Bio: Jak was born in Coruscant to a mother and father. He also had a younger brother,Tak. Tak was 4 years older than Jak,but when Jak turned 4 and Tak turned 8,they began to share a bond. Tak would always find something for them to play with and they would always have a grand time together. Jak loved his brother,and tak loved him.

When Jak turned 6 and tak was 10 he began to see his brother less and less. Jak had no clue that his brother had already began his jedi training. His parents decided it was best for Jak to learn this from his brother. Jak started to drift less close to his brother each day that he did not see him.

When Jak turned 7 and tak was 11,tak was finally able to go back to his brother to tell him. Tak told him about how he was almost ready to find a jedi knight to be his master. Jak could not believe this and began to cry. Later that day he decided to become a Jedi like his brother. He began to train constantly at the temple.

After 2 years when tak had found his master and Jak was training,tak found Jak. Tak told Jak about how he had found his master and was ready to take the next step in training, Jak could not believe the words coming out of his brother's mouth. Jak was training so that he could fight alongside his brother,but Tak was already going to leave with his master to become even better. Jak was furious.

Tak tried to explain to his brother he could not wait any longer,because he was 13 and did not want to get a low rank. Jak pleaded with his brother,but Tak had,had enough. Tak used the force and pushed his brother to the ground. Jak got up and,for the first time,used the force on his brother,smashing him in to a wall. Tak was getting ready to fight Jak,when his master came and broke up the fight. Tak swore that if he saw Jak again,he would kill him. Jak used this anger to train until he was 12,but got a message saying that his brother was killed during a mission. Jak swore that he would get better so that he could do what his brother could not,become a Guardian.

Hey there jay, just thought i'd give you a potentially helpful little overview, remember, what i say doesn't go due to me being a reg. member but you should still try and follow through seein as you're gonna be my padawan XD jkjk...but seriously. I can't really say anything bad so far except that your character probably wouldn't know juyo, and also, i'm not sure how much ataru you'd be able to get away with but hey, i could be just thinking it's a bit too much for a 12 year old. That's about all i gots to say for now.....oh and earth isn't in the star wars universe so i'd suggest you switch that to...coruscant or some other planet like that k? XD

typically a young padawan would usually learn soresu/Djem-so/niman oince they are comfortable with Shii-cho.

Typo note, you introduce Tak as Jak's younger brother, I think you mean older, as you set his age as older than Jak.

Ok, children are selected by the Jedi by 6, not after. So if Tak is taken to the temple, at 6, Jak would be 2 yes? But there's still a problem with that:

Within the Republic systems, the Jedi sense force potential easily. A child on Coruscant, where the Temple is, would be detected very easily, and possibly at birth. It could be argued that they would not come for the child until around 2, but it would have to be a very interesting story to explain why the Jedi would wait until 6 to take a child they've known about for so long.

So what I'm getting at, is that it is not logical that Jak would know his older brother because if he was force sensitive, then he would have been taken before Jak was born.

Also, even if Jak knew his brother, a child who is taken by the Jedi sever bonds with their families. They do not go visit them, they do not communicate with them, nothing. This is to prevent strong emotional ties that would lead a potential Jedi to follow the Dark Side.

So while this brotherly relationship is interesting, it simply wouldn't make sense. I would suggest putting their home planet as someplace in the outer rim, and putting their ages closer together, maybe just one year apart, but even then, if both of them had force potential, they would be separated at the temple as well. The Jedi would not allow contact between siblings because it is dangerous.

As far as stats go, a youngling at the age of 12 would likely have only a 2, maybe a 3 in Shii-Cho and probably only a 1 in one other form, if at all. And that form, as Iota said, would likely be either Shien or Niman, as those were the most common forms. Ataru would be learned as a Padawan.

Other stats look fine to me.

Now, I know that I pretty much bashed your character's main element, which was this thing with his brother, but since it's not logical for how the Jedi work, I can't accept it. If you want, you can PM me and we can discuss other ideas for your character. I'd be happy to help.
