"Velos, I can sense that you do not have faith in your idea. If you do not have faith, then it is bound to fail." Luxa explained. Whatever they did come up with, they needed to be sure it was something the lost Jedi would be after.
"The lost Jedi know that they have commited a crime. They must be on the lookout for a Jedi. If one of us goes out into plain sight, they will panic. That will leave room for them to make a mistake. Perhaps it will even lure them out. If only one of us is visible, then they may assume they can take them on. The other two could hide nearby, ready to overpower them if they strike..." Luxa grew excited about her idea. "...however, this could also cause them to run. It is a longshot..."

Velos sighed. He wanted to believe in his idea but knew that it would be risky. But then again…wouldn’t any mission involving possible dark Jedi be risky? Realising this Velos’ eyes shone up.
”What if to lure them out we offered them safe passage to a place where Jedi wouldn’t go? We’d all have to go undercover or only one of us could to lure them somewhere. Then we’d be able to catch them and take them back to Coruscant without resorting to violence.” This time Velos’ confidence shone through his words. He figured that if the culprits were in fear of being caught a place of safety would be ideal to them.

"A difficult decision lies ahead. Its consequences could mean life or death on our part. We must think this through carfeully. I must meditate on this." Luxa calmly said.
She paced through the thin grass to a clear spot. She sat down, close dher eyes and crossed her legs. She needed to clear her mind. It was the only a realistic and proper decision could be made.

Velos watched her as she walked away to meditate. He wasn’t going to let this free time go to waste and soon the familiar sound of a lightsaber expanding filled the silence. He stepped back into the Soresu beginner’s stance and began to practice the small routine Luxa had shown him last time. He was gradually getting better at it and was looking forwards to his next Soresu lesson from Luxa but for the time being he focused on simply practicing what he’d already been taught.

Luxa ros from her meditation. She thought she was now calm enough to complete the mission. She turned to see Velos swatting away with his lightsaber.
"Velos, and new on the arrival of Master River?" Luxa asked, even though she was pretty sure she already knew the answer. "And any new from Tuljima?" again Luxa asked, and again thinking she already knew the answer.

Former Jedi Master Madara Teal sat quietly on the floor in the high rise apartment. It was a hideout that he had used over his numerous years as a Jedi. He was no longer a Jedi though, for he had broken the code. He had killed a fellow Jedi, yet he did not feel a single ounce of remorse. He knew that he was on a dark path, but that thought didn't bother him much either.
Madara had been engaged in all sorts of illegal activities and had been taking part in things that were against the code. He had been taking bribes, roughing his charges up more than was necessary. He convinced himself that as long as he was serving the galaxy there was nothing wrong with taking something for himself on the side.
That damn fool had to find out and ruin everything though.
Now that fool was dead, because he stuck his head into something that he wasn't supposed to. He knew that it was inevitable that he would've gotten caught but he rather it hadn't been so soon. No, now he was on the run, for he was surely going to be hunted by the Jedi.
He of course wasn't going to be the only one that was hunted by them. He hadn't been alone in his activities, just as he wasn't alone in this apartment. Madara slowly opened his eyes as his senses attuned themselves to the new arrivals on Empress Teta.
"They have arrived..."

Down below, Tuljima raced through the city on his bike, trying to locate the renegade Jedi through the multitude of people. It was difficult to find anyone in the ecumenopolis (the young Knight was very proud of himself for knowing that word, and being able to use it properly), but common sense said that a Jedi Master should be easy to find through the Force. Even if there were billions of people in the way.
A cantina caught his eye, one situated near a high-rise apartment building. "Good a place as any," he muttered, parking the bike and swinging down off of it. He hunched in on himself and fingered his blaster nervously, portraying the anxious merc looking for a good contract. He sidled up to the bar, and the Twi'lek bartender came over. "Help ya?" he asked genially.
"Mebbe," Tuljima replied. "Name's Jerme, an' I'se lookin' fer work. Barrin' 'at, I'se lookin' fer stuff t' do. Anythin' strange, y'know?" A pause, and he slid a credit chip across. "Ehh, gimme somethin' light... gotta keep on m' toes."
"Of course," the bartender said, nodding his head and accepting the money. He turned around, fiddled with a machine, and faced about again holding a small glass of blue liquid. "So, work is it? Well, couldn't tell ya anyone specific looking for muscle, but I'm sure if you just stick around someone will notice you."
"Thankee," 'Jerme' replied, sipping from the small glass. He turned and faced out into the cantina, casting a watchful eye over what he could see. If any Jedi came near him, he'd pick up on them, he was sure of it.
Then something caught his attention, from the direction of the nearby high-rise building. "Somethin's up thar," he said to himself, looking in the direction of the building. He stood up and walked to the corner, where it was dark and relatively quiet. He pulled out his encrypted comlink and hailed Master Magna on her own unit. "Mas'er Manga, y' 'ear me?" he said, slurring his speech more than usual; if anyone overheard them they would be hard-pressed to decipher the code and translate what he said, though he was certain Luxa would understand. "Ah foun' somethin' h'intres'in', why dun ya come ou' 'ere 'n see f'r y'se'f? I'se at th' Flyin' Ranc'r Cant'na, jus' 'alf a mile innards; 's flashy digs, an' 'ere's a big 'igh-rise righ' by it, y'can' miss th' place."
Then he cut the transmission and waited for a response.

Just a month ago, Raine Aylar had been a Master of the Jedi Order. A lot had changed in that month. She saw the galaxy through different eyes now.
Raine was relatively plain and inconspicuous-looking woman in her mid-thirties with blue eyes and short brown hair. Wearing civilian garb of the current Cinnigar fashion, she was seated on the floor across from Madara.
"I sense them as well. Three, with a fourth on his way fast approaching." Among the Jedi, Raine had been well known for her sensory abilities with the Force, able to detect the presence of others across great distances, which was why she had often been assigned to missions that required a certain amount of hunting and tracking. "One of them is very close. What do you suggest we do?"

Velos glanced up at the sky as he withdrew his lightsaber placing it against his hip. He'd heard the intercom go and he rushed to Luxa's side.
”It sounds like he's got a lead...But I can also sense that something is amiss.” Velos said urgently wondering whether Luxa had a plan for when they got there.

"No time to waste Velos! Come quickly!" Luxa's usual calm attitude had left her. She had been feeling a great disturbance in the Force, and Tuljima's message had pulled the trigger on her senses.
After shouting toward her Padawan, Luxa had gone into a sprinting position. That is when her senses kicked back in. They needed a plan.
"Tuljima said that he was in a Cantina a half a mile into town." Luxa remebered aloud. "I will go meet up with him. Here Velos, you take the intercom," Luxa said, handing Velos the device. "When we reach the Cantina, head north, and act as backup." With that, Luxa set off.

Velos watched as Luxa sprinted towards the city. He was quick to follow trailing just slightly behind her as he ran. He wondered what the two Jedi-gone-bad would be like and hoped they could keep it peaceful. He was momentarily distracted and didn't realise that Luxa had stopped. Realising his error he quickly returned to Luxa's side and took the intercom from her.
”What do you mean by back-up? What do you want me to do?” Velos asked not wanting his unknowing to cause the mission to go wrong. He ran alongside Luxa wondering in the back of his mind about the partner that never arrived. River Moonflow if he'd remembered correctly. Velos continued running attaching the intercom to its designated position ready for anything.

In the cantina, Tuljima fidgeted and looked antsy; Luxa hadn't responded! Irritated, he pulled his comm unit out again. "Manga! Y' thar? Di'ja ge' m' mess'ge?" he asked, glancing nervously around. So far he hadn't attracted much attention in this dark corner, and hopefully it would stay that way. "List'n, you'n Velos try 'n keep down on th' fac' we's Jedi, 'k? Like y' sai', 'at'd be bad f'r us if'n 'dey foun' ou'."
He switched it off, but did not lower the unit. "Damnit," he muttered to himself.

Velos had heard the initial signal from Tuljima but in the rush he AND Luxa hadn't responded. It was only when Tuljima's heavily slurred voice came through the comm did he realise. Listening to Tuljima's message he glanced up at Luxa. They were quickly approaching Cinnagar and what Tuljima had told them was urgent to the mission.
”Master! We need to disguise the fact that we're Jedi. Otherwise we're in deep trouble as we'll stick out like a sore thumb!” Velos called to Luxa who was widening the gap between them.
”Tuljima...Thank you. We're on our way. Tuljima?” Velos asked. There seemed to be no signal from the Comm unit causing Velos to worry slightly. What if something had happened to Tuljima? He began to push himself harder and ran faster towards the city. Only when he was extremely close would he disguise his Jedi-ness.

Luxa heard the shout come from Velos. Instead of responding with words Luxa swung off her robe and hid her lightsaber deep within her shirt. It wasn't too long befor she had reached the cantina.
However, as she was about to reach for the door pain struck her brain. She drew her hand back to comfort her head. Afterward she held her hand to stop an approaching Velos.
"Wait! Something is wrong..."

Velos discarded his Jedi outfit revealing typical shirt and trousers underneath the cloak. It felt strange to be without the cloak but he couldn't let that distract him from his mission. He looked up at the high rise and looked at the cantina. He couldn't see Tuljima through the bustle of the crowd and suddenly felt Luxa restrict his advancement.
”What's going on?” Velos asked confused.

To be honest, Luxa wasn't sure what was going on herself. It seems her mind was not cleared, which made her weak.
"I don't know. Velos, hand me the intercome." Luxa said rapidly reaching her hand out for the device.

Velos looked around him trying to focus on any danger. The force was weakly telling him that their foes were not on this floor but were above them. How far above he was unsure but he knew that for now they were safe.
”We're safe...for now as the Jedi are above us. Here's the comm unit.” Velos said passing the device to Luxa. He sighed wondering what was going to happen now.

"Tuljima? Come in, Tuljima!" Luxa screamed into the intercom. Her calm attitude was long gone, as she did not like the feeling of confusion at all.
Luxa began to feel powerless, but all she could do was wait.

"Nay s' loud, m' ears work fin'," Tuljima replied, turning the volume down on his unit. "Where are y'all? I'se waitin' insi'e th' place 'ere." He had no idea what had Luxa so worked up; nothing had changed inside the cantina, that he could see. He still felt the rogue Jedi from above him, or at least he thought it was them.
"Calm dow', yer on th' 'igh Counc'l, en't ya?" he went on. "Counc'l mem'ers dun get 'yst'rics, las' I knew; 'tis why they's on th' Counc'l." He peered around; no one had overheard him yet. Good.

During Tuljima's reply, Luxa had remembered she was needed in the cantina. After Tuljima had said a few words, Luxa walked toward the cantina door.
"Velos, head north. Take the intercom. Wait there." Luxa said, her calm attitude returning, as she through the device toward Velos. Then she entered.
The cantina was packed. In a big city, there are a variety of species, and the cantina was a perfect example of just that.
Any normal person would scan the cantina with their eyes, but Luxa was a Jedi. She knew the Force had more power. She turned to its power to hunt down Tuljima. She soon found that he was to her right, and so she turned and walked toward him.
"What has happened?" Luxa asked.
