The Eschyr Free Hangar.
Free Hangars were one of the few things that made Commenor Special. While most hangars required a ship's information and proper identification to function, free hangars allowed a one-day visa without information for new ships. These visas came at a very high price, but Emmira Lott could afford it.
She had had LL-6 dock her new ship and waited for the droid to finish before sending him off on repair duties around the ship. Something had to be wrong for her to have gotten lost. As she leaned against the wall, she remembered vaguely the last time she had made the wrong hyperspace codes. She mystily wondered where Handen was in the big wide galaxy before bringing herself back out of the past and to the flashing light off in the distance.
A cantina. Even after all these years, she enjoyed the feel of the entertaining establishment that was so very common in the galaxy. There were no strings attached. Every Cantina was the same, and every cantina was home to the smuggler. So, as she always did, unable to help herself, Emmira Lott sent LL-6 to watch the ship as she descended beneath her towards the already bustling cantina.
"Never know who you're gonna meet..."
She said, quoting her mother as she sat back. She'd get a drink later. Maybe somebody would buy her one...

Armen walked out of the Casino after a long day. The Job sucked, but the pay was half decent. A couple more months and his ship would be ready to go. Where he had no idea, but Armen didn't like to stay in one place for to long. He hung up his uniform and got into a pair of black cargo pants and a black Tshirt. The colour suited his physique and face well, at least he thought so. He looked in the mirror, and ran his hand through his hair, then headed out, towards his favorite Cantina.
The cantina was one of the seeder on Commenor, located not to far from the Free Hangars, it attracted all sorts of scum and general galactic detritus. Perfect for laying low, or getting some action.
When he arrived he walked in and spotted a new face, well, new in a couple of ways. It wasn't one of the regulars, that was for sure, she was way to....clean. Next of all, she wasn't armed. Neither was Armen, but he was on a first name basis with at least 50% of the crowd, and knew the vast majority of them, so being armed was sort of pointless.
Armen decided aganst approaching her at first, she looked like she was waiting for something. And he decided to make her do so. Armen went around and made his rounds, saying hi to a couple of smugglers who he had caught a ride with once, and talking about the podracing back on Tattooine with another. He glanced over, it had been about 10 minutes since he entered, and she was still alone. And looked to be a little...lonely. So, in his direct fation, he approached and sat down beside her.
So, new around here?
He said, looking at her while leaning on the table with his arm, wearing a crooked smile.

She spotted him once he came inside. Then again, Emma spotted everybody. It was one of the reasons she was so good at what she did. He fit into this cantina perfectly, to her dismay. Not that she found him in any way unique. She just found it sad that all smugglers were the same way. They gave smugglers like her a bad name. They might be scoundrels, but she liked to consider herself a lady, for what it was worth.
She often resented the average smuggler for this. Mostly because they all were pigs. She'd seen them, most of them were older, fatter, and filthier than any decent man should be. The worst part of it all was that they all thought she was like them. Just because she was a smuggler, they all thought she must like swoop races and guns and lots and lots of alchohol. Not that she didn't like all those things, she just wanted somebody to think of her as a girl for once.
And, apparently, this newcomer at least noticed the fact that she was. And though he was way too... dirty, she decided to humor him. With any luck, she'd never see him again... She turned and faced him, gracelessly blowing her hair out of her face.
"I'm new here today, if that's what you mean... You look like you've been here a little longer..."

Hey, whats that supposed to mean?
He said, with a grin.
I'm only...half...as dirty as anyone else in this fine establishment...which brings me to a question. And that is, what brings a girl like you to a place like this? Not to say that there's anything wrong with it, but a guy like me just wonders about these things..
He said, as he turned and looked over at the bartender, signaling for two beers.
Armen was a little perplexed as to why a girl like her would put herself into a place like that. Not that it really mattered, if she was a smuggler, or a trader it was fine. He'd seen a number of them that lived out of their ships and didn't look, nor smell, like it. But they were few and far between. Especially the female ones...which is why he found himself at a table with one of the traders described above, awaiting a response. If she had a ship, she might need crew. Crew meant money, money meant ship, ship meant getting off Commenor.

"A girl like me?"
She asked, with a sarcastic flip of the hair before resuming her deadpan facial expression, glancing around the cantina as she spoke.
"I got lost. Hyperspace codes didn't work. Happens sometimes. But don't worry about me. This is one of the last places in the galaxy I want to be."
She said, noticing an even more disgusting man at the bar winking at her and smiling. She knew that look and realized that in a place like this, a female alone was like prey. Emmira didn't want to be prey, so she had so stop being alone. She looked back at the newcomer and sighed.
"...Would you like to sit down?"

Armen chuckled at the reason for her being there. Hyperspace codes have a tendency of doing that when an inexperienced pilot enters them, or just an excuse to not tell him who she was running from, he thought to himself.
Certainly.
He said to her, sitting down across from her.
I wasn't worrying.
He started, waiting a second before continuing.
But accidents like that usually happen for a couple of different reasons. First, because the pilot who entered them did it a little wrong. Or second, because they are running from someone and don't want to tell the good looking smuggler who just sat down opposite them the truth. Either way, I've been at this to long for you to fool me on this one. So lets hear it sister, what happened? The cats out of the bag so you might as well tell me.
He said, with a wide grin, before taking a swig of his beer and putting it back down as he leaned back in his chair.

"Oh... you think you're witty, too..."
Emmira sighed, glancing around the cantina before finally answering his question.
"You wanna know the real truth? You really wanna know?"
She said, motioning for him to come closer, adding to the overall drama of the situation he had managed to create of of thin air. Once he got close enough, she said, in a soft voice.
"you got me. The truth..."
She paused.
"...The truth is that I can't fly worth a frag..."
She said, leaning back away from him, grinning just ever so slightly.

Well it wasn't necessarily flying per say, but it was close enough. Even though he hated it every moment of everyday it couldn't be helped. Being a taxi driver was the only job he could get here. It wasn't the best paying job either, but then again, it paid for his alcohol and that was good enough.
Nowadays he was a bit scruffier than he was back in his academy days. The stubble was a constant object on his face and the mop of black hair that lay across his face was another reminder of how far he had fallen. His shift was finally over and he was at his favorite dive for days like this. Of course every day was like this to him.
He walked into the dimly lit cantina that lay at the outskirts of the Free Hangars and stopped for a second to let his eyes adjust. The distinct smell of different species and different cigar smoke pelted the air. Alex glanced around a bit as he made his way to the bar and notice the usual crowd in here, with one exception. There was a familiar face trying to woo a beautiful young female at a table near the bar. He nodded to the bartend as he approached.
Corellian Whiskey, Wyvern's Reserve on the rocks. Rocco.

Five half drunk humans wondered into the cantina. The leader, a mercenary by the name of Kor Mehk, glanced around the bar and spotted a couple sitting there. The female looked new. An off wordler. He turned toward his comrades. "Hey boys... We'll get to wokater..Boga can wait, but I cant." Kor turned toward the bar and stumbled toward the two. He stepped in between them. "Hey tere lil girly." His words slurring together as he motioned toward the bar tender. "Two Coruscant coolers for me and the pretty girly."

Armen chuckled, it figured she couldn't fly. His luck that someone might need a pilot.
So do you need a pilot?
He asked, leaning forwards a bit.
I know for a fact that I DO know how to enter hyperspace codes, if that helps at all. And a little more, been at this awhile you know.
He said, hoping that she'd need a Pilot. He wanted off that rock, he had stayed in one place for to long and he knew it.

Alex downed his whiskey when he received it and set the glass down for another. The bartender, Rocco, started pouring him another after he gave the couple two beers.
So Rocco, who won the swoop races last night? I didn't get a chance to watch them. Was having to pull a doulbe shift to cover for Farin.
Again the pilot downed his drink without hesitation and set the glass down for a third time.
You should know stang well who won last night Alex. Everyone know Jettz is the best swoop racer this side of the Rim, if not the whole galaxy.... hey Alex you working tonight too? Maybe you should lay off the whiskey there my friend.
Alex downed his third whiskey in the last fifteen minutes. He just shook his head as he set the glass down again. He was already starting to buzz.
I knew I should have gotten something to eat before I came in here. Now I feel like a teetoler. He thought.

(Yeah, keep that in mind, we use SW drinks. As for the Hutt plot, you would post elsewhere on Commenor. Technically, Borga and our characters have never met or heard of one another. We still have to piss you off before you can go after us.)
Emmira sighed. Everybody always wanted something when they were talking to her. Especially men. They were the worst about it. Thought they were entitled to it or something. Though, she was glad that this one was interested in something different, for once.
"Thanks for the offer, stranger, but I tend to avoid pilots I don't know. Besides, if you were any good, you wouldn't need my ship to get off this world, and we both know it."
She said, quickly dismissing the idea altogether. Still, as she sipped her drink, she felt obigated to continue the conversation, at least until the drink was gone.
"So, what's your story, stranger?"

Ouch.
He said, realizing she was right about him. Armen pondered her next question for a second before answering.
Well...I was a smuggler, working for some Hutt who I went through a middle man to get loads and payment from. Did a couple of runs for him, moving weapons and the like. So I jumped into the system he told me to go to to drop the load, and I got jumped by about 5 pirate fighters, and 2 freighters which were rather heavily armed. Now, at this point my ships packed full with about 65 tons of Ryl, guns, and Kolto. I run Kolto so if I get stopped the authorities see it and let me go, thinking I'm legit. Anywho, So It ends up that the contact was an informant for these pirates, and It was me or him. So I dumped the load, took out 3 of the fighters and ran out of there as fast as I could. I got here, and set the ship to go to hyperspace on a course that would take it out of the galaxy, and have been laying low ever since....trying to avoid the Hutt's Bounty hunters.
Armen explained, taking a swig of his beer as he finished the story.
What about you?
He asked her.
((OOC: I know this isn't exactly what happened in his bio , but he wouldn't reveal everything off the hop.))

She nodded absently at his story. The way he told it, he made it sound like his was the only story in the galaxy. Everybody always did. His question, though she knew it was coming, surprised her in the way he presented it, as if he expected an answer like his own. Emmira looked up, blinked a few times, and answered.
"My name is Emmira Lott."
She said, pausing and taking a sip. Once she finished, a silence followed as she sat content. Once it became obvious that he awaited a response, she clarified.
"Sorry, but that's all you're gonna get."

Armen cocked an eyebrow.
Well, Emmira , thats not very nice.
He said, knowing full well that he was not going to get anything out of her. If this Emmira character wanted to be secretive, then so be it.
Soo...do you watch Swoop racing at all?
He asked, trying to get some kind of further conversation going.

"Not really..."
She said, somewhat reminded of an evening she had spent on Coruscant. It ended just as awkwardly as this one was shaping out to be.
She sighed again.

He looked at her. Their little conversation wasn't going to well, and if she didn't like swoop racing then she wouldn't like Podracing for sure. He scratched his head then came up with a plan that could not fail, a line that would solve all.
So...Where ya from?
He asked, hoping that at least that much she was willing to divulge.
