Name: Djinnet
Race: The feline race called Cathar
Age: 41
Height: 1.6 meters tall
Weight: 180 lbs
Appearance: She is a graceful Snow Leopardess, proud of her sleek fur and stylized spots. Djinnet enjoys experimenting with subtle fur shavings in order to accent her lines and curves in new and exotic ways. Finding tight and hard cloths to restricting, she much prefers wearing nearly transparent flowing silk garments of various colors ((don't worry, everything interesting is still safely covered with fur)). Tiny Beads and gems are often sprinkled along her fur, aimed to be not easily seen until she happens to move in just the right way to sparkle in the light. A delicate utility belt specifically designed to compliment her fur and figure holds several small devices which she often finds useful.
Birth place: A savanna on the northern continent of the planet Cathar
Faction: Dark Jedi
Rank: Sorceress
Biography: The Cathar have always been strong in the force and Jedi often keep an eye on the populous there. It came as a pleasant surprise when an orange skinned female Jedi came to Djinnet's family informing them that she had the potential of being a Jedi herself one day if she could be trained. There was never any debate. She was sent off with the Jedi lady. The Jedi lady was actually a dark Jedi who was sent to find more jedi for the sith empire's cause. The dark jedi enjoyed the idea of stealing her new recruit from the Republics back yard. The ship flew off to the outer rim where she was taught the proper ways to guide the force through her passions and desires. She was taught how to free herself from the limitations that tied lesser mortals to their sad existence. The lessons were always demanding and often painful but then that was always the way the Cathar trained their young as well. The Cathar religion includes a ritual known as the "Blood Hunt," in which Cathar warriors individually engage in combat against entire nests of Kiltik in order to gain honor and purge themselves of inner darkness. This fit Djinnet perfectly. After all, As Djinnet saw it the darkside wasn't really about darkness as much as being true to one's own passions. Naturally she learned the difference between the sith teachings that the dark Jedi followed and the Light side practice of denying who you are so that you can become a loyal puppet to the force. She preferred the siths way of having a engine on your ship rather that tumbling wherever the next gravity well took you.
Her test into becoming a dark knight was confusing to her. She failed yet passed. Her Master, Kirl Rikkart, gave her the assignment to enlighten a young light side padawan and awaken his true inner spirit. She fully enjoyed the mission, using seduction and mind clouding as her tools of choice. But unfortunately he ended up being killed trying to defend her. After slowly corrupting him over nearly a year, He was supposed to open his inner tormoil when he thought she had been killed in a staged assassination attempt. To bad. He was a good looking man too. Even with her powers of healing being strong, her attempts to heal him couldn't bring back someone who was already dead. But apparently the true test was not her success with the padawan but the eagerness and desire that she was willing to put into the mission. Also, the fact that she had brought back some sensative information about the padawans master also looked good for her. So she passed into knighthood.
She also couldn't understand how the test into becoming a master was so simple. Single handedly kill an entire ship full of colonists and soldiers looking to set up a new home planet out on the outer rim. It wasn't like there was a moral problem. They WERE invading sith space after all. And looking through the force showed her that if they had set up their colony they WOULD have created many problems for the Sith. It would have been the simplest thing to just make the pilot fly into a star. Figuring that was somehow cheating, she instead gained entry to the ship and just killed them off tooth and claw. It wasn't that she was a great warrior. There were many Dark Jedi and even mortals that were better warriors than she was. But she could usually cloud the minds of her opponants making them easy prey. Killing the crew did have certain advantages. She did after all get a very nice ship out of it since she was allowed to keep anything she found on these missions. She eventually figured out that the difference between being a knight and a master isn't how much power you have but how efficiently you use your power to make it work best for you. The colony ship had simply been an object lesson about dealing with problems at the most efficient time and way possible.
Djinnet knew of no true Sith Lords at the time she was officially recognized as a Master. The actions between the Sith Empire and the Republic were getting more intense. So for a year or two, she was free to enjoy herself with her pretty ship 'Quantum Zypher' recently captured from the Colonists that she had slain in her final tests. Djinnet contented herself with casual piracy. She simply followed her force sense to find the easiest and most lucrative targets. She loved being the Pirate Queen. Faithful and adoring slaves and obedient droids to attend her every whim. Plenty of parts and money to modify the ship to proper pirate capabilities. Her ship was her Empire to play with as she pleased. And she pleased to do a lot. Then came a day when she sent her minds eye forth into the stars to find her next target. Every direction she looked suggested death and destruction for her. Traps for her to stumble into. Bounty Hunters to collect her scalp. Powerful war ships to tear her corvette apart. Assassins hired by angry family and crew members. Even inside the Sith Empire hung growing forces of power that threatened to either absorb her into their cause and steal her freedom or destroy her for numerous reasons. For a full week she reached out with her senses to determine a safe planet, system, or star base that she might use to ride out the storm of doom and uncertainty. There was none. At least in commonly known space.
She stocked up her cargo space with consumables to last a couple years and launched deep into the fringe. She picked a random direction and flew past the furthest HyperSpace Beacon. Even the last hints of the beacons signal were starting to fade when Djinnet was nearly overcome by a shadowy call from a planet ahead of her. It promised her safety and protection and training. It offered her new power and knowledge if she were worthy of it. The call was like hypnotic. Naturally she followed it.
The planet's orbit around it's star was teasingly close to an asteroid field also orbiting the sun. Several craters indicated the planet had been hit multiple times from rogue asteroids but she felt it was safe enough for her to land. The planet was populated by a surprisingly large variety of races. It appeared to be in a post industrial but pre space fairing age. Factories littered the landscape. Pollution was at dangerous levels for majority of the races. Holes in the Ozone were letting in viscous amounts of solar radiation. And to top it off, scores of different nations and warlords were warring with each other. Only one thing seemed to be shared by all of them. Religion. They all worshipped the great goddess Zanha. ((You have no idea how much I want to throw in Darth Zannah's name here but since we can't use Canon Characters she will be a Dark Jedi with a very similar history)). The churches taught that the goddess Zanha created all the different races as a test to find which race or combination of races was most worthy of the planet. Thus they war to prove themselves worthy.
Using her ships scanners, Djinnet had her crew spend months making focused scans of the planet while she meditated on the shadowy voice that had called to her. Scans Eventually located the remains of an ancient ship buried under an large church. The force suggested that it would be to her benefit to find it. The church was based around war and power so it was well defended but Jets could not fight Turbo Blasters from a Marauder Corvette. Tanks were helpless against Sith Fighters. Troops and Guns were useless against the shielded and heavily armed Droideka. The church quickly fell to her assault. Since many of Djinnet's abilities mirrored those of goddess Zanha's, Djinnet was recognized as the new high priestess of the church. Of course since the churches were no more allied than any of the other nations, she was only the high priestess of that church. Still, it gave her access to the ancient ship.
The ship was long since in ruins. Majority of the data crystals that made up the computers ancient memory core had been removed. The few crystals that remained explained that this was originally a colony ship headed for Dark Jedi Zanha's hidden planet when it was impacted by an asteroid. It crash landed on this single inhabitable planet. Majority of the crew survived and moved out to live as best they could. The memory crystals held Zanha's library of Magic and Alchemy. Zanha choose to scatter the memory crystals among her favored followers so that none could learn her secrets. Each crystal was useless by itself and without a computer but should she need a specific crystal, she knew who had them.
Entranced by this lost knowledge, Djinnet now had her life's mission. To collect the crystals to relearn the lost arts and become a Sorceress. The next fifteen years of her life were dedicated to this cause. She hired crews of mercenaries, assassins, rogues and thieves to discover and capture the crystals while she studied what was brought to her. Naturally none of this dulled her hedonistic life style. She still enjoyed her many luxuries. But not since an Apprentice had her life been so focused.

It was night and War Lord Zenth's camp was mostly asleep. Naturally on this war torn world security was still strong. Motion sensors. Manned gunnery positions. Sentries walking rounds. Passwords required for simply rolling over in your own sleeping bag. Ok maybe not quite that bad but even at this off hour the camp was no easy target. Djinnet tipsy toed into camp and up to the nearest sentry, a Gamorrean in this case. The tipsy toeing might have been more effective if she hadn't also been pleasantly humming a happy cubs tune to herself. The Gamorrean didn't seem to notice. Djinnet looked into his eyes and smiled “Oh my. It looks like it might rain. Was that the first raindrop?” She teasingly licked his cheek and did a playful cartwheel in the direction of the warlords tent. The Gorian suddenly reached up and felt the wet spot on his cheek then looked upwards as if expecting it to start raining.
The warlords 'Tent' was actually made from a tough but light and thin plastic. Djinnet flicked her wrist and the blade of light from her light saber appeared and danced around the locked door. Both lock and hinges fell apart and the door fell inward with a dull thwamp. Alarms rang. Solders grabbed weapons. Djinnet strode into the large four room tent, her stride looking like graceful dance steps. She moved to the iron box on the center table. The light blade made short work of that lock as well. The box opened to reveal a beautiful statue of the Goddess Zanha. The orange gem embedded in it's forehead glowed with an inner luminescence. The gem alone would be worth a small fortune on nearly every planet of either the Sith Empire or the Republic. The stone statue itself was of master craftsmanship worth much to anyone who valued ancient Sith History. The stone goddess was a good armload and weighed around 50 pounds. It was a token of the goddesses favor and was a symbol that the owner held the divine right to rule and lead armies. It was the highest honor to own one and the greatest humiliation to loose one. Warlord Zenth charged out of his bedroom just as a dozen heavily armed guards charged in through the main door. All of them could see the quickly retreating form of Djinnet through the hole in the back wall. The hole artistically cut in the shape of Djinnet's own Silhouette. The chase was long and hard with many twists and turns for everyone involved. But soon they had Djinnet trapped in a small building. Completely surrounded so she couldn't escape again. Upon entering, all they found was the statue. It was still in perfect untouched condition including the gem still in the forehead. It also had a pretty pink ribbon tied around it.
Miles away, Djinnet ran and laughed openly as she reached the shuttle craft that would fly her back to her church. She really needed to get out and do this sort of thing more often. In her hand was the one thing that she considered valuable. The memory crystal that had been concealed in the hidden compartment of the statue. The Warlord probably had no idea that these symbols of leadership were actually the vessels to keep the memory crystals safe. Usually she would have hired mercenaries for this sort of thing but she had a sense that she should do this pick up herself.
Back at the church, she slid the crystal into the ancient ships computer wondering what new spell or alchemic recipe she would discover. But this time things were different. This was a map. It was the most convoluted and chaotic star chart she had ever seen. Completely unbelievable. Somehow, someone had managed to chart the nearby asteroid field. It was crazy and insane. But her own ships sensors confirmed the maps accuracy. What was even more insane was the large empty spot in the middle of the field far beyond what her ships sensors could detect. In the empty spot, a small planet was shown. Also shown were four smaller empty spots large enough for several fighter or shuttle sized ships. The map indicated there were small hyperspace beacons in the smaller clear spaces. A cubs story she heard on this planet told of how the Goddess Zanha had a house full of magical treasure hidden in a forest of stone. Djinnet gazed out at the asteroid field. At the forest of stone. IF the beacons were still there. IF she could discover the encryption codes for them. IF she could find desperate pilots who could fly with pinpoint accuracy. And IF she could convince them to make the nearly suicidal run. They might be able to work their way to the hidden planet using a number of micro jumps. Nothing as large as her Corvette could even attempt it. But fighters and shuttles might have a chance. She signaled her ship, the Quantum Zypher. “Prepare to leave orbit. We need to find some fringe runners willing to take chances. It might take us years and dozens of missions but I intend to find out what is on that planet!”
