She was at attention the whole time, even when told to stand at ease, the tension holding her tongue tight, her training holding it tighter, keeping her from Celebrating aloud when she was told by Bane that she would accompany his team, and the reason he hadn't assigned her to one from the start. A brief smile was all that she allowed to cross her face.
Staring into Mandalore's eyes, Celke, inhaled, showing her respect for the man in her own way, by not backing down. There were few males that she truly Respected, and he was one of them.
My Lord She said to him, then turning to Bane, My General... she added, bowing her head. I thank you for this chance. I will be there, and you will walk a pathway paved in the Blood of your foes she added, Saluting once more, then turning briskly, leaving the room, her body light with pleasure at being allowed to join the mission.

Solus'ad saw Italia Make her exit, and he slipped out the same way he came. He had one loose end to tie up. He caught up to her in the hallway. "Italia." He called out to her as she walked. When she stopped he approached and crossed his arms. "So, since your dropping with us, we need a pilot. Do you have a Pilot you trust to fly your ship?" Solus'ad's eyes seemed genuinely inquisitive. "I'm sure whoever you pick will be fine, since you have such a strong connection to the Ghost, and you wouldn't let anyone but you fly her. I would, however, like to know."

Heaving a sigh, and taking a glance over her shoulder, she'd seen that a new person had started talking to Bane and Sol...Mandalore. He would be busy for a while no doubt and she DID have people to see and things to do...she could talk to him about a pilot a little later today. With that in mind, she wrapped that mask around her again and headed off in the direction of nearest exit. She paused slightly in her walk as she came nearer the mess hall then decided against joining her brother there. With a grimace...a mix of emotional pain, guilt and a bit of something akin to self disgust...she shook her head and started walking again. She just couldn't face him right now. It wasn't long after that when she heard that familiar baritone voice calling her name. Pausing, mildly puzzled, she turned to him and smiled brightly, waiting for him to catch up to her.
You bellowed?
Her voice was light and teasing even as he folded his arms across his chest. Ah, so he was just as curious as to how the Star was going to fly herself out of atmo as she was! Lia smirked slightly and repositioned her helmet under her arm. That smirk turned into an impish little grin as she noted the rain slick again. That was swiftly becoming a favored article of clothing of his since she thought he looked rather...she stopped that thought right there as she 'hmmed' slightly at the rest of his words.
Well, honestly, there's only one other person aside from Itani who I'd let fly the Star without me, but....
That country accent was creeping up again and she wondered why. Another thoughtful sound escaped her and she sighed slightly as she ran a black gloved hand over her face.
...well here's the problem with 'im. He's here, an' he's offered...thing is...he's not mando. I doubt Bane'd take too kindly to that, but you're the big boss around here so...
He's a merc and a smuggler. Damn good pilot too since I've seen 'im do some tricky maneuvering with the Star already involving a severely damaged fighter and that docking clamp the Star has...and we were all on the move. Anyway...point is, I trust 'im not to hurt 'er, and since he's done some work on 'er before I trust 'im to fix 'er if somethin' goes wrong.
She paused a moment, thinking once more, her fingers tapping lightly against her helmet.
What ta do about a co-pilot is the thing. It would likely be one of my clan. Maybe one of the Hart boys...they've helped me run shipping in the Star once or twice as co-pilot and they know Daryn enough now not to raise a fuss.
She gazed steadily at him, trying to discern just what it was he was thinking about her idea for a non-mando pilot for their mission.
Also, while I have you here...do we...have a plan for gettin' Ark down that cliff without alterin' the whole damn place of him bein' there? I mean, we're easy enough....we can get in silent, but I'm thinkin' a giant cyborg isn't gonna be goin' down a cliff to quietly.
She chuckled slightly and shook her head.
...hell, last frame he had didn't even WALK quietly...

"you bellowed?"
Mandalore chuckled at the thought of his braying like a Nerf, and he shook the thought from his mind. It was for the breifest of moments that Solus'ad realized just how gratefull he was that he had met Italia Firians. She had a way of makeing life fun. For the longest time Mandalore felt that his most enjoyable moments would be to give orders to kill republic troops.
He grinned at her. "Eyes forward Lieutenant Firians. This is business." He held his grin so she would know he wasn't mad at her.
Mandalore listenned. A smuggler eh? Solus'ad thought to himself. He sounded like the right man for the job. Many smugglers knew tricks that soldiers trained to pilot a ship wouldnt. From the sort of stunts he pulled he sounded Corellian. They were definately a mercenary lot, from Solus'ad's previous experience.
"It's an inspired idea to be sure. Find out what the smuggler wants in payment for his services on delivery. As for Ark, I was just going to head over to the hangar and check on him and his new body, we'll need to figure out something for him I'm sure. Could be a simple solution in there, could be not." Mandalore leaned his head toward the hangar, beckoning for Italia to go with him. "Shall we visit your Ba'buir?" He said with a smile, his scar deforming slightly. With a slight pivot of his feet he straightenned out and began their walk to the Hangar.

She was not only caught of guard by his words, but completely baffled by them. Her eyes widened slightly as, for the briefest of moment, she thought she was actually in trouble…but then that silly grin of his let her know otherwise. AH! So he COULD tease! Well, one tease deserved another. She narrowed her eyes slightly and smirked at him cattily before standing straight, her face becoming serious as she gazed up at him.
Permission to speak freely, Sir?
She waited until he gave her that permission…and until she was certain there were no others within easy sight of her antics…before grinning and poking her tongue out at him for the briefest of moments (barely long enough for even him to register), before it was gone again. Oh, it was just too much fun teasing him. There just something…different…about Solus’ad, and Lia couldn’t quite make out just what it was. It wasn’t because he was Mandalore, no…since the beginning she’d tried to treat him like she would treat anyone else, or like she herself would want to be treated. He’d reacted in kind, so it wasn’t that he commanded her respect. Really, once she’d started talking to him, he’d earned that respect swiftly. No…there was something else. It made her comfortable around him, and truth be told, she had a difficult time keeping up that soldier mask around him.
You’re horrible…Sir.
Now it was back to business.
Speaking of business, it seemed he wanted to do business with Daryn. Again she was surprised by him, though immediately after she felt that surprise, the auburn chuckled and shook her head. She shouldn’t have been so surprised.
I needed to talk to him today anyway. He was adamant about it when I informed him I was joining the military. Besides, he needs to quit working on that dratted ship of his. I swear…if he could fuse himself too it, he very well might.
She chuckled a bit and shook her head at the thought. As he mentioned going to see Ark, Italia had to try not to look too happy. She actually needed, well wanted rather, to show off the way his armor had turned out so beautifully for her. Italia nodded.
Yes. I needed to thank him for the armor anyway.
With that she followed him down the corridors toward Ark’s hangar.
As for getting him down the cliff face without many noticing….I have an idea, but it’s only a rough one. It should work though…and if this frame is like the last one at all….I’m pretty sure I saw thrusters on it. If so it should be enough to get him down from the Star quietly….well, heh, relatively quietly anyway.
((I suppose we’re moving to Hangar Relics thread then ^_^))

((Jace, I wasn't aware that others knew about Ambria's leg... unless it's in her medical record?))
As the general started speaking, when the trio had gathered, Ambria tried her hardest to calm herself. Her heart was still pumping out its own staccato drumbeat against her chest, and again she hoped it wasn't as loud as she thought it was. It appeared that it wasn't a coincidence that the three of them had been called forward, since he was speaking about their previous mission, and their actions of said mission.
Ambria's heart finally slowed down as she thought she knew the reason for this little meeting. It was just a little pep talk... a talk she wasn't sure she deserved for not contributing much to the mission, being stuck on the Star when her comrades, including Mal, were fighting for their lives inside the museum. And without talking to the woman, she knew that Trin must have been feeling the same. Why had the general lumped the two of them in with Bane? It couldn't be another briefing of the Reclamation mission, it had been weeks since they returned. So what was up?
Her eyes widened slightly as Bane stepped over to Mal and presented him with an added rank insignia. This wasn't just a little briefing meeting or Coruscant reunion, then... Ambria's heart quickened again then, wondering if they had all been called up for promotions. She was so stuck on this thought that she didn't have time to smiled her congratulations at Mal, knowing he deserved the commendation. Or to realize that she needn't be nervous about getting a promotion; she hadn't been back with her former unit when she was raised to an officer's rank, gaining her current second lieutenant status.
Ambria swallowed quickly and sucked in a deep breath as Bane came to stand before her. She barely heard his words as she wordlessly took the offered rank bars. A full lieutenant! Never did she think she would make it this far when she had left her homeworld a decade before, nor did she think she would get a promotion this quickly after the last. One transfer, one mission, one promotion. She stared blankly at the silver bars for a moment, thinking that she didn't deserve this. Especially if the general was only promoting her for her potential. But she dare not call him out on it.
When she came to, Bane was already handing Trin her new rank, and Ambria forced a smile on her face, still too nervous and conflicted to smile naturally. He had stepped back and she joined the other two in offering her congratulations, dwelling more with Mal than with Trin. Not that the woman didn't deserve her promotion, but Ambria was just especially glad for Mal and his achievement. If she made it that far up the ranks before she gave her life for The Cause, she wanted to be a soldier like the big humanoid. Selfless in all respects.
She broke from the group and left the briefing room then, her fingers shaking slightly as she pinned on her new rank bars. Though, during her short walk from the room to the mess hall she had come to terms with General Haseful's reasons for promoting her, it would still take some getting used to, for sure.
