Tardyon was asleep in the jungles of his home planet. He was eventually woken by the natural noises of the jungle; the hum of Jaax mosquitoes as they buzzed around his tent; the chirping and twitters of the birds flying from tree to tree. As he came out of his tent he was greeted by a lone Tach, hopping around the area. The fire that he set the night before was now burnt out, with the half eaten red meat suspended over it.
Wookiees were well known for their natural ingenuity, especially in construction. Tardyon made his own tent simply from tree branches and other flexible materials. There was a saying often spoken by the Wookiees that goes, ‘In the Jungle, anything is possible.’ He would soon begin his next day of hunting the dangerous creatures of Kashyyk...

After spending several weeks hunting independently, He learnt much about the prey of the jungle. Hunting animals was not as simple as it may first seem. They may only have basic impulses, instincts and emotions that make them seem more predatory than intelligent, but in the jungle, these instincts are crucial and serve them well enough to help them survive.
He learnt much more than he did while he was with his old tribe. His elders did not allow him to run off hunting on his own, afraid that he might become crazy, thus being named a mad claw; the most disgraceful moniker a Wookiee can be given.
He soon thought that it was time to hunt true prey, the prey of the galaxy. This was the role of the bounty hunter, the elite among the best huntsman, and it is what he now lived for. He craved the hunt, and it mostly kept him alive to this day…

A beat-up Corellian frieghter screamed through the sky. Taking out the tops of trees it hurtled past a Wookiee settlement in the trees, still going like the devil himself was chasing after it. Finally, as it neared the forest floor, it slowed and landed. Smoke was pouring out of it in at leat three places.
Inside a man was sighing in the cockpit.
"Whew! almost didn't make it!" he chuckled to himself and said something about how no one could catch him.

(Yeah, also if you try and type c o c kpit, it comes out as thingypit. XD)
Tadyon saw the smoke coming from a clearing about a quarter of a mile away. Realizing that someone else other than the Wookiees was here on this planet, he decided to explore. He took his blade and his bowcaster with him and made his way towards this disturbance. Not wanting to attract attention, he began climbing through the trees, cautiously.

(it's not a bad word though, its sc re amed)
Varn started to assess what the smoking was. He probably just overheated, after all, it's hard work outrunning a republic cruiser. He would fix whatever needed fixing and get off of this planet. The noises were starting to creep him out.

As he climbed the tree’s he eventually approached what appeared to be a battered freighter. He saw a man on the outside of the ship, attempting to fix the damaged parts with haste. He had obviously not been on Kashyyk before and was attracting a lot of attention, something which Tardyon used to his advantage as he swung around trying to get a better look at the area.
The noises of the jungle distracted him, while Tardyon was able to move slightly closer without the human noticing. While he had his back to him, to took the opportunity to jump down and ambush him from behind, though he did not intend to attack him.
Tardyon: The beasts of Kashyyk will devour you and your ship if you don’t depart promptly, human. You do not belong here...

Varn jumped about a mile out of his boots. After he got back his breath he replied, in the wookiee's own language.
Didn't your mother teach you not to scare people?
He had stopped the smoking and was climbing back down his ship.
I thought Wookiees weren't supposed to be on the forest floor. Why are you here?

Why am I here? I was born here, human; I should be asking you that question. Only those still attached to their own tribes remain in the safety of Villages, built among the mighty Worshyr trees. I…departed from my own tribe long ago.
Few dare to walk the depths of the shadow lands, yet you are here, curious. Now I shall ask you human, why are you here?

I'm here because a Republic cruiser knew that I was smuggling weapons for the Bounty Hunters guild. They tried to arrest me so I came here, It's neutral space so they can't do nothin to me
He chuckled a bit at this. Then became a little somber.
I wouldn't have even been found by that cruiser if I had a navigator, though.

(Im going now. Um, im not sure what time it'll be from wherever you are, but I'll be back on later.)
You say you were smuggling weapons for the guild of the hunters? I never thought I’d meet a smuggler. I’m a hunter, and it is the hunt that drives me me. It is the reason I am what I am today.
Maybe you, a smuggler, are fixated by the pursuit, the thrill and adventure of being hunted and the danger of being chased across the galaxy or maybe, it’s just the reward and the money that drives you…

Probably both
He settled onto the lush floor of the forest, like a living carpet. H elooked at the big Wookiee.
So, are you with the guild?

Tardyon slung his ryyk blades and his bowcaster on his back.
Not at the moment. I just hunt the wild beasts of this world. They prove challenging enough to keep me eventful from day to day, but I constantly find my self wanting more. Perhaps the Hunters guild will provide me with greater challenges for the hunt. Tell me, where were you actually headed, human?

Perhaps, but if I’m going to journey with you, then you must prove yourself competent. I pick my targets carefully, and my allies all the more so. It is a simple matter, if you choose to do so, and if you are capable enough.
You must proceed into the jungle and kill a beast known as the Walluga. I have spent several days hunting them, but I have never managed to encounter one before; they are well known for avoiding Wookiees.
Tardyon then passed the human his bowcaster, a powerful weapon used mainly by Wookiees.
You might need this; Wallugas are not the most timid creatures you will face in the jungle. As proof of killing it, you will bring its ear as proof. The choice is yours human. If you will choose to do this, then proceed at your own discretion, and don’t worry too much about finding it; chances are, it’ll find you.
Tardyon then sat on a wooden stump and began sharpening his ryyk blade, awaiting the Human to either perform the task or leave.

Varn didn't know what a walluga was, but he really did need a navigator.
Yeah, I'll get that ear for you. Be right back.
He slung the heavy bowcaster across his back and trudged off into the Jungle.
Two hours of jumping at the slightest russel of the underbush, or the maon of some unknown creature came fuition. He was stumbling along when all of the sudden, he couldn't hear the birds anymore. There were large chewed corpses of many things here, some even looked like Wookiee bones. The smuggler gulped.
A thunderous roar from his left side made him turn. There it was, there could be no mistaking it. A Walluga. It was huge, it had six legs and was grey. It was ugly. It ran towrds him, trying to crush him underfoot. He got one shot off, a comlpete miss, before he rolled out of its way. He landed in a pile of hair hanging on a corpse.
Ughg, definitly a Wookiee.
It was heading back to him, and he shot again, hitting it in its body enfuriating it. It turned for another pass, he almost didn't get out of the way. It had trapped the stock of the bowcaster under its heavy foot. He could hear the sound of metal twisting. He pulled out his blaster and fired repeatedly into it. With an almighty yell, it fell.
He tiptoed up to the thing and inspecting it, couldn't tell if it was dead or alive. It didn't move when he cut the things ear off though, so that had to be good. For Varn at least, not the Walluga. He picked up the bowcaster. No serious damage done, just some minor damage to the stock, that could be fixed easy. He started his way back to the Wookiee and his ship.
A few more hours and he was sure that he passed by here at least four times. He was on the verge of actually admitting he was lost when he saw the outline of his ship in the trees.
Heres your ear, Wookiee.

Tardyon took his bowcaster back and took the ear, inspecting it.
I’m impressed human. I’ve heard dreadful stories about the Walluga, but you are obviously more capable than I first thought. I wonder if I could have done the same…but that is a matter for another time.
He then stood up promptly.
Very well, I will accompany you. I have keen knowledge in navigating the stars of the galaxy. Are you ready to depart?
