New Character(s) for me

Okay, so I'm a little stuck on what my next character will be.


I was originally thinking of making a senator, but now I'm not sure.
But I'd like it to be something civilian. And I was thinking of making her some kind of near-human, perhaps.

But as for occupation... I don't know.

Trade Federation Boss or CEO of some other corporation? Some kind of Republic Investigator?

Hmm.... I was thinking spy earlier.

Or maybe something in forensics -- something else that wouldn't get much play, methinks.

The only reason I was thinking senator, was that I wanted to make a character who was kind of like an airhead, and I thought she could get away with being a senator. If it was to a "lesser" planet.

But I dunno.
Someone who was elected to the position but didn't want it...but got it because no one else wanted it and she ran for on a whim.... and prefers to party or sit in her room and paint.

For the species, I was thinking Theelin (the art thing would make sense). Or Umbaran. Or something else near-human. *shrug*


I'm totally up for any suggestions though.

What about just a rich heiress who likes to paint and is an airhead. She gets away with her antics due to the family money and is free to do as she pleases.

I think a senator is a great idea. It opens up many options in the RP threads.

Perhaps an airhead that was only elected because of a family claim to fame, or something like that?

Hmmm... the heiress is also plausible, but a senator might get more RP time... perhaps.

And I wasn't sure if I wanted her filthy rich or not, ahaha.

I think I'll go with my original idea, mostly, of making a senator who also paints/does some kind of art on the side. A senator who is a bit reluctant to be one, let's say.

Not sure on the details right now.

But she'll be different than all my other characters, and I'm up for a challenge.


Okay.... the only thing is... there are not many other senators out there to RP with, lol.

So I would totally offer her up to be kidnapped or something. Maybe a misunderstanding of how much power she actually holds in the Republic Senate.

Or to set her up romantically with another senator or another character or something of the sort.

To give me a couple different planes to play her on.

I want him to be a crazy species... something unique... maybe reptilian or aquatic...
I was thinking maybe Chagrian, but throw up a bunch of ideas.

But seriously. I can't help with race, but occupation I might lend a hand with. Perhaps he or she could be a hitchhiker, or a swoop racer? Or maybe just some punk with his dad's gun or her grandpa's sword, out to show the galaxy he or she isn't just another nerfherder.

Or maybe he or she is simply an unemployed bum who likes to knock heads in for pocket change now and then.

As for occupation... I was thinking maybe smuggler.. or something. He'd probably just be a spacer bum, mainly, but maybe smuggle for ze monies.
