Question: Droid as a character

I have noticed that there is a thread specifically designed for people who wish to submit applications for droids. However, that thread strikes me more as something for people who already have player characters, and wish to get a droid for said character.

If I wished to play a droid as my primary character, would I submit an application in the actual character application forum (eg. Empire, Republic, Mandalorian, Fringe)? I think that would make more sense than submitting an application for a regular droid, since it would provide far more information about my character.

if you want to make a custom droid, then post your appliaction in fringe/militarty/civilian (dependant on what you want the droid to be)... if you place the application for your droid in the droids section, it will mean every one can purchase that particular style of droid and effectively ruin the originality of yours.

i thought this would of been pretty obvious.

Well, forgive me for not wanting to get called out on making a mistake when submitting my first character. I know that answering questions of all the new members must get tedious at times, but I certainly didn't expect a remark that could be interpreted as degrading towards someone who hasn't had the time to become familliar with which threads are for what. Thanks for answering my question in any case. I'll be sure not to overlook the obvious before asking any more questions.

Droid section is for droid classes not unique or character droids they go in the respective categories as Iota so...eloquently said.
