Hey sorry for the late reply :S DofE is short for Duke of Edinburgh, as in the Duke of Edinburgh's award. It's this thing you can do in Britain that involves a lot of walking and camping in random places. I just (as in a few weeks ago... ;D) did Bronze, which meant two days of walking and a night of camping. I did it in Wiltshire, in the south of England, and it was very painful XD Next year I can do my Silver, which is like... three days of walking and two nights of camping. Then I can do Gold... I think that's almost a week... and usually in another country XD

X) What fun.
Sounds interesting... Roffle, there's not much here of that sort. X) Which has to do with the fact that I'm stuck in the heart of Rural USA, not my first choice of residence. In fact, these here parts were somewhat involved in the Civil War, but it's that later Civil Rights movement that got it on the map. X) Oi, roffle.

I think people do Civil War reenactments here as well, but to be honest, our Civil War has never particularly interested me all that much. I learnt about it in History, obviously, but I dunno... it was a bit... pointless.

Hm, in my most humble opinion, the Hundred Years War was a great deal more interesting. xD Though, I would have to say that sadly, I favor the French in that particular conflict.

I'm sorely offended! But yes, I would have to agree that it was far more interesting. At least they didn't decide to reverse the results a few years later XD
Also, I rather like the binary joke. At first (being a little less than proficient in all things computer-y) I was more than a little confused... after a few seconds I managed to understand it though XD
