Name: Robert Beole
Race: Human
Age: Sixty-nine
Height: 6'0
Weight: 200 lbs.
Appearance:
Birth place: Korriban
Faction: Jedi Council
Rank: Jedi Master, Consular
Bio:
I. Birth/Early Childhood
Roabert Beole was born on the planet of Korriban. He had never known of his brother who was given away when his parent’s deemed his midi-chlorians were not high enough to carry on the family’s legacy of the Force. He was sent to Tatooine where he would be raised there without knowing of his real parents. Robert’s father was a dark jedi who lived on Korriban as a way to honor the memory of his predecessors. His practices followed the ways of the Sith.
Joari Beole, Robert’s father, wanted a son that would carry on the family’s ways, being a dark jedi. He often explored the forbidden and darker parts of the Force. Doing so, he would often try to see also how certain ways of using the Force would affect the body, not his of course. Occasionally he would pick up strangers and offer them a place to stay while they rested, though he would put them through multiple ordeals of severe mental and physical torture, testing the Force, before discarding of what was left.
This had continued for quite a while, most of Robert’s childhood, his parents showing him the true power of the Force. Though this all changed when a Jedi Master came to the planet and landed near the home. The Jedi Master rescued the young Robert from his family, and left the young boy in his ship. Having to do his duty, he confronted Joari where a great battle raged on for some time. Though, moments later the Jedi Master returned to his ship and then flew to the planet of Manaan.
The Jedi Master refused to take the young Robert to the Jedi Temple. He knew if the boy learned to harness the Force and was scarred enough by his parents, he would follow in their path. Yet still, he had sympathy for the boy and considered the possibility of erasing his memory or shielding those horrible memories. He had reluctance about leaving the boy, which was a great struggle for him.
But deciding that he didn’t want to take any chances, he decided he would give the boy to someone else. He found someone far more trustworthy and who would raise the boy like he was their own. He came across a young, human couple and offered Robert to them, who they accepted gladly. But ironically, a Jedi Knight was sent to Manaan for a mission when he came across Robert. He then took Robert to Coruscant and presented him before the Jedi Council, where there, he was examined.
II. The Council/Youngling
The Jedi Knight took Robert, who was seven, to the Jedi Council, for possible training. The Jedi Council was not supportive of the idea at all; they disliked the idea of training someone who had a past like his. It was all because of the risk of turning to the dark side and pursing its ways. Though, after a long, heated debate and many hours of discussion, he was admitted under certain conditions; mainly because, the Jedi Council believed still at his age he could be easily and heavily influenced towards the Jedi’s ways.
So now, Robert was a Youngling at the Jedi Temple, though, he didn’t feel like it, he felt out of place. And often times, a Jedi Master would come into his quarters after his daily training and talk with him. They discussed various topics with him; simple things, such as how he was doing and how his training went; and more complex things, if he had had any visions, temptations he may have had, and his feelings. This slowly caused Robert to become distant from the other Younglings, almost to the point of being a lone-wolf, though, this help form and mold him, by being able to lock away his emotions.
During his first few years at the Jedi Temple, most of his time was spent studying. If he wasn’t training or having one of his ‘sessions’ with a Jedi Master, he was studying. He often would sit in his room, learning the ways and history of the Force and Jedi, meditating on the knowledge and powers. He would soak it all in, but his thirst for the knowledge was insatiable. His studies also became a way of his escaping thoughts and fears, his memories, it was what he needed.
Though, all that changed, during one of his sessions. The Jedi Master that came to visit him during this meeting wasn’t a master, but, in fact, it was a Jedi Knight, he changed Robert’s life forever. This Knight went through similar things Robert went through as a child, except his parents were not Jedi. His parents were wealthy, corrupt, money lovers, who owned a lucrative business. But all he was taught as a child was to show people what they want, and when they weren’t looking, to slash their throats, quite literally, and take their money.
This new found friend was a great help for Robert. He always knew what to say and when it was needed to be said. He had known the pain of being freed from an evil family, yet stilling missing them and feeling empty. He was someone Robert could vent his feeling to. He taught Robert how to shut away his emotions and use them only when they were necessary. He was a blessing to the young boy, he was a saint, and he was the perfect friend any young boy would need.
Then, though, came the time he graduated from the Jedi Temple to become a Padawan. He had crafted his own light saber, and he was ready. All that remained for him to do, for him to find a master willing to take him in as an apprentice. Though, it was a long and difficult job because many of them didn’t want to take him in. Even his ‘friend’ who had done so much to help him had found himself his own Padawan. Robert was left without any one to be there for him, but he continued to search.
III. A Master
After what seemed like forever of searching, Robert was approached by an elderly Selkath. It was a Jedi Master who was interested in Robert, and not because of his history and his family. He found the dedication, meditating, and work that Robert put t o his studies quite amazing and honorable. Though, Robert never knew; that the man had always kept an eye on him. When eh thought that he was alone, once again, in the cruel world, someone was always there.
He had waited to reveal himself to Robert until the time was right, just when he was needed. He was testing to see if Robert was going to persevere and continue his search, or give up and throw all of the painful hours of studying away. And Robert passed the test; he never gave up, which was good. And now, he had become an official Jedi, he could further his studies and power.
Immediately during their first mission to Naboo, the two bonded. Some Mandalorians were causing trouble, and they needed to be taken care of. Vetro had become a father to Robert. In fact, he succeeded at what Robert’s parents didn’t; their relationship wasn’t one of a teacher and pupil. The two had had so much in common as well, they both got along well. It was a truly perfect couple; a young man, starving for knowledge; and a wise, elderly teacher with excessive knowledge.
They finished their first mission together and were off across the galaxy. Their next stop was Tatooine where a Jedi Knight was sent previously because of some troubles between some gangs. The mission was short and simple, someone tried to stir up trouble with a Hutt and sabers were rattled. But from Tatooine to Nar Shadda, from Nar Shadda to Kashyykk, and so on and so forth, they were sent on countless mission, Robert spending every waking minute with his master, absorbing all the wonders in, his past life for the most part forgotten.
Though, Robert’s one goal was set on one thing, and that was ultimate knowledge. He was still young and foolish and didn’t know at what cost it took to gain this, but still, he would seek after this dream his whole life. The two were inseparable, where one went, the other would follow. Vetro showed Robert a love that no one else had shown him yet in his life. He was put through the most intense trainings when not on a mission, which was what he wanted. He was taught the most simple and complex things, according to Vetro, you could never start to learn anything too young.
Though, after word of his excessive training got out, a fellow master warned Vetro about Robert’s colorful family and history, as if he didn’t already know. Though, even after this information, Vetro’s view of his young Padawan to help Robert even more with controlling his emotions and push back his memories. And it was difficult, because when Robert would try to push back the memories, hate and anger would swell in him at times, and he would want to avenge his parents and at the same time spit on their grave, he was robbed of a childhood by his parents and nearly robbed of his destiny by a foolish Jedi Master.
