Chrysanta smiled at the hooded girl, who had deactivated her lightsaber. Chrysanta didn't copy the motion - she was a bit too careful for that - but she angled the lightsaber away to appear as non-aggressive as possible. Looking out to the hallway where the Twi'lek - who, apparently, was Kiela Maundrell - Chrysanta winced a bit. This girl seemed to be the calmer of the two, and while Chrysanta was informed that her target was supposed to be a very skilled assassin, hot-headedly dealing with an opponent and being pushed out into the hallway was not necessarily the most graceful way of being seen by someone who was going to hire you.
Chrysanta made a bit of a wince even as she saw the Twi'lek in such a sorry state. "So..." Chrysanta whistled to the hooded girl, trying to seem as nonchalant as possible, "What's her deal and the lightsaber-whacking-fest?"

Numa sized up her two opponents. She moved closer to the doorway, lightsaber at the ready. She knew she had to chose her next target wisely or else she may not get a change at the other.
The Jedi with the red lightsaber had dropped her guard. Numa knew it would be dishonorable, but she could surge in and strike when her opponant's guard was down. Of course this would leave her wide open to the Jedi with the purple lightsaber.
Numa made her decision. It would be dishonorable, but she knew Jedi never fought with honor, so why should she? Numa used the Force to drag the light fixture in the room down off the ceiling down onto the hospital bed and hopefully the Jedi nearest to it. Spraks and debris flew in all directions as the room wasplunged into darkness. She then surged forward at the Jedi with the purple lightsaber, thrusting at the woman's heart. There would be no holding back, guaging her opponants' skill, this time she was ready to kill and to die.

Kiela rolled to the side as the light fixture crashed down. She didn't notice the lack of light, just that the fixture now lay on the Admiral. Anger rushed through Kiela as she rose to her feet. The light fixture suddenly flew from the Admiral towards the two Jedi as Kiela manipulated the force to her will. The Admirals life support was still functioning and she still had a pulse. But how long would that last with these fools interfering?
Kiela ignited her saber again, the darkness was her home, she would stop this fight somehow. With her intentions decided, Kiela rushed towards the others.

The gentle splashing of cymbals had stopped for a moment, and Kiqua wondered where they had gone. She listened, hoping to hear the crashing once more in it's harmonious beat. The gentle humming was still there, but not the rythmic percussion. She had heard voices at one point, but even now there were none left. Just the humming. But now there was a new feeling. A feeling all across her body. She was being hugged, yes. Hugged by a giant Wookiee, giving her a great big cuddle because the cymbals had gone away. But he was very strong, and when he stopped the hug she felt very tired. Very sleepy...

Chrysanta gave a rather comical, non-committed yelp even as she sidestepped debris and sparks being thrown at her from Force powers gone amok; the yelp, admittedly, was more for dramatic effect than it was an indicator that the Dark Jedi was actually shocked. A careful view of her face, in fact, seemed to show that Chrysanta was more frustrated and confused than shocked and worried. There exists a need, she told herself even as her lightsaber sliced apart a piece of debris knocked her way, making it easier to Force Push the two smaller pieces away from her, to make looking for assassins far more easier than this.
"Hey, hey," Chrysanta sighed even as she stepped backwards, giving the two other girls plenty of room to fight each other without hurting Chrysanta herself, "I'm really just looking for Kiela Maundrell here for a job. Can't both of you save the reception until later?" Of course, considering that the first girl, the cloaked one, was now channeling darkness through herself, it was rather clear that she was the Dark Jedi assassin that Chrysanta had heard about. Her caution, placing her identity upon someone else, indicated caution to be admired, but, at the moment, Chrysanta was more exasperated by the fact that she was slowly being lured into a fight that she neither had the time nor will to participate in. Even as she adopted an Ataru defensive stance, ready to jump out of the way if the going got too hot, Chrysanta tapped her foot impatiently, clearly indicating to Kiela that Chrysanta was ready to go whenever the half-Miraluka was.

In the dark Numa could only see what the lightsabers illuminated and what the light of the hallway revealed.
As Numa's lightsaber met with the purple Jedi's all nervousnesss disappeared. These were Force users but the techincal rules of fighting remained the same. It was like a chess game. She moved and her opponent responded. The response was quick but predictable.
Numa stepped into her regular fencing stance. It was not one of the Jedi fighting styles but it should be just as effective. And besides, it felt more natural to her. She lunged, but the lunge was meant as a feint, a reason to position herself between her opponants and the doorway to both prevent the escape of her enemies and provide an escape route if the need arose to retreat and reform.

Captain Cody
The contingent of specialised soldiers filed down the hallways in double quicktime, marching past dozens of other soldiers not quite sure of who what they were doing or where they were going. In their matt black suits and headgear they looked like some form of species that lurked in shadows, attacking victims from the darkness. Well, it was close. They had some rather high tech on each of them, and each soldier had proven himself to be especially competent.
None less so then Cody, the man at the front leading the group. His uniform was the same, except for a yellow stripe across the chest designating his status, both a call for respect and authority. He had been in a lot of conflicts in his time, and the battle-hardened man had survived them all, bringing most of his men through with him. He could be nice, but not when things needed doing.
Like now.
At the moment he was a right bastard. The Admiral's medical quarters had been attacked by 3 rogue Jedi, and the other security forces were incompetent in handling them. Cody had taken his squad to neutralise the situation. He liked the Admiral. They'd served together on the previous ship, Anvil and she'd impressed him with her knowledge of how to do things. She'd also convinces the other Admiral to save his squad's life on a botch job with a freighter.
Arriving at the medical bay, there was a lack of lighting, but a hum filled the air. Three lights lit three figures in the room, and it was obvious where their targets were. Cody got the men into two lines, the first line kneeling and bringing their weapons to bear. "Set blasters to stun." There was a variety of clicks as the rifles were switched to a slightly less deadly setting. "Fire." The sound of 20 rifles shooting off, almost in unison, echoed across the room and it was similar to a wall of green cascading down the halls towards their enemies.

The Baron once said that you can judge true skill by how someone reacts to unsuspected changes in circumstances while in combat. His words rang in Numa's head when she heard the troops move in behind her. She had read in books that a lightsaber blade was capable of deflecting blaster bolts, but knowing something is possible and actually doing it are two very different things. Numa was trained in fencing and dueling, not defending against blaster fire. She turned around and readied herself as the troops filed into rank at the door.
Blaster bolts began to fly. Numa angled her blade to try and block the ones that would hit her. Reaching out with the Force, she tried to track where the bolts would be, but to no avail. The lightsaber blade was too long, too narrow, Numa was too inexperienced, and there were too many shots fired at once.
When the first few bolts hit her, Numa thought to herself, "So this is it. This is how I die. A shame I couldn't do more."
As she hit the floor and blacked out, Numa was only comforted by the thought that the two Jedi would die with her.

Kiela's rage was quickly replaced by worry as the soldiers filed down the hall. The situation went from O.k., to bad, to worse, and finally, impossible. She only wanted to get a small bit of information, her intentions were simple, and for once she hadn't planned on harming anyone, then talk of some Jedi charcter was thrown into the plans. When she got out of this she would have to find out about this, Jedi. But that would have to wait.
These soldiers wouldn't be too much of a problem is she had not already been locked in combat. Lightsabers spun and clashed as the soldiers lined up in two rows. The Twi'Lek jumped back spinning on the soldiers, for an instant Kiela thought of finishing her off, but she quickly turned to the Admiral, she needed her alive and Kiela was sure the slight click from the soldiers guns meant death.
Placing herself infront of the Admirals bed, Kiela prepared for the worst. She knew that blocking all the shots would be impossible, but she would do what she could to keep the Admiral alive. As the blasters fired Kiela thought she might be able to find someone else on the ship who could help her get the information she needed, but it was too late. Two of the bolts deflected from her lightsaber before she was struck. She stumbled back feeling herself go numb. Every thing around her began to darken, to go from the brilliant hues of the force to black. For the first time in her life she could not see. She fell back hitting the sick bed. She knew she was lying on the floor, but felt nothing, the last thing she remembered before completely going out was the distinct sound of her lightsaber rolling to a stop on the hard floor.

Xef'se, having patched himself ever-so-nicely into the ship's security grid, knew of Kiqua's plight. He would have come sooner, but was busy fine-tuning some files that could save her life in the future. He summoned two squadrons of drones and five of his best security commanders. 26 verpine, including him, in total.
They were all decked out in Zal Alloy mesh, standard for HIS crew, with the soldiers using his custom MAGs. Xef'se himself had a holdout pneumatic pistol of an old design. He marched out of his quarters with grim determination and marched down the long halls, eventually reaching the quarters that the good Admiral was temporarily being housed in.
Everyone track a seperate target. I really do not trust these people not to screw this up. he radioed to the other Verpine, his antennae twitching through the holes in his custom-made zal alloy helmet.
"Soldiers, I highly recommend standing down and moving out. My men can handle it from here, and I believe that you may have other business to attend to. Such as interrogating those Jedi. My men and I can keep the Admiral safe. Get them into blast-door sealed rooms, nothing that can let them escape. Do you soldiers understand?" he croaked out, gesturing, and one of his officers moved in to inject the unconscious Jedi with additional sedatives to keep them out until more could be done.
His Verpine moved towards the Admiral, stepping around the three force-users to make a hemisphere around Kiqua as she slept, their MAG rifles leveled at everything except for Xef'se, who croaked slightly and moved in front of his troops.
"If you will, Captain." was the toneless statement, more of an order to leave than a request.

Honestly speaking, Chrysanta really didn't know if this was really worth it anymore.
She had come up to space because her next contract probably could use an assassin for an accomplice, which was largely why she was even in this Republic starship anyways. She went through the trouble of procuring clearance from Coruscant Republic Command to board and to accomplish whatever task she needed to...something she disliked on principle, if only because she simply didn't like mingling with any regular army. She ended up having to defend herself against two lightsaber-wielders, and, at this point, she wasn't even sure which girl was Kiela Maundrell, the assassin that she sought - she had a hunch that it was probably the cloaked girl, but that was about a seventy percent change - and now the Republic forces, who were supposed to be standing guard outside the goddamned hall, were opening fire on them with no apparent use of brainpower - apparently, to them, friendly fire was acceptable.
Like hell, Chrysanta gave a mental scowl; her temper was starting to spike.
Unlike the other two lightsaber-wielders, Chrysanta harbored no delusions of being able to block twenty-odd stun blaster bolts being fire at once. Unlike the other two, she didn't even try. Unlike the other two, she merely jumped for the nearest medical bed and ducked, using that as cover even as stun bolts blasted pretty much everything around her.
"Such a messy job," Chrysanta muttered under her breath even as she produced a datapad from her robes, and quickly conjured her boarding clearance and approved operational-autonomy from Coruscant HQ to the screen; as soon as the data was clear on the monitor of the datapad, she raised the datapad screen first above the medical bay, letting the guards see first that here was someone they weren't supposed to shoot, before standing up, her expression radiating clear displeasure.
"Are you out of your mind, people?" Chrysanta gave a very irritated scowl even as she deactivated her lightsaber to show that she meant no harm to Republic forces, "Stand down. You're going to be killing more people than you're going to save. And I suggest you do so quickly, before you're demoted to something that involves touching bantha fodder with your bare hands."
Even as she defused the situation, she buried her face in her free hand in exasperation. The next time I go looking for someone who I need to work with, Chrysanta thought bitterly, I am not going to look for them on a military starship.

Captain Cody
The firing squad had worked almost as intended, with two of the Jedi incapacitated and the other sheltered against a corner behind a medical station. Cody decided that the best thing to be doing would be to take them into Force cages just as the insect leader and his friends arrived, ordering them to stand down and let them tend to the Admiral. Cody wasn't sure what to make of this man, but the Admiral had trusted him before, and anyone she was content with he was happy with. He ordered a few men to stay behind in the hallway for radio purposes, before calling out to the conscious Jedi.
"You can follow my men or be shot dead. We don't have preference." His tone was firm and he didn't really care what first impressions he was making on the people around him. He was here to do his job, nothing more. Ordering the other two men to carry the unconscious Jedi, he scooped up their lightsabers and placed them in the backpack of one of the soldiers. They marched towards the holding bays, and he didn't wait for the last Jedi to join them before marching off himself. He knew that if they had sense they wouldn't try it on in a packed room of soldiers in highly teched armour.

"Nice try, Captain," Chrysanta smiled thinly, wondering if it was in the personality of every officer to pull rank on each other even as she displayed the datapad once more, making sure that the enlisted around the room also saw her credentials and authorization from Coruscant, and also retaining her hold on her lightsaber, "but I happen to have authorized autonomy from Coruscant HQ to do what I came to do on this starship for one standard day. I have not shown any hostility to you or your crew, and was in the process of trying to break up a battle happening in the vicinity of your admiral. So unless you would like to explain before an entire board of admirals why you disobeyed their orders, I suggest you think twice before your own men are forced to arrest you for insubordination." She made a point to use the Force to a slight, covert extent, drilling this concept into the Republic guards around her, as if to emphasize that, for now, Chrysanta couldn't be touched by order of their superiors. Hopefully, the guards would hesitate and order would be split - they would be stuck wondering if they should follow priority standing orders from Coruscant, or from a Captain severely outranked before the orders from Coruscant HQ. If the captain had a head on his shoulders, his job was to follow orders...and while Chrysanta didn't exactly fit into the chain of command, as long as she didn't do anything hazardous, it was his best interests not to interfere.
"If it will make you feel a bit better, Captain," Chrysanta continued, her voice a bit more reasonable, albeit tired and exasperated this time, "I will follow your men, because I do need to interrogate one of those two you have knocked out. It's precisely the reason why I'm here." As if to offer confirmation of such, she gestured at the datapad's antenna, as if to offering to transmit her credentials and authorization to the Captain's own.
((OOC: For reference, Chrysanta's situation is basically what happens when an individual with the proper authorization and credentials (usually a member from a different branch of a military force, but with PMCs running around everywhere nowadays, it's hard to say - just look at Blackwater and their relation with the U.S. armed forces, for example) enters an area under the jurisdiction of another branch; on one hand, they have no real authority or command amongst the officers and soldiers in the area (except for possibly the NCOs), but, on the other hand, as long as they don't go about causing trouble and violating military protocol, they are technically untouchable. ^_^;
Now, this isn't to say that I won't be play ball. You're more than welcome to try and take Chrysanta into custody anyways (and hope that your security force doesn't turn on you instead XD ), but please be realistic about the consequences. ^_^;
...Although I'd honestly prefer that you let me continue with my own storyarc. XD ))

Xef'se nodded at Cody, then clicked his tongue against the palate of his mouth and all of his troops turned to point their weapons at Chrysanta, "If what you say is true, then you should be safe, but I have eyes all over this ship. My contract puts me directly in the service of the Admiral, and through her, the Republic, in case of emergency. My men, being Verpine, can contact me nigh on instantaneously. If you so much as break one light fixture, I'll know, and if the good Admiral here doesn't like it, you'll know, because I am the Admiral's sharpest blade among these dull clubs, and for the price the Republic paid, I'm not going anywhere," he finished, smiling sardonically through his toothless, insectoid mouth. His officers clicked their tongues in agreement. He radioed to his men, Switch to hammerhead rounds. If she makes a move, we want to put her out of commission for a while.
A slight clicking is heard as the Verpine drones and his officers changed their ammunition clips to Hollow-Point ammunition. He spoke cordially now, certain that 25 hollow-point rounds could defend the Admiral from any danger, "Now, my dear Jedi, please do not do something stupid, and follow the good Captain here. I hate when people act stupidly, which is more or less the reason I came to defend the Admiral in the first place. Now Cody, move along. We'll handle it."
Xef'se strode over to a seat by Kiqua and sat down, looking from her then to the rest of the people in the room.

Chrysanta grinned; finally, someone on this ship who saw sense. Clipping her lightsaber back onto her belt and putting away her datapad, Chrysanta put up her hands in a casual, non-threatening gesture. "Then our interests are aligned," she said, keeping her cool even as she gave a confident, devil-may-care smile in return, "Like you, I'm not stupid enough to disrespect an otherwise perfectly-sound contract..." after a bit of a nod to Xef'se in what would otherwise be a polite gesture of recognition, Chrysanta turned to Cody with a bit of a nod, "...Your ship, Captain; please do lead on."

Captain Cody
Cody spun around, at the mention of his rank and returned to the room to continue with the depressingly trivial situation. Cody narrowed his eyes as the Jedi threw politican loopholes in his face, and he stopped himself making a smart remark which would probably entice less of a chance fpr cooperation. The Jedi seemed to agree to join him, but he doubted she would be willing to come into custody as he'd intended. If it was up to him he'd happily shoot all of them and not have to worry about the Jedi, but the Admiral would want answers. One of the Jedi saved her, and one of them was under protection of some sort, so they would need to interview or interrogate.
The Verpine in the room seemed rather apt at dealing with the situation, so Cody agreed to leave the Admiral's care in their hands. There was probably little he could do to stop them otherwise, so decided to usher the last Jedi on towards the holding bays not far from the Medical bays. Inside the other two unconscious Jedi were already in their bays with Force cages activated, though Cody doubted the last one would agree to being inside a cage. He motioned for the rest of the squad to remain in the room, and took a seat himself, interested in seeing what kind of interrogation was going on.

Being led by Republic soldiers to the holding areas wasn't exactly the most cheerful experience that Chrysanta had ever had, but, in the end, it mattered little. What would've otherwise be a rather irritating, albeit trivial, conflict had been, for now, averted, and she was now in a position to start doing what she had come for here. And although Chrysanta honestly wasn't sure which one of the two was actually Kiela Maundrell - she had a sneaking suspicion it was the cloaked girl, for assassins with a good reputation probably didn't earn them by going lightsaber-whack-fest on everyone - she now felt that she was simply going to ask the cloaked girl for her assistance, regardless of whether or not she was Kiela; she, at least, seemed to have a sounder head on her shoulders.
The truth was that Chrysanta was here on Metellos - which she had always considered one of her least favorite Core Worlds - to perform a black operation on behalf of the Republic. It had been an emergency contract, sent to her through priority channels by the old admirals themselves to let her know that the Republic really needed this done, and it paid generously. Unfortunately, it was also high-risk, and it would require a bit of both finesse and firepower to pull off...which required more than one person. Generally, Chrysanta preferred to work by herself, but even she recognized the need to form a small team to get the job done. It was during her journey to Metellos that she, while searching through her information on the galaxy's underworld, came upon information of a mysterious Kiela Maundrell, rumored to be a lightsaber-wielding, Force-using assassin. Information was scarce - this Kiela seemed to have done very good job at covering her tracks - but Chrysanta had definitely been intrigued enough to decide that perhaps two lightsaber-wielding, Force-using individuals would be enough for this mission.
Her sources had Kiela tracked down to a Republic starship that would be in Metellos orbit, so Chrysanta quickly informed the admirals on Coruscant that, yes, she would accepted the contract, but she also needed to outsource some efforts, and would need to extract one individual believed to be on a Republic starship commanded by Admiral Kiqua Anpide. The admirals quickly responded to her request, and gave her immediate one-day landing clearance on Kiqua's battleship, legal protection from Coruscant, and permission to extract Kiela Maundrell.
Hopefully, her efforts wouldn't amount to nothing. The timeframe to the deadline of this contract was coming to a close. Chrysanta needed to pull this off relatively quick.
Even as she stepped into the holding area to where the two Dark Jedi were housed in force cages, Chrysanta noted that the two were still unconscious. She took a moment as she stepped before the force cage of the cloaked girl, and, in a rather unnecessary and almost awkward motion, waved her hand slowly in front of the girl's face behind the force cage, as if testing if she was awake or not. It was only after this vaguely humorous motion that Chrysanta turned around to smile sheepishly at Captain Cody, scratching the back of her head as if in slight embarrassment. "Erm, I'd hate to be much more of a bother than I'm sure I already am," she chuckled before pointing gingerly at the cloaked girl, "But do you have anything that can get this one awake right now? I'm supposed to do my thing as soon as possible."

Kiela lay there motionless, pleased that having her eyes closed was enough to fool them. Yet again the tides turned to her advantage, her useless eyes were still useful for somethings. She looked around the room noting everyone's position. Luck was on the side of this human though. She had seemed to not care about putting herself in dangers way, and somehow managed to not get herself thrown into a cell along with Kiela and the Twi'Lek.
She suddenly remembered the Admiral and began wondering if she had survived. She was ready, even with this human waving a hand in front of her, as soon as they tried anything she would get out.

((OOC: Please don't hesitate to hit me on the head if I'm going way too fast.))
To be fair, Chrysanta wasn't all that great a telepath; her abilities to delve into the mind of others were sub-par, and her ability at empathy wasn't all that great. She always felt the ability to probe someone else's inner self was a bit gross, if not a bit boring; while she was a practitioner of "whatever-it-takes", there were certain lines she didn't really feel like crossing. Somehow, simply extracting feelings and knowledge out of someone was just...too bland, too boring. It was like having all the answers to a rather challenging puzzle, taking away the thrill of trying to have to work things out yourself. Chrysanta wasn't such a person.
Thankfully, though, although Chrysanta's telepathic abilities were hardly top-notch, her ability to sense through the Force was still relatively powerful, so although Chrysanta didn't actually pick up Kiela's surface thoughts at subterfuge, it was through the Force that Chrysanta could detect the faint signs that Kiela had, indeed, regained consciousness. Faking sleep was something that Chrysanta knew was possible, although she wasn't quite ready to cement that down as the reason why Kiela refused to move despite being awake. She didn't try to probe too far to discern the smaller motives for smaller details. She turned to the Force cage, ready to begin what she came here to do.
Chrysanta didn't even bother asking Cody to leave and give them some privacy for what would otherwise be classified information; she had a feeling that Cody would insist being in the loop, and that he would give her a great deal of trouble otherwise. Besides, Cody seemed to be the type of person who played strictly by the rulebook, and knew how to keep a secret. And even if he was going to tell someone, who else was he going to report this to other than his own Admiral? That didn't really matter; at this point, the Admiral probably already knew about the operation, or would know soon when the official classified communique reaches her.
No, it was probably to Chrysanta's advantage that Cody be kept in. If only so that she would have no more problems with security forces on this ship.
"Welcome back," Chrysanta gave a bit of a devil-may-care grin even as she stood in front of the cloaked girl, crossing her arms across her chest even as she did so, her voice surprisingly good-natured, "My name is Kris von Adelle. Like I said before, this is kind of really bad timing. Now, I don't really know if you're really Kiela Maundrell or not, but between you and that other crazy girl, I think I prefer you as the lightsaber-wielding girl I'm supposed to seek out. Believe it or not, though, I came here for a reason, so I need you to listen up for a moment. This is important."
Drawing her datapad from her black robes, Chrysanta quickly activated the screen and pulled out a few documents that sprawled itself across the screen as they decompressed into a classified Republic armed forces briefing packet. "This man is Preston Laut," Chrysanta explained even as she held up the datapad in front of the cloaked girl for her to see, oblivious to the fact that she was actually blind, "showing" her a picture of a ruddy-looking man in his late-forties or early-fifties, "About a decade ago, he became the President of the Ci Corporation, one of the most prominent arms suppliers to the Republic and pretty much the largest private military provider on Metellos. Problem is, though, that this guy is full of corruption and treason charges. There is a lot of suspicion and accusation towards him doing a great deal of organized smuggling, side deals, bribes...and supposedly providing assistance to the enemy for a quick credit or two. The Republic would get him arrested and charged, except..." Chrysanta gave a futile shrug and sigh, "...evidence keeps disappearing, law enforcement officers going after him keep getting into fatal 'accidents', and judges keep getting bribed in giving him a favorable hearing. Plus the bloke is just too far well-connected; the Republic is afraid that he might be able to pull a whole lot of very conveniently-placed strings if they do something to him."
Putting her datapad back into her robes, Chrysanta continued with her explanation. "Now, Laut knows he isn't the most popular guy around," she went on, "and holes himself up pretty tightly in his secure penthouse on Metellos. The security there is almost flawless, so short of overt military force, there's little we can do about the security patrols and systems there. However, we're in luck; the Republic received intelligence a few days ago that Laut will be secretly heading to one of his laboratories on Metellos - which is actually right now - to observe field tests of a new weapon the Ci Corporation is developing. Compared to his penthouse, Laut is a lot more vulnerable here, and the Republic believes that said weapon in development might be smuggled to enemy factions for profit. It's a great chance to finally put this guy down. Problem is that the admirals in Coruscant are too afraid of using their own operatives, because they would be in pretty big trouble if Laut ever traced any attempts on his life back to them. Like I said, the guy's pretty well-connected, and there are probably a great deal of political consequences if the Republic is implicated in offing him..." again, Chrysanta shrugged, showing a degree of futile nonchalance, "...But I'm no politician; all I know is that it's far safer for them to get a hired gun they can easily disavow if this thing blows over, so, as far as I'm concerned, as long as we succeed - that, or manage to escape or die - the Republic won't be implicated."
Taking a moment for Kiela to take this all in, Chrysanta stepped aside from her and turned to a Republic ensign nearby; she gave an apology and requested something, to which the ensign nodded, albeit somewhat hesitantly, and quickly left the holding area. Considering that the ensign had agreed to do whatever was asked of him despite Chrysanta's less-than-stellar reputation on this ship, whatever Chrysanta requested probably wasn't anything particular dangerous or extraordinary. It was only after this that Chrysanta returned her attention on Kiela.
"I'd hate to break this to you," there was an appropriate amount of regret, if not sheepishness and embarrassment, in Chrysanta's voice even as she spoke, "but, this is pretty sensitive information that can cause the Republic a great deal of trouble, and I know you didn't exactly come asking for this information. Still, you now know something you technically aren't supposed to know, and I'm supposed to kill you - or at least keep you in Republic custody - to prevent an information leak. So, yeah, I'm sorry, but I've never given you too much of a choice. You do have two, though. You can either stay here while I ring up Coruscant and tell them we have an unnecessary witness, and that they can deal with her in whatever way they wish, or you can come with me, which was the exact reason why I came in the first place, to assist me in this black op..." Chrysanta gave a weak attempt at a chuckle, as if trying for a bit of obvious humor, "...Personally, I prefer the latter; if we succeed, you'll be alive, you'll be well, you'll be free, I'll give my personal promise that I will forget this little scuffle between you and her..." Chrysanta gestured at the deranged Twi'lek lightsaber-wielder, "...when I give Coruscant my debrief, and I'll make sure this job is worth your while so you get what you want..." she paused, then grinned as she gestured towards the Twi'lek again, "...Besides, I'm pretty sure you don't want to remain anywhere near her."
Placing her hands on her hips, Chrysanta shrugged as she adopte a strangely casual pose in front of the half-Miraluka. "Well," Chrysanta finally asked, looking at the cloaked girl expectantly, "how about it?"

Kiela sat up, this woman apparently did know how to use the Force, somewhat at least. Though she did not like knowing that this, Kris, knew so much about her. She had to wonder where she got her information. Beriah made sure to hold no documentation of her to ensure that none of the jobs lead back to him. She heard that he had gone so far as to kill the slave trader that sold her to him, but she could not verify that. This woman knew too much, she could not be trusted.
Kiela glanced at the Twi'Lek in the cell next to her as Kris mentioned her and something about the way she handled her lightsaber. Kiela had been fascinated by the strange form that the Twi'Lek had used, apparently the Human did not notice it.Combined with the training she had already received, Kiela could see great use for that odd style.
She pretended to act somewhat interested as the woman pulled a data pad from her robes and showed a picture of some 'Preston Laut' to her. Kris then began to explain that he was President of some Corporation making some weapons. He was smuggling these weapons selling to those who might appose the Republic. Kiela frowned, the Republic wanted to take him out but it seemed they didn't realize it takes more then one man to do the smuggling. Others in the company had to be helping or they would have easily caught him as records show up that large quantities of their stock are missing. No, Kiela was sure there was more too it then just this one man.
The human turned to an officer and said something quietly to him. The officer paused a second before turning and leaving the holding area, Kiela smiled as she noticed the disapproving look that crossed the commanding officers face. He obviously disproved of any activity among his men without his consent. Kiela could only wonder why he let such a complete disregard for protocol and formality slip without a word.
The Human turned back to Kiela and began slowly giving things to her straight. Kris gave her two options, only two ways out of this. A threat by any other means would be more welcomed. Kiela was this close to having her freedom and this human comes along dragging her into slavery once more. She narrowed her eyes, the useless white beads burning his her skull. Kiela forced a smile across her lips, but the forced smile soon became a real smile as the human mentioned getting her away from the Twi'Lek.
Your offer is tempting, Kris von Adelle. But there are many gaps in your plan that I do not like." Kiela stood up in her small cylindrical cell and continued. "You say the Republic is worried about this assassination being tracked back to them, yet you knowingly flaunt clearance from the Republic. You threaten me with the fact that I know classified knowledge and must therefore pay the consequences if I do not comply with your will. It would seem I have little choice in the matter then, option one, or option two."
Kiela glanced at the Twi'Lek woman. Werther she was Shi'Tans lover or just some crazed being did not matter to Kiela, she was at least straight forward with her intentions and did not waste time with threats, no she acted. Kiela smiled, "I would think that someone with as much information on me as you have somehow obtained would know that Kiela Maundrell does not play well with those that threaten her. I have made my choice, Kris von Adelle. Call your Republic people, lock me up. I wouldn't mind spending more time with this Twi'Lek. I choose option three."
