"Shhh," Tuljima said reassuringly, laying a comforting hand on Luxa's shoulder. "Jus' relax an' all 'dat, th' Force's with us," and he smiled, as well as his mildly unnattractive face could. "Yer kid'll be coo', jus' wai'."
Shortly, Tuljima's comlink went off. "Jedi, ya there?" came a hissing, staticy voice.
"Eh?" the lanky Jedi muttered, pulling the unit up. "How'd ya ge-?"
"Nevah mind, ya gots trouble," the voice cut in. "Yer friends dumped a kid and sent 'im south, an they went north ter th' ware'ouses. Now they're hirin' Iridorians, I wasn't paid ter mess with 'em."
"Extra five hunnerd change yer min'?" Tuljima replied automatically, his mind racing. Iridorians... damnit! he thought furiously.
"Thousan' creds? Yer desperate, ain't ya, Jedi?" the voice came back.
"Nay s' much," Tuljima replied. "Bu' yar, extra fi' hunnerd fer ya t' keep goin', sadistic killers'r no. An' two hunnerd on top o' tha' if'n yer gun 'and's quick."
"I'm bettah wiv' knives," the voice came back, tinged with pride. "I'll keep ya posted, Jedi, let ya know when you'n yer friends can come out."
The signal cut out, and Tuljima grinned triumphantly at Luxa. "Force's wi' us, see?"

Indeed the Force did smile upon them, Iridorians, there weren't much better mercenaries in all the galaxy. Yet with the appearance of these mercenaries, Madara also felt as if there was something was off. He had learned long ago to trust his gut instincts, for they had saved him many a time. He walked closer to Raine, and quietly whispered a few words.
"I will deal with these mercenaries, I have a feeling we are not alone, be discreet"
Madara made his way over to the Iridorians, removing his hood slowly, as he neared them. They looked up quickly, their weapons already pointed at Madara. He merely smiled, and reached into his pocket, and pulled out a handful of credits.
"There are some who we would rather not follow us. A woman, a young man, and possibly a younger child. They will not be hard to miss"
Mercenaries could be a tricky bunch, some were brave and did what they were paid to do..others, not so much. Madara made sure that his lightsaber was in clear view to the Iridorian leader. Using the Force he emphasized the small fear that was in the Iridorian. His message was simple...He would know if they didn't complete the task, and there would be consequences. The Iridorians seemed to be spoiling for a fight, so all that much persuasion wasn't needed anyways.
He now needed to find Raine, so they could make their way to the next safe zone.

Raine nodded. She had the very same feeling. She stood still, closing her eyes, feeling the entire room through the Force. The Force flowed through all living things. Even with her eyes closed, she could feel Madara's strong presence through the Force, the Iridorians standing a short distance away, weaker but still detectable, the rest of the city further out, just a low hum in the background,... and, there was something else too.
Opening her eyes again, she looked around. Nothing there. A mistake, perhaps? No, when it came to these things, Raine Aylar did not make mistakes. There was definitely someone else here, in the shadows, unseen.
Sending a mighty Force push in the direction of the mystery intruder, her suspicions were confirmed as a black-armored man suddenly seemed to materialize out of the shadows, hitting the wall of the warehouse with a thug. She recognized the device at his belt: a stealth generator.
She held the man suspended in midair with the Force, his arms and legs bound tight with invisible bonds. "Fool!" she snarled, "As long as you breath, then you can be sensed through the Force. Did you really think your little stealth generator was going to hide you forever?"
But what to do with this man? There were many possibilities.

Velos only awoke when he felt the rough ground of the South District upon his back. He looked around seeing the sneering face from the taxi driver.
”Thanks kid. You earnt me my greatest pay today. Hope you enjoy being lost.” The driver sa respectable maned before driving off. He'd driven Velos to the furthest part of the South District where the streets were mainly alleyways. He'd planned on the kid getting lost easily as to help out the Jedi who had paid him so well just for such an easy, if not strange, task.
Velos looked around his new setting. It seemed much quieter then the bustle of North District but he couldn't keep his guard down. He placed a hand on his lightsaber in case of emergency and began to slowly walk down one alleyway. Which direction he was headed in he was unsure. Panic flushed his bloodstream and he leaned against the wall trembling slightly.
What if he never found Luxa again? What if some rogue in the alleys took him hostage like the rogue Jedi ha? The thoughts were terrifying to the young Padawan and he closed his eyes. He expanded his force sense but it didn't pick up any sign of any other Jedi. His range was too small.
”Luxa...” Velos whispered to himself as he tried to make his presence in the force as strong as possible. He had little hope of finding Luxa but he knew she was much more skilled and had a chance of finding him in the city that took up three quarters of the planet.

Luxa waited as Tuljima talked to a man beside her. She had great patience, but felt wrong, as she was not contributing to the mission. She walked up behind Tuljima, placing her hand firmly on his shoulder to grab his attention.
"I am going to find Velos. You do what you need to. Meet back here in two hours to regroup." she whispered into his ear.
With that, she set off, heading out the cantina door. The smell of rusted iron and rotten vomit filled her nose, but she was concentrated on something else, so she did not notice. She spent a moment to again use the Force to find Velos. After getting a signal, she moved toward her lost Padawan. She found it perfectly suitable to walk, and occasionally run, instead of taking a cab.
She spent minute after minute walking through the large city, each corner revealing a new section. Then she began sprinting, her Padawan's presence grew stronger, she was getting closer. The minutes had elapsed, one after the other. Finally she found the young boy, sitting on the land.
"Velos..." she said.

"Bad idea," Tuljima tried to say, but Luxa went off anyway. "Damnit," he muttered; now they were all scattered. Velos was kidnapped, River had gone off again, and now Luxa had left him to find Velos. He tried to sympathize with the bond they felt, remembering when his own master had done such things for him, and after a minute his frustration faded; he was still on his own, though. So for the moment he ordered something weak and sat down to drink, and wait for his tracker to send word of some sort.
---------------
Shortly before Raine found him, the tracker activated a small homing beacon in his armor that would broadcast to Tuljima's comm unit. Then she caught him; he struggled, but could not fight the Force. "Blow off," he growled in a gruff, alien accent, glaring at Raine even if she couldn't see it. For twelve hundred credits, his loyalty to his employer was assured.
---------------
Twenty minutes after Luxa had left, Tuljima's comm went off; it was the signal that meant a homing device was broadcasting to it. "Hmm?" he mumbled, pulling it out and examining it. The signal came from the north. "Ah ha," he said with a grin, "bes' twel' hunnerd credits I e'er spent." He locked onto the signal, then hailed Luxa. "We gots our rogues, 'dey went Nor'," he explained. "Get yer kid, 'den get back up 'ere an' let's go!"

Madara did not have to go far to find his partner, letting himself smile slightly at the current situation. She seemed to have caught the man following them. He had the feeling, but couldn't pinpoint it, then again sense wasn't his area of expertise. That was why Raine and himself were a deadly combination of Force adept and Lightsaber prowess. Madara had to assume that this man had already informed the Jedi of their location, narrowing down some of their options.
"Rid him of his comm unit, and hand him over to the Iridorians, I am sure they can find some use for him" he said as a cold smile crossed his face.
He needed to decide where to go next, staying in the safehouse here, seemed like a stupid idea. A thought suddenly crossed Madara's mind; it was risky but it would rid them of their current problem. Basic logic dictated that they should get as far away from here.
Yet how long can we run until we must deal with open confrontation?
Madara knew that running was only going to delay the inevitable. He was also a tactician, always looking for the right opportunity to tip the scales in his favor. The jedi would encounter the Iridorians and then Raine and Madara would ambush them in the fray. The combination of surprise and confusion, would tip the scales greatly in their favor. He motioned for Raine to come over to him, and explained his plan.
"We shall finish the Jedi off here. We will wait two warehouses down, masking our presence is crucial. When the Jedi inevitably engage the mercenaries, we shall catch them off guard, and finish them off"
He paused for a few moments, going over the plan once more.
"I sense our enemy will be here soon, let us go"

"They don't give up, do they?" Raine said, her voice flat and emotionless. "I would have liked to avoid this,... but if they persist," And they would. "Then they must die."
How had it come to this? Less than a year ago Raine had been a respected master of the Order. True, she had taken a few bribes, took in a bit of income on the side. Also unlike other Jedi, Raine, who had first arrived at the the Temple at the age six, had not completely severed ties with her family. Her parents and brothers, which still resided on Carida, were poor, and for all the respect that Jedi received throughout the galaxy, they did not make very much in credits. Then they had gotten into trouble with a local crime lord, and she had rushed back to intervene.
Raine Aylar would have killed to protect her family. And she did.
"Regrettable, an Order who does not allow its members to protect their own loved ones is not an Order for me," she whispered. Using the Force, she brought the black-armored man closer, and ignited one of her lightsabers. Holding the emerald blade up to his throat, she smiled cruelly, and a few narrow, precise cuts later, his armor fell to the floor with a great clatter. "Ah, your comm device," she said, sifting through the pieces, before crushing the comm under her boot. "You've already contacted them, haven't you? Good, let them come."
She nodded to Madara, acknowledging his plan of action.

Velos was slowly slipping into a silent depression. Here he was on his second mission and alone; separated from his Master and lost on a world he was clueless about. He sighed and closed his eyes letting his range of Jedi sense retreat to its minimum. Although he believed in Luxa he realised that the mission was still occurring so maybe she'd focus on finding him after capturing the rogue Jedi. Velos just slumped down even further against the wall.
A voice caught the youngster by surprise. He recognized it too and opened his eyes. It had been a while since he'd been alone and thought he might just be hallucinating. But upon seeing the older Jedi he sprung to his feet leaping into her arms.
”Luxa....Luxa” Velos muttered crying slightly. He tried not to cry but couldn't help it as he cuddled up to Luxa. He couldn't believe she'd come straight for him. She figured the mission was still occurring as Tuljima wasn't with her. She smiled as he stepped away.
”So what is happening with the rogue Jedi?” Velos asked.

"All will be explained with time." Luxa explained calmly. "For now, we must arrive back at the Cantina." With that she helped Velos up and began to the journey back. All was silent. If Velos had spoken, Luxa hadn't noticed, as she was focused on other things. Where were the Jedi? What were they going to do? Had Tuljima's plan worked? They arrived back at the Cantina later. Luxa sat down in await of Tuljima. ((Sorry for the short post )

Tuljima burst into the cantina, abandoning stealth. "C'mon, yeh two!" he shouted at Luxa and Velos, waving his blaster. "We's gots ta get outta 'ere!" He led them to a waiting hovercar, and when they were all in he gunned the engines and sped off to the north.
---------------
The tracker, without his armor, was revealed to be a Weequay, short and muscular, with oddly dark eyes. Even under the stealthy black plating he had armor, leather and light mail designed to resist ballistic force and absorb energy. "Look, I'm jus' a merc, ok? It ain't personal or nothin'," he said slowly, reaching down with a casual hand for the detritus of his armor. His hand closed around a small object; seconds later a blinding flash lit the warehouse, searing everyone's eyes. When it faded, the tracker was gone, along with his weapons; grenades, a pair of vibroknives, and a heavy blaster.
---------------
Tuljima and the Jedi showed up as soon as they could, screeching to a halt before the warehouse. "S'ppose this 'ere's it," the lanky Jedi muttered. "C'mon 'den, yeh two," and he hopped out, looking for a non-obvious way of getting in.
Then a voice hailed them. "Hey, Jedi!" it called, followed shortly by the tracker. "Them other fellas, th' ones yer after, they're layin' in wait fer ya! Them psychos is in there still, though."
"Thankee," Tuljima said, handing the alien his payment. His eyes lit on the string of grenades, and he smiled. "Ahh, wot yeh wan' fer yonder ordynances, mm?" he asked.
The alien looked at the explosives, then shrugged and tossed the whole lot at Tuljima's feet, belts and all. "Ehh, take 'em, I gots sources. Luck to ya, Jedi." With that he disappeared from view and left.
The lanky Jedi picked up the grenades; there was a great variety, and they would surely come in handy. "A'righteh then," he said to the other two, "'ere's me plan; I goes in 'dere'n makes a fuss, yeh two stay'n th' back'n keep a sharp lookout, aye? If'n yeh pick up on th' Rogues, jump 'em frum b'hind, 'kay? I'll come'n 'elp when I can." With that he slung the grenades about his chest, drew his sword and blaster, and slipped into the dark warehouse through a side door.
Inside, he used the Force to enhance his vision and hid atop a large container, laying down flat and peering over the edge at the Iridorians gathered below his gaze. From there, he could keep an eye on much of the place without being seen or heard; the thing was easily two stories high, and only a Jedi or someone with exceptional jumping prowess could get atop it, as he had done. Quietly, cautiously, he expanded his senses to try and detect the Rogues...

"Turns out releasing the Force bonds on that merc and letting him believe that he was able to escape on his own was a good move," Raine murmured as she sensed the young knight enter the warehouse. The former Jedi Master sat cross-legged on the roof of one of the neighboring buildings, eyes closed, reaching out through the force, sensing her opponents. "He led them right where we needed them."
By sending the Jedi's padawan clear across the city, Madara and Raine had gain valuable prep time, which the two had made sure to put to good use. With the addition of the mercenaries, there were many more resources at their disposal, resources such as explosives, and the expertise to use them to wire up a warehouse for quick demolition. A few suits of empty armor carefully arrayed and placed as decoys to resemble live mercs completed the ruse. It was a ruse what would be seen through almost instantly by a perceptive foe, but all they needed was a few seconds.
Opening her eyes, Raine picked up the comlink connecting her to the Iridorian commander, who was waiting for the command with his troops in the warehouse below her. "The other two do not seem to want to enter the building," she said with frown. "Shame. But we'll take what we can get. Activate the charges, commander."

As Madara had predicted, the Jedi arrived not too long after they had set their plan in motion. Luckily for him, they had just enough time to make all the necessary preparations. With the current set up, they might even kill all three Jedi with in one swift blow. Sadly, it did not look as if that were to be the case. According to Raine, only one of the Jedi seemed to enter the warehouse.
Well that will save us some effort he thought
He listened as Raine gave the command to the mercenary commander, and closed his eyes in concentration, waiting for the blast. There was a large explosion and a light wave reached his position. Sounds of blaster fire could be heard not long after, the mercenaries were doing their part...now it was time to do his...
"Come" he said, turning to Raine.
With that one word, he jumped off the roof of the warehouse, landing safely with the aid of the Force. He made his way quickly towards the sounds of battle. If only the Jedi weren't so strict, they would have prevented the death of four of their own.

Velos returned to his feet and looked at Luxa. He was still unsure as to what progress had been made; or was her silence indicating that nothing had happened since his kidnapping? Had he really delayed them so much that they hadn't progressed in their mission? He sighed as he ran after Luxa keeping his hand lightly rested on his lightsaber; just in case.
As they returned to the far too familiar cantina Velos noticed that all pleasantries had been diminished and that all focus was on the mission. He was glad to see that Tuljima had been working at locating the rogues and was quick to lead the way. Velos used his force speed to be able to keep up and stayed silent as he ran behind the two more experienced Jedi.
As the warehouse came into view Velos could sense the power of the force from somewhere nearby. It was a weak sense though and he felt it better not to mention it just yet as it wasn't enough to arouse suspicion. As he hadn't been informed he didn't know their opponents were not just the rogue Jedi anymore. He heard Tuljima's plan and he wondered how Tuljima would fair. Even with the tracker's grenades and explosives Velos was unsure how Tuljima would cope against supposedly 'psychos'.
”So we're just lying in wait here for the....” Velos was cut off as an explosion came from the warehouse Tuljima had just infiltrated. Curses surged through Velos' mind as the thought of Tuljima possibly dying entered it too. He grunted but his attention was drawn to something else. A slow increase of the Force from somewhere past the closest warehouse.
”Luxa...they're coming.” Velos muttered.

Luxa followed Tuljima out of the cantina, sure to stay behind him as not to get lost. She felt weakness in his plan, but had no time to explain her feelings. In the end, tracking down the two lost Jedi was the most important thing to do, and she assumed that this would somehow allow them to do that. She may have been the most experienced, but taking advantage of her allies' powers was a key point in victory. She had learned that herself the hard way.
They soon arrived at a warehouse, ane Luxa stayed behind as instructed. She looked at Velos as he attempted to speak, but was then cut off by a loud explosion of sorts. Luxa didn't flinch. She had settled her worries, and somewhat re-connected with the Force since the beggining of the mission and was ready for anything.
"Velos..." she spoke. "It seems Tuljima may have taken a wrong turn in his plan. Fighting, although effective, does not harm the weakest point in one's body. The weakest point in one's body is their mind, and their heart." Luxa had thought of this idea before. It was obvious, yet so hard to realize. "Look at all those who have turned on the Order. They all leave for the same reason, they believe differently. They are taken over by themselves. This is why the Order has such strict rules; to attempt to protect this weak point. This is also why the Order teaches diplomacy; because it effectively targets these points. In the end it is up to you to determine the most effective way to hit these points and what to say to your opponents. Think about it." Luxa cut off her conversation.
She sat out on the grass and began to meditate. "Think about it." she whispered again. "Velos, your time is now. Look sharp." And with that Luxa disapeared, again covering herself with a force cloak.

As Tuljima looked out across the warehouse, several things hit him at once. First, those were just empty suits of armor out there; second, the real mercenaries were outside, where his companions were; third, and he wasn't quite sure how he knew this last, the warehouse was about to explode. No time to think, then; only to act, and act fast.
Grabbing his weapons, he launched himself skyward from a prone position, grabbing a rafter and angling himself toward one of the windows; his gun spat its fiery discharge, shattering the thick glass and allowing him to pass through just as the bombs went off. It must have been quite the sight, that skinny and somewhat ragged Jedi Knight flying through a shattered window, the heat and shockwaves of an explosion seeming to push him forward.
Glancing down, he saw the real mercenaries moving out from their hidden positions, and fired three quick blasts of his gun at them; three helmets exploded, sending torn metal and bits of gore everywhere. They weren't illusions, then, unless it was Ludo Kressh or some other ancient Sith Lord creating them, and if it was they had much worse problems than a few psycho killers and a pair of rogue Jedi.
Arcing his body through the air as he came down, he landed with a roll on his shoulder, coming to his feet and swinging his sword out in a wide arc; he'd been fighting with a sword and a gun since before he had built his lightsaber, in some ways it came more naturally to him to fight with such an unusual style. "C'mon 'den!" he shouted, menacing the fighters, distracting them from his companions. "Which a' y'alls wants tae die fairst, eh?!"
Before any of them could react, though, he leaped through the air again, dropping a heavy plasma grenade behind him; he grabbed hold of a streetlight and swung himself atop it, telling himself to conserve his Force powers for when the rogues showed up. The Iridorians might prove to be fun, but they weren't the real goal here tonight. "Ne'er ye min', laddies," he muttered, taking aim and shooting the grenade; it exploded in a furious roiling ball of superheated plasma, incinerating all in its radius. Velos and Luxa were not in its radius, he had made sure of that, and nor was he, but hopefully it would take out at least a few, if not a good many, of the mercs instead.

While Madara and Raine were making their way towards the Jedi, another group of people would pose the Jedi a more immediate problem. The mercenaries had been placed in the areas all around, in place to ambush the Jedi. Two of the targets had not entered the building, but at least one of them had. The mercenary leader triggered the explosion and then gave the signal to attack.
Iridorian mercenaries poured out from the shadows of the various adjacent buildings. They reported that one of the targets had disappeared but the younger target remained. The leader gave orders to fire, and the mercenary blasters fired, multiple bolts of energy heading toward the young Jedi...
----------------------------------
Madara sensed that the explosion hadn't killed any of the Jedi, but he lost track of one of them. He was still making his way towards the ambush point when the sound of blasters opening fire resounded. He didn't entirely expect the mercenaries to kill any of the Jedi, but maybe if he was lucky they would.
The Jedi were causing a great deal of unpleasantness for Madara, and he was beginning to become angry. Up until this point he had been mildly annoyed but these Jedi were so damned persistent. He would end it here though, and move on with his plans. He was confident in his abilities and knew that only the woman would hold up some sort of resistance. He had been training in the arts of the saber for many years though, and was widely known for his martial prowess. They should consider it an honor that they would die by his blade.

Blast! That young Jedi proved more capable than expected, and despite the spectacular fiery explosion, somehow managed to escape relatively unharmed. An setback, but not a fatal one. Raine Aylar watched as the mercenaries advanced on their Jedi opponents. A few fell, but given their massive numerical advantage, it would only be a matter of time for one of the Jedi to be wounded by a stray blaster bolt or piece of flying shrapnel, and Raine would be there to finish them off.
Suddenly the purple twi'lek sat down and disappeared from view. Force cloak, bending light around oneself... that was what the technique was. How clever, Raine though. With that technique her opponent could no longer be seen, but she could still be sensed vaguely through the Force.
She spoke through the comlink to the mercenary leader. "Half of you, fire on her last known location. And the other half,... take out the young boy."

The too familiar sound of blasters rang in Luxa's ears. Did her opponents honestly think that mercenaries were enough to handle a Jedi Master? None the less, when they cannot see her. It was only a matter of time before they were defeated.
As they approached Velos, Luxa knew helping hims was her first priority. Moving a few feet infront of him, she immediatly stopped her cloak. She hoped the surprise would leave the mercenaries stunned, as she sent out a massive force push to clear Velos's way. They each were blasted backward, disabled for the moment. Luxa could leave her Padawan to deal with the rest. It wasn't something she liked to make her Padawan due, but time was too valuable in this situation.
She then approached the other half, whom she hoped were fearing her due to her power displayed in the last attack. This time she drew out her purple lightsaber. Utilizing the basic form of Shii-Cho, and adding in a little Soresu, she sent out a blaze of swift attacks and parries, resulting in the fall of many of the mercanaries. The rest were cut down within a few minutes. Luxa lowered her saber and noticed a hole in her cloak. They had been shooting at her, yet Luxa's determination left her blinded to the fact. She couldn't decided whether it was a good or bad thing, but knew it was a waste of time thinking about it. In the distance she saw the two lost Jedi, whom she knew she had one last chance to deal with.
Slowly approaching them, this time seen in plain sight, she firmly spoke, "Please! Allow me to reason with you..."

Velos was still stunned at the explosion of the nearby warehouse and as he began to regain his senses he felt the surge of a large amount of weak force based sources approaching them. They were close and getting closer with every second. He reached to his side and gripped his lightsaber. Another proper battle; similar to how he'd coped against the betrayer back on Ryloth. But this time the opponents were much skilled in both the force and combat. It was going to require a large amount of luck and skill to remain unharmed.
Watching as the blaster fire started he quickly deflected one bullet. This was where his minute training in the art of Soresu was going to come in use; defensive. He watched as his Master vanished under the shield of her Force Cloak and he gulped. He noticed the fire focus more on him and he closed his eyes momentarily before opening them as another explosion rocked his ears. The shattering of Iridorian armor gave him an incentive to move forwards.
If Luxa was aiming to surprise the opponents with her sudden reappearance then she might have succeeded. It definitely shocked him and caused him to stagger back with a jolt before rushing behind his Master's force push. If he made it look as if it was all planned maybe it would throw the rogue Jedi; just momentarily. He slashed through the first Iridorian and plunged his lightsaber into the gut of another. The disorientation was an advantage to him as this allowed him to slice through the slowly diminishing crowd of Iridorians.
He was quickly becoming fatigued though and felt one blaster shot strike at his shoulder. Wincing he lunged forwards smashing his lightsaber into the gut of the closest Iridorian. In the back of his mind he wondering how Luxa was coping; and if Tuljima was alive.
