A light colored eyebrow arched into her forhead. There was a brief sideways glance at him as she relaxed into her chair and took command of the yoke. To some, she would appear far too relaxed. But as a smuggler this was a way of life. After doing so many runs, take off, landing, et cetera, et cetera was all but a natural instinct.
"Somewhat?" she questioned his wording, pushing Tantalance as the necessary pace toward the Nar Shadda planet. Other ships could be seen streaming toward the grayish planet. With a slight, descending whistle, her attention roamed to one of the computers at her disposal. From her relaxed state in the copilot's chair, she flicked up coordinates to guide her to one of the many Entertainment Zones on this side of the planet.
"Mister Florian," she said, mocking him gently. "I suppose the suffering somewhat always falls upon the unsuspecting passengers you could be transporting? You know, the ones who get a footlocker to the foot?" Melody was just much too relaxed and enjoying having a ship once more piloted by her hand. If felt good.
"Where the devil is your.. aha, there it is..." Such mutterings continued as they entered the atmosphere smoothly, mutterings that only made sense to Melody as she flitted about looking for the right controls. She adapted quickly, and the only sign of nervousness was the biting of her lower lip when she couldn't find something within the first three seconds.
Naturally, she brought them flowing with the larger ship traffic. There was only one incident when she had to jerk them upright because some fool decided it would be wise to dart across their trail. There was a short growl at her disgust for such flying, and even then she was easing them onto a landing pod. The usual hisses and rumbles reverberated in the ship. A gentle rolling motion bumped them from underneath as Melody set Tantalance down.
"So..." she started, "do I pass?" Her hands once more surrounded the controls, proceeding to calm the ship into her restful slumber. "Or did you fall asleep?"
