The small ship moves silently through the vacuum of space. The autopilot was engaged so that the two passengers could occupy their time more productively as they moved at hyper speed across the galaxy. Their route was a well guarded secret among the Jedi to a planet well hidden from those outside of the Order. Ilum, the planet many Jedi traveled to in order to construct the tool that was as famous as their title, a lightsaber. It was an important step in the training of a padawan. So much could be learned from the patience and attention to detail that was necessary in the construction of a proper blade.
Meira remembered when her uncle had brought her to Ilum. She had been excited, nervous, and eager. But finding the crystal had taught her patience. There were many, but Evos had advised her to listen to the Force and allow it to guide her to one that was right for her. It had taken time. Meira, as quiet and patient as she was, had struggled to overcome her excitement and eagerness to create her first lightsaber. But in the end, the patience had paid off. Her color crystal was not as common as the emerald one her uncle used. But it belonged to her, and she to it. That was the mystery of the connection a Jedi had to their lightsaber. So carefully meditated on, the crystal connected the lightsaber to the Jedi on a deep level, allowing the blade’s movements to be fluid and precise in the Jedi’s hands.
Meira set her lightsaber on the table that was between herself and her new padawan, Arichi. The metal was smooth, the design simple. The activation switch was small and high up on the hilt, to allow room for Meira’s hands to move on the hilt. Her preferred style, Soresu, required quick, precise movements. The blade was often spun and twirled as she used the defensive technique. To aid in this, the hilt was not embellished, nor did parts protrude. It could be held at almost any angle, from almost any part, allowing freedom of movement.
The construction of a lightsaber is not to be taken lightly. Meira said, echoing the words her late uncle had once said to her. But you should also try not to be too serious about it. Keep your mind open to the Force so that it may guide you. Don’t resist. Don’t try to control it, but give yourself to its will and you can’t go wrong.
Tell me. I am sure you have observed some of the styles. Is there one you feel drawn to? This would be important if Arichi wished to make a lightsaber that fit his style. Of course, a lightsaber could always be modified as the Jedi grew and changed. But reflection before action was a wise choice when possible, and Meira was a firm believer in this.

The trip out into the Galaxy, Arichi's first that he would be able to remember... It was amazing. As Meira had piloted the ship away from the Temple and into Coruscant space, Arichi had seen ( For the first time, Thanks to the City-Planet's many artificial lights) the stars themselves, glimmering in space above them as they exited the atmosphere. It was enough to take the Young Chiss' Breath from his lungs, his mind unable to comprehend the number of Stars, the Number of Planets and the massive number of people that existed out in the Galaxy. Amazing he breathed, unable to speak any louder.
After two weeks of Travel, the stars were now naught but Lines outside the ship as the Two Jedi traveled through space, hurtling past systems in the blink of an eye, all to travel to one of the most Treasured secrets of the Jedi, the planet Ilum. Meditation broke the Monotony of space travel, and as they approached the Planet, Jon'arichi'kotokk opened his crimson-hued eyes and blinked several times, the Artificial air in the cabin of the ship harsh and reprocessed. As the glow of the Padawan's eyes dulled slightly, he sat up straighter in his chair, looking at his master, his teacher and the person who, he knew, had saved him from a life in the Agro-corps, as she Sat before him, Revealing her Saber and Setting it on the Table. Is something wrong Master? he asked, mindful of their positions and of the Respect that he owed her.
Even as he spoke, his eyes looked over the Hilt of His Master's blade, the tool that represented the entirety of the Jedi order, that represented the Time and Effort put into peace itself. Then he heard her start to speak.
His eyes snapping back up, his attention now Fully on Meira, Arichi listened to her words, allowing them to sink into his mind as he considered the future that lay in his Immediate path. He knew that his master was right, that was what everything in the archives had told him about construction as well, yet there was always something that had been missing in the records, and here it was now.
Even as he listened, tried to comprehend Meira's words, the emotions in them were what made the Instructions ring truer then any Written account, the misty sound in her voice as she told him how to do what she had once done, how to construct the Blade that she used to Keep peace through the Galaxy...it was an unique experience.
As Arichi listened, it seemed that Meira had wanted to ask his input, which indeed she had done, asking him of the Styles that he seemed drawn to, causing him to close his eyes and think, even as he replied. I have Observed the Blademaster in demonstration, and watched the Masters themselves as they taught the Pupils at the Academy he said, opening his eyes and looking directly at his teacher. And there was a Style that I always seemed to Prefer, a Form that seemed to reach out to me. As a Jedi, I believe that where pain exists, Justice is an unattainable goal, as the Thirst for vengeance is as Virulent as a Plague... his words stopped. Where before, his speech was muddled slightly, now he seemed at a loss for words... Form...Zero seems the best route if possible Master...To stop the Cycle before it starts
Looking to Meira, Arichi then looked down, sure that the answer wasn't what she had been expecting, or even wanting.

Throughout the years, Meira had seen her share of the galaxy. There were others out there who had seen far more systems than she, of course, but Meira had a good number of them under her belt. Perhaps she had taken it for granted. She saw in her padawan's crimson eyes the glow of wonder as they left Coruscant. She had once stared with the same amazement. It was strange, but it seemed that his every new experience recalled her own in her mind. He was doing wonders for her memory. After her brief explanation of building a lightsaber, she had asked if Arichi felt drawn to a particular style. His response had been interesting. As a padawan, Meira had no actually chosen the style she used today. Her uncle had guessed at which would suit her, and had been right. She had since branched out a little, and had started training in Shien/Djem So as well as Soresu. But it was form three that she prefered and used best. But she knew the eagerness of padawans. She remembered many of her fellows chatting endlessly when they were younglings of the styles they hoped to one day learn. Arichi's honesty with himself was commendable. After a moment of thinking, Meira nodded. Shii-Cho was always a good place to start. With a smile, she spoke. Of course. If you wish to continue with Shii-Cho, I can most definitely help you with that. And as it is the basis for all the other forms, you will be well equiped if you should choose to study another in the future.Meira reached out her hand, palm facing outward and her fingers together. Her lightsaber lifted slowly off the table and hung in the air at eye level. Let's get a closer look at the parts. She said as she flexed her fingers outward. The outer layer of metal detatched in the separate pieces, revealing the the wiring, components, and the two crystals inside. Slowly, the casing was lowered to the table as the components were deconstructed, all separating so that each could be seen individually. Those too were lowered onto the table. The lightsaber was now fully disassembled. Point out and name the most important components please. She said. ((Reference links: general info on lightsabers and A cutaway image of a lightsaber))

When Meira had taken his response with not only a sense of seriousness, but had actually deigned to allow him his own choice as the options came for his Training, Arichi had been...astounded. At the academy, the Younglings, training with their practice sabers, had been told that although Shii-Cho was a requirement, that it would also be a base for the other learning's that they would Have to do as Padawan Learners. Arichi had never liked that idea, in fact, he had never really liked all of the styles, with the Exception of form One, they always seemed to be either overly Violent, or Self centered. Looking to his master, before she had disassembled her saber, he spoke.
Master he said, blinking quickly, What if... I do not desire to master any of the Conventional Styles that exist? Shii-cho is the base for the others, but could it not be a base for a Newer style? As Meira continued to move, however, he silenced himself, watching as she used the Force to pull her own saber into it's component parts, laying them out on the table that they sat at gingerly, as not to damage them.
When his Master had finally set the components upon the Table and Asked Arichi to point out the Two most important parts, Arichi's mouth curled into a thoughtful grimace. The question was a difficult one, one that had many layers in itself. Without one of the parts, the saber would not work properly, or at all. However, if the Question was not a literal one, but rather one designed to test him, a literal answer would not be sufficient. Looking up, seeing Meira's face before him, Arichi sighed. Without the Power source, the Saber would not work, however, without the main Crystal, the one used to Focus the blade, a Lightsaber would destroy itself and the user. Pausing in speech, he looked back to the Parts on the table. However he said, looking back to Meira, Without the Trigger that sets the pieces into action, a Saber would be constantly on, a tool of Destruction rather then one of peace...
Stopping, he looked to his Master, wanting her input before he spoke again

Meira smiled as Arichi did what she expected him to. He overanalyzed the question. His answers, however, were good ones. She nodded as he stated the importance of the parts he pointed out. He then paused, looking back to her and her smile continued.
It's not a trick question. She said simply. I just want to know that you understand what the components do. Pointing to the crystals, she continued. These here are the core, the heart of the lightsaber. They are the reason for our journey to Ilum. The crystals are what make a lightsaber unique and personal, even more so than the crafting of the hilt. This is because the crystal that you put into your lightsaber will be connected to you through the Force. All of these other parts... Her hand swept over the pieces laid out on the table. ... are just parts. They are important in the function of the lightsaber, yes. But they are not connected to you as the crystals are.
Miera continued to instruct Arichi on the elements of building a lightsaber, going through the process slowly, using her deconstructed lightsaber as an example. The slow reconstruction allowed enough time for Arichi to see how the parts worked together, how they fit, and how they functioned.
As if on cue, an indicator tone sounded from the cockpit just as the final parts of the outercasing were put into place. Ah, we're here. Meira said with a smile. Standing up, she clipped the lightsaber to the belt on her hip and indicated for Arichi to follow her.
In the cockpit, Meira strapped herself into the pilot seat, gesturing for Arichi to take the seat next to her to get a good view as they came in to land. She took the ship off of auto pilot and took the controls in her hand. The small ship followed down along the tragectory as Meira guided it through the atmosphere. Within a few minutes, the landing gear touched down with a soft thump and Meira was powering the ship down. Through the glass, the entrance to the crystal cavern, long ago converted into a temple, could be seen through the snow and wind. After going through the final checks, Meira stood and moved back to the main hold.
Here, she dawned a thick robe and tossed one to Arichi. Ready? She asked? Her smile and the twinkle in her eye indicated her excitement. The crystal temple was a beautiful place to behold and she was happy to once again walk inside of it.

Feeling Disappointed with himself, Arichi fell into silence as Meira corrected his Err in judgment about the Question. As she Explained the Importance of the Crystal, the youthful Chiss sat Stock-still, listening to the words, even though he had heard many of the same things before. Even though he had been wrong in the sense that she had meant, the wisdom of her words was, in all aspects, correct.
Inhaling deeply as his Master finished reconstructing the Saber's many parts and components into a working blade, Arichi stored the images in his mind, keeping each step in his memory and allowing her to finish, the alert tone informing them of their imminent arrival. As Arichi followed Meira into the Cockpit of the ship, he pondered over the words that she had spoke to him, turning them over in his mind as he examined them as best as he could. They made perfect sense.
When Meira directed him to a seat beside hers, the Padawan took it, strapping himself in in silence, his eyes flicking from his Master, then to the Viewport, as though he were anticipating disaster. However, it seemed that Meira was an Excellently skilled pilot, and as they landed safely, the gentle thud that indicated their landing was somewhat of a comfort to Arichi, although the cold winds outside brought up feelings within his soul that were comforting.
Even as Meira stood and moved to the rear of the Hold, towards the Hatchway that led outside, Arichi sat for a minute more, taking in the sight that lay on the otherside of the Clear viewport on the front of the ship. He may not have known it, but the view outside stirred primordial instincts within him, reminded him of his Race's home, a place that he had never known...
Shaking his head clear, Arichi stood, having unstrapped himself Carefully. Running a hand through his midnight-black hair, short cut to the point that he was unable to wear the Traditional braid of a padawan, he swallowed. Moving with Sure feet, he followed Meira's path, back towards the hatch, and when she spoke, he replied. Yes master he whispered, not sure if he were truly ready to face the Caverns hidden by snow. Unsure of whether he'd be called to any of the particular crystals.
Arichi was Worried.

Before lowering the ramp, Meira handed a thick cloak to Arichi. He would need it for their quick walk across the planet's surface. Her hand then deftly found the switch to lower the ramp, and she heard her padawan's response just barely over the sound. She had been facing away, but that didn't stop her senses from detecting Arichi's feelings. She paused as the ramp settled on the ground, the wind blowing gusts of snow over the end. She turned, her emerald eyes connecting with Arichi's crimson ones.
Arichi, I sense your worry, and I understand it, I think. The finding of a crystal is an important stage in a young Jedi's journey. Her hand reached out and rested on his shoulder. But it is not the most important part of a Jedi. The crystal doesn not determine who you are, or what you become, it is merely a tool to aid you in the discovery of that path. You are, and forever will be, the master of your destiny. The Force calls us along the path, but we must choose to follow. Her eyes continued to stay connected with his, conveying her sense of calm and reassurance. She knew how it felt to worry, and had been very similar to Arichi for a great deal of her own years as a padawan. Confidence is a hard skill to learn sometimes. But if you trust in the Force, and especially in yourself, it will come.
With that, she turned and led the way down the ramp. She set a quick pace as they began to move across the cold surface. There was no reason to remain too long in the cold. But she also used the time as an opportunity.
Arichi. She said, raising her voice slightly so that she could be heard over the wind. I want you to reach out to the Force. You will find that meditating on it will help to shield against the cold. Allow the Force to catalyze the heat your body creates, making it stronger and warmer. Look inward and bring it out.
This had been a trick her uncle had taught her on Mygeeto. It wasn't meant for long term use, but their short trek was a perfect chance for practice.

With a blink, Arichi looked at the cloak that Meira, his master, had handed him. The boy had never known cold, in fact, on the City-planet of Coruscant, he often sweated when other Younglings had Felt just fine. Tucking the covering over his shoulders, he shrugged in the fabric, his skin already tingling with the heat as well as the Excitement that Arichi felt.
As the Ramp Decended, exposing the frigid winds outside of the ship, Arichi's eyes seemed to glitter even brighter then usual as Meira's connected with his, her Celadon eyes meeting his Carmine ones as she spoke, addressing his worries correctly, her words intending to soothe his fears... As she spoke, a thought came unbidden into his mind, his Stern father's Voice coming through the Fogs of time and Memory You must not Fear, Fear is the Mind Killer, I will face my fear, I will permit it to pass over me and through me, Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.. Blinking and looking away from Meira, Arichi realized that the words had been whispered under his breath as he had listened to his Master's words. Looking back at her, his back straightened and he Nodded.
I will not fear Master he said, smiling, for I am with You, and the Force is With us both here
As the Two of them Descended the ramp finally, into the bitter winds, Arichi took a breath, tasted the Crystal snow on his tongue, Sharp and Clean, as though it were perfect. Indeed, he felt...right... being here, on this planet. It was as though the Biting, icy chill of Ilum called out to his Soul, called him forward, toward the Cavern-temple. He heard Meira's voice over the wind again, and stored the Information for later if he needed it, but at the moment, he felt...entranced.
I can feel it he muttered to himself, There is a Crystal here, one that is for me...and we shall be joined in chasing Justice he said, his breath coming out as a Crystal fog that was swept away by the winds themselves.

After giving her instruction on how to bulster inner warmth, Meira had cast her senses out toward her padawan to detect if he was having difficulty. On the contrary. Arichi was producing a considerable amount of heat within his body, but she detected no effort at all. An eyebrow raised, but she said nothing. This was obviously a trait of his species, one that she envied. Meira herself was not strong against the cold. It invaded her easily, and holding it at bay took effort.
But soon, the two reached the Crystal Temple, the cave in which Arichi might find a crystal that would make his lightsaber as unique as he was. Once inside, Meira shook off the snow that still clung to her robe. Though still cold, the cave provided shelter against the wind outside, and so it felt much warmer. Lowering her hood, the full size of the cave came into view. Cavernous was an appropriate word, for obvious reasons. The tops of the cave soared overhead, and the light that filtered through caught and danced on the crystals, which were abundant in the walls and floors. Her eyes took in the scope of the place before turning to Arichi.
Come with me. She said, turning to lead into the main chamber. Once at the center, she indicated to a place on the ground. This is the same place where I sat as I meditated and searched for the crystal that resides in my lightsaber. Take a seat, and we will begin. Meira sat herself down so that she would be facing Arichi when he took his seat, her legs crossed. The cave was large and stretched deep into the mountains. Meira would help to magnify Arichi's senses as he searched for his crystal.

Following closely to Meira, Arichi followed her, careful not to lose track of his Master in the blustery winds that stood between them and the Temple. When they Finally reached the Temple doors, opened and Entered the caverns, his breath was taken away. While, behind him, Meira shook the chilly crystals of water from her cloak and person, Arichi simply continued, further back into the cave, his hands bringing his hood down so that he could experience the cavern even better.
When he heard Meira's voice, the Young Chiss Padawan turned, looking back at his Master, then following her into the Even-Grander Main chamber, swallowing his fears and holding his head high as she Directed him to the Shallow, Slightly-worn (From generations of Jedi no doubt) spot that She had pointed hi towards. Sitting in silence, the Chiss crossed his legs, inhaling deeply as he closed his eyes and Awaited her further commands, barely able to hold himself back

As Arichi took his seat, Meira closed her eyes and opened herself to the Force, allowing it to enter her, fill her, and flow through her. After a few deep breaths, she was ready. With eyes still closed, she began her instructions.
Close your eyes and breathe deeply. Let your thoughts drift away. Forget your past, look not to the future, but embrace the moment. Allow your fears and worries to slip away as the Force flows through you. Let go of your hopes and anticipation. Give yourself freely, and entirely to the will of the Force.
Meira allowed her student time to take in her words and to apply her instructions. When she could sense that he had fully let go of his sense of control, she continued.
You will feel the Force expanding your senses. You will feel them surge in strength and accuracy. The Force aids you, and so do I. Allow yourself to drift on the currents of the Force. Fear not, you are safe. You may feel as if you are moving. Fear not, you are safe. You may even feel as if you are seeing. These images might be blurred or dark, or they might be crystal clear. Fear not, you are safe. Allow the Force to bring to you what it will.
Meira continued to explain the possiblities of how the Force might guide her padawan. She did not want him to expect one way more than another, and so she did not linger too long on any explanation. But would instead simply explain and then move on. When she was done, she continued to aid in his meditation in silence.
There was nothing more that she could do to help him. She had brought him here, she had guided his first steps, but as with all things in the Force, he would have to find his own way. But Meira was confident in her Padawan, and she was patient. He would have as much time as he needed.

As the Padawan sat, his eyes closed and his ears opened, listening to Meira's every word, hanging onto them as though there were the directions given to show a man to water in the desert. As she told him to Release his sense of Self, his Fears, doubts and worries to the Force itself, he inhaled deeply, a brief Flash of concern flashing through him. Quelling the unsettling feeling quickly, Jon'arichi'kotokk exhaled, envisioning all of his mortal concerns leaving him in that breath, and Guided by her words, his eyes opened, his torso Falling slack as he entered a Meditative Trance.
Though Arichi could still hear Meira's voice, he wasn't sure that he wanted to, though he knew that he needed to, so he allowed the words to pierce his mind, into his conscious itself as it expanded beyond his usual senses. Inside of this cavern, he could feel the Crystals as they Grew, as they expanded and built themselves up.
Outside of his mind, Arichi was unaware as time passed, a moment, a minute, a Day, or even a month, it didn't seem like it mattered to him, swept up in the power of this Cavern, through which the Force itself seemed to Ebb and Flow, like some Tide in the Sea. Yet, the Crystals themselves seemed to beat longingly, like the sound of his own heart in his breast, and as his mind flowed further and further back, carried on a current of the Force, he heard Several of the beats louder, more distinct then others.
It was as though the rear of the Cave were calling out to him on an intimate level.
While in his Trance, Arichi's unique eyes, usually glowing red, seemed to dim as he breathed less, short, soft breaths that sustained him while he meditated, after nearly an hour, the reddish, chemical glow that usually filled his eyes was now dull, allowing anyone who cared to look to see his eyes unhidden, the irises a deep, rich brown that echoed the depths of his trance...then slowly, the eyelids closed over them. In his own mind, Arichi was moving to the back of the cave, each step seeming to take no time at all, yet in reality, he had soon been sitting on the floor for several hours without moving.
When he opened his eyes again, taking a deep breath, Arichi was back, looking from one side to another, finally settling on Meira's face, his eyes glowing crimson once more. I...I have seen where I must go he stated softly, his voice croaking from a lack of moisture... However...I have a Question for you Master... Standing, the Chiss looked towards the small crack in the wall that would take him where he needed to go.
Is it common for Two crystals to call me at once? he asked her, looking concerned

Meira did not follow her student as he journeyed within the Force. She merely kept herself open so that he might use her strength. She did, however, sense his return to consciousness, and so too slowly brought herself back to the physical present. Her eyes remained closed, however, as Arichi stated that he knew where to go. When he mentioned a question, Meira's eyes opened to give him her full attention.
It is not a matter of what is common, Arichi. It is a matter of what the Force says to you. If two crystals call, then it is the will of the Force, and it is right. No Jedi is common. Though we all share many similarities, we are all unique in the Force. Go now. I will wait here.
Meira gave no explanation as to why she would not come with Arichi. She expected that he would understand that this was a journey that he would take alone. It was not dangerous, but her presence might influence his actions, and she would not allow that to happen. She closed her eyes again, returning to the peaceful meditation on the Force. Should he have more questions, or need help, she would be here. But she would rather he try on his own first. Confidence would be his reward.

After his Question was answered, Arichi smiled softly, then bowed toward Meira, backing away from her as she Commanded him to Go and retrieve the Crystals that had called out to him. Turning from her, the Young Chiss moved into the Central Cavern, the one that led the deepest into the mountain itself.
Arichi hadn't expected to have his hand held the entire way through the Saber-Building process, so his being sent alone came as no surprise to him at this point and as he walked through the Caverns, treading deeper and deeper into the mountain, he still heard the beckoning heartbeat of the twin crystals that had called out to him.
As he ventured deeper and deeper, the temperature in the Caves seemed to increase, his breath no longer coming out as frosted steam. Approaching a Turn in the Cavern's walls, Arichi Stopped, Looking to the Other sides of the Wall and Noting the Crack that he had seen in the Force. Rimmed with Sharp crystals, and Tiny in comparison to the other passageways, he knew that this was it...where he was meant to go.
Getting low to the floor, Arichi Forced himself into the Crack, exhaling sharply to make himself feel smaller, as though that would help... Five more pounds on his small frame and The Padawan would not have fit through it. It took him over half an hour to Slide himself through the small tunnel, Ripping his clothes, Scratching his skin and leaving flecks of his blood on the walls, but as he Finished his Crawling, he could see the soft-glowing purple that awaited him as he finally slid out of the cold embrace of the rocky crack.
Indeed, before him they grew, glowing softly as though power coursed through him, the thumping of their unnatural heartbeat-like pulsing...one that he knew would end as soon as he harvested them, cutting them from the Force and Requiring him to recharge them. Taking a Deep Breath, Arichi Pulled a small Pick from his Clothing where it had been hidden and gently tapped around the bottom of first one crystal, and then the next, gently pulling them from their base and cupping them in his hand.
Putting the Crystals into a Pouch around his neck, Arichi Tucked the pouch under his Tunic, holding it close to his body as he turned around in the small chamber and began the Long Crawl back to the main Tunnels.
After nearly Two hours of Hiking and Crawling, the Chiss Padawan Finally emerged back into the Main Chamber, where Meira sat, Meditating. Swallowing, in order to wet his dried throat, he stood tall and proud, scratched, his clothes ripped by Crystals and stone. When he finally spoke, he spoke with pride, his guttural voice soft.
I...Have returned successfully Master he said, reaching into the small pouch and retrieving the twin Crystals, holding them in his hand gingerly, like the treasures that they were

Meira didn't open her eyes, but a wide smile stretched across her face when Arichi spoke. She let a few moments pass before turnin her gaze on the boy. Still seated, she nodded, shoing her satisfaction. She then gestured for him to again take a seat where he had been a few hours ago. She took her small canteen of water from her utility belt and offered it to him. And then once he was settled, she spoke.
Well done, Arichi. That was likely the hardest part of this process. She said, looking over his tattered robes with a hint of laughter in her voice. Now. Take the crystals and hold them like this. She modeled the pose for him by placing her hands at heart level, palms facing up with one on top of the other. Relax your shoulders and we can begin.
Meira continued to instruct Arichi on the process of meditating over the crystals and about how this would connect them to himself. After some time, her voice fell silent and she once again fell into her own meditation so as not to disturb Arichi.

Taking the a sip from the canteen, gratefully, Arichi felt the cool liquid flow over his Burnt, Raw-feeling throat, and sighed softly as he set the Canteen back down and Sat, back in the hollow that Meira had pointed him to once before. Taking the Crystals into his hand, one in each, he crossed his legs and began to concentrate, listening to Meira's voice and that alone, following her instructions.
As he relaxed his body, allowing the Force to flow through him and into the Crystals, charging them with his energy while His Master continued to talk to him, helping along this task, which even he knew would likely take more then one day at his level, especially with two crystals.
Settling his body slightly, Arichi concentrated on the Crystals alone as Meira's voice faded, her speech ending as he sat, meditating and focusing. There was no need for Food, no need for water...The Force provided all that Arichi needed
How much time passed... He didn't know, however, when Arichi had finally opened his eyes, he felt tired, drained of energy, yet more alive then ever. He could feel the Force radiating from the Crystals in his hands, and as he pulled his palms apart to look at them, they seemed to glow softly, flickering against his deep blue skin.
How...How long was I meditating for? he asked, his voice soft, yet still echoing through the caverns.

Meira had not meditated the entire time as her apprentice had. When she was sure he had fallen deep into the currents of the Force, she had awakened herself to keep watch over him. The first time meditating over a lightsaber crystal could be a challenge, and Arichi had two in his hand. He would need someone keeping a close eye on him.
And so as the days passed, Meira slipped into a routine of bringing supplies from the ship and into the cavern. She had set up a work bench along a wall, had brought in some portable heaters, and two plain cots. The area now looked quite a bit like a camp site. Each day, she would meditate as well, checking that her padawan was on the right track. But he never needed any guidance beyond her initial instruction. Of this, Meira was quite proud. The Force had brought her a wise boy indeed.
Finally, after ten days, Arichi stirred. Meira had sensed that he'd be finished, and so was just finished pouring a bowl of hot soup when she heard his voice. She set the steaming bowl down on a table and brought up a chair. She then walked over to Arichi and took a knee. You have been meditating for ten days, Arichi. You must be hungry. Come, I've made you some soup.
Meira extended her hand to help him up. Though the Force sustained him during his meditation, his return to the physical world would see him somewhat weak. But the soup would be filling, and easy on his stomach. He would feel physically normal in no time.

Looking around at the Improvised campsite, Arichi was Surprised, he hadn't known that there had been that many things inside of the Ship that they had took to Ilum, nor did he Expect Meira to have braved the frigid air outside the caverns to go and Retrieve it all. Least of all, he was astonished by the Soup, yet another thing that he had no expectations of being handed.
Raising a small spoonful of the steaming liquid to his lips, the young, blue, Padawan blew on it, trying to cool it some, an irony, he reflected later, considering how cold it was on this planet. However, when the liquid passed through his lips, it didn't matter how ironic the situation was... the Soup was Delicious! It wasn't long before he had finished the bowl, the warming liquid satiating his appetite and warming his entire body, as though someone had placed a heating coil in his stomach.
Setting the bowl down on the Table that Meira had erected, Arichi's crimson eyes scanned back over the campsite, noting the workbench with it's box of Tools and Gadgets, the heaters and cots as well. Turning back to Meira, Arichi looked concerned. You did all this work on your own he stated, not even asking, for who else would have assisted her? I should have helped you with setting up before meditating over the Crystals... I am sorry

Meira smiled as she watched Arichi eat his soup with vigor. An appetite was a good sign, and Arichi's was a healthy one. She was pleased to know that he could bounce back so quickly. It was an indication of youth, of course, but it was something that he would carry with him as he aged. She herself was still quick to recover, and didn't see that changing for many years to come.
When Arichi spoke, she laughed and shook her head. Nonsense. She said, waving off his comment. If I had needed help, we would have done it before. You must remember Arichi, though it is your duty to help and serve me, it is also my duty to do the same for you. It was more important for you to meditate on those crystals. Lifting things is not the education I am charged with providing to you. More soup? She asked, but didn't wait for the boy to respond, she refilled his bowl and filled one for herself as well.
Now, we will be staying here while you work on contructing your lightsaber. I've got datapads, tools, and components for you. Hopefully you will have all that you need. Meira then tucked in to her own food, leaving the conversation open should Arichi have more questions or comments to discuss.

Taking His master's words in stride, Arichi took slow sips, savoring this bowl of the soup in silence. Looking up after a Moment, he tilted his head as he spoke, unsure as to what he was asking. How do I know what to make my Saber's hilt look like? he asked Meira
{ooc: short post, But I'm fishing here... How do you want to handle the Building process? Want me to Kinda skip time a little in a post and Say "Bam, done"?}
