As the Watchman of Naboo, Alliera had a responsibility to protect it's people from any number of threats, and that included the pirates that just so happened to menace the planet around the time she got the job. A few leads had led the Jedi to Umgul as a location that some of the pirates would be gathered at, using some of their ill-gotten gains to buy some entertainment at the numerous places to gamble on the planet. It had thusly been decided, mostly by Alliera herself, that she would go and knock some skulls in. The first part in what would hopefully be a multi-part effort to root out the pirates. The Order had agreed, on the condition that she bring another Jedi along. It made sense, Umgul was technically an independant World, a softer touch might be needed in places.
Thus, when the Jolly Dancer opened up, R4 and Alliera were not the only sentients leaving the Ship. The Young Knight, To-Fyve was with the duo. Apparently, he had been a slave saved on the Smuggler's Moon by a Jedi. This caused Alliera to feel for the man, she couldn't imagine that life, and he had grown up so strong and smart on top of it all. Alliera was adjusting her heavy pistol in it's holster, watching the man. "Do you have any way you want to play this?" Alliera asked, genuine curiosity in her voice "We can see if these guys make waves with the locals."

It wasn't usual for them to send out on a mission that bode conflict, as O-Ate was more of a slow-paced peacekeeper, he would be unlikely to draw his weapon before the opposition would, not about. That made him more accessible in humanitarian efforts, the juxtaposition of this mission wasn't something that was wasted on him either. O-Ate knew of the one he was teamed with, and she was compared to that of a Rhino, unaware of what she might be breaking as she stomped about. The idea was humorous when thought upon, but the actual scenario was far off from O-Ate's disposition.
As they disembarked their ship, he donned his robe and pulled the hood over his head. His sabers stashed on his belt, for quick access. The woman who walked ahead of him seemed a bit impatient already, not outwardly as much as one would assume, but having been near a lot of people like her, he could begin to sense it. The question she subsequently asked was strange, as he had simply faulted himself to a follower in the mission, not a leader. From what he could tell, all his advice will be is a suggestion, as she and the Order didn't think this was going to end humanely. The idea is that he was here to try and find a peaceful solution, and she was there to crack heads when necessary.
"We must take it slow for now, if we alert them too early all will be lost in our efforts." the words of his master rung in his head as he said that. It wasn't hard for a student to become like the teacher, nor usual. It just surprised him was all, how much he had changed since the start of his Jedi journey. "We need to scout out the area first, allow them to come to us." He wove his hands away from him, then toward him as he said the last part, indicating away from us, vs coming to us. "Unless perhaps you have a better idea?" Perhaps O-Ate came off as being sarcastic or stand-offish, yet it was his general curiosity that gave off this vibe.

Another ship had landed some time earlier, and it had disgorged its passengers quickly. One of them, a tall-ish woman in a heavy black cloak, kept to herself as she went into the city. Her destination was a particular cantina, where a certain band of pirates was rumored to be known...
She had to ask directions here and there, but she found the place in time and walked on in. Ignoring everyone else she went for the bar and leaned against it, tapping some credits in an impatient rhythm. "Ah, a new face," the barkeep said cheerfully, wiping a glass out and walking towards her. "What can I get you?"
"Information," the woman replied, sliding the credits towards him. "I heard Jevik and his goons come 'round here now 'n again. I owe 'em money, see."
That brought a frown to his face. "Money, sure. Some of them are in the corner there, but Jevik himself is out somewhere. I haven't overheard where, exactly." He pocketed the credits anyway and poured her a drink, and she took it with a nod.
"Thanks, pal." She threw it back in a few long quaffs, then shrugged out of the cloak; beneath it she wore a bizarre outfit of spikes and revealing leather, with a corset and a skirt, blonde hair tied back in girlish pigtails and a complicated magnetic harness on the back that held a large pink slugthrower machine gun. Dangling from a loop at her waist was a folded-up weapon of some sort or other. "The Exchange says thanks too! An' if I were you'd I call it an early day, shit's about ta get nasty!"
She grabbed the weapon and clicked a button, and it smoothly unfurled into a large, sparking hammer. Then while the barkeep ducked away into the backroom she turned and skipped back to the group of pirates. "Alright bozos! Tell me where yer boss is an' I might let some a' y'all walk!" Naturally the lot of them fumbled for blasters and scrambled to their feet, which brought a nasty grin to her face. "Right then, don't say I didn't warn ya!"
That hammer came up and she swung for the fences! A loud crackling of electrical discharge followed, and the guy she slammed was thrown clear out the door and into the street! Within sight of the two approaching Jedi, coincidentally.

"Nope, sounds good to me." Alliera said, leading the way through the city. It was overall a pleasant day on Umgul, for the given value of pleasant in the city. "I figure we can see the local sights and see if anyone has been particularly naughty." Alliera said, looking around as she said this, the city was an interesting place. The Jedi had never really gambled before, but she had come close to similar areas when looking for mechanical parts to salvage at times. All thoughts were put on hold when a body was thrown out of a local bar and into the street. "Well, it looks like the welcome party started without us." Alliera joked to the Knight, hurrying over to the door in question "Do me a favor and see if you can identify our friend while I make a nuisance of myself." Alliera slowly crept into the Bar, her heavy pistol in her hand. "Oh come on now guys, littering?" Alliera said, in a faux-offended tone "I thought you guys were toughs and pirates, but stooping to throwing your garbage out on the street is low."
There was indeed the usual mix of toughs, pirates, and vaguely rough people. What sprang out at Alliera was the strange looking woman carrying the Hammer. She could tell the people the woman was menacing were pirates, their clothes and equipment gave them away, along with the fact that there were too many of them to be a smuggling crew enjoying local flavor between drops. Alliera likely cut an intimidating figure herself in the bar, a mix of regular clothing under a Jedi Robe with an armored Cuirass gleaming in the light. The lightsaber on her hip was obvious as were the ammo pouches and holsters. "Now, why don't we all drop our weapons so we can talk this out, there's no reason anyone else has to die." Alliera said, ready to pull her lightsaber to her free hand. Honestly, everyone was passed the talking part, but she had to try...for the new guy if nothing else.

The atmosphere felt dark in presence, the information he got on this planet didn't seem entirely as bad as it actually was. How the woman spoke actually made him question his preconceived notions. She wasn't as brutish as she was made to be, she seemed quite pleasant actually. A loud crash could be heard nearest to him, as he was slightly ahead in pace. The sound of a body sliding on the ground in front of them wasn't hard to hear. "I got it, just remember we're trying to do this as peacefully as possible!" he shouted, remembering what the council had explained to him before.
Rushing off to see the man who was thrown, he placed his hand on where he had learned where the heart was on the race. Looking him over, he felt a heartbeat but the man was unconscious. The attire gave away his job, as he didn't seem to be anyone who worked on this planet. Before he could get up from checking the man, he saw her slide into the building. "Sorry pal looks like I'm needed," he said jokingly, slapping the ground and rushing over to her. Upon reaching her, he slowed his pace and underneath his robe smiled very briefly before speaking, "I'd all put down your blasters if I were you," his hands were mostly obstructed by his robe, but he had already slipped them underneath and he was holding both his lightsabers ready to deflect incoming blaster fire. Nodding at the woman, he snickered again as he spoke, "And you, you put down that comically oversized hammer," once more glancing around the room as he spoke.
"There's no need for violence, I don't know what happened between you and this woman, but we came for peace," he said, lying to the entire room. The lie wasn't innately that, as it was only changed due to the fact that peace was never an option with these types, not until a show of force has been made.

No sooner had she launched one unfortunate prick out the door and was lining up for another one, but a pair of Jedi showed up too! One right after the other! And the first one looked like she meant business. Vivi scowled, but she relaxed her grip on her weapon anyway. No sense getting into it with those two ready to do their space wizardry. The pirates, naturally, weren't nearly as intelligent, and madly opened fire on all three of them. Vivi swore and thrust her hand out, using the Force to disarm a few of the thugs. Not all of them, sadly, but enough to confuse them so she could bring her hammer back up and go to town! In a crowd like this, a big weapon like hers was ideal, and she had enough strength and mobility to overcome the obvious weaknesses. And she seemed tough enough to ignore or shrug off when she did get shot, which led to even more consternation in the ranks of the pirates. "Take THAT! And THAT!" she shouted, swinging and twirling. One of them pulled a rusty knife and tried to get in close, thinking she wouldn't be able to bring that hammer to its full use if he was inside its reach, but she deflected with the haft, reached out and grabbed his head to slam his face into the sparking side of it! He jittered and fell to the floor, and she went on to the next clown!

"Sorry, I tried." Alliera called to O-Ate, dodging behind a table she upturned with the force and returning fire "At least we got one that isn't shooting at us." Alliera fired her heavy pistol, getting one of the pirates in the chest, making him collapse in a heap. Alliera's other hand was on her lightsaber, called to her grip with the force, and activated wreathing the nearby metal surfaces in blue light. Alliera stood up, using her saber to deflect bolts, as her pistol was slid back into it's holster. Alliera rolled to an upturned table nearer to the action, throwing her lightsaber with the force, tearing through 3 of the pirates that were grouped close together, before circling back to her hand. "You know, this isn't going well for you guys, you can surrender any time now!" Alliera called to the pirates, taking out a vibroknife previously hidden somewhere in her chest piece and throwing it into another pirate.

"Suicide by Jedi isn't a good way to go, but it is a quick way to go," he said, as the blasters started firing. O8 quickly lighted both his sabers and began twirling them as a means to block the bolts and bouncing them back toward the pirates. O8 wasn't akin to blasters as much as he was to his lightsabers, and much prepared to have them than not. Lifting his stance, he shifted his weight and lowered his right hand's saber and pushed out with the force shoving a pirate hard into the wall seemingly knocking him out. Blocking the blaster fire, he quickly made his way toward the knocked-out pirate and began deflecting blasters protecting him and himself.
"A show of force is always needed with these types. Perhaps after this, they will listen." The room was thinned out at this point, from the onlookers who were hiding behind something to the pirates that either quickly cleared out or were hit with deflected blasters. "We have two unconscious pirates, the one outside may have been taken away or woke up at this point." He said after the silence of the room that had boiled down to after Alliera shouted for their surrender, which they seemed to oblige her at this point by filing out of the back of the building. The real question now is if the hammer girl in front of him was an enemy as well. 08 stood there over the pirate with his lightsabers still lit, casting a white hue on the wall behind him. 08 gave a look to the hammer girl, then once to Alliera.
"Are you in cahoots with these lot?" he asked, tilting his head at the hammer girl very slightly.

"Aw man." Vivi wasn't gonna hide her disappointment as the remaining pirates broke ranks and fled the cantina. She wanted more mayhem! Oh well, at least with things quieted down they get on with grilling the remaining clowns for some decent info!
"Make that three, pal, an' I ain't in cahoots with nobody," she said over her shoulder, bending down to snag the bozo she'd shocked in the face before. He was barely awake and his face was singed, and she dragged him to a chair and threw him into it. "Wake up! Gimme what I wanna know before I brain ya fer real!" she demanded, slapping him across the singed side of his face.
He groaned and winced, not quite back to his sense. "Huh...? Go away, I didn' do nothin'..." he slurred, shaking his head.
"Didn't do-! You fucking SHOT ME!" Vivi ranted, pulling her shirt up to reveal a bright red burn on her stomach. One of several all over her body in fact, scorching skin and clothing alike. "Now fess up 'fore I pay ya back in kind! Where. The FUCK! IS JEVIK!" She dropped her shirt and raised her hammer threateningly, while it made ominous electric sparking noises...
"W-Wait, no! Okay, okay, he's on his ship!" the pirate babbled, cringing away from the weapon. "B-But it's at our secret landing pad!"
Vivi just rolled her eyes at that. "Either a' y'all wanna turn at him?" she drawled at the two Jedi, as the hammer stopped sparking so she could lean against it like a post.

"I certainly would." Alliera said, nodding to the woman "If I'm right, he's part of the problem my system is facing...and even if I'm not, taking out more of the local pirates can only help Naboo's situation." Alliera looked towards O-Ate, silently prompting him for input. Alliera knew she was a capable Knight, and the trust Moho placed in her to watch over Naboo showed that at least the Grandmaster thought so too, but having a second Knight to voice their opinion and point of view was always helpful. The fact that O-Ate hadn't been judgemental helped his stature immensly in Alliera's view. Alliera stowed her weapons and her lightsaber, a show of trust. Alliera even found her Vibroknife, and called it back to her, stowing it in it's shieth.
"So, I'm guessing these pirates have been annoying your employer as well." Alliera said to the woman, taking a more casual stance herself; leaning against one of the upturned tables "Pirates have been pestering the planet I was assigned to, and these unfortunates seem to be the people I've been looking for."

The whirring of his lightsabers ceased as the room came to a standstill in the fighting. The destruction of the inside of this building was saddening for him, as he preferred to get things done civilly, but he was no stranger to chaos. "Aye, I believe we might do well to get to this secret pad." The strange hammer lady seemed to not be hostile, and that put him at ease, as he stowed his sabers back on his belt. Making his way up to the pirate, who seemed to have better days. "I prefer not to have them kill you, but you must help me if that were to come to pass." He said, his voice gentle as he waved his hand in front of him as he now spoke. "You will show us to your secret pad." Using the force, he pushed on the mind of the weakened and scared pirate. Shoving the idea of helping them get what they wanted deep into his mind and making it his own idea. "I will show you to our secret pad." He exhaled largely and weakly. "We have our way to them now, what to do with the stragglers here?" he said, waving around at some of the dead pirates that had their lives taken in defense of their own, and most by means of stray blaster fire and perhaps even some friendly crossfire.
"I'd like to bury them, but unfortunately there were those that got away and their options are either face two Jedi and a hammer or flee on their ship. If I were them, I'd pick the latter," he said, his full input on the situation now clear. Even though they were violent and rude, it doesn't mean they deserve to be shoved in a hateful hole together and buried as if they were unfit for life. Now that he just gave them the means to find the pirates and what they should do next, he added one more thing, to let the woman with the hammer know his position in this situation. "Before we go in guns blazing, err hammers sparking," he said, glancing at the woman's hammer. "I'd prefer to try and talk to them civilly, if we are met with violence my position in that matter will be swayed."

Dead pirates, eh. Vivi's first thought was to just leave them there, but that probably wasn't very polite, was it? She sighed and thought it through for a second. "Buryin' 'em's gonna take more time 'n we have, them clowns that ran off're probably gonna warn th' rest a' their pals an' if we give 'em too much time they'll be all dug in 'n fortified against us. Then yer talkin' probably won't go so well, will it?"
She glanced back at the bar, where the barkeep had resumed his spot now that the noise had subsided. "Hey buddy! You wanna call th' cops fer us, 'bout five minutes after we leave? Let THEM sort th' bodies out!" The fellow shrugged his indifference to the plan, he'd been bribed already so anything was fine by him.
"Jedi or not, the local yokels probably won't appreciate a big ol' throwdown in their town! They'll want statements an' evidence an' all kindsa time-wastey shit we don't really need right now! So I say we clear off 'n git after that secret pad a'ready!"

The unforeseen sound of a communicator could be heard in the silence after the hammer girl talked, and instinctively reaching into his robe, he pulled out his communicator to see a holo of one of the older Jedi masters. The Jedi phased in and out for a moment, before O8 slammed his hand on the communicator and it stabilized. "Is Alliera still with you?" O8 nodded, as he spoke. "Yes, master, we are heading to the root of the pirate disturbance here on Umgol." The master held his hand to his chin and thought of the decision he seemed to have already been told to make. "We need Alliera back on Naboo, they have requested her back and it seems to be of the upmost importance. They didn't quite tell us what it was, but I have a bad feeling about all this," the Jedi paused, and looked back up at 08. "We tried contacting her, but it seems either the transmission is blocked, or something happened to her communicator?" O8 looked at Alliera, and she was already ready to leave as she nodded and left. "She is headed there now," 08 looked up at the pirate they captured, who was waiting for them to follow him, still under the effects of the mind trick, then back to the hammer girl.
"I guess it's just you and me," he smiled at her, an inch of awkwardness creeping over, before walking next to the pirate once more. "Let's go."

"Aw man." Vivi looked genuinely disappointed as Alliera was called away, but she wasn't the sort to let bad vibes drag her down for long. She wiped her weapons off, met his awkward grin with a confident smirk of her own and fell in behind them, idly twirling her hammer and whistling cheerfully. Sirens were heard once they were well away from the scene, and she collapsed it into its folded form and stuck it to the magnetic harness at her back.
"Sooo, Jedi, ya got a plan?" she asked in a faux-innocent tone of voice. "Cuz I sure don't! I like wingin' it fer this sorta shit, that way we ain't gotta rethink on th' fly cuz there weren't no thinkin' ta redo anyways!"
It was easy to assume that whatever sort of "plan" she came up with would only involve violence and more violence, so if 08 wanted to impose any kind of order on the proceedings, now was a good time to try. But Vivienne Hawke was exceptionally stubborn, as anyone could attest to.

Since Aliera left, he reeled at the idea of having to do this solo. Unfortunately before he ended the conversation on the communicator, they told him to continue his mission. Stopping the pirates would help Naboo as well as Umgol. "I am going to try and peacefully end this, telling them to go somewhere else. The reason I'm here is that Naboo can't spare people to come out here, they even are using volunteer forces for something internal." O8 looked at the hammer girl, and sighed. Just like he feared with Aliera, going with this woman was going to be hard, and she seemed to really want to end the pirates reign here as well. From what he knew, she was part of the Exchange. It was just like in a book, the hero uses another villian to defeat another villian, that idea was bemusing.
"So let me talk, if the guns fire do whatever you want. I'll have to as well, either they end peacefully or they end. Period." O8 preferred the latter to not come to fruition, but it was rarely true. "For now, I'll follow him back to their base, and try talking to whoever is leading these pirates."
"Go," he said, as he looked at the pirate he had mind tricked. "Take us to wherever you guys are stationed at." The pirate nodded and began heading out of the building.

Ugh, how boring. Talk talk talk! Well, they were dumb pirates, so the odds of this going tits-up was actually pretty good. She figured she could still have fun here!
"Whatever you say, pal," she drawled, still following behind them. The pirate led them through the city, avoiding the main thoroughfares, until they reached the outskirts, where dense fog lingered heavily in the hills and crevasses. Their guide didn't hesitate but kept going, toward one of the higher hills; Vivi surmised it might be hollowed out, with mouths and exits all over the mountains nearby for ships to leave and come back from.
No way some measly pirates built a setup that elaborate by themselves. Probably an old military base! Must be pretty damn old if the locals had lost track of it, though.
They went through a ravine and found a rusty door, guarded by a couple of grunts. "Who's there?" one of them yelled, peering through the fog as both of them raised their blaster rifles.

Following the man lead them into a ravine, where the fog overlapped and he could hardly see in front of him most of the time. Every once in a while he heard distant sounds, some creatures, and other metal. He had no idea what animals or fauna were on this planet, and if they were dangerous so he kept his wits about him. Upon reaching the old base they were using as a hideout, he was amazed at the fact that they had even found this, and better yet that none of the people on the planet knew of it.
"I don't think I'll be able to talk them out of staying here," he whispered to himself. If his new companion had been paying attention perhaps she could have heard briefly what he said. "I'm pretty sure we're going to have to make them leave..." he paused and stood still for a moment, "by force..." immediately he began his pace behind the pirate again. The idea of a fight wasn't a good notion, and it wasn't like he could take on an army himself, sure he wasn't incapable of fighting, but this seemed to be an organized crime syndicate, pirates would be too measly called for them now. Having a base and operating out of it made them organized, pirates were usually disorganized and easily scattered.
Stopping the pirate by grabbing his shoulder, he waved his hand and used the force to implant the idea that they were going to meet their boss and they were summoned there. "We were summoned by your boss, and you were told to bring us to him." This suggested that his job is to bring us to their boss. "You were summoned... I must bring you to my boss..." he mumbled, as O8 let him go, and he kept leading on. Mind tricking him again wouldn't be very likely, as it was getting harder to convince him that these are his orders, he could feel the pirate forcing back on him with his will.
Upon reaching the door, the pirate stopped and put his hands in the air. "Eh, it's me dumbass," the guard who had pointed the gun at him now lowered it until O8 and his companion came into view, raising it once more and he spoke with alert in his voice, "Who are these people!?" he questioned, swaying the gun back and forth between his two new targets. "Calm down, they're here to speak with the boss. He told them to come, and for me to get them. Don't you know this?" The mind tricked pirate swung his hands dismissively at his comrade, and the comrade lowered his guard briefly. "I was never told this, you know how they are in there. Guard duty is such a drag," he said, lowering his gun a bit, but it was obvious he was still on alert.
"So what're they doing here again?" The guard asked, moving toward the door as if to open it, but waiting for the response. As he spoke and waited, he looked both O8 and his companion up and down, assessing what they could be doing here. The mind tricked pirate quickly spoke up, "You think they tell me things? I was told to go get them, and I did. That's all I did, whatever he wants with them is his own business." Luckily mind tricked individuals can come up with their own narrative, as the idea is implanted in their head as if it was theirs.
The entire time, O8 stood just a few feet beside the pirate, glancing over at his hammer-wielding companion every once in a while, hoping that she doesn't somehow just start firing, or swinging.

Fog or not, Vivi paid attention to the people around her. Especially when they slowed down and started muttering to themselves! She only shrugged, though. If he couldn't talk their way through this, then it was up to her to save the day! "Git a move on, bub," she drawled, poking him in the back when he paused. No sense letting on she'd heard him, she figured.
Once at the gate, which seemingly appeared from nowhere in the mist, two guards stood at ease. One of them challenged the group, and their tour guide responded competently. Vivi decided he'd get to stay alive, as long as he had enough sense to stay out of their way later on that is.
As the questions dragged on Vivi got antsy, unfolding her hammer and fidgeting with it; balancing it over her shoulder, idly tapping the ground, hefting it here and there. She didn't say anything, but the expression of restrained mania she directed at the mouthy guard told him he'd be first on her list of diversions to distract herself if things didn't get moving again, and fast!
Thankfully for all involved the man took the hint, and opened the door; it screeched and dragged, but opened all the same, and he waved them through, relieved not to have to deal with the crazy woman and her pals.
The interior wasn't much better, bare rock interspersed with rusted metal panels covering service ducts. Or crevasses in the caves, whichever. The halls were narrow and any identifying marks had worn away with age or been deliberately scratched out, so there was no way to tell who had originally dug the tunnels and installed all the fixtures.
At least it was well lit, although that didn't do the aesthetics any favors.
"Y'know, I bet this coulda been a mine a' some sort," Vivi said wonderingly, tapping a floor panel with the heel of her boot. "Either that or a military base. Best hope it's th' former, pal!" She glanced at their guide. "So how much deeper ya think our new friend'll git us?"

Lucky for him, his companion didn't seem to go off on the deep end, based on her appearances it'll be a mystery for all eternity why she didn't just go off, as that would have been the cliche thing for her to do at that point. The insides were very rigid and bare, as it was obvious this was all done in a rush, which could have indicated a mine as well, but it seemed to be too rushed for a mine, as they usually were more up to snuff, this seemed to be hastily done. "I think this is an old military outpost, dug out into the hills for a strategic position." O8's eyes darted around, soaking in everything he could. The rusted metal everywhere were a sign of military, as miners usually would have used a more primitive structure, but more than likely would have been better made than this.
"I just hope there was nothing for them to scavenge, I'm assuming there wasn't..." he trailed off, as the guide kept going. "I don't think he will get us any further without some sort of conflict, the commotion you caused earlier will have reached here by now. So they'll be looking for two Jedi and a hammer-wielding woman," he said, his eyes motioning toward her hammer, and he held his robe open to show his lightsabers. While he did this, he then shifted them on his belt to behind him, so he could quickly get to them, but his robe would hide them from view regardless of the front angle.
"What I want to do is to..." he pulled out some stun cuffs, with a remote out of a pouch under his robe. "I will turn you in, and say the Jedi got away. I'll ask to speak to their boss, and when I'm up close I can negotiate their surrender or... force their surrender." he looked back at his guide, who he had tapped on the back before talking, indicating for him to stop. "You, nor I can handle an organized defense like they will have here. They are far too organized to be lowly pirates, this has to be some form of syndicate that formed on this planet, and are finding the value of this planet too low and are spreading out to other planets..." he said, this time he was no longer looking at her and was basically spilling out his thought process as he spelled out the plan.
"Excuse me if it's rude... but," he paused, looking her over. "You aren't the planning type, and you made that clear earlier. But I don't think you're stupid either, and whatever is in this mine, outpost, base, whatever... Is going to be too much to handle alone, so getting straight to their boss will be our best bet, unless you had an idea?" O8 was usually shy and inhibited but when it came to planning and strategy, he would usually stand out in the crowd and almost enforce his ideas as if they're the only good ones. He's been made aware of this from his time as a Jedi, and have been working on it. Unfortunately, he knew deep down that there was a good chance they could wipe out this entire place given enough time, but there was no need for senseless killing when one death could cause the collapse of this entire place.

Vivi glared at the stun cuffs and waved them away from herself. "Tie yerself up, pal, I ain't wearin' them things," she snapped, irritation and something else plain to see. The truth was that she had a mild case of merinthophobia, or the fear of being restrained, and she didn't have the self-control to overcome it on such short notice.
It was really annoying how that other Jedi had been called away. She doubted that one would have been so nervous about their chances of making it through this!
08 was right about one thing, though, if they could get close to the boss before the fighting broke out it would make things easier for them. "Better idea! I take YOU prisoner an' head on up fer Jevik. I'm with the Exchange, they won't dare do anythin' to really hurt me, and if they get any funny ideas you c'n waggle yer finger 'n give 'em other funny ideas!"
As far as them being all that organized, she doubted it. Cool base or not, their stoolie wouldn't have sold them out so easily if there was serious weight at the top. Organized implied disciplined, and so far she hadn't seen much of that; the cantina shootout hadn't lasted that long at all, and the pirates had been little more than a rabble with blasters, shooting themselves as much as they shot Vivi or the Jedi.
Apart from all that, she was entirely confident that as long as the Jedi didn't wimp out, they could lay siege to this whole place all by themselves and wipe them all out, down to the last thug. Hell, it might even be to their benefit if some kind of alarm went off! That would recall all their forces in the area and save them the trouble of a long, drawn-out hunt!
"Syndicate or not, I betcha we can take 'em all head-on if yer smooth talkin' falls flat, so either way we gotta git closer 'fore we turn up the heat. Another thing is I know my way 'round bombs 'n shit so if we can find th' right supports I can blow up th' whole base 'n kill 'em all at once! Put it on a timer or a remote so we ain't get blown up too! That'd take quite a bit a' sneakin' though, an' I ain't th' sneakiest type. Or one hell of a distraction..."
It was just 08's bad luck he was stuck with a bloodthirsty troubleshooter like Vivienne Hawke.
