Her eyes snapped open quickly, glaring at the dim, peachy lit space she had fitted herself in. The crystal’s continued to give off the bit of light, adding a warm feeling to the cold cave. She was curled up with her knees almost to her chest. Her breath hung to her hands, her fingers stuck together in a steeple, stiff and upright. Her eyes caught the ragged shadows her fingers made but stared beyond them and beyond the gloominess and into some unknown region that existed only to Tesa.
She had given herself over to meditation, taking up on the opportunity. Hardly did she meditate. Tesa didn’t find much need to submerge herself in the Force, leaving her subconscious to guard her present surrounding. Sitting in the dished out crack in the wall, there was not much to do but to reflect on herself. And even meditate.
Tesa had recognized the Force signatures that swelled incredibly from outside this cave. One had his dimmed until just recently. Cassandra’s still appeared elusive to Tesa. Personally, it was slightly creepy. Tesa liked being touchy feely with Force signatures. She liked knowing where people who bent the Force to their wishes were should she ever encounter them. Not being able to sense it left her feeling exposed when the being or beings just suddenly appeared alarmingly in her sixth sense. It made her feel confused. And Tesa didn’t like being confused. It was a pet peeve that she couldn’t solve.
The second was one she had felt on the approach as she parted for this cave that should be Hades’ home. A young man and no doubt skilled. His presence leaked power, but who’s didn’t? And his demonstration of it riding on the currents of the Force were a considerable key lower compared the Cassandra. Tesa wasn’t sure if she should compare. What she had seen of Cassandra made her a freak in Tesa’s dictionary.
And of course, Master’s, who had given off a sudden urge. Not expecting anything from him, she had practically gotten hit in the nose with it. For a moment, it had stung her, causing a start of surprise. Scrambling, Tesa tried to get a reading on what the sudden surge was. Was he battling? Was he practicing, demonstrating? Was he in some kind of danger?
Again, she doubted her thinking as before. Xavier seemed almost invincible, but Tesa should know better. Any master could seem invincible, deceiving mortal life. She had seen master’s die. No matter what the apprentice believed, they should always take into account that they could die.
But as she desperately tried to understand, she realized the surge itself was not desperate. Tesa relaxed some, her eyes fluttering closed to contain the vacant void behind them. Her head tipped forward until her forehead was leaning on divot between her pressed knees.
Still curious and full of questions, Tesa snaked a vague thought through the Force, reaching for her Master. As telepathic as he was, Tesa had no doubts he wouldn’t assume a little mind knocking was something he imagined. Her inquisitive nature was behind her touch, wondering if situations beyond her were stable. If she didn’t get some kind of response, Tesa would be out of this cave before anyone could murmur “mouse droid”.

Malkio's grin didn't diminish in the slightest, "If you believe that I threaten you with useless wealth, you have much to learn. Money means nothing, it's only a tool through which one can persuade others. Even having knowledge itself is not always the best course, if one knows not how to apply it, for there is a difference between knowledge and wisdom."
Malkio chuckled again, "But as to my so-called 'lack luster' threats, whether or not you believe them is of no concern of mine, but you should also know that if I so wanted I could tear the knowledge that I want out of your mind, leaving you as nothing more than a shell of your former self."
He opened himself fully to the Force allowing Xavier to sense that every thing he had said thus far was true, "However, that is not my intention. For some reason the Dark Side of the Force has intertwined all of our fates. It's reasons for doing so are as of yet unknown to me, if you reach out you will sense it as well. If knowledge is what you desire than I am certain that there are things that I can teach you that you have yet to learn, certain as I am that you in fact can do the same with me. If you do not believe me I'm sure your seer here could verify it."
Malkio's eyes defocused for a moment, "There is another in the cave who is with you, is there not? A curious one it seems. I assume her to be an apprentice of yours. If you are perhaps interested in helping her train, than if you wish a demonstration could be arranged?"
He also sensed another being nearby in the frozen tundra, Malkio could feel his presence as well. He wondered if the same bond that had brought him here, had summoned this other individual as well.

Xavier stopped in mid stride, he could feel his apprentice reaching out to him. "Don't mind me.." he simply told her. He looked back to melkio. "Maybe we have got off on the wrong foot you and i" Xavier proclaimed using the force "I am Lord Libertas.." Xavier now stood in a regal fashion with his arms linked behind his back. "Lord of Deception... i have knowledge and i can apply it with relative ease.." Xavier smiled under his helmet, he walked back towards Melkio before stopping several feet away.
"Drain knowledge is a relatively useful and easy trait for people like you and i to learn and apply.. but then again you will also know it only works on fools and the weak minded to work succesfully" Xavier nodded as he spoke through the force. "Oh and i wasn't threatened if you were wondering.. i have met many dark side of the force users and its usually always the same" Xavier smiled once again before walking closer and stopping roughly 2 feet away from Melkio.
"you wish to forge an aliance, hmm? you wish me to introduce you to the sith lords? dogmatic and biased like the jedi..but yet you wish to meet them and some how defeat them.. very well.. i shall take you there, if you so desperatley wish to.. i have no desire to be sith.. i have a different view on the force which in many ways betters the sith and jedi alike." Xavier deep in thought looked to the floor the back to Melkio. "When they contact me, i can give you a location..you are on your own from there on end.. if they believe them to be holier then thou..atleast they should have the skills to back it up..call it a test, if you may."
Xavier removed his helmet to reveal his face, his eyes a piercing yellow, his skin cracking and turning grey from dark side corruption, the force oozed through Xavier freely. Xavier let his mind go for Melkio to sense his true raw power that the force confided in him. A wave of telepathic and telekenitic energy emerged violently from Xavier, like a form of shockwave, anything it came into contact with it would knock down or atleast make them stumble.
"Telepathy and Telekenisis is what i excell in comrade...gifted? honoured? infected? diseased? plagued? i am what i am and i have the power to make this whole planet go insane and commit suicide." Xavier took a few seconds to build the mental barriers back in his mind up, a gentle soothing surrounded the area as life went back to normal, He placed his helmet back on.
"If you want to test my apprentice's capabilities, be my guest.. she'll take away some knowledge and experience from it... thereis truth in your words.. we both could teach each other a copious amount of knowledge .. interesting" Xavier held out his hand in a gesture that he wished to shake Melkio's hand.

Malkio smiled, "I am simply call Malkio. I have no other titles with which to call myself beyond what others choose to call me."
As Xavier spoke of the Sith, Jedi and of alliances, Malkio found himself nodding along, "My plans are much larger than simply defeating the Sith and the Jedi, I wish to rule them all. My only quest is for power. Once I have conquered, I wish to merely be able to say that I had, to leave my own mark on history as it were," he shrugged, "Oh so often we die, without ever being known. An ignominious end to a brief existence."
He met Xavier's eye, "But that's all for the future, and we are still in the the present."
He raised his hand slightly to ward of the shockwave that Xavier released having already sensed the beginnings of it, looking at his face and seeing what the Dark Side corruption had done to it. Malkio himself was starting to feel the effects of it, as every morning his face seemed more and more aged. But his role in government forced him to keep his appearance the same, "Interesting, I have some skill in the telekinesis, but my true talents lie in telepathy, much like yourself, to the point of causing people to destroy themselves, and also another unique ability revolving around foresight. I believe it's what the Jedi refer to as seeing shatterpoints. It allows me to better manipulate events to do as I wish."
He reached forward and gripped Xavier's hand, "Very well then, peer into her mind and see what I can accomplish."
He reached out into the Force focusing his mind, it had been a while since he had used this ability on another Force-user. He limited it though, if he focused to hard he might accidentally kill her. He attempted to peer deep into Tesa's mind and find what she feared most, but instead chose to allow Tesa's own mind create it's own phantoms and nightmares to battle. Although this way he would be unable to know her worst fears, hopefully she would react well enough that Malkio wouldn't have to go all-out on her mind and use the technique Force Insanity as opposed to just Force Horror.
((Sorry, Squee for the mental rape. You are just too presenting a target.))

Shifting from her seated position, Cassandra sighed softly as she stepped towards the two of them and shook her head. Test not the sleeping Rancor, your arms are easy to remove she muttered to the two of them as they tried to plot against Tesa, planning to test her and actually starting to... And a Rancor Driven into madness is even worse she added softly as she moved between the two Dark Jedi Males.
If Cassandra had eyes, she would have been rolling them earlier, for between Xavier's Grand plans, and the Newcomer's horrid schemes, the testosterone around her was suffocating. She needed to be free of it, and soon, so passing them, she continued onward, away from the Two Dark Jedi, away from the Cave, headed back to the ship and a Thin cracker that sounded delicious right now. Mentally, she tried to bolster Tesa's defenses ever so slightly...If Cassandra were to be left alone with these two, she'd kill them in their sleep to escape the Masculinity of it all.

((Hahaha... don't worry about it, Halcyon. It's quite all right. I adapt. DUN, DUN, DUN! It's another long one. xD Probably not as good as my other, but still... Hah. And, because I'm tired, I struggled a little. Tesa has more fears. Bigger ones that what I put. I'll work on it. Enjoy. ))
Don’t mind him? Yeah right. Outwardly, Tesa gave a small snort at this. She’d mind all she wanted to, damn it. Still she withdrew from her attachment with just Xavier and expanded it just a little. She fluctuated her concentration, trying to see just how far she could see. What would happen if she focused on only one spot. She hardly did this, so, it would be fun to experiment.
However, this just told how intent she was to strengthen her powers. How focused she could be. What she sought for. How she went about achieving what she sought out. It was clear her intentions for the future followed along the lines of any dark apprentice: Gain power, strengthen it, and challenge the master on her own terms, when she believed up to the challenge. It was all to pitiful to realize previous masters were stupid enough to get themselves killed. Tesa knew she wasn’t ready to face the entire galaxy just yet. She would admit to her own weaknesses and give into a sign of honesty hardly known to her studies. Many apprentices not ready for the universe to come at them would deny that they weren’t ready. And die not five days later.
Heh. She just had too much time to think, reflect, organize, and plan. If Tesa was ever quiet in the presence of others it would soon be known of her evaluating something: whether it be the situation or whatever. Tesa made sure to cure mistakes pointed out to her. It was the only way to go. The cures may take time but Tesa was willing to remain with the problem until it was mended the way it should be.
After all, the reward will be priceless if she continued on the path she was on.
Cold pinpricked her skin. At first, Tesa didn’t understand the sense of danger she felt. Confusion. Damn it, why must confusion continue to pervade her? She thought she had this solved by now!
That’s what she got for thinking.
And now she could only be wondering what the frack was trying to sneak along the curves of her mind like a snake. A crystal snake. Tesa had to close off her experiments and the peering of her surroundings to settle into counteracting this little snake. This little pest that so happened to be accessing the darker areas of her mind. Or attempting to anyway. What could it possibly want with her mind? What in the universe could something be wanting from her?
A few moments more, she simply warded off the attack, setting a roadblock here and another one here, making that snake have to slither around the shut downs to earn its prize. She let it stay there, wanting to know where it had come from. Unawares of the snake, Tesa tethered onto the path to follow the trail back to its source.
Her eyes were back open in a glazed concentration. Her steepled fingers now drummed against one another. Tesa saw without considering the shadows her fingers played with her sight, dancing against the orange glow.
Following the path left by the Force snake, she was able to realize it as the newcomer. And in the while, he got what he had been reaching for.
Fears. Tesa didn’t know it. He wanted fears, doubts, concerns, anything that could be blackmailed against the apprentice. Tesa didn’t hoard many secret fears. She had doubts on the normal occasion and for the minor situations that arose. Like doubting one’s judgment because he was drunk. Little things like that. There were one or two big doubts. Tesa kept them under lock and key. Concerns were another. Tesa didn’t have concerns. She didn’t feel for any one thing. Apathy, if you would call it so. Tesa lacked concern and care.
That left fears. Tesa had some fears. A couple could be understandable. And another couple could be considered childish. Failure was one. She was getting the idea that when Xavier said failure, he meant death. This had only heightened Tesa’s little fear of failure. However, failure couldn’t be projected in the human mind unless they imagine it, and the imagination of failure could hardly come from the brain and be transferred into real life. Her determination not to fail almost overruled the fear.
Surprises. Tesa hated surprises. She liked knowing what was coming. But not everyone could peer into the future.
Corruption within her. What if a plan failed? It could mean failure. Revert to square one.
And then came some little stuff. Spiders were not a favorite of Tesa’s. Not since she was ten years old. It was maybe a child-like fear, but when you were plunged face to face with a giant, rancor sized spider, you would probably remember the snapping mandibles and running-for-your-life kind of deal. She may be close to adulthood but screw spiders. The galaxy could use less of them. Even now it was obvious she was quite jittery. What if an eight-legged freak just started to crawl over her hand?
And one of the last was amphibian species. The Selkath and so on. She didn’t know where this one originated from. But it was engrained into her mind to avoid those species. So far, Tesa couldn’t find a reason on her own to why this was so.
Hallucinations? Tesa’s subconscious was pulling her from the trance she was nearly trapped in. She blinked. And again. Shadows? What could possibly…
Tesa thought something brushed her ankle. Quickly, she moved it, staring hard at the area whatever had touched her should be in. Nothing. At least she thought so. Skittering sounds. Clacking. Hssssssssssss. Tesa scowled, her nervous system building for some reason. She thought she felt something again…
Delving quickly back into her meditations, the apprentice strove to find that snake that had been slithering in her mind. She knew who it belonged to, but what she didn’t know was why he was trying to have her imagination run wild. She found the attack, swelling her own strength behind it and with a mighty yank of the Force, threw him off his game. With snarl outwardly, she reached out for the man.
Whatever you want, you will not find it in my head. Come physically, you fool and coward. Challenge. Just after it was delivered, Tesa had no idea why she did such a thing. Back in the gave, she slapped her forehead with her own stupidity. She had to open her fat mouth and let everything of her mind pour into her judgment. Frack.
It was just as well that something itched its way along her wrist. With a cut off cry, that woke the beasts in the main cavern once again, Tesa waved her arm frantically to rid of the eight legged bug. It flew away easily. But to where, she wasn’t quite sure. Shuddering, Tesa huddled a little closer, drawing the violated arm closer to her body.
Stupid spiders.

Malkio was surprised at the force with which Tesa attempted to throw him out of her mind. Had Malkio not been expecting a reaction he would've been violently thrown out of her brain, and he was still damn near doing so anyway. Her defenses were quite strong for an apprentice. He was tempted to apply more "Force" as it were, boy in retrospect he thought that was a terrible pun, but he had better things to do. Doing that however could've quite possible killed her. Which he was quite sure would not have kept him in Xavier's good graces.
Well even with her reaction he had more than made his point, although after she threatened him he was considering screwing with her mind some more just on general principle but he refrained, the strength of her responses, despite his never having met her caused his respect for her, and Xavier by extension, to rise a few notches.
He spoke to her in her mind, "Don't worry in time, you can have your chance for revenge. But it'd be a pity for you to have to die so soon. I foresee a great future ahead of you if you."

{{OOC: short i know bu writersblockhit me today =( }}
Xavier stood perfectly still as he felt and saw the events with Malkio and Tesa unfold. He was no stranger to visions like these for he was unaturally gifted with telepathy and sees visions left right and centre. But he did find this shatterpoints ability intrigueing.
"very well" he spoke to malkio through the force "if you wish to join with us...." Xavier looked sharpely over his right shoulder "Korriban" He looked back to Malkio "if you wish to join with us you are welcome.. but i must leave... i have felt a tremer and must leave to investigate" Xavier nodded his head in respect before turning on the spot and heading to his ship. He reached out Tesa "we must depart...hurry my young apprentice"

i]What is this? ‘Don’t worry, be happy’ day?[/i] Tesa thought to herself. She drew from her meditations and exposure through bonds and came back to the cave. Completely, anyway.
Her bottom was sore. Or the tail bone anyway. She uncoiled briefly to find a more comfortable position, scooting toward a corner of the small area and leaning back and shoulder against rough stone. After clearing any cobwebs of course. Again, Tesa curled, pulling her cloak taut over her body and raising the hood. She buried her nose in her knees and let her breath swath in the core of her human ball. She kept her legs close to her with a secured gripping of arms around bent legs. Her toes squirmed in her boots at their own free will. They were numbing, and the soft material that coated her footwear felt weirder than usual. Her eyes were closed to the gentle glow of the crystals.
She didn’t sleep. Oh no. Sleep was the last on her mind. She was much too cold. As comforting as the crystals were, feeling to her any mood, she wouldn’t be lulled. She listened carefully to the scuffling of the beasts paws some meters below her position. They were investigating again, trying to find the source of the cry that had rang painfully in their sensitive ears. The new smell had become gratefully old to their noses. There was nothing else to guide their searching but on the almost deafening screech that had reverberated through the cavern.
"we must depart...hurry my young apprentice"
Tesa’s hand twitched. Violently. Enormously. She wanted to kick the stone wall. He sent her into a cave to freeze her ass off only to call her back in. So much for testing, Master! Puh! She only formed a “Yes, my lord” as a reply and seethed to herself. She gathered she should be glad for the sudden call in, but she couldn’t help but feel like she was being played and tricked with.
She groaned only lightly as she moved her slightly stiffened joints, unfurling from her position completely. She rocked her head over her feet to crawl for the crevice entrance on her stomach. Tesa lifted her head enough to peer toward the cavern’s floor, looking downward to check the position of the flesh eating creatures still attempting to rest. Good luck to them, she though.
They had already given up on their second investigation, the urge to sleep and recover greater than an unseen threat to their home, their mates, and perhaps even young. Unless they were the kind of creatures that ate their young.
Tesa gathered her legs beneath her body and gave a leap out of the crevice, clearing the narrow sides when she turned her body sideways. It was a large leap but a small one to carry her only a limited four or five meters from the wall. She didn’t want it raining rocks to disrupt the animals for a third time. She brought her legs from behind to beneath her body again, landing with knees bent and arms to her sides and palms extended, remaining balanced. Her feet gave only a slight shuffling sounds, not enough to alert the creatures. Tesa grinned at even her feline-like performance although no one was around to see it. Hugging the wall and trusting in her cloak, Tesa ringed around the creatures and covered the narrow passageway out of the cave at a brisk walk, feet avoiding the pebbles as before.
A blast of cold wind slapped at her the immediate instant she exposed herself from the cavern. A shiver traveled her spine and made her cloak ripple with the reaction. The burst of wind died and Tesa started at a quick trot. With the fog still settling heavily and the way her cloak was, the apprentice seemed to materialize from thin air. It continued to play tricks on the eye as she seemed to appear and disappear as she quickly covered distance between her and Xavier.
At the bottom of the ramp, she shot Malkio a swift glance. Teas kept her illusion of mystery. Shadows were displaced along her face beneath the cowl of her hood. Now that was a still and the fog wasn’t as thick, her form had somewhat of a more definite shape. Her paled brown eyes stared at him for one hard moment before retreating up the ramp after Xavier, too many thoughts and words unspoken.

Xavier walked up the ramp, snow andice had accumalated on his armour, keeping his regal pose he stopped at the top of the ramp and looked to malkio givng him a slight nod before pushing the button to raise the ramp.
"Start up the engines.."He commanded through the force, an almost echo sound went around the ship as he commanded to cassandra and tesa "We shant be coming back any time soon" Xavier started to walk with a heavy step towards the cockpit. as he sat in the pilots seat he removed his helmet "It is quiet in space.. one of the only places were the thoughts of an entire world do not plague my mind" Xavier looked to the controls as the ship started to rumble. "i apologise Tesa from taking you away from your task..it was not intentional... i felt a disturbance on Korriban and we must investigate.... did you find any crystals?" Xavier smiled to himself slightly as the ship started to take off.
{{sorry for the blunt ending, but xavier has a lot to do before the plot continues.. halycon, if you wish to follow we are headed to korriban and the tornado of souls thread.. got a few people to meet and due to the time differances it would probably take a week to get there lol}}
