The Hunt Early on the fourth day of returning to Korriban Cho Wroth woke and gathered his saber and a few bags of raw meat from kills he had made the days earlier. Hefting the sloshy bags of meat on his shoulder he made his way to the old ravine he knew held a strong connection to the darkside. The Tuk'ata in the old forgotten sith tomb were of the stranger and stronger of the hounds he had known. Entering the ravine Cho sounded an old howl with it backed in power and effect by the force. The eerie howl echoed down the ravine and off the walls and down the tomb. Stretching out his force senses he could feel the presences of life coming from the tomb. A singular Tuk'ata came from the shadow of the tomb to hiss and chuff at the noghri. To Cho's eyes this scout was a poor pathetic sight. It was smaller than it should have been and weaker in the darkness that the tomb. Sighing Cho walked to the hound a tilted his head and charbled and greeting to the hound. Letting his power and connection in the force weak as it's own. The little scout jumped at Wroth. Sidestepping, the noghri let the hound fly past. Hissing Cho showed a bit more of his level in the force. Taking a more alpha stance Cho tossed a small piece of fresh meat at the hound hitting it in the face. As the scout was wiping the blood off of it's face, a second leaped from the darkness at Wroth's back. This one was very strong both in the force and in physical strength. Ducking and rolling to his right Cho used a force push to toss the new hound over to the scout. Showing more of his presence in the force Cho was now five times stronger than the new tuk'ata. Cho had a great way to go before he show half way of his force signature. Looking over at the new hound it was a second's brute the front liner when speaking in war terms. Cho was looking for the Brutes for they were not the power but they often had numbers on their side. From the scarring of this one it was a new brute. Chunking another bit of meat into the face of the brute Cho turned to the entrance of the tomb leaving the two beasts with the scraps of meat. Entering the tomb Cho was met with the same force energies of most sith tombs, anger, hate, despair and fear. To push the whispers of the tomb away Cho let more of his power be known but only enough to silence the voices. Every once in a while Wroth could feel an icy ghostly phantom force touch him, but when they touched him they recoiled in shock at his hidden power. Soon the phantoms left him be and he moved more freely into the depths of the tomb. Each fork or T junction Cho would toss a piece of meat into the tunnels and rooms he did not enter or use. Cho's connection to the darkness and the primal force side told him all he needed to know of what was following him, Tuk'atas a great pack. The only tunnels he didn't chose were the ones that led to the pup chambers or the 'bone pile'. The bone pile was a cavernous area where older hounds were laid to rest or the corpus of the eaten were dragged. Those areas were special and off limits to outsiders. The only chamber that was of importance was the main chamber the Alpha chamber. The chamber where the biggest and most powerful Tuk'ata called it's own. Getting near the tomb red eyes glowed out of the darkness of the tunnels and alcoves. The tuk'ata were showing themselves now their life force and presence was becoming a bit numerous for Cho to count. Loosing count at 400 strong gave Wroth a good starting area to knowing the health of this pack. Every once in a while Cho would see green yellow and orange eyes glowing back at him but he did not see any eyes of blue until he came through the entrance of the Alpha chamber. There sitting upon an over sized coffin of some long dead and forgotten Sith Lord. The brightly glowing blue eyes stared back at Cho. Within them flowed power and age that time and the force gave her. Yes, HER. The Alpha female was the currently ruling Tuk'ata. She though was laying down was five feet to the shoulders which would put her a good ten feet standing. Cho was being pressed by the power of her signature. It was wanting to know who this being was and why it was not eaten yet. Sighing Cho opened himself to the force letting all the tuk'ata know just how powerful he was. The force swelled to enveloped most of the room that the alpha did not take and then started to push her power back to a section that was a third of the chamber. Cho's power flowed of him like a dark shroud tendrils whipped and snapped making those of the hounds that got too close. The Alpha blinked her eyes it was not at the shear power but it was some thing else. It was not the smell of fresh meat or even the smell of the others wanting to kill the intruder. The smell was old a smell over ten years ago. She rose and moved to Cho to get a better look at him and a better sniff. Cho himself felt a connection when he to started to look her over. It was then when she rose to come near him did he remember her. On her left shoulder was an old brand his brand of marking the best Tuk'ata. He had chosen over ten years ago the best breeders and the ones with the most potential to be the next alphas. Moving forward he extended his hand out and touched her muzzle and slowly stroked her head. This did not come freely though. Her Alpha breeder male leaped out and tackled Cho and then tried to pin him with a death bite. Cho flared in power gathering it into his fist and striking the male in the neck. The strike was not one of a killing blow for the angle was off for Cho. It did though gave Cho the chance to right himself. With a snap hiss Wroth's saber leaped to life. A roar enhanced by the force came from Cho. It slammed into the male like a brick wall. The roar itself almost made the hound bend a knee. Cho looked around and soon the male was soon joined by other males each looked like the alpha male. These other hounds must have been it's offspring coming to their father's aide. Setting his teeth and his feet Cho knew blood was going to have to flow before these hounds were going to kowtow to him. Looking over to the Alpha female he noted she had went back to the coffin and was laying there awaiting to see if he was still worthy of the title Tuk'ata Master. Next Day of Blood

Day of Blood With his eyes half closed and viewing the beasts before him in the force Cho was waiting for that shift in their lines. The ones before him were mostly older veterans of the hounds. " What a waste. ...." Wroth thought. Making a half foot shift to the stronger of the hounds Cho drew one the younger hounds to him. With a half smile the noghri whipped the force out to grab the tuk'ata by the hind legs and pull them through it's front legs. With a whimper the hound tried to scramble to get a hold of the ground. When it thought it had a hold Cho would pull harder or twist it's legs making it turn and loose it's grip. Within striking distance Cho did not strike with his lit saber but made the hound kneel at his feet till the whimpering stopped. Puzzled the young hound wondered why it was not dead. The others had the same thought as another older hound was grabbed and dragged to the noghri sith. The next hound was not whimpering but trying to fight the force hold Cho had on him. Snarling, snapping and biting the air the tuk'ata did all it could to rid himself of the intruder. It too came with saber range and yet again Cho stayed his blade. Letting the force make a quick strike on the hounds nose and then wrap it's self around the muzzle and pinning it to the ground Cho walked to it to tower over the hound. Putting his foot upon it's head Cho stood still looking at the others and then brought his thrumming saber to the neck of the hound and then to it's left shoulder. Here Wroth made his mark upon the tuk'ata's shoulder. The mark was the same as he had done so many years ago to the now Alpha female. Burbling her approval the Alpha female shifted on her throne. A muffled snarl came from the alpha male as he knew what had just happened. It stepped forward slowly trying to get closer for a better position to strike. Cho took his foot from the pinned hound and released the force hold it had on it. Blinking it raised it's head and looked from it's blood brothers to the Alpha female. It could see both in the force and with it's eyes what Cho had done to it in both ways. The noghri had gave it a higher rank and at the same time cut it's blood tie with his brothers. Now the other tuk'ata started to spread out with the change in numbers. Next to the alpha male was a massive brute, big yet a little slow in the head type. Cho's next targeted the brute. Wroth sent visions of his past battles with other tuk'ata at his side fighting glorious battles and then afterward eating till it had no more want for food. Almost at once it seemed the fight was not in the hound for it wanted battle and food more than the endless days of quiet and rations of rats and rotting meat of unlucky dark force users. The alpha male tried to snap the brute out of it but Cho force slammed it away back past the picket line it's sons had formed. Without blinking the brute came forward to Cho giddy at the prospect of joining a war. With this addition the line faltered as two other just simply swapped sides and three turned and disappeared into the darkened hallways of the catacombs. The Alpha female saw enough with a low rumbling bark the battle was all but over. Yet the alpha male did not except it. With it's eyes filled with anger and rage it charged Wroth. Cho turned and side stepped with an upper strike taking the horns and right ear off. Shaking it's head the male charged again this time jumping and trying for a swipe. Cho ducked and rolled forward under the jump attack to turn with a swing of it's blade to remove the left hind foot from the tuk'ata. It slide to a stop and tired for another attack lacking the speed of the full back feet it was still able to get the purchase to get another jump this time shorter. Cho tired of unthinking fight grabbed the hound mid-air with the force and slashed it from nose to nut. The smell of burnt blood and spilled bowls filled the cavern hall. Wroth dropped the still sizzling corpus of the alpha male near a group of young tuk'ata that looked like they had not had a meal in weeks. Hungrily they ate the corpus the sons of the now dead male backed off. Moving to the Alpha female he raised his lit saber into the air before her as a sign of victor. She said nothing but simply lowered her head to him. Wroth turned to now gathered horde pack still with his saber rose. Each in turn lowered themselves or exposed their necks to him as a sigh that he was the new Alpha the Tuk'ata Beast Master. Next

Raise of the Horde The horde of tuk'ata slowly followed Cho Wroth as they made their way to the surface. The wider, larger path that the Alpha female could take was often blocked or hindered by traps and sith ghosts. Cho backed with the horde of tuk'ata was a power that drove the ghosts from their holds. Most of the ghosts were weakened over the years and the traps had all but fell upon themselves tripping what ever danger they posed. It was only finding a path that the Alpha female could move through was the hardest thing. Often Cho had to result in cutting his way through with his saber and letting the hounds drag the stone away. The final opening was the smallest and it took the most time to open wider. Cho sat near the entrance lifting the massive boulders that the hounds could not clear. He hadn't worked this hard for a long while and it felt great to be extending his powers and strengthening his connection to the force here on Korriban. More and more tuk'ata came outside to dig on the outside. A bark would go up as a stone would be free to move. Wroth through his connection with them guided and encouraged them as the work progressed. The work had spurts of movement but most would slow down when Cho had to move the larger stones the size of fighter craft. Once a stone was moved the younger hounds would start digging and moving the smaller rocks. After moving a particular large boulder Cho wobbled as his energy wavered and his connection lessened. With a yipp and a bark from within the Alpha female would take over keeping them going. The entrance of the horde's tomb was slowly growing in size. Two more hours and the seven foot tomb entrance became a ten foot sloping gaping maw like that of an enormous ant hill. The Alpha female slowly came to the entrance sniffing the air of the surface for the first time in years. Cho on wobbly legs came near her. Gathering more of the primal force power and taming just a minor bit he was able to stand on firm feet. Side by side they stood there looking into the early morning as ships streaked through the air toward the temple's landing grounds. Cho wondered if their activities went unseen or known. He was not quiet in the force nor were the gathering horde of Tuk'ata on the surface would not be missed from the air or sensors. Putting a hand upon her right leg he steadied himself with a deep inhaling keeping the tired sleep from his mind. No more will you have to live a life of starvation, clinging to the scraps of the tomb and feeding solely upon the darkness. The surface is now yours to grow and serve the Sith once again.
