The Story Behind: Neimoidia
It is very possible that every Republic Credit ever computed has been run through a Neimoidian computer at least once. This perpetually foggy world is ruled by a Trade Monarch. It is a world where commerce rules, and all are subject to the Almighty Cred. The Neimoidians also control a series of Purse worlds on nearby planets, with the commonwealth controlled from the governing body at the capital Koto-si (Though, really, the capital is wherever the money is on this world)
This world, however, is nothing much to look at. Any Neimoidian who is able to do so will leave Neimoidia as soon as possible. Those left on this planet are malnourished purposefully for work as labor drones in the Fungus fields, where Harvester Beetles till the fields constantly.
Nothing ever seems to happen on this unpleasant world, for the true story of the Niemoidians is on the Purse worlds.
