Birth place: Thyrsus
Faction: Jedi
Rank: Jedi Knight--Sentinel
Bio:
Childhood
Erradin was born the youngest son in a family of Echani Sun Guards and it was assumed that when he became of age he would join them. However as Erradin became older he became more resistant to the idea of following his 3 elder brothers and his parents. Erradin had always felt the pain of others and consequently could not fight anyone without becoming sick himself. Disgusted, Erradin's parents gave up on attempting to train their youngest son and instead lavished their attention on Erradin's elder siblings.
When Erradin was 5 his parents left with Erradin in tow to attend an off-planet funeral for Manda, Erradin's eldest brother, who had died in the line of duty. Halfway to thier destination the ship was hijacked by pirates. His parents knew that they alone would not be able to stop them, but with an apology and Erradin's father giving him his prized Durindfire, they tried anyway. After the pirates were finished they spotted the valuable gem tucked away in the child's fist. One of the pirates demanded the gem and when Erradin refused began slicing the child bit by bit with his vibroknife. Erradin still refused to let go, although his mind was swimming with the pain that he could feel resonating throughout the ship where the pirates had been when he felt something different. He felt a layer of calm and peace cover him like a warm blanket and when he opened his eyes again he was met by the stare of a Twi'lek wearing the distinctive robes of a Jedi. As Erradin looked farther he saw that the Jedi had disabled the pirates without a scratch on any of them. As Erradin finally began to cry, the Jedi turned and took Erradin's hand. "I'm sorry. I was too slow to save you completely from pain," she said before waving a hand that sent Erradin into a blissful state of nothingness.
When he woke up the Jedi explained that she had decided to bring Erradin to Coruscant because he was strong in the Force. Erradin nodded, mute by a mixture of the trauma and the awe of being in the presence of someone who stopped an entire raiding party of pirates without even injuring them. When they arrived the Jedi parted ways, reassuring Erradin that she would not forget him and visit if she could to see how he was doing. As the Twi'lek left she turned and said that if Erradin ever needed anything he was to ask for Master Rienna Denh and she would come as soon as she could. Erradin thanked her, and began his new life as a Jedi with no ties to his past except the Durindfire that had once been his fathers'.
Padawan
When Erradin became 12 Master Riennha Denh came back and selected Erradin to become her Padawan. Erradin was happy that the Twi'lek had remembered him and was even happier when the Council approved. Riennha, knowing full well how sensitive to pain and violence Erradin was taught him how to use the Force to shield himself to dull it and sharpen it as needed. She also taught him ways to fight without relying on using the lightsaber, eventually making Erradin a skilled hand-to-hand fighter, despite his lean build and lack of muscle.
As the years progressed, Erradin continued to learn quickly and proceed to increase his ability to sense using the Force. Eventually Master Riennha expanded his training to the lightsaber and as Erradin grew stronger in the ways of the Force Riennha began to teach her Padawan other important traits such as discretion, ethics, and proper judgment. On one mission to his old home of Thyrsus he encountered one of his other brothers and was disgusted to find his mind filled with little beyond thoughts of fighting and gaining honor. That instance made him more resolute that he would do everything he could along with the other Jedi to create a galaxy where peace could exist.
Shortly after constructing his lightsaber and before he would be old enough to take the trials, Master Riennha left suddenly, telling Erradin to stay and wait. Following a bad feeling and vision he'd had the previous night he followed his Master to find her confront a man carrying a lightsaber that flashed deep crimson as he held it aloft. Erradin attempted to rush to Riennha's aid only to find that she could not fight and protect him. She suffered many wounds finally being dealt a mortal blow. Riennha maintained her focus long enough to push the dark Jedi off the cliff they were near, while Erradin was nearly incapacitated by the pain he could feel radiating from his Master even with her trying to shield him.
Riennha with her final words instructed Erradin to take her personal effects to the council and give them a small hologram that she had recorded in case something happened and she wouldn't be able to tell the Council in person. Erradin nodded and could feel instantly when Riennha had passed on by the way her pain suddenly cut off. Erradin returned to Coruscant, battered and desolated by what he saw as his own failure.
After a week of downtime at the Jedi Temple, the Council summoned Erradin to perform the Jedi Trials. In his depression Erradin nearly failed until he heard Riennha's voice urging him to move on and stop blaming himself for something he did not have control over. Erradin pulled himself together and continued the trials, passing and becoming a Jedi Knight. Deep within though, he always asked, Why must people suffer and die? Isn't there some other way to life?

Erradin sighed, covered up by the sudden burst of noise in the Cantina. One of the locals had accused one of the other men sitting at his table for cheating at Sabacc. As he stretched out his mind, he could sense easily that the aggressor was lying and knew it and intended to forcibly take back his lost credits. Adjusting his jacket and the belt that held his lightsaber slighlty, Erradin stood up and walked forward, his walk and presence of calm in the turmoil revealing him to be a Jedi just as easily as the lightsaber that hung at his side.
"What seems to be the problem here?" Erradin spoke clearly and calmly and watched as the aggressive man turned and eyed this newcomer who had suddenly interjected himself into his dispute.
"None of your business!" The man snarled before turning his blaster back to the man and beginning to squeeze the trigger only to find his blaster flying out of his hand and into Erradin's. The man turned and glared at the Jedi and Erradin shook his head and began to speak like a person explaining something to a child.
"You shouldn't try to kill someone because you honestly lost a few credits. Instead you should simply accept that you knew the risks coming into the game and nobody, especially someone who was playing fairly, should have their money taken by force." Erradin turned back to the bartender and placed the blaster on the counter. "Please keep track of this until our innocent friend over there has a safe distance between him and our rather unhappy citizen."
The bartender nodded and placed it beneath the counter and looked back up. Only the bartender's eyes widening and the glimmer of violent intent gave him warning to the attack. Erradin ducked down and pivoted, suddenly behind the man he'd previously disarmed he quickly grabbed the man's wrist, placed a foot in front of the man's legs and gave a slight push, simultaneously forcing the vibroknife out of his hand and forcing his would-be-assailant onto the ground.
The man was simply stunned for a few moments trying to figure out what had happened. Looking up Erradin saw the same expressions on most of the cantina's patrons that had seen the drama. "Perhaps I should stay until we can find some more pleasant company for our friend here," he said dryly. "If any of you concerned citizens would please call security?"
