The cold rain fell down onto the stone ground and saturated the soil and grass near the solemn place. A lone figure in a dark grey robe and as he kneeled one could tell he was alone and wished to remain that way. On the ground at his feet was a memorial to his master. On its dark stone face were the words "Master Elak Rekal" the solemn young Iridonian stares down at its surface recalling the battle of that day. A young Dark Jedi stood with his light saber plunged through his master and all Raith could think of was to react and defend his master. Knowing that his master could not be saved and his death was imminent Raith gave into his anger for the first time and fed his hatred for the Sith. Attacking with both his masters light saber and his own he managed to cut off both of the arms of the assailant and then decapitate him.
Justifying his own actions that day he knew that if he had not killed the Dark Jedi he would surely have fallen too, but to react so blindly with anger was forbidden by the Jedi order. He remembered the hatred beating within his heart and the sadness that began to swallow him up that day. He stood up looking at the stone on the ground once more. "I know what you meant that day master. I realize the last lesson you wished to teach me was not to hate those who strike down our fellow Jedi. It was a lesson it took me this long to learn Master" he says before leaving behind two light sabers that belonged to his master. Those were the two he used in his time as a padawan and now that he had been recognized as a Jedi he had received two of his own. The two silver and black objects hung loosely from their leather guards around his waist. "Rest in peace Master Rekal" he says once more before walking away from the grave site of his master. While it was customary to burn fallen jedi as so that they could not be used against the order.
He moved from the grassy knoll looking at the alien sunset and the odd rain from this world. It was foreign to him who spent the majority of his time in space over the past years on missions from the order.

Raith stands at around five feet and eleven inches tall weighing in at 200 pounds which is an average size for a Iridonian. His body has been littered with scars leaving many to wonder where they all came from and how many battles he has been in. He has an athletic appearance or that of a well toned and trained decathlete who has trained himself for stamina and endurance for several years. His skin is a jet black color which is a rare genetic trait in his people only passed down in the Iridonian’s in about 1 out of every 10 children. He came upon this trait himself as selective breeding is something that his people strongly believe in. More than that his family was a long line of nobles from Iridonia and even some of them were republic senators so selective breeding would often render such results. Though it was a surprise to see one of their kinsmen with this trait they were startled when another trait happened upon him. His horns formed somewhat of a crown around his head as these horns often appear randomly over years it is something that occurs even less than the obsidian skin. Along with his skin color he has his body completely marked in a red ink that are his tribal tattoo’s that identify him as part of the clan.
His Jedi attire conforms to most of the orders principality of trading heavy armor or clothing for the light robes, save for several modifications. He wears a light metallic chest plate in order to protect his more vital areas from damage from random blaster fire or explosive devices. However since it is only a common metal used in breast plate it cannot deflect blaster fire or stop a light saber from injuring him. Under this metallic plate he wears a light mesh material that is made of a type of metal thread during the process of forging it makes it slightly stronger than cloth but still not too effective at deflecting blaster or light saber attacks. It is mainly used as a secondary buffer if any blunt trauma is suffered to his body so that most of the damage will be absorbed in the mesh and armor. Along with both of these he wears a typical black set of pants and shoes with no apparent modifications or special additions to them. He will often wear a white robe over this attire in order to maintain a unity within the order itself. Often times he will forsake the white robe and wear a charcoal colored robe or a dark grey jedi robe in order to best fit his taste as well as tactical applications.

Raith was born to the noble family of Endac on the planet of Iridonia to the current leader of the tribe. His father was an important noble of the planet and his mother was the daughter to a senator in the galactic republic. The Zabraki language was something that was taught to the young Iridonian’s in order to instill a sense of purpose and knowledge in them. The young infant was born on the day that his father and mother were to travel to the planet of Coruscant in order for business. Raiths father was a newly appointed senator from his planet and had taken over the position from his father in law. A leader in his people’s eyes, Raith’s father had been entrusted to ensure the planet maintained a stability and would not be used or abused by the Galactic Senate. This was the first trip the young child had to Coruscant however it would not be the last. Over the next year or so the young child made several trips with his parents to the core worlds in order for his father’s mission and was often taken care of by nurse maids from his planet.
However in his third year of life the young Raith had a unique ability that was latent until now and not unheard of, but was extremely rare. At this age he began to speak and talk and often spoke of things that would happen moments later as if the child could foresee the future even for a few seconds. While the parents themselves did not think that clairvoyance was something to be investigated the caretakers thought they could profit off of the child by exploiting his talents. While taking care of the child they would often gamble having the three year old play games with them in order to cheat other players out of money. While this was done regularly, it was not noticed until a run in with a stranger they had no intention of scamming in the first place. However the stranger was in fact a knight of the Jedi order and immediately recognized this was no latent ability and was something that could be unique to only the few.
The Jedi knight took the child from the caretakers back to his parents. The knight had taken the child back to his parents whom he found out were nobles from the planet and among those senators. Pleading with the parents of the young child the Knight eventually won their trust and permission to take the child for Jedi training. Knowing they would no longer be able to see their child the parents chose to erase all memories of him as they knew it would only be painful of him. While leaving his parents should affect him in the long run he would retain no memory of his parents through an accident years later.

After being taken in by the Jedi Knight Young Raith began his training under several masters during his early years as a youngling. He learned how to control his emotions and not let them control him, learned of the past battles and of the darkside of the force. These things were taught to him in order to best train the young child as a Jedi knight. From an early age he showed an adaptation to the training that given to him. He quickly understood the basic combat fighting stances of the jedi and learned to focus himself in combat so that he not becomes too quick to anger. He learned various strategies and how to wield the key weapon of any jedi knight a light saber. By the time he was eight years old he had been through the training that was given to him and moved from a youngling onto an apprentice to the order. An apprentice was an in between phase for most younglings during the time when they would be appointed a master. As an apprentice he learned several lessons on his own through the months that It took to find him an appropriate master.
After his transition period as an apprentice he learned much more about the Sith and the Great Hyperspace war and of the legendary Jedi Masters and their counterparts the Infamous Sith Lords. The young Zabrak had an interest in history however due to his heritage he often felt it was better that he train his body most of the time focusing on his strength training and power training over studying the various arts strategy. When he was appointed a master he was deemed a Padawan and began his lifelong servitude to the force and the Jedi Order. His master Elak Rekal was an Iridonian like he and as such the two had a instant friendship that would last until his masters death. The young child looked up to Rekal as a father figure as well as his mentor. The years spent with his master were tough on the young child as he quickly found out that the Jedi Order demanded much of them. Even as a padawan he needed to aid any in whatever way he could.
By the time he was fifteen years old Raith had matured into a fine young Padawan and even managed to hold his own in combat. He knew it would be several years before he was ready to take on the responsibility of a full fledged Jedi knight but also felt that he could surpass his master if given the opportunity. He wanted only approval from Master Rekal and the rest of the Jedi Masters who looked on him often times with an eye of disapproval. He knew he had made several mistakes in the past and even the one mistake that cost him half of his memories from when he was a child. The long scar running down the right side of his face was from falling down a rock face on Alderan as he had joked around with friends and unfortunately had even made it impossible for he and his master to move for several months until he was fully recuperated. However in the coming years he would prove to everyone that he was more than capable and would surpass all expectations that they had for him. It was something that he had wanted to do for a long time.
III.
At the age of eighteen Raith lost his master Elak to a Sith assassin who had also fallen in battle to Raith himself. This lesson was hard for Raith to learn as he killed the assassin out of hatred and anger while he was not supposed to feel such things it overwhelmed him and could have destroyed him if not for his master’s final instructions. He instructed Raith to return to Coruscant and give his report on what had happened and to finish his four years as a Padawan. The order was a hard one to follow and one he could not complete without feeling some remorse for giving into anger and hatred. Further instruction by one of the Masters on Coruscant was all Raith went through for the duration of his training as a Padawan. When he reached the age of twenty two he was given the test that all Padawan must go through in order to become a full fledged Jedi. While he passed many felt that he was still not ready to join their order and too much pride in himself. However the final decision was handed down by the Jedi council to give him the promotion.
Over the next three years Raith undertook several peace keeping missions and even ran into several battles in the process. The battles he underwent and troubles he was forced into he learned to defend himself against all manners of opponents. He managed to defeat several Dark Jedi in his years which earned him many trips to the Kolto tanks and infirmaries aboard space cruisers. While these past three years have been strife with turmoil and constant danger he has managed to remain true to his masters wishes and philosophy. Like his master he also learned how to dual wield light sabers in combat which would allow the most offensive power and was strategically better than a single light saber or a double bladed light saber.
