"It seems that no one, not even the wisest Jedi, knows the answer to that, but, if you ask me they simply are seeking power." Luxa closed her eyes as she said this, as if it was too painful for her to say.
"But let us focus on what we do know." Luxa opened up her eyes, "What have you learned from this experience Velos?"

Velos listened to her and could tell this was on easy subject for her to discuss. He didn’t question her reasoning for the pained voice but simply nodded.
”Power…Too much can be detrimental and also hazardous…Unless you can control it” Velos said quietly having not heard her question fully. He looked at her as if contemplating it.
”I guess that I learnt the truths of the world…That people do things to pain others for their own personal gain” Velos whispered as if he didn’t want to admit it. But he’d seen the pained looks on the Twi’lek’s faces and sighed.
”I should have acted earlier…” He muttered.

"It seems pain is sometimes our worst enemy." Luxa whispered shamefully as they came upon a tall building.
"This is Sal'Kaasa's Medical Center. When I first came here such a thing didn't exsist. Allow us to go inside."
It seems as though the Medical Center was one of the few places that was active through the night. Luxa faced various greetings. She knew each doctor personally. She lead Velos into an empty room and laid the two Twi'leks on parallel beds.
A Twi'lek man entered. He was quite large, and had a deep green skin color. Luxa knew him as Dr. Wek Kara.
"Ah! Wek! Good to see you again!"

Velos looked at Luxa and nodded. Pain was indeed an awful thing. Words couldn’t express how it felt in your heart. It was true what they said; emotions have to be experienced to be contemplated. Velos now understood what they meant.
”If I’d acted earlier though…I could have prevented more damage…” Velos said partially to himself more than anything. As Luxa stopped he looked at the building acknowledging the news that Luxa told him. The medical centre. He stepped inside watching once more as Luxa greeted most of the Twi’leks inside. He leaned against the wall in the ward and looked down at both Twi’leks lying there unconscious.
When the taller Twi’lek entered the room Velos pushed himself off the wall to stand by Luxa’s side. His eyes kept wandering from Wek to the youngest of the two Twi’leks lying now on the hospital bed. He sighed and decided to introduce himself to Wek.
”Nice to meet you. I am Velos Borgmen, Padawan of Master Luxa Magna.” Velos said looking up at Luxa briefly before straightening himself up again.

"Velos, the doctors have work to do, allow us to take our leave, and get some real rest. We will check back tommorow." Luxa said with a yawn.
With that, she made her way back to their house, and fell into another deep sleep. This time, she slept peacfully through the night.

Velos nodded and left the medical centre after Luxa. He was eager to rest now and relax his shoulders which had began to ache. He sighed as he slouched into bed. He realized he could relax as his mind kept returning to the pained face of the young Twi’lek girl. Her eyes looked so hurt and her face seemed to have been screaming. The site had been unsettling and now it was taking away from Velos’ rest. However, sleep took Velos eventually but it wasn’t a peaceful one but he slept through it.

Luxa awoke to screams in the morning. She rushed up, knowing immediatly what it was. She picked up her yellow lightsaber and drew it out.
She walked over to her Padawan to wake him up. "You'll want this back now." she said handing over his lightsaber. With that she rushed out of the house.

Velos was already awake and he was out of his bed before Luxa came in. He wondered what the screams had belonged to and rushed out into the corridor to be met by Luxa at the door. Taking from her his lightsaber the blade was quick to extend as he saw Luxa’s was lengthened.
What’s happening?” He asked rushing outside with her and looked around. He couldn’t see anything right now but could sense something nearby.

"Rancor attack." was Luxa's reply. She seemed surprisingly calm. She had driven off many Rancor's before, but she had to be ready for anything, especially with a Padawan by her side.
Rushing toward the screams, the pair was only minutes away from the Rancor. "Are you ready?" Luxa needed to be sure her Padawan would be able to defend himself.

Velos heard the word and sighed. He’d read about Rancors and knew they weren’t pleasant. Something he’d never looked into though was their attack style so he’d have to be careful. However he knew that he’d be okay as he believed in his Master. His hand tightened around the handle of his lightsaber and he rushed after Luxa.
”As ready as I’ll ever be!” Velos said. He wasn’t sure what he’d be faced with or how many Rancors there could be but only a minute amount of fear entered his system. He gulped and charged towards the Rancors with Luxa at his side.

Luxa smiled and then ran off to buisness.
Eventually reaching the screams, there appeared to be a single rancor, avarage size. No one appeared injured, so Luxa got right to buisness. She knew that rancors had poor eyesight, so there was no point in using force cloak.
A simple mind trick would do. "Watch closely, Velos." she instructed as she reached her hand towards the creature to gain a pure focus. Her powers flowed through her, and the beast appeared to begin to exit, but Luxa suddenly fell to the ground in pain.
"Ahh!" she screamed as the rancor began to approach her.

Velos rushed alongside Luxa and stopped at the clearing. There on the other side was the disgustingly hideous Rancor. Looking at Luxa he wondered how she was going to handle this situation. He looked around wondering if anyone had been injured but his eyes allowed him to relax.
Looking at Luxa he nodded. He would watch and try and understand what she was planning. Watching as the Rancor went to leave he gasped watching as Luxa screamed. He didn’t know what to do and panicked. He wanted to help but found himself frozen in the spot.
”Crap…What do I do? Something must have happened…But…What do I do?” Velos was now worried and found his hand trembling. He tried to steady himself but was unsuccessful at doing so.

Luxa began to slowly tremble upward, and felt immediate pain in her head. She had no time to rest as two men appeared and began rapidly shooting at her. She jumped up above theri heads, realizing they were two traders from the night before.
Looking down, she landed directly in front of the two men. She drew her saber and destroyed their blasters, then pushed them aside.
"Restrain them, Velos!" she shouted to her padawan. Then she targeted the rancor. She again attempted to play with the creatures mind...

Velos looked at Luxa as she began to tremble. This worried him but from above he could sense two approaching humanoid shapes.
”Watch out!” Velos shouted before realizing that Luxa already had things planned. Looking at the slowly approaching Rancor he suddenly became angry. The guys who had attacked the two Twi’leks had just attacked Luxa and Velos couldn’t stand the sight of them.
Velos nodded and dashed forwards using his limited usage of Force Speed he closed the gap between him and the two traders and used his lightsaber to slam both of them into the wall. He wasn’t going to let his anger make him strike out but was merely going to restrain them as Luxa had requested.

Luxa had made many mistaked before, but the one she was about to make deserved its rank in the top 3. As she was focusing on the creature, she allowed her anger of the traders come to mind. The giant rancor let out a horrible shriek, as it fell to the ground. Luxa had used a torchure devis on the poor creature.
The massive animal seemed to squirm on the ground as Luxa felt deep pain within her. She wanted to fall to the ground, but knew she had to put the creature out of its misery. She walked over, lightsaber at hand, and slit the animal's throat, instantly killing it.
She did not have enough strength to continue to move, so she sat down and began to meditate.
A few minutes later she rose again, realizing that Velos had handled the traders, she called him to ther side.
"Velos, another important lesson can be learned from this. This was a victory and a defeat at the same time." Luxa went silent. She walked away from the praise of the town and headed torwards the medical center. "Allow us to check on the two that were injured last night." she whispered to Velos.

Velos looked at the traders with fury raging in his eyes. He couldn’t let it take control of him and just used the anger to push his weight into the lightsaber trapping the two traders. He could tell they were struggling to breath and he looked behind him. What he was was Luxa’s victory over the Rancor.
It had been squirming on the floor before Luxa had sliced across its throat. The crowd soon came towards them and Velos let go of the two unconscious traders. They collapsed to the floor and Velos soon alerted the town guards to their forms and explained what had happened briefly before returning to Luxa’s side.
”Master…what do you mean by the fact that this was a defeat? I didn’t really see what happened between you and the Rancor so…I don’t know what you mean.” Velos said. He felt his body relax from the previously anger-heightened form and he followed Luxa to the medical centre. ”I’d like that…I hope the two Twi’leks are okay” Velos muttered.

As Luxa and Velos walked to the medical center a man approached them. He was an orange Twi'lek, average weight, medium height. He had little time to catch his breath when he said, "Master Luxa, come quick, something has just happened."
Luxa knew the man, and could tell he was telling the truth by the tone of his voice. "Velos, go ahead inside. Look for the doctor we saw yesterday, he will lead you to the Twi'leks. Check on their condition and then come look for me. I will go with this man." Luxa said as she followed the man away from Velos.

Velos looked at the approaching Twi’lek having heard his heavy breathing before he’d appeared. He looked up at Luxa and nodded.
”Stay safe” He said before turning to enter the medical centre and looked around. He could clearly remember the face of the Twi’lek doctor and walked up to him calmly.
”Excuse me Vek. Could you escort me to those two Twi’leks and also explain what their condition is?” The young padawan asked politely hoping inside him that they were okay and healing.

Luxa followed the man down various streets, wondering what was going on. The man stopped at a crowd, who were obviously watching something. Luxa pushed her way through to the center to see a man and a Twi'lek in the middle of an intense fight.
"Stop!" Luxa commanded. Seeing no response she drew out her lightsaber. Both men immediatley halted the duel, and parted. the Twi'lek was bleeding, probably with a broken nose. Luxa told him to go down to the medical center.
She was suspicious to see a man in a town that was made up of Twi'leks. She looked over to see him trying to sneak away. She pounced on him. "You thought you would get away?" Luxa said.
The man was an experienced fighter. He had no marks on him from the brawl. "What are you doing here?" Luxa commanded.
"You are too late. Their ships are already on their way." the man said.
Luxa didn't know what to think. He was probably a slave trader, but what was he talking about. In the end she knew someone what have to go out and check the space perimeter, but she didn't want to leave the planet in case it was a trick to get her away. Allowing the Twi'lek authorities to inherit the man, she went in search of her Padawan.

Velos looked down at the two girl Twi’leks and sunk down into the seat. Vek had given him the worse news possible. Their injuries had been worse than they’d initially foreseen and they’d died overnight. Velos looked down at the floor and then stepped up to look at the youngest Twi’lek face. It looked so peaceful now. He softly stroked along its cheek before leaving the room unable to control himself anymore. The tears began to stroll down his cheek and he looked up at the sun.
Blocking out the sun in the far distance he realized some ships were docking in. He could tell they weren’t battleships but instead escort ships. There seemed to be quite a few of them. Why were they all coming at this point?
”I better go and find Luxa and explain what I’ve seen. But where could she be?” Velos talked to himself and sighed keeping his eyes on the skies above before glancing at the streets hoping to see Luxa.
