Ahto City, Manaan - the highly technological city afloat upon the surface of the vast ocean blue planet inhabited by the aquatic Selkath, who primarily reside within the vast underwater cities of the planet. While its primary industry is import/export of the kolto the Selkath mine from the depths of planet itself. It is also the primary location for any who are not an aquatic species to dwell, and the focal point where the Selkath conduct their commerce with other factions and planetary nations for economic trade from kolto to simple trade-goods. But, most importantly - it does not belong to the Republic, while an embassy exists, it holds no authority.
Which is precisely why Magdalena during wanderings feels at least somewhat safe there. She stowed away on more than one trade-ship to get herself further away from the Core Worlds, more specifically further away from Coruscant and... the Jedi Temple. It was not a difficult task for her to slip out of the light freighter she hid herself within, she merely went into a Jedi trance where she hid until it landed at its destination, and then crawled out of the ship while using the Force to avert the gaze of the crew enabling her to make presence unknown to them as she slipped away just as she had when she first slipped into ship a few days prier.
The security of the docks of Ahto City where the biggest problem to sneak around, but she was able to pose amongst another crew as they entered the city, using the Force to not take notice of her while she stood amongst them, thus slipping past the Selkath security into the city proper. Once inside the city it she was somewhat free then. The cool ocean breeze the city always holds as it floats on the ocean planet surface she took an instant liking to. With her lightsaber tucked away into the back pouch of her Jedi utility belt, it is easy for her to pass herself off as a mere Miraluka vagabond, something she is not too far from these days in fact.
Though still, while the Republic may not have authority on Manaan, it does not mean she wishes to be spotted by them. She is after all a rogue Jedi, having never formally left the Jedi Temple and never turned in her lightsaber, an encounter with them is the last thing she wanted as she is being searched for by the Republic authorities and the Jedi. It is fear that has been controlling her actions, always running - refusing to face what is troubling her, and her constant running is only digging herself deeper into greater problems.
Nothing ever seemed to feel right for her no matter where she ran, even the comforting oceanic breeze of Ahto City did little to distract her from her fears. It continually feels like to her as though someone ripped her faith away from her, and without it to guide her, all she can think to do is run away without any direction. Hiding amongst throngs of people - blending into the nameless rabble of people became almost a security blanket. Though in Ahto City, there is not much for large crowds to hide within, but nevertheless, she learned to her training to get what she needed or wanted during her time of fleeing.
In fact, as she was walking through the Ahto West Central area of the city, she used her telepathic ability to distract a shopkeeper running an open fruit stand to snag an apple while he was not looking. There was a certain level of pride to being able to that for her, though, while it is a low point - a little over a month ago the Council gave her the rank of Jedi Knight, a week later she ran away, and now a month afterward has sunk so low as to use her Jedi training to being nothing more than a stowaway and petty thief to get by. Still, she got her prize and was pleased with herself as the scrawny little Miraluka girl bit into the apple with a loud crunch continuing to wander about the city aimlessly...

((short *shrugs* better than a super-long post with a ton-o-fluff xD))
Manaan. The planet was enjoyable enough, as was Ahto city, her only real problem with the planet was that they constantly wanted to play neutral. While it was an admirable trait, they were often harder on Jedi than they would be on someone else... simply because they were afraid of being labeled as a 'friend' of the Republic. It was the indecisiveness of the government that really seemed to irk her. But that was Rhissai to her core, she always had to be moving, always had to be taking action... any kind of stagnation on her, or anyone else's part, just irritated her beyond belief.
An ever so slight sigh passed by the woman's lips as she walked down the white halls of Ahto city, she knew for a fact that they wouldn't allow Wrex within city limits. He was labeled a “dangerous creature,” therefore had to be transported in a kennel. She would never allow that. So the woman decided to keep him within her ship so he could at least have some space to move around, and some food to last him.
She and Keilara had been sent to Manaan to bargain for the release of Foke Viziard, a dignitary who had inadvertently insulted the government of Manaan and who was being held for questioning at that time. It was fairly easy to insult the on-the-fence gov't, especially when one had a little too much to drink at a dinner party meeting with the higher ups. “What a fun time this will be,” she thought with the slight shake of her head, “its almost too bad that a Force-inspired agreement will end badly in the long run.”
The woman stepped out of the customs office after a long talk about how “the activation of her lightsber would be looked at most harshly” and that “use of the Force is strongly discouraged” or some such. To be honest she found the whole thing ridiculous. Rhissai was a high council member, if there was one being in the galaxy that knew how to follow the rules and was benevolent... it was her. Her long raven hair swayed slightly as she shook her head and walked up to the little map of Ahto City... she just had to find the detention area....

((It's all good. )) There was little for Magdalena to do on Manaan other than waner about the city, misuse her training to get what she wanted or needed, such as food or a place to stay. There was nothing decisive or direct about her anymore, something very unlike her species or who she even used to be at one time. All she did was drift around like a feather caught in a breeze. No direction or purpose just floated around and avoided any form of resistance. Though, lately she thought her stay on Manaan had been extended for a bit too long as it was. Really, she had nothing to do there... or anywhere in fact... The city's high security made her unhanded methods with the Force tricky to use forcing her to be more subtle, crafty and careful. Even the apple she snatched by creating a telepathic diversion on the shopkeeper for her to steal it, she could only do it when security was not looking and the security cameras were at such an angle their field of vision was hampered. It was becoming too much of a chore. It often lead her to gravitate toward where she currently is, Ahto West Central, lurking about for spacer crews she could sneak amongst. Though, lately there had been few opportunities. After the theft of her apple, she bit into it once more with a nice loud crunch, but just after she swallowed her bite, she froze where stood. How could she not sense this presence? A knighted Miraluka of all beings missing that presence. Of course she knew whom it belonged to, she lived in the Jedi Temple all her life, and was knighted no more than over a month ago by the council. Ever so slowly the short, scrawny little Miraluka turned in the direction of the presence she felt ever so strongly. It still daunted her it hit her just then, she realized she had become far too lax and careless. To only just now perceive the presence of a member of the high council. Once her Force Sight looked upon fully who it was before her, standing all that far away in fact, Magdalena stood in awe - frozen where stood. Her apple dropped form her left hand with a wet thud and a bounce. Her eyeless sockets covered by her blindfold were wide in shock. She did not know what to do, where to go, where to run - run that is what her mind kept screaming at her to do, but she could not or at least yet... she found herself standing there unable to move - she was afraid - fear had its full grip on her.

Keilara finally exited the ship to trail after Rhiss. Every time she'd tried to leave Wrex would whine at her and the woman would find herself coaxed back into the ship. She'd given him a bowl of water, checked to make sure he had food, dug up something for him to chew on and loaned the giant animal her pillow. Finally sneaking out she sighed in relief and tried to sense Rhissai's presence.
There... she'd pinpointed the aura that was so very much the Jedi Master she adored. Checking that her lightsaber was attached to her belt, and hoping fiercely she wouldn't have to use it, Kei headed out of the docking area.
Customs was a breeze for the woman, she could sense the desire to keep their planet free of violence and used the training she had received in diplomacy to smooth through things, leaving with a pile of pamphlets and a kindly worded reminder not to ignite her lightsaber within the city limits.
Kei's eyes wandered the forms that scurried in the street outside the customs office. It was not hard to miss the Jedi Master in the crowd and she moved swiftly towards Rhiss, pausing at her side.
"I was told the detention area is here Master." Kei pointed to an area north and left of where they were.

The woman had noticed that Keilara was still at the ship with Wrex, apparently finding it particularly hard to part with the creature. Rhissai had tried her best to stay unattached to the Vornskr that resided in her ship, though she found it exceedingly difficult to keep such a bond from forming. She had raised the creature since he was but an orphaned and scared puppy, she was simply wantedto ensure that he wasn't locked up in a cage or zoo for the rest of his natural life. That was the reasoning that Rhiss used on the Council when she first discovered her companion in that cave... but now she wasn't so sure that was accurate. The woman sighed and shook her head in an attempt to keep her mind locked on the task at hand: Finding the detention area.
A tan finger pointed up to an area to the northwest of her current position on the map, and Keilara's voice rang in her ears not long after. It was at that moment that the woman both cursed at herself and felt a certain kind of pride for her padawan, she cursed because it slipped her mind to ask where the detention area was. Rhissai was proud because it didn't slip her padawan's mind. She shifted her gaze down towards her blonde haired woman at her side and offered her a small smile.
“Thank you, Keilara, now shall we go and barter for the dignitary's rel-”
A wave of fear hit her mind. This was not the kind of fear one would expect as an incorporeal attack from a Dark Jedi, nor from a civilian in trouble. It was the kind of fear that was directly because of her presence, and there was only a few kinds of people who were afraid of Jedi. Criminals, Jedi who left the Order on unfriendly terms, and Dark Jedi. Sometimes a being could be wrapped up in a combination of all three. The woman turned around, attempting to ferret out the source of the fear with her eyes and ethereal senses.
It didn't take long before she pinpointed the epicenter of the fear... it was a young miraluka woman. Rhissai tilted her head ever so slightly at the familiar looking woman. She held that position for a few short moments before walking towards the girl, sending waves of calm and other warm emotions along the way, and stopped just out of arms reach. There was no need to scare the girl any more than she already was.
“Why are you afraid of me, child?”
Her tone was surprisingly warm despite the rather blunt question. This would no-doubt cause some surprise to rattle about the young woman's form, perhaps fear as well. But she couldn't be certain of that. One thing that she could be certain of, however: Rhissai would know if this young Miraluka was lying. Three years of specializing in extracting information from people on top of considerable prowess in sense and telepathy made her fairly... adept... at spotting a lie.

The hues of the Force that composed the High Council member before her were nothing shy of staggering and overwhelming to her. Every High Council member she had ever come across appeared that way to her, though back then she had a far stronger center for herself and a sight from such a being was nothing short of beautiful. Now lacking any sort of center within herself, all those shades did was terrify her - as if she had forgotten how to receive them.
Magdalena staggered a step backward as the woman approached her, though a calm washed over her upon the High Council member's approach, which prevented her from taking another stumbling step back. Swallowing a bit of air - while she felt calmer - some of her fear lingered. The desire to run away remained ever present in her mind, though feeling a calm through the Force running through her negated her actually attempting to do so.
Looking up at the tall Jedi Master as she stood close to Magdalena, she again swallowed a tiny bit of air - she could not help but feel intimidated. Though, when she asked why Magdalena was afraid - she realized she was not here her for - of course not, she thought. why would a High Council member be looking for someone like her. She was merely being far too paranoid for her own good, though now she had no idea what to do, "N-Nothing... it's just Jedi of your caliber are hard to perceive at times...", while true it did not change the fact it was a blatant lie, another careless mistake on Magdalena's part, one never lies to a Jedi Master, "I'm... I'm sorry if... I bothered you."
Escape, leave - that is what she wanted - continuing to run away it is safest that way - to forget. To run is to be afraid but it is easier than having to agonize over confronting. Her gaze through the Force traced her way to what had to be a Padawan standing not far from her - the shades of the Force that composed her exclaimed it as strongly as those that make up the High Council member appearing all too familiar to her. But her gaze became downcast when she took note of the Master and Apprentice together, memories of her own former master flashed within her mind - the beginning and its end.
Being here is dangerous - if it becomes too clear Magdalena is on the run the High Council member could see to it that that she is hauled off to prison and back to Coruscant to face the Council. Another outcome among several she has been running away from, leading her to turn away and begin walking away - she had to evade the situation.

Fear. It permeated the very air that Rhissai breathed, despite the fact that she had sent a wave of calm towards the young woman via telepathy. The raven haired woman narrowed her eyes ever so slightly at the younger looking girl as she seemed to realize why she was so afraid. It wasn't because she was some common criminal, no, they tended to be considerably tougher... and have a considerably more malevolent aura about them. She was no Dark Jedi, while some did have an aura of Fear about them... they were more about showing their anger and hatred more than their fear.
That left one more likely option: Grey Jedi.
Though, the few Jedi that left the Order did so on friendly terms with the Council... most. The rare grey Jedi that leaves the Order suddenly and without giving up their lightsaber tends to fear the sight of other Jedi, especially one ranked so high as Rhissai. From her experiance, they tend to fear Jedi because they are afraid of being taken off to prison, and don't realize that all that is required is one thing: their lightsaber. It is the symbol of the Jedi Order, and is commonly associated with them. After leaving the Order it is the tradition of the Jedi to take the weapon of the one who left as the final thing that signifies the divide between them and the Order.
Rhissai looked over the woman's body language as she answered her, not even the slightest of movements escaped her scrutiny. She began to slip invisible tendrils out into the Force around her and this young woman, feeling out her every word as if they were a tangible thing. Her natural gift of discernment amplified by her feelings and power in the Force pointed towards one thing: lie. This only added to Rhiss' suspicians that this girl was a runaway Jedi.
"There is no need to lie, young one. I will not arrest you, nor will I try and cut you in half. Now, you knowing this, why did you lie to me?"
She asked, her tone calm and almost nonchalant. The woman decided to radiate a wave of calm, peace, comfort, and serenity towards this suspected grey Jedi. She definitely needed it.

The little Miraluka only got maybe one or two paces, if even that, from the Jedi Master before being frozen in the again in reaction to the Jedi Master's words. Her head held low, more in shame than anything else, slowly she turned back around to face the Master so near her. Feeling the waves of serenity can calm permeating through her, her head still held low as she commented quietly with her small voice, "You are a member of the High Council...", pivoting on her left foot casually she turned to face as she continued, "more than that... you're High Council Member Jedi Master Rhissai'arckan...", Magdalena shrugged her shoulders lightly though her posture unchanged, "Anyone who has served in the Order should know who you are... Especially to those of the Miraluka... High Council Members' auras in the Force are more distinguishable than even fingerprints... And I can only think my own sight has grown so feeble as to only perceive you until you were only a few meters away... Or think that maybe this is the Force's way of punishing me."
Passively turning her head away a little she at last answered Rhissai's question, "Paranoia... it made me think you had come here for me... It was a stupid and silly thought that someone of your standing would be after a low-ranking runaway like me... But, paranoia makes one think stupid and silly things... even thinking they can get away with lying to a Jedi Master like yourself."
It was more than indicative to even a layman at this point, she was feeling uncomfortable and as before only wanted to run, but now also had the confliction of being uncertain if she should stay as well. In the next moment she passively inquired as if expecting a verdict to her fate, "What are you going to do with me?", perhaps it was the calm that was being projected into her, but from somewhere within her she managed to muster up enough moxie to defiantly state clearly, "I am not giving it up.", a clear reference to her lightsaber as she went on to say out of her defiance with a more than possessive tone, "It is mine - it belongs to me.", her attitude abruptly changing even looking as though she were willing to fight to keep her lightsaber in her possession even risking death for it, which would assuredly happen given the one she is standing before.

((x.x sorry for lateness, muse must have froze up north. Anyways, happy late birthday =D))
Rhissai gazed out at the little Mirakluka girl as she once again tried to "escape" from the situation, only to freeze at her words. The raven haired woman tilted her head slightly as the girl hung her head low and quietly commented on Rhiss' accolades... the purpose of the girl doing this escaped the High Council member. She was never one for flattery, not even back on Aphithiri when it was almost a second tongue. "Ahh... so that is the purpose of her little speech. She is commenting on her own force sight."
Ahh... paranoia. Often times it skewed the lines of sane and insane thought. Fortunately this girl was smart enough, even in her paranoia, to have not made a radical decision when she first saw Rhissai. It was more than obvious to the woman that this girl was uncomfortable, hopefully her fears would be eased if she gave her name. Not even Rhissai understood that line of thought to be honest... she just needed a name to place on her face.
"What is your name?"
Her long raven hair wagged back and forth slightly as her head untilted itself, now it seemed that the girl was wondering what would happen to her. The Jedi Master was about to say "Nothing... so long as you give me your lightsaber," when the girl defiantly spoke. To say that this surprised the woman to no end would have been an understatement... it seemed that this young girl had some heart after all. But, the fact of the matter was that the lightsaber was the symbol of the Jedi, and she had lost the right to carry it upon leaving the Order. Instead of saying this, however, she turned to her padawan and gave a small smile.
"It seems that we've reached an impass, Keilara. The Order demands me to take her lightsaber, yet she refuses to give it.Normally this would be determined by a duel... yet we cannot fight here in Ahto City... not without being detained. So, tell me Keilara, what would you do?"
The warm smile on the woman's face then turned towards the Miraluka girl as she waited for her Padawan to speak...

Keilara had been watching the exchanged and weighing the words of each as they spoke. The Miralukan girl was ready to bolt, even Kei could sense that and it seemed that any attempt to take the girls' lightsaber by force would simply lead to her bolting like a bunny. And though Kei was certain that Master Rhiss could hunt the girl down once she went to ground, there was the question of if they had time to allow themselves to be sidetracked from their current mission.
"Master Rhiss... While I realize the rules of the council are very strictly laid out in manners such as these, I sense no ill will in her. Perhaps for the time being, the best course of action is to simply bring her along. If she isn't a danger to the order, I truly see little harm in her keeping her lightsaber. Being a Jedi is, to my mind, more a state of mind than a state of commitment to other people. The force doesn't just cast you aside because you chose not to remain tied to the temple."
She cast a glance at a chronometer hanging in the square and frowned briefly.
"We had an appointment is the main issue and we run close to being late for it due to my inability to extract myself from Wrex. If she is willing to come with us and assist us perhaps we can all reach some sort of agreement?"

((lmao Thanks And no worries, I've been out of commission a bit myself, been having a lot of trouble with internets lately )) "Magdalena Vaaz, former Jedi Knight and Apprentice of Jedi Master Elysis...", Magdalena stated Rhissai in a clear tone, the girl seemed to have finally begun to settle down. The little Miraluka looked to the Padawan the moment Rhissai questioned her, Magdalena recognized it as a small test, something Jedi Masters have done for ages. Though, her brow furrowed a bit in reaction to the Padawan's answer, her head tilting slightly she remarked though with the tensions eased now - her voice was quiet calm and direct in tone, "That is a large assumption. Sensing and knowing are two different things, while you sense no ill-will from me... I'm willing to kill - to fight - even die to keep my lightsaber in my poessession", those words held a strong earnestness to them, "... which is hostile... and bears ill-will to those who wish to take it from me." The tiny Miraluka shifted her stance as she crossed her arms under her chest as she reacted a bit perplexed by the Padawans' words, and stated with a concerned, cautionary tone while uttering something a bit odd for a Grey Jedi, "Padawan, a simple word of warning, do not throw away the tenets so easily for a stranger...", though she was a Jedi Consular, she is no warrior despite her prier words and conceded out of always being open to negotiation, "However, what sort of agreement do you have in mind?" Keilara schooled her face as Master Oona had always taught her to, though the desire to quirk an eyebrow at the other woman's words was fierce.
Better to watch and wait than give away intention...
"I made no assumption. You stated earlier you would attempt to kill Master Rhissai should she try to take it from you. I simply offered a viable alternative to violence at this precise moment. We have a pressing engagement and it may benefit all three of us if you were to tag along."
Kei then allowed the eyebrow to raise a little as she continued
"I highly doubt that you would want to impugn Master Rhissai's honor by calling her a liar if she chooses to let you come with us, and for the time being allows you to keep your lightsaber while making a final decision."
Once again Keilara reached for the peace she knew her words could bring and softened them once again.
"I did state my personal beliefs. A lightsaber is a tool that we create. It is a part of us and leaving the circle of the Jedi peaceably should not force us to turn over something that is imbued with a part of our souls. The determination to preserve your lightsaber just further re-enforces that fact to me."

((so sorry for wait and the quality x.x))
Rhiss tilted her head slightly upon hearing the name Elysis. That woman's case seemed to be at the front of the woman's mind as of late, despite the fact that it had been months since then. A pang of pity entered the woman's heart as she looked upon the Miraluka woman. She could only imagine the pain involved in one's master turning on them.
Then Keilara spoke. She tended to agree with her padawan, but her reasoning was... flawed. She was about to speak when the young miraluka woman, to her surprise, spoke before her. Furthermore... she was surprised that the woman actually decided not to further her own cause, and instead decided to teach her a little lesson. At least it saved Rhissai some breath.
She could sense her padawan wishing to speak again, so the high council member held her tongue, for that moment at least. Rhiss took this opportunity to try and find a decent reason for her to not try and take the woman's lightsaber by force. Which would be bad, moslty because it would mean a lightsaber fight. Which would mean that the local authorities would not be happy with her at all. Maybe even detain the three.
When one walked the path of the grey jedi one tred upon the edge of a knife: Stray but a little, and one would fall. If she fell with her lightsaber in hand than she would only be harming the galaxy, using the tool of the Jedi to slay innocents by the dozen. So, what could Rhissai do to stop that? She couldn't take her lightsaber, not in Ahto City. She couldn't convince the woman to return to the temple. So maybe, just maybe, she could attempt to anchor her to the light.
"The lightsaber. How much value does such a tiny thing of light and plasma really hold? The tool of a Jedi. The weapon of a Sith. At times, yes, it makes both significantly more than they are... but most of the time, it makes them much, much less. I would be willing to overlook that you had such a thing, if you agree to come with Keilara and I on our mission. Its a fairly simple one, all that we have to do is negotiate the release of a diplomat."
She paused for a moment, waiting for the girl's reply. Should she choose to go her own path Rhissai would, unfortunately, be forced to make battle with her. It would be irresponsible for her to allow her to leave with her lightsaber without first judging the side of the Force that she called home. And then, maybe then, would the woman allow Magdalena to leave with her saber.

(( Blah, no worries, I been having tons of connection problems, so haven't been able to be on as much as a I would. )) Magdalena nodded slowly in response to the Padawan, she was not about to argue with a Padawan nor get into a philosophical debate with one. She was a Jedi Consular... briefly... but that time is over, and so all she said in reply, "I understand your are offering another alternative, and I have no interest in fighting, being willing to do so and wanting to do so are also two very different things, which is why I'm inquiring about what your offer is." Her brow furrowed in when the release of a diplomat was mentioned, head tilting to the side as she pondered the notion for a moment. It has been awhile since she has had to negotiate anything of significant importance, these days it is mostly warping another mind to get a few credits to get by is all her "negotiations" have been based upon. Still she had to concede it was a good offer, as it did not involve bloodshed, and nor would she have to fight Rhissai for her lightsaber. Not exactly something she could refuse. Her expression turned a little downcast when Rhissai asked her what her lightsaber meant to her. The little Miraluka's voice went quiet as she answered with expression unchanged, "Everything.", with a little bit of a mournful sigh, "The Jedi Temple was a sanctuary to me, but now it just feels... empty, everything that was peaceful there simply feels empty... Without her - everything is empty... My lightsaber is not just a tool to me, nor a symbol of the Jedi - it is a memory that I refuse to let go of - it's mine.", looking back to Rhissai she went on to say, "I'll do whatever you want if it means to keep it. Helping release a diplomat is a small price."

((so sorry x.x Rhissai is still being disagreeable, I will try to keep up with her posts here. I don't know if SCB is still on her posting hiatus, so if need be we can just skip'er for now.))
It was Magdalena's response to Rhissai's little lightsaber speech that made the woman realize just how important the 'tiny thing of light' was to her. The pair of tiny cylanders that were clipped to her belt held memories of her late master, her friend, and adventures. Those tiny crystals meant so much to the woman, and she found that her mind reeled at the mere thought of losing them.
"I understand, Magdalena. More than you know. Follow me, we are late for our appointment. While I doubt the diplomat will be going anywhere, the local authorities may not be pleased."
With that, Rhissai turned around on a heel and walked towards the local authority's head quarters. Her stride was confident, and it held a sort of predatory grace unseen in most Jedi, or most sentients of the galaxy for that matter. The tall woman looked like some kind of beast on the prowl, her midnight mane swaying with the almost serpintine motion that wiggled her body from the hips up to the shoulders. Bright emerald eyes shifted about their environment until they saw the building, it looked simple enough. A few banners, loads of Selkath authorities loitering about outside, and a few speeders that served for ocean patrols.
The tattooed woman gathered a few odd looks as she strode up past the authorities, but she paid them no heed other than a nonchalant "morning, officer." There was no need for anything more, therefore no more was said. A Selkath with a translator droid greeted her at the door, then quickly wisked the trio into a private room. It took a few minutes, but a weary looking Selkath dressed in a uniform with commisoner's stripes finally walked through the door. The Selkath spoke in his raspy native tongue, "Master Jedi Rhissai, I am Commisioner Shesshkar. I understand that you are here to negotiate the release of one," he took a few moments to scan through the datapad, "Foke Visiard. He is charged with insulting our people here, it is a crime punishable by three to six years in prison."
To say that the woman was appalled at his reason for being arrested would be an understatement. While yes, she knew that he was being held for saying a few things about the planetary government, she did not realize that it was such a sentence.
"What did he say, Commisioner?"
"He insinuated that the our government was showing more favor to the Sith rather than the Republic. This was not the case, and he was arrested the next day."
The woman nodded slightly, while this revelation made a small shred of sense... it did not mean that it was right. At least now she and the other two women with her now understood what the situation was. Rhissai turned her head to the two, a slight smile hiding the disdain that her heart held. Her proceeding question was directed at the two women. Keilara because she was her padawan, obviously, and Magdalena because Rhissai needed to discover just which side of the Force that held her loyalties.
"So, what should be done?"

((No worries. I been swamped with RL crap lately. )) Wrapping herself up in her magenta mantle as she drew its hood over her visage a little more, Magdalena followed Rhissai and her Padawan. Idly through her unique sight inherent amongst her people, the little Miraluka gazed upon the city's people they past. Though once they begun to reach the city's authorities, the place instantly made her feel uneasy. She listened carefully to the situation as explained to them by the Commissioner, there were numerous thoughts she had on the subject. The primary one believing the Republic would be better off cutting their losses with the dignitary. In her mind expending resources to see to the release of a man who could not control their tongue in the overtly logistic society mired in pages of bylaws over the most minor things, is not worth the time to aid. When asked what she thought, the humorless disposition of the little Miraluka lead her to respond candidly, "The Republic would be better off letting him serve out his sentence. He should have known better than to place himself in such a situation. Still... with the proper level of persuasion, we can convince the Selkath to release him. Without drawing attention to ourselves.", implying using the Force to sway their minds going for most efficient and quickest route as she saw it. Magdalena pondered for a moment, "The trick being keeping it subtle. Too direct and the Selkath will catch on.", doing investigative work did cross her mind, but really - these days the girl primarily thinks about the most efficient route rather than the most diligent.

(( go ahead, you can slap me. xD I had a response to this all typed up like, six or seven days ago. I was just in such a rush that I never had a chance to post it, but my silly little brain thought I did. Million apologies. ))
The woman nodded at Magdalena's response, a few long strands and locks of raven hair falling away to the front of her form. It was almost the answer that the Master expected from a grey Jedi, who generally prefered the most efficient course of action possible. The answer, however, did little to further the Miraluka's case. Acting like most other known grey Jedi was not grounds to allow the woman to wield her lightsaber. Yet the Force began to send her subtle nudgings, silent whispers, and they all pointed her in the direction opposite of what the Order called her to do.
Green eyes shifted about the girl's tiny frame, as if trying to discern the answer through physical means. Rhissai's eyes slid closed as she opened herself to the Force after a short moment, she was allowing the Force's will to have a greater voice within her mind. The aged woman took care to shield her thoughs and memories, however, putting them on display for all to see... especially this miraluka... would be fool hardy. Rhiss' mind held knowledge that only a select few beings in the entire galaxy knew, and that information was to stay that way for as long as possible. The thought of a little grey jedi girl holding the knowledge of the events of Vreem's sojourn to Korriban caused a mental quiver in the high councilwoman's mind.
Rhissai shook her head gentley, throwing the stray musings out of her mind. They were beyond useless... they were harmful to the current mission. She would not take the little knight's lightsaber, nor would she impede her steps in any way, shape, or form. The raven haired woman would also not mention this girl in her report to the Order. Sometimes staying on the noble path was more important than staying on the path that your peers expected you to follow.
The woman turned her attention to the commissioner, who was still waiting for an answer. In truth, it would have been better in the long run for the Republic to allow Foke to serve out his sentence. They could easily replace the man, who had at least one hundred other diplomats behind him... vieing for a position on the planet. And he was, indeed, a foolish man for putting himself in a position to say such an... idiotic... thing.
Rhiss drew in a deep breath, acting as if she would speak much... when in truth she only intended to say little, "thank you for your time, commissioner. I was simply sent on behalf of the Republic to iterate that it fully supports the punishment that Mr. Viziard is serving." With that, she stood up and gave him a respectful bow before leaving the police station.
