She was born on korriban but didn't stay there long, Right after her birth the people she would have known to be parents left with her, For tatooine. When they arrived on tatooine bandits attacked her parents ship and both her mother and father were murdered, There ship was torn apart by the bandits and Zana was found. The bandits did have rules against killing children, Luckily for zana eh?, So the bandits took everything, Including Zana, To there boss, Who decided that he would keep the child as his own. Not long after this event the bandits and there boss packed up and went back to Korriban where they were from. For a little while he slacked off of working to take care of his newly found child but once she was about a year old he began to jump back into work heavily. Her father would leave at all hours and stay gone for days at the time, Hunting down people, Stealing and murdering. She never knew at that age what was going on, All she knew is that he was gone.
When she was two years old she had to move again, Her father and all of his men got things together and they all left. The only thing that she remembers from that time was her father saying that they were going to hide on Coruscant. Her fathers and his men had killed two jedi that were on a mission to stop the crime boss. They had killed the jedi and they knew that the council would now have more jedi after them for there actions. So they went to Coruscant, Figuring it would be the last place the jedi would look for them. When she was three or so years old her father realized how aware and alert she was for her age, being very good and some things for her age. He didn't think much of it at the time but that was because he didn't know what was coming.
Just a few days after her birthday, making her three, the jedi found the crime boss and his men and most of them ended up dying as they went for blasters and began to fire at the jedi, One of the deaths did include her father, Who fell to his death right in front of her. The jedi took the little girl away front he place but one of the jedi quickly began to notice something about the child, She seemed extremely force sensitive, So the jedi took a blood sample from her and discovered she had a huge midi-chlorian count, So she was taken from that time and put in the jedi temple, Where she could begin her training, At her young age.
Being so young, It took her a while to get use to everyone but she got there, As she slowly began to pick up on her training and get use to the jedi ways, As she began to grow up she liked the jedi ways, Learning about lightsaber combat and the jedi code. While some of the other younglings would do some things wrong and get into trouble for doing other things, She never did a thing wrong and went through her training like an A plus student in school, Never failed or messed up a thing, She did things on her first try everytime. Like it was so easy. Of course things wouldn't always be that way for her but still, She did a great job in the beginning.
She loved the jedi training for the younglings and the jedi code, All of her time was spent in the temple making the best of her abilities, she never wanted to leave the temple or stop training. Seeing what some of the other jedi could do only inspired her to be better because she wanted to be like them and do the things that they did, Never having parents really helped because she never had anything to forget about or look back at and as her training went on the memory of the crime boss that took her in slowly faded into nothing and she had all but forgotten about his existence. She seemed to be exactly what the jedi had wanted in a younglings and they said she would be a great padawan. And she knew she would be as she continued to excel through her training, There was never an incident on recording or a moment that would have caused trouble with her. Nothing.
When the time came for her to become a padawan, She got her master and she quickly began her training there, As she wanted to uump right into all of it and do as much as possible. Like all padawans she took an extreme liking to her master. Her master was a female known to her as Amanda Katarn. She was a human as well. She made sure that Zana got just what she wanted during training, She taught her all about force powers and using them, Lightsaber combat. As time went on in her padawan training she showed and proved to her master that her focus was mainly in saber combat as she favored it quite a bit. After she excelled in every type of training course that the council had for a padawan, She really wanted to train with her master personally, Sparring, So she began to spar with her master day in and day out, Hours a day as she continued to learn all that she could about saber combat and the force.
After much training and hard work, She was sent with her master Amanda, to search Tatooine for something, She happily went with her master and they spent a few days on tatooine, She followed her master everywhere and watched out for her. The two ran into a few sand people while they were there but her master got what she was looking for and after a little while longer on tatooine they headed back to the council. Zana was probably 15 at this time now. her master was in her room working on some things as her pilot took care of everything else in the ship. Zana went to her masters room and had a talk with her about some things, Which all seemed useless and her master knew this, She knew that zana had a point in coming into her room and babbling on about all of this. At the end of the conversation Zana kissed Amanda, Amanda had no clue what to think, She wanted to be furious but she wasn't taught that way. She just remained seated and she began to talk to Zana about things, Mostly what she had just done. Once they arrived back at the jedi temple, Amanda went to the council and gave her information to them, It was what they needed. Amanda then went back to Zana and they continued there training together, They very rarely mentioned what happened on the ship, Amanda really didn't seem to have a problem with it, She wasn't that way but still, She understood her padawan.
After she turned 16 years old, She pumped up and excited, She had trained like an insane person basically since she was three years old, The council really seemed to like at her highly, As did her loving master. The two were once again sent on a mission, This time to korriban, Where Zana was born. The two always loved to talk to one another while they were on missions, It's one of the things that made them so close, The way they talked about things together. Amanda told Zana on this mission a lot about her training and the things she did as a youngling and as a padawan.
When the two got to korriban they started there search, They were here to figure out about some rumors, People were saying that a sith lord was here on korriban, They stayed there for days and searched the planet up and down but found nothing, Little did they know, it would be the them that was found. As they reported to the council that they had found nothing. A man in a black robe, His face covered completely, Attacked them. Zana was ordered to run on and start the ship with the pilot, So she did, The pilot was dead, But she knew how to fly it after all these years, She started the ship and got it into the air, Her master just made it aboard and barely escaped the hooded man with a red lightsaber.
they returned to the jedi council and reported what happened, She said that the man that attacked her didn't seem like a sith but she could have been mistaken, They thanked her and her padawan and they both left the temple, Zana continued to train with her master until they got orders check out an attack on naboo, They quickly got on there ship and headed there, They arrived on naboo and everything seemed fine. The transmission that they received was believed by them to have come from the jedi temple but it hadn't, It was indeed from the hooded attacker.
They went to the local where they told too and there is where the were attacked by the hooded man again. Now there was no ship to run into so they were both forced to fight the man, Who seemed to be quite skilled. He used only a single saber but he was an extremely good fighter. he fought the two for at least an hour, The battle was so tiring on both ends but they continued to battle. Zana was knocked down during the fight with a force push and she hit her head, She wasn't knocked out but it hurt and kept her down for a moment, The dark jedi fought Amanda, She was an awesome jedi but in the end she wasn't good enough as she brought her arms apart at the wrong time and the dark jedi stabbed her through the chest with his lightsaber, Zana was just coming to her feet as this happened, She froze in place and couldn't believe what she had just seen, Her master...
Anger was something that they were taught not to have, Love is something they weren't suppose to have either but she loved her master more than anything and was so anger as she saw her fall. She screamed and ran at the dark jedi, Attacking with with anger and hate, Swinging wildly, With so much emotion coming from inside of her, She backed the dark jedi into a corner with her relentless attacks over and over, And finally she came in with several attacks, Just slashing, downward again and again until the dark jedi's saber fell from his hand.
She stood there with her saber pointed at the unarmed jedi and she hesitated to kill him, It wasn't the way of the jedi but what he did to her master wasn't right. She started to lower the saber, The dark jedi took a deep breath and felt good, He got to live, Suddenly she yanked the saber up and cut his head right off of his shoulders.
She quickly went to her masters side, Amanda got to say but a few words before she died, But it was enough. Zana took her body back to the ship and she returned to the jedi temple and told them what happened. They took Amanda's body and held the right ceremony in the jedi temple as they burnt her body, Normally she would have left Amanda's lightsaber with her, But instead, Zana kept her own saber and her masters saber. Her master had told her that one day she would teach her how to use both if she could. So Zana kept her masters saber in hopes of one day learning how to wield two lightsabers at once.

Oh wow, Didn't she feel stupid, And to think it was that easy, Hmm, Maybe amanda was just messing with her, She looked over at her master with a big smile on her face and she giggled a little. Yeah this had to be a joke, Look at that stupid grin on Amanda's face. Zana lowered her saber and she deactivated it, She put it on her side and amanda just laughed at her. "It's not funny, Quit laughing." She just kept laughing as she spoke "I'm Sorry, I'm Sorry but i just think it's funny." Zana shook her head and rolled her eyes, It wasn't funny at all, Amanda was just making fun of her.
Zana turned around and she walked over to one of the windows in the ship and she leaned forward, placing both hands down right at the glass. She looked out into space and kind of sighed. Amanda quit laughing as she noticed something was wrong with Zana, She moved from the top of the table where she was sitting and she walked over towards zana "is something wrong sweetie?" Zana shook her head "Nothing worth talking about master." Amanda stepped a little closer and she put her hand on Zana's shoulder.
Zana reached with her hand and she placed it on top of Amanda's hand "It's not funny to me, People can so easily come and go in this galaxy master and i don't want to ever think about you leaving me." Amanda just shook her head "I won't leave you Zana." She moved her hand and slowly turned around, leaning back against the wall and the window "You can't know that amanda, You just can't know that." Amanda started to say something else but Zana turned and she walked away, heading towards her room.
