Born on Dac, otherwise known as Mon Calamari, to the wealthy family of the Senator from Mon Calamari, Ackool, and his wife (is it 'wife/husband' with mon cal, or is it 'mate'?), Plashi. He was raised and taught how to be proper, and how he would be a Senator, as Ackool had chosen Cimrab to be his successor. Ackool also taught him how to use a blaster, for self-defense.
For years, Cimrab lived the lifestyle of the rich and luxurious, but he wanted to go places, do things, have adventures.
When Cimrab was sixteen standard years old, Cimrab was kidnapped by a group of thugs who wanted to hold him hostage and exchange him for some credits. Cimrab got a hold of a blaster, and took out three of them before they stunned him and tied him up. The leader of the thugs was Force-sensitive, and he sensed that Cimrab wanted adventure. So, he decided to not inform Ackool where that they had his son, and took Cimrab with them in a few smuggling runs and mercenary jobs. After a while, Cimrab saw that they weren't bad people, but they just had different ways of doing things. After another two years, Cimrab was one of them.
Cimrab was trusted by them, and one time, they left him in charge of their ship, The Difference, a black Dynamic-class ship, while they went to a shop to buy a few things. They never came back. Cimrab followed the rules the group had, and after 24 hours, and they still hadnt come back, Cimrab took the ship and left.
He thought about going back to Dak, to rejoin his family. But knowing there were still more adventures for him to have out there, he decided against it, and headed to Nar Shaddaa.
Since his new ship was rather big and had been previously owned by a smuggler before Cimrab's friends had stolen it, he searched it for secret cargo holds, and found many, so he decided to become a smuggler. But knowing there weren't many Mon Calamari with blue eyes, and he still didn't want to be recognized, he bought a pair of Mon-cal-sized yellow contacts, making him look like any other Mon Cal. But that would not be enough, so he had to make up a name for himself. He called himself Toka, the name of a dangerous predator found in Dak's oceans
He got to work soon after, and became a very wealthy, well-known smuggler on the moon after only another two years. He was able to buy a high-rise apartment on the moon, and upgrade his ship considerably, giving it one of the fastest hyperdrives in the system and also some of the most powerful guns on a ship of that size.
He continued working solo like this, getting wealthier and wealthier, for ten years. By now he owned most of the building of which his apartment was in, and rented it out for a low price. He still
went by Toka, and always wore his yellow contacts. After three years, he heard of a terrorist attack on Dak, in which his father, who was still the Senator had been seriously wounded, and had to step down.
Cimrab bought one of the best formal suits from Dak he could find, and headed there to see his father. Everybody was stunned to see him, but relieved. Cimrab asked why, and they explained that a corrupt Mon Cal politician was running for Senator, and only a family member of the previous senator could automatically take his place. Cimrab remembered all his senatorial training from his youth, and took the title. Despite him have being missing for over a decade, nobody, aside from the corrupt Mon Cal who's position Cimrab had taken, objected, but instead waited to see if he messed up. Cimrab didn't. Remembering everything from his training as a youth, as well as a few new tips from his father, he did very well as Senator.
Still loving the life of adventure, ever other week, Cimrab would retake the name of Toka, return to Nar Shaddaa, and live his life as a smuggler for a few days, before returning to Dak or Coruscant.
