There was no answer from the Twi'lek and the blade hadn't shifted in any direction away from her. She considered dropping to the ground, giving the men behind her the opportunity to fire. Maybe if she dropped fast enough she'd catch him off guard. She'd need to drop away from him though, since that lightsaber was very close... too close. Maybe if she was fast enough she could grab her blaster as she fell, maybe shoot him like she'd shot that other one all those years ago. Though this one may not be the same as that first one. She didn't really have a choice in the matter.
"Excuse me, but I'd like to intervene here..." The Ensign she had brought down with the platoon had stepped forward. He had been a random assignment to the group based on who was on duty. He stepped around her, looking the Twi'lek in the eyes. "Maybe we can work out a deal here." he offered.

Shi'tan glared at the Ensign, not moving his saber from the Admiral, "A deal, yes." Shi'tan smiled as he lifted his hand wrapping the force around the Ensigns throat and slowly squeezing the life from him. "Your efforts are useless, Admiral. Your life will soon drain as-" Shi'tan was cut off by as the bolt of a blaster flashing by his head burning deep in the Ensign's chest. Shi'tan let the man lifeless body crumple to the floor as he spun around thrusting with the force to hurtle the Admiral in the direction of the blast. As he expelled the force he noticed Kiela, already running towards him.

Whatever deal the Ensign had intended to make with the Jedi hadn't gone down well. His body had lifted several feet from the air, dangling and choking as though hanging from some invisible ropes. Dropping to the floor wouldn't work, the Jedi's attention wasn't even focused on her properly any more, but she could feel the heat from the lightsaber on her neck. The sound of a weapon firing echoed across the landing pad, and a flash suddenly streaked across her vision and struck the dangling body of the Ensign, reverting it to a corpse. The process took only a few seconds, but just as she registered what had happened she felt herself pushed against as though a strong wind had hit her, pushing her backwards and knocking her soldiers to the ground.
She didn't fall however, feeling the air continue to rush past her. Her balance was skewered and she realised she was hurtling through the air, away from the Jedi and towards the source of the weapon bolt she had seen earlier. Another shot echoed, and this time she felt it too. It seared through somewhere... she wasn't sure, not until she contacted with something. A container near the far side of the wall stopped her flight dead, and her back took the brunt of the hit, reducing her to a slumped body on the floor. She coughed, struggling to breathe as she spat up a mouthful of blood.
Very graceful, very beautiful... She couldn't focus on had just happened, only what was going on at the moment. The burning sensation at the top of her shoulder, the numbing sting on her back, the blood pooling around the inside of her mouth and dripping from the lip. She coughed again, before losing consciousness.

Kiela rushed towards Shi'tan, side stepping as the helpless body of some high ranked official flew threw the air crashing into a container behind her. Kiela reached into her small bag and pulled out the first lightsaber she touched, the bright yellow blade igniting instantly, leaving an illuminated trail behid her as she ran.
The Mandolorian continued blasting away at Shi'tan, the fool couldn't aim to save his life, but the distraction was well appreciated, Kiela only hoped she did not lose track of her surroundings and get herself shot by one of the blasts.
Shitan was not going to wait for Kiela, with a swing of his arm he sent another officer flying towards her, the man was helpless, like a rag doll flopping through the air. The Twi'lek raised his blade and began to run, following behind the helpless body.
Kiela jumped into the air, her body flipping and lightsaber flashing, searing its way through the body of the officer like a hot knife to butter. Shi'tan was already swinging his saber at her before the now lifeless body of the officer had passed her. Kiela quickly pulled her lightsaber back as she continued her flip and barely caught Shi'tan's blade with an amazing flash of lights, the red and yellow sabers fighting to outshine one another.
She stumbled as she landed, rolling across the floor. Her former Master already attacking again, his lightsaber coming down hard. Kiela spun to the side, the red glow of Shi'tans blade burning through the strap of her bag spilling it contents across the floor.
Kiela shuffled backwards trying to gain footing as Shi'tan advanced. It was all she could do to keep her lightsaber moving, deflecting, blocking, striving to stay alive. Shi'tan was better with the lightsaber then she, but he was not as quick to think. Kiela saw her other sabers spread across the floor, just a little further and she would have him.
"Your betrayal will not go unpunished" the Twi'Lek growled as his blade spun through the air again and again.
"It was you who betrayed me." Kiela hissed back as Shi'tans blade hummed past her head. She could feel it's burning heat threatening her. She raised her blade to parry and loosend her grip. The lightsaber flew from her hands as Shi'tans blade struck it with incredible force.
Shi'tan pointed the blade at Kiela who sat there with her hand still raised, but empty. "You have lost and will now pay the price."
Kiela smiled, "No, Master, it is you that has lost." Shi'tan glared at her rage filling his eyes. Kiela flicked her hand up, using the force to ignite a lightsaber that lay on the ground behind her former Master. She pulled the lightsaber, it's blade passing swiftly through Shi'tan. He stared at her in shock for only a second before falling over dead.
Kiela glanced around quickly, there were too many people watching her now. She did not like that. She spotted the unconsiouse form of the high ranking officer that had been thrown past her earlier. Quickly she gathered her things and moved towards the officer. The woman was injured, but clearly a means to help Kiela off this rock.
Ignoring the shouts from the Mandalorian, Kiela supported the Twi'Lek woman on her shoulder and dragged her towards the ship. She only hoped the other officers did not notice her dismembering one of their own.

Private Ryan
The sight of three commanding officers killed inside a few seconds shook Private Ryan to his boots. It was a good job he wasn't stood up, or he'd be holding on to something for certain. His comrades were in a similar situation. He looked at the woman who had ran towards them, cutting an officer in half and eventually killing the Dark Jedi Ambassador guy. Ryan picked up his blaster rifle from the ground a few feet away, considering what to do. They were all the same rank here. How was he going to explain the Admiral had been killed with twenty soldiers around her?
I'm so getting court marshalled for this. He squeezed his eyes shut, considering the best place to hide on the planet he was on. Metellos, plenty of people, he could do it. The other Jedi that had cut through Sergeant Tymar was attending to Admiral Anpide's body. Probably looting it for possible valuables, he wasn't sure just what those Twi'leks kept on themselves. Though he wouldn't mind finding a Twi'lek some time and finding out for himself. Later though, now was his chance to get away. He stood up on uncertain legs, just as the Jedi turned around.
On first glance he thought she was coming for them, but then he noticed she was supporting the Admiral's body to the dropship. Well, more carrying than supporting. The Admiral was in rough shape - unconscious and covered in quite a bit of blood. She had a blast wound to the right shoulder and and several bruises. Even through all this, though, he found that she still looked rather attractive. It was almost frightening. He moved slowly over to help the Jedi carry the Admiral to the dropship, seeing even more bruises and an array of tattered and ripped cloth on her back.
"We need to get the Admiral aboard the Eminance as soon as possible. She's not going to last the hour down here." He said, half sure of his facts, but the point was obvious that the Admiral was going to be in a danger of death very quickly. The other Jedi moved as though preparing to board the dropship with them. "I don't fink so, you already killed a' Sarge." Private Harkin spoke up, barring entry to the dropship from the Jedi. The Jedi paused, still holding the body of the Admiral. "Harkin, sit down, she's got the Admiral anyway." Ryan pulled on the private's arm, trying to bring him back into the ship. "I ain't having no Jeddy on the ship wifout the admiral's poorrmishin." Harkin said, in a tone of voice of self-preservatism and selfishness. They were all aware the Admiral was in no position to agree to this.

Kiela naarrowed her sightless eyes at the man blocking her enrty. She had never heard of this, Jedi, he spoke of. She wondered if it was a person or a group. They must be bounty hunters of sorts, to have a name that is known by military. "What is this, Jedi, you speak of? Whoever this person is, it is not me." Kiela adjusted her grip on the Twi'Lek, she was apperantly the Admiral. Kiela did not know her military ranks very well, but guessed that meant she was the captain of the ship or something along those lines. She struggled not to let a smile cross her lips, fortune had smiled upon her this day.
She considered simply using the force to make her way onto the ship, but decided it was not needed. "The man I killed would have destroyed you all. You deny your Admiral the medical assistance she needs to live because I chose to kill one for the greater good of the whole? I would have thought your military training would have at least taught you something, apperantly I was wrong." Kiela watched the officers, their nerves already shaken, a flick of her lightsaber might add enough fear, but kiela did not care for physical threats she did not intend to follow through with.
"do you wish to be known as the few who stood by and watched their commander die? I am sure this will look good on your records. Now, are you going to let me on, or are you going to let her die? There is little time, make your choice." Kiela finally let the smile creep up the side of her face. Something like this could destroy any military career, if not get one court mashalled.

Private Garth
The Jedi, or whatever she was, had made her point clear, that they both got onto the ship or neither did. The only thing standing in the way was Harkin and his dumb ass. Garth sat considering the pros against the cons. The Admiral would survive and they'd all be hailed as her rescuers, and Captain Cody wouldn't beat ten shades of spit out of each of them. The cons? Well, this Jedi thingy had already killed one officer. How did they know there wasn't more in line? Harkin was right in a sense, but they'd need to abandon protocol right now or the Admiral was done for, and so were they.
"Yer threats aren't gonna work on me, love. I don' care 'bout..." The rest of Harkin's sentence was cut silent as the Admiral coughed, spraying some blood onto the dropship. The men leaned forward, eager to grab to help.
"Admiral are you awake? Admiral?" Private Ryan efforts seemed to be in vain. The mind had closed back down into its dream-like state and she wasn't moving again. Bodily self-preservation is a beautiful thing. Garth smiled to himself, observing the specks of blood on his boots. He lifted one up, checking the crimson shine against the light, before forcing it forward into the back of Harkin's knee, causing the man to fall backwards into the dropship. "I think we've wasted too much time with your little ego fest, Harkin. You remember Farn back on the ship? Remember how much he likes the Admiral? Might wanna consider what he'll do if he finds out it's your fault she dies. Heck, he might take out more than just his anger on you." Garth left the question a while, giving a meaningful eye contact with Harkin. "Or ye... er, get on the ship then Jeddy." Harking backed up slowly. He wasn't the most intelligent human around after all.

Kiela hauled the Admiral onto the dropship. She hadn't considered where this dropship might be taking them until now and she pondered the size of the actual ship its self as she stepped past the Private fallen on the ground. She was careful with the Admiral not wanting to make anymore trouble then she needed. She considered handing over the care of the Twi'Lek to the men, but she was sure they would do things that would not help in her recovery. Not that she cared, but she still needed a way out.

Private Harkin
The engines of the dropship began to engage as the doors at the sides closed. The pilot waited for the signal for liftoff, which Ryan gave him. Ryan, always the one to step up to the plate at a time like this. Harkin remembered the time Ryan had covered for him in the barracks back on Corellia. He really owed Ryan a drink for that one. Ryan was probably in line for a promotion considering what had happened today.
Harkin propped himself up against the wall of the dropship as the vessel burned through the atmosphere into space. Not long and they'd be inside the Eminance again. Back in his warm bed, without having to worry about saving weak women from double crossing Ambassadors. He glanced down at the Admiral, her head resting on the Jedi's knee as Garth made arrangements with the medical bay. Kind of strange how she was the only commanding officer to not get killed back there. Almost as if the other Jedi hadn't wanted to kill her.
Could be t' Admiral ain't actu'ly on our side. he thought, considering the likelihood that the Admiral was a traitor. Maybe... yeah, I reckon I better tell Fuqo about 'is. Fuqo would know what to do.

Daeira heard gunfire in the distance and rushed in it's direction. She arrived in time to see a ship taking off, corpses on the ground. She walked over to them."Might as well get a good look before others start showing up." She walked over to the corpse of a Twi'lek and examined it, recognizng the wound style."Lightsaber." She unsheathed her guard shotos from her waist and held them, ready to ignite.
The Mandalorian shook his head now that the girl was gone and the target was dead."What the hell just happened?" He shook his head again, this time catching the echani out of the corner of his eye."What luck." He prepared his rifle again and took aim.

So calm. The pain was gone. Swimming. Swimming in soft, warm embraces. The relaxation all around her. Peace, utter peace. A chorus of heavenly songs filling the air. A tingling on her whole body. The feeling of being weightless. Flying, flying through the air. Cheers, and a tickle in her throat. A smile across her mouth, and a bright light. More cheers. No, shouting. Loud shouting. Hands on her, lifting her through the air, finally resting her on something hard. The tickle in the throat now developing to a full blown cough. A liquid forcing its way up the wrong way. More of the life fluid that kept her sustained leaving her. The bright light she had seen were only now being made apparent as being the ship lights from the corridor.
She tried to talk, tried to even focus on where she was, but she couldn't make out faces. Barely even colours. Lots of lights surrounding her but no way to tune them out. Pupils dilated, flooding her retina with light, but the brain too confused to amend the situation. More hands shifting her, forcing breathing equipment on her face. A presence nearby, one of power. She felt it for a moment, before losing its feeling once more. The feeling of an acceleration grasped her, as the medical trolley she was on began to move. A droid hovered nearby, keeping pace, but she didn't have any idea what it was doing. It was dark, probably black. She looked at it. It was getting bigger. No, not bigger. There was less light. It was getting darker. It...

For a moment Kiela almost wished she could do something with the Force to help this Admiral, but the momant did not last long. She didn't know why she insisted on staying by the Twi'Lek woman, most likely because she would rather sit on a hard bench in an operating room then in a cell. But she knew that if she were to have any type of freedom on this ship, this wounded Twi'Lek was her key to aquiring it.
She glanced down at the Admiral and they made their way down the long hall. It seemed that the woman had regained some kind of consiouseness, though Kiela could not tell how awake she truly was. Her eyes seemed to be searching for something recognizable, but they did not rest upon any on person or thing. Kiela smiled as the woman coughed up more blood, she was strong, forcing herself to stay alive, though her display of doing so was not the most eligant of acts.
Kiela ignored the officers around her, telling her she had to come with them, or to make room for the medbot. She almost blocked them totally from her mind, if not for the fact that her sight caused her to see them all regaurdless of whom she was facing, she would not have realized that she was even moving.
Kiela suddenly stopped, the realization of what she had done just hitting her. The officers behind her almost crashing into her began to murmer again about her behavior. Kiela shook her head and began following after the Admiral again. She had done it, her Master, her teacher, her friend. She had killed him. A wave of sorrow and relief passed over her, she did not know if she should cheer or cry. But she was not done, there was one more person she needed to deal with, one more thing to get rid of before she was finally free.
She looked down at the helpless body of the Admiral again, "Hang in there, you're gonna make it." It was almost a whisper and Kiela hoped no one else heared. She began to care once again if this woman lived or died. She could help her find the last piece of the puzzle. This Twi'Lek had connections, she could help her find her father.

I know it's a short post, but I'm running out of time, so. T_T ))
The Seraph gently glided on a smooth approach vector towards the docks of a Republic starship whose name Chrysanta just couldn't bother herself to remember. The Stygian cloaking device deactivated and, a moment later, a shimmering field of a physical visual anomaly coated the Seraph, imbuing the ship with light for one moment and making it barely visible in the darkness of space the next. Sitting inside the ship that no longer existed, Chrysanta threw off her black hood, revealing a small mess of shoulder-length white hair, and smiled gently to herself, leaning back against the back of the pilot's seat in the cockpit. While it was always fun to impress, Chrysanta was generally rather hush-hush about the capabilities of her personal assault starfighter. While transportation was always of utmost importance, secrecy was also equally so. Getting here and not letting others know how she did so was one of the tricks of the trade, and, undoubtedly, the radar officer on board the Republic starship was probably wondering if he had dozed off, not having noticed a small starfighter on approach.
Looking around this region of space with blood red eyes, Chrysanta, dressed in billowing black robes that somehow made her look like a mid-ranked military official from some industrial metropolis planet such as Metellos, reminded herself of just how bleak this place looked. Everywhere she looked was nearly-identical metal forming the starships orbiting the planet, the toxic gases in the planet below, and a rather oppressive, depressing purple hue that coated the area in reflection of the planet's atmosphere. By no means was Chrysanta affected - she was not in a melancholy mood, and she always worked at her own pace - but she noted that the entire planet seemed to share the qualities of the environment: Ugly, depressed, unfriendly.
Not that it particularly mattered to the Dark Jedi, however. She was here in orbit around this Republic planet for a specific reason, although she was here to get to this starship for another - albeit related - reason.
A beeping sound from her computer indicated that she was being hailed on an opening channel. A few flips of the switch, and the COM suite activated, connecting her to, if Chrysanta had to guess, the Republic military starship she was headed straight for. A notice on the corner of her screen, meanwhile, indicated that she was being locked on both their weapons systems.
"Ma'am," a voice crackled through the cockpit speakers, most likely the COM officer on board the battleship, his voice polite and official but firm and unyielding, "Your starship is currently on an approach vector towards a Republic military vessel. For safety reasons, please follow security regulations, and reroute your descent to the planet immediately, and maintain a three kilometer distance from this vessel."
Chrysanta quickly began to tap commands into her cockpit computer, beginning to prepare a data transfer via COM suite even as the monitor began to display a long string of data that spilled across the screen. "This is Kris von Adelle, private military contractor," she explained in introduction, her voice decidedly calm and approachable, "I've an agreement with Republic HQ on Coruscant to search for a certain individual I believe is on your military vessel. Order routing codes are 6362-B-Delta..." she typed in another, final set of commands, and what seemed to be a digital copy of an official military document was sent over wirelessly towards the Republic battleship, "...Here are my credentials and official confirmation allowing me on this ship from Coruscant."
Silence from the end of the Republic battleship followed, as if the communications officer was trying to make heads or tails of these official orders, or at least seeing if the credentials were fake. They technically weren't, of course; the Republic remained to be one of Chrysanta's - or, more accurately, Kris von Adelle's - greatest clients, which left her with the ability to call in small favors every now and then from the military authorities in the Republic. They valued Chrysanta's private military contractor alter ego too much to deny her, and, after all, what could she possibly do to be detrimental to their long-term operations by just going herself to a starship to look for a single person? Her request to board the ship was granted almost immediately by the highest possible military authorities on Coruscant.
It was half a minute later that the officer, either finally confirming that the orders and credentials on the datapad were authentic or not actually being able to tell and deciding he wasn't going to deal with it longer than he had to, finally got back to the Dark Jedi. "Your data seems to check out, ma'am," the voice came back on the speakers, and the computer screen on the Seraph indicated that she was no longer being targeted by their weapons systems, "I will assume that you wish access to the ship right now?"
Chrysanta smiled good-naturedly. "That's correct," she agreed, "My presence here is solely for human resources purposes. I promise I won't hinder your day-to-day operations while on the ship."
The soldier didn't argue; it really wasn't up to him whether or not Chrysanta interfered or not, and she had permission from someone very high up the military chain. He really didn't intend to argue or get in the way of this mysterious "Kris von Adelle". New approach vector data was sent to the Seraph's computer even as the starship provided the starfighter docking coordinates, coordinates which Chrysanta gently nosed the Seraph towards. Moments later, she found herself entering the forcefield of the ship's hangar, patiently waiting for her to reach the interior of the ship and begin to search for the reason why she was even bothering with a Republic military starship.
To search for Kiela Maundrell.

Numa sat at a table on the patio of a small cafe, sipping a hot drink the locals were fond of. Though the drink was good, she felt it was rather over rated. She had been on her quest to hunt down Jedi for almost two weeks now, but she hadn't felt as much as a slight tremor in the Force.
Numa had come to Metellos hoping to find a small group of Jedi who were supposed to be on the planet leading trade talks with several corporations. But since she saw the news report on the vids it had taken her three days to get there, which was too late. The trade talks were finished and the Jedi were gone.
Numa watched as people hurriedly went about their business on the street in front of her. They seemed oblivious to the tyranny which they lived under, just happy to go about their lives. She wished she one of them, niave and happy. But she was cursed to be able to feel the flow of the Force and to pull its cords.
Numa took another sip from her cup, as she reached out with the Force. She felt nothing special. Just regular people doing their usual business. Then she felt something. It was just a small ripple off in the distance, but it was at least something.
Numa grabbed her satchel, left some credits on the table, and headed off in the direction of the movment she felt. Slowly as she walked, weaving through the constant crowd of people, the ripple grew in size. Then the sound of blaster fire cut through the air, off in the distance. She could tell the direction from the people running, trying to get away.
Pushing through the throng of people running the opposite direction made Numa feel like a fish trying to swim up stream. She rounded the corner just in time to see the end of a battle between two Jedi. She tried to push her way through the crowd but the wall of people was just too much.
Numa was finally able to get to the site of the battle just in time to see the ship lift off the ground. "Damnit!" she swore. She could easily see that it was a republic vessel, but as she watched the ship fly away Numa could make out the word Eminance on the side of it.The tremor in the Force slipped away slowly. Numa walked away quickly from the scene, hoping she wouldn't be noticed by the police that were starting to appear.
Numa started on the long walk back to her hotel when she felt the pull of the Force. She had seen something about the gentle whisperings of the Force in one of the many books she had read. The books said not to fight it so she didn't. She let it guide where she walked.
The gentle pull of the Force led her to the docks. Docking bays lined the streets around her, people and machines carried various bits of cargo on and off the many ships. Then she saw it. There was a republic ship sitting in one of the bays and on the side of it the word Eminance was painted.
A smile crept across Numa's face. This couldn't be a coincidence, the Force must have led her here. She quietly slipped on board, and hid behind one of the many crates that were being loaded on board.
Before long, the small ship began to shudder as its bay door closed and it lifted off the ground. Numa felt a surge of excitement as she felt the tremor in the force slowly return. The ship once again shuddered and the bay doors opened. They had landed on another larger ship.
Instead of waiting to be caught, Numa surged past the deck hands that had gathered to unload the cargo. She didn't care if they noticed her, she was on a mission, she must confront the Jedi.
Using the Force, Numa was able to tell where the Jedi was, as she quietly but quickly slipped down the corridors. She was lucky not to run into anyone on her way towards the Jedi.
Numa stopped outside a door labeled, "Sickbay". She could feel the Jedi right inside. Numa pulled out her lightsaber, and dropped her satchel and cloak to the ground. Despite the butterflies in her stomach she knew she was ready to die.
Numa took a deep breath, opened the door, and stepped inside the room. "Jedi," she said in a loud voice igniting her lightsaber, "I am here to end of your despotic rule."

Kiela sat up as something in the force tickled at the back of her mind. Someone was coming, she felt her long before she saw her. The Twi'Lek ran down the hall towards the Sick bay, as if she knew exactly where to go. Kiela had to wonder if this was a lover of Shi'tan already out for revenge. She quickly shook that thought from her mind, it was too soon.
Slowly she rose to her feet, ignoring the officers and medical staff around her, she stepped infront of the Admirals bed, facing the door. Perhaps this Twi'Lek was coming for the Admiral, Kiela could not alow this, not while she could still be of use. The gaurds tensed as Kiela pulled a lightsaber from her bag before tossing the bag onto a chair. Kiela let out a sigh as the Twi'Lek paused infront of the door, this was turning out to be a long day.
The door slid open and the Twi'Lek stepped in, "Jedi," she said in a loud voice igniting her lightsaber, it's red glow threatening "I am here to end of your despotic rule."
Kiela narrowed her colorless eyes, "Again with this Jedi, talk." Kiela wondered if she had a twin running about bringing too much attention to herself. "I am afraid you have the wrong person. I am not this, Jedi you are looking for." She held her saber tightly, ready if this Twi'Lek made any move.

Numa ignored the words of the Jedi. She was too intent on killing... or dyeing.
The nervousness still boiling in her stomach, Numa lept forward using the classic Shii-Cho style. Her lightsaber's hilt wasn't long enough for her to hold it in the proper Shii-Cho fashion, with two hands. Her bottom hand was almost slipping off the hilt.
Numa lashed out with a very basic Shii-Cho attack, one that anyone who is versed in its style could easily block.

She glared at the Twi'lek as she lept towards her in such a pathetic attack, Kiela almost didn't want to avoid it. Throwing her hand out infront of her, Kiela let the Force push at the oncoming foe as she ignited her lightsaber with her other hand, it's yellow blade humming.
"You are either desperate, or stupid." Kiela hissed as she raised her blade.

It was soon after she had docked that Chrysanta, climbing out of the cockpit of the Seraph, was greeted with a full salute by a small Republic military security team that undoubtedly wished to act as her escort; for the time being, they knew, Chrysanta effectively had an officer rank, and was to be treated as such. She knew that not all soldiers followed such willingly, though; not everyone could stomach mercenaries, and even though she introduced herself politely as a "civilian military contractor", she could practically feel through the Force the disapproval of some of the guards on the team. Still, no matter; Chrysanta would be gone as soon as she got what she needed.
It was then that Chrysanta was informed that the admiral of the ship had been wounded in an earlier skirmish, and that she would need to wait for the admiral to be treated before Chrysanta could begin asking questions. Time, however, was of the essence, so Chrysanta requested that she be brought to the sick bay to take a look at the admiral. No, she assured them, she wouldn't disturb the admiral; she just wanted to take a look at how bad her injuries were. Professional concern, one might say. Although hesitant, the security team was hesitant to deny her request, and it was to the medical wing that Chrysanta went...
...Where she found two lightsaber duelists dueling.
Chrysanta had to blink. She had heard that the person she sought, one Kiela Maundrell, would be wielding a lightsaber, and considering how few of those there are in the galaxy, Chrysanta figured it was be a relatively easy search. She did not at all expect seeing two of them in the same room...trying to kill each other.
Chrysanta didn't really want to intervene, but there was something she needed to do very quick, and it wasn't as if time was of great abundance. Hopefully, whoever Kiela was, she would see things Chrysanta's way.
With a lunge, she quickly sprang forward even as she ignited her violet lightsaber, attracting the attention of the two duelists, and jumped right between them. It was good timing; the Force Push one of them had used had increased the distance between the two, giving Chrysanta the space she needed to step in without being carved into teeny-tiny bits. Her lightsaber angled gently to the floor, clearly a non-aggressive, calm, defensive position even as she appeared relaxed and nonchalant, looking at the two lightsaber-users with strange serenity. From the doorway, the Republic security team, recognizing the threat, had taken up flanking positions at the doorways of the medical wing, but Chrysanta held a free hand up to signal them to hold fire.
"Sorry," she apologized, her voice decidedly polite and sheepish, "But can I ask you gentlemen to stand down for a second? I want to see if I can resolve this without someone losing a limb or something."
Hesitantly and reluctantly, but ultimately, the guards pointed their weapons at the floor...but not all the way down. The barrels of their blaster rifles remained roughly angled at the direction of the three lightsaber-wielders.
"Okay," Chrysanta grinned in a not-so-hostile manner, a strange expression to don for someone who had just stepped in between two people out to kill each other, "This looks like I've come in at a really bad time, so I'll try to make this quick and not get any of us killed. I'm actually looking for someone right now, so if none of you would kindly run me through with a lightsaber, can I just ask which one of you is Kiela Maundrell?"

Being hit in the chest with a wave of the Force, Numa fell backwards out of the sickbay into the hallway. She had forgotten what the Baron had told her about how Jedis fight; they use the Force to dishonerably gain advantage.
Just as she was regaining her footing from the push another Jedi rushed in, asking for someone. Numa took a deep breath. She was prepared to die. Perhaps she could take these two with her.

Kiela stared at the newcomer and at the Admiral. So long as she could keep the admiral safe until she could get the information she needed. Extinguishing her lightsaber, Kiela raised a hand and pointed at the Twi'Lek in the hall. "That would be the woman you are looking for."
