But not as thrilling as jumping off.


And it was COLD. Absolutely FRIGID. Like, 35 degrees, and it was just about to start raining. X) But it was a blast.

Aaaaanyway, I lovelove LOVE your wings!!!!! Did you buy them like that, or did you make them? Most of the fairy wings are so tiny, but THOSE are FAERIE WINGS! xD

Well, got no updated pics of myself, but we did have some older pics of our 'sons'. It prolly has a lot to do with the fact that one of them had to be put to sleep less than 24 hours ago, and to be honest, I'm pretty shook up. Now you dog people who hate cats for some reason, I'm telling you right now to bite your fleshy little tongue. I am in NO mood for your opinions. I love all animals, dogs, cats, fish, lizards, raccoons (Hi Twys ;D), w/e- and these three are my first pets, ever, so to lose one at only 3 years old so suddenly, bloody hurts. But anyway, here are m'boys.


this is Max (my fiance got him years before we even met, funny coincidence though eh?), he's 11 I think, and jekyll n' hyde incarnate. During the day, this cat will sooner bite you than look at you. at night, all he wants to do is cuddle. And yes, he has one ear, lost it in a fight, badass eh?


another pic of Max- this shows how fat he used to be XD for the record, that foot rest is quite large, use that empty pepsi can as a reference but he's lost a lot of weight, and we're very proud of him! that was at our old apartment, before it flooded ~_~ and yes, he would take over my foot rest, and i'd be too scared to put my feet anywhere near him <_<


MAH BABEH! that there is my first pet ever, i'm sure those who talk to me have heard of my special needs kitty, and this is him. Meet Jerry everyone ^______^. He has a disease called Cerebellar Hypoplasia (google that sh!t), but it can't harm him anymore, he's just a little 'special' now. Ain't he adorable? he was like 8 months in this pic, but here we are, two years later, and he actually looks the same, but a bit bigger, especially around the waist

oh, and that fluffy white fellah under our bed is Patches, he was so jealous of Jerry for those first couple weeks XD


so, this is my favorite pic of Jerry. I dun think I need to explain why XD funny thing is, at the time this was taken, one of each of my pairs of shoes somehow gravitated over to the spot where he naps <_< he may be small, but he's feisty!


and here's Patches... he is the one we had to put to rest. Like I said, he was only 3 =/ Out of all the animals/pets I have ever met, none had as much personality, nor as much love as this fellah did. RIP Patch, I miss ya already...

So yeah, those're the 'boys' as my family calls 'em. Whether you like cats or not, these three made me realize how wonderful pets are- and that they are more than just that, they are members of the family. Y'know, I couldn't sleep, but now I think Imma go find Jerry and cuddle, he's good for that XD

Edit: Oh, and while we're on kittehs, behold the sheer adorableness of our very own Meira's Auggie!!!!

Awww! Thank you Max for linking that video!! Hehe. And to all those that watch it, turn your volume up so you can hear the music in the background... which I didn't even notice until I was showing the video to a friend!! It fits so well!

But yes, that's Auggie! His full name is Mr. Miyagi, but Auggie for short. I took that video not too long after we got him, at around 8 weeks old. He's now a little over 4 months old. I've got a picture of him with one of our dogs, Lexi. These two love each other. I was worried, when we first brought him home, that our two dogs would either hate him or be too rough with him. We had to keep Koda away from him at first, that big dog just doesn't know his own strength!



So that's Auggie and Lexi being good little pets! I think they'd just finished a romp of playing around the house. Just like how Auggie wrestled with that little toy bear, he does flips and jumps and rolls while Lexi just growls and tries to hold him down with her nose. Then he'll stop, and she'll start to walk away, then he jumps on her like the ninja he is and it starts all over again.... until they get tired and curl up in my husband's lazy boy.

Lexi is almost two and she's a brittany/cocker spaniel mix. We got her off craigslist. She's the boss around the house. I wasn't sure if we were gonna be able to keep her when I first brought her home. She was just downright mean to Koda! But, being as small as she is and Koda being as big as he is... she had to lay down the law or get trampled. I'm proud of my girl! When she's outside, ALL she does is run. With her nose to the ground, she moves and moves and moves. Never stops. But inside, all she wants to do is cuddle up with you. She likes to lay with me on the couch. She'll get on her back and start snoring, it's so cute!



This is my favorite picture of Koda. It's like he's saying "How YOU doin'?" lol. Just like the video of Auggie, this picture was taken just after we got Koda, so he's about 8 weeks old here. That should give you an idea of how big he is now at almost 2 years old!



Ok, this picture gives the above a run for its money as my favorite... This is Koda in his "awkward months" as I like to call them. As he grew, his ears started to stick up until they were these giant things on his head. At this stage, he had the ability to combine the two ears into one super ear on top of his head. I think it helped him hone in on a sound or something. In any case, he's only like 4-6 months old in this picture.

I'll try to get a picture of him now and upload it. For those of you that are wondering, Koda is half black lab, half wolf. How do I know this? The lady we got him from raises wolves. Apparently the neighbor's black lab had an itch that needed scratching and decided that the female wolves were the best bet. He's a brave dog I think. Anywho, so they had an unexpected litter. Koda was one of three and he was the only one that wasn't completely black. You can kinda see the white strip on his chest and the sandy brown on his left front leg in the picture. He's got that on all four legs. I'm taking him to the vet tomorrow, so I'll get an accurate weight for him. Last time he went in he weighed 100 lbs. But he's definitely somewhere in the 110-115 range now.
