Name: Malace Dekk
Race: Near-Human
Age: 18
Height: 5'11
Weight: 165
Appearance: Malace wears a long Brown Jedi robe when travelling, and cream coloured Padawan Robes under that aswell as brown boots which just come short of his knees. He is of a healthy and well toned frame, especially for his age. He has dark brown hair almost black in places which comes to just under his ear and a braid which comes down to his shoulder, it usually remains tucked behind his ear making it appear shorter. His skin is naturally smooth baring no scars of any kind. He also wears a ragged piece of what appears to be torn robe around his eyes hiding them which is almost customary amongst his people who don't like to show the white orbs that are their eyes. Other than the raggered piece of robe he has over his eyes, he also has a more smooth and well cut piece of cloth which he prepared intending to wear it at the Ceremony, there after he would wear it to help him show that he felt better of himself.
He carried more of his mothers features than his fathers. Luckily that meant that his features didn't protrude and seem unnatural, they were well proportioned, the bridge of his nose looked strong, his cheek bones not too high and his lips not to thin or pale.
Birth place: Alpheridies
Faction: Jedi
Rank: Padawan
Bio: Malace was born on Alpheridies. The home world of his people. A world belonging to the Miraluka. His people mainly lived off the land. Getting all of the resources they needed from the planet. This led his species to be reclusive having no need for others help. Malace's family was no different and were farmers as it could be called. He too worked and helped, not by force but because he wished to help. To make himself useful. To prove he was worth something. That the people had no reason to get rid of him. Strangely though he'd been given no reason to think like this. He had just woken in the night and decided it was time he did something. He was very young but still did small things. Even at his age of three he was able to bring tools to help.
As luck would have it a Jedi called Nasari` was passing through the system. Stopping for supplies along with his Padawan, Juradis and another knight, Tabian on Malace's home planet. They found Malace working not to far from the town they had went into to get basic supplies from. He just happened to be along their path as they returned to their ship. He stood out from the other children because he actually worked even with his age. He seemed to be more developed mentally and his ties with the force were stronger. True he percieved the world around him using force sight but he had developed an uncanny knack for seeing danger seconds before it struck. They decided to take him back to be judged by the council on whether or not he had the natural skills and bonds to the force to be trained as a Jedi. He was four when he left with the three Jedi that had stopped on the Alpheridies. It felt like a long and cold journey since he had never been into the depths of space before. He also wasn't very sure what to expect when he was presented to the council but he had heard of the Jedi before. Those who wielded swords of light. He aspired to become a Jedi. To once more step up and prove himself worthy.
He was tested and the council found that he did have very strong bonds with the force. However the council questioned the strong emotion he had. The emotion that drove him to show others how much he was worth and how he felt he had to prove himself to almost everyone around him. They saw it as an emotion that could become 'troublesome' later on in his training. His face grim he felt as though something had been crushed inside him. It didn't make him sad. He knew what they spoke of and he knew the only way for him to become a Jedi was to eliminate this emotion. By being accepted and taught the ways of the force. That would be achievement enough. Eradicating his need to prove himself. He was announced to be a Youngling and his training began.
Not knowing what to expect of the training he was reluctant. Once his training began he realised that there were two or three other species training with him, he was the only youngling of his species, he felt distant but that didn't effect how his training progressed. Which was extremely well. He advanced quickly with him having a natural bond with the force. However, he lacked great amounts of physical strength, although the force would make up for this in some area's it was still his natural disadvantage, he did counter it well with much greater speed however. As he progressed his knowledge and ties to the force increased. He was soon called to begin the construction of his own lightsaber. The only possession he had taken with him was a crystal also known as Durindfire which was used in his family. The crystal had special qualities and would give the lightsaber a silver hue. This crystal had been chosen by him when he was young, as it was customary for his family so that if one did become a Jedi, they had their crystal and a part of the construction was already done.
Over a month he fine tuned, built and meditated. Embueing the crystal with great power using the force. Once he was finished and returned to the Jedi Academy he held a single edged lightsaber he called 'Tranquility'. He understood the importance of a Jedi's lightsaber and the name had been chosen because he wanted to keep things tranquil, peaceful and undisturbed. This lightsaber would allow him to hold off any who thought otherwise. Ofcourse it soon came that he became a Padawan. Moving up from Youngling. This was a new step and he was happy insome sense to now have an official teacher to guide him and help him progress.
He trained and was guided by his teacher for six years having become a Padawan at the age of Ten. He encountered perils and learned. Gained experiance and began to understand just what it was to be a jedi. His teacher trained him well and allowed him to find hidden potential but alas the danger became too much and luck, although the Jedi didn't believe in such a thing ran out leading to his Teachers untimely death. The will of the Force? Malace became stranded at the Jedi Temple with no master and nobody to guide him. He was told to wait until another came along that could continue his training and with no other choice he had to stay at the Jedi Temple. Resorting to small sparring sessions and training by himself to keep him in top form.
