Keeto Grouaf was born on Rodia in the year 3578BBY in a small village. His father was a hunter like most male Rodians and his mother worked in the village. His parents followed the footsteps of their elders and their elders.
Before his birth and during his early life the Rodians were dependent on hunting in order to survive. They would hunt animals to eat and recover resources for the village workers. Some predators such as ghests would attack and perhaps destroy entire villages.
When Keeto was aged six months a ghest entered his village and attacked, severely damaging it. All Rodian warriors unleashed fury on the beast that made mythological history as an icon of death. The few remaining warriors barely managed to kill the beast and observed the remains of their village. Most warriors had been killed and most of the village destroyed but the rest of the villagers rebuilt the village over the next two years. Keeto was a baby and spent the next two years running about and being silly with his mum paying attention to him while the rest of the villagers paid their attention toward the rebuild of the village.
At age of two and a half years the village had been rebuilt and repopulated, nearby villages helping them build and some even making it home. It was bigger than before and had larger facilities such as small forms of entertainment and a school. For the next year an a half Keeto attended the village's nursery before he moved on to school at age four.
At the age of four he began education and enjoyed it. He was not bad at school and got on well with everyone. The school in the village serves education for eight years before they choose to either be a hunter or a worker. For the first six years a neccessary list of subjects had to be taken including maths and Rodese and Basic. They would take tests to outcome on these subjects before choosing one subject to specialize in for the next two years of education. Keeto chose computers over history and Shyriiwook. This gave him the knowledge required to build a security system and how to fully operate the computer to it's maximum potential. Keeto decided to take the path of a warrior and was graced with a Rodian blade. This was at the age of twelve and through these eight years he had become best friends with another Rodian villager called Reidoo Dolbis. They got along because of their sense of humor on prnking othe rpeople. During the friendship they did all things friends do, pull pranks, have fun but were not permitted to leave the village for the danger that lurked there. They were assigned a task as they were the two best young warriors in the village. To get to this position Keeto and Reidoo had to first qualify for the dueling by passing a trial.
The trial was a strenous activity and included such things like slaying numerous creatures like Vagh Rodiek and having tests of fitness and strength by holding races and competitions. Fourteen graduates from school tried out for warrior but only eight managed to get through to the duelling phase, including Keeto and Reidoo.
The dueling was held two weeks later in the centre of the village. A tournemant was devised with four one on one matches for the first round, two one on one matches for the second round and semi final and one on one match in the final. The rules were that the fight was held as a fist fight and to win the other fighter had to submit or the referee would stop the fight to declare a winner.
In Keeto's first match he faced a Rodian who had moved to the village just a few weeks before the end of school. He was named Dheennu Chorvat. The fight lasted a good half hour before Keeto threw a right hook into Dheennu's jaw and following up with an uppercut to the gut, causing him to fall onto the floor and the referee to stop the fight and declare him as the winner. Keeto's second match was similar but after about twenty minutes his opponent submitted to defeat, advancing him into the final against his long time friend Reidoo. This was very much like Keeto's first fight except it went on for around forty five minutes and there was no winner. The referee declared it a draw and they were both declared best warrior of the village.
This task was assigned to them at the age of fourteen and it was to aid another village in attacks from the predators as it was on low population after the ghest attacks. It had turned out that the predators were actually being aided by a race that used stealth called the Yuuzhan Vong. They had somehow been luring the beasts to attack a particular village.
After acquiring this piece of information they reported back to their village who planned an attack with other adjacent villages to wipe out the Yuuzhan Vong. When they had located their camp they were all camouflaged in the trees using stealth belts. Elite Rodian warriors placed mines all over the camp while they observed from the shadows. When a few more warriors entered the minefield they attacked before they thought, setting off the entire minefield, killing everyone in the camp. They burnt the bodies of the fallen Rodians separately, paying them respect.
At age fifteen the ghest attacks returned and this time destroyed every village they attacked. Then they attacked Keeto's village and destroyed all structures but not to many villagers because they decided to get out of it's way to avoid death. His mother was one of the unlucky Rodians that died in the attack, his hut collapsing on her. Keeto and his father were distraught and his father decided it was unsafe on Rodia. Therefore they traveled to the nearest major city and took a one way space shuttle to Onderon.
Once there his father spent all his money on a small apartment and a basic pazaak deck. He had bought it to try and win some money to support himsle and Keeto. He had not played pazaak many times before and was not very good at it at first but managed to teach himself to get better and certain tactics. He got lucky at a nearby pazaak den a couple of times and it took him a good devotion of hard working nights of pazaak but eventually he won a total of forty-thousand credits and with this he bought some essentials for the apartment and a plot of land in the entertainment quarter of the city they lived in. He spent most of the remaining credits on turning it into a cantina called "Keeto Cantina in respect for his son.
It was soon opened and business soared because of it being the nearest cantina for quite a way. Keeto at the age of now sixteen obtained a job there as computer manager, using his education on Rodia to excel in computer and security. He added several security scripts and programs to the cantina computer system so slicers couldn't access it as easy.
Life was the same for the next three years. Most of the day he would be working on the cantina computer system and in free time he would check out the entertainment module for himself. He would help out owners of the other structures in their computer systems for some credits.
Then one night at the cantina a Jedi Knight walked in. He did not request a drink or any food, he just sat at a table and sat there. Keeto approached him and asked questions. The Jedi spoke words of wisdom about affairs and about judging others etc. Primarily he spoke about healing and telepathy, his main skills. From this Keeto gained basic knowledge of these two Jedi skills and also the basic use of it however he does not know of it.
He became aware of his ability in healing and telepathy another two years later at the age of twenty one. At the cantina he was also given the job off security guard to protect the customers and one night he was put to the test. Two suspicious mercenaries entered the cantina and sat at the bar, ordering two drinks. They were looking at people and surroundings, perhaps planning something. Keeto stared intensely at them for a long period of time then discovered his basic skill for telepathy.
He read their thoughts which said things about scaring everyone of making an extreme decision.They were quite rough with other people and just before they stood up to leave they pulled out Mandalorian heavy blasters pointing at civilians and in particular Keeto's father who was working behind the bar. They shot his father and two other civilians and then ran out of the doors.
He rushed to the nearest injured person, a civilian and then administered their wounds. The blaster shot had only got him on his side and he would be fine if he had some bandage on it. Next he rushed to his father and administered his wounds. They were extremely bad, being shot in the chest just below the neck. This was when his father died in his arms on a now silent cold night. It felt like an entire chunk of his stomach had been lost and Keeto began to cry hard. However he still had to administer the other civilians wounds. He had been shot at the top of the leg and if it wasn't treated to soon it would have to be amputated. This was when he discovered his skill for healing. He received an urge to wave his hand above the wound seriously and stiffly so he did and before his very eyes he saw the wound heal over as if he had never been shot.
Afterwards Keeto ordered everyone out of the cantina, he needed time to think. He ordered someone to come and take away the bodies but he told him to wait so he could say his final goodbye to his father. It was the saddest moment of his life, sadder than the death of his mother in the ghest attacks on Rodia. His father had died therefore the cantina was passed down to Keeto and he decided to add facilities to it such as dancers and a pazaak area.
He reopened it months later at the age of twenty-two and many customers came in, eager to see the new additions. Many regulars came to the pazaak area to play and watch and some customers would take their drinks and watch the dancers on the eastern side of the cantina. He was still depressed over his father's death and took time off work to recover. However at his apartment he began drinking a lot of membrosia, an alcoholic spirit.
After a year off and still addicted to membrosia people began looking for Keeto and found his address in the Onderon housing archives. They found him in a bad state, roughed up in his apartment surrounded by empty bottles of alcohol. They managed to get him to quit the drink over the course of six months and at this time he was at the age of twenty three and a half.
For the last six months Keeto permanently focused on the cantina and hot to make it better. He has about one hundred thousand credits in his possession from sales in the cantina over the past three years and bought two trandoshan swords, a Zabrak blaster and bronzium armor for his protection in the cantina and if he had to fight himself.

He had been earning a lot of credits tonight. Keeto might have a few thousand by the end of it.
Some Onderon soldiers had come into the cantina to celebrate their victory in their latest battle and were making lots of noise in the dancers sector. The pazaak area was dealing with hundreds of thousands of credits, some people betting about fifty thousand a time. Keeto had recently installed a row of computer terminals in the cantina for people to access for history of the cantina, information and small quizzes and games.
Since its opening the Cantina had made an extremely large improvement and was one of the most busiest places of entertainment in the city. Now an again a bad person would come in to try and start a fight but apart from that it was a friendly area to come to. However he needed someone to help him. A lot of people were pestering him for starport visas because they thought he had a stash of them but actually he only knew how to strip a visas of its ID Signature and make it an open card. Keeto was getting desperate and needed someone to negotiate or deal with the situation.
