Name: Mal Konti
Race: Hutt
Age: 92 (142 counting pre-birth)
Height: 5'8"
Weight: 475
Appearance: An Orange hutt with black stripping. Now on the run from his family and other crime bosses make him thinner than most hutts at his age. The force though give him the air of a impending avalanche, slow at first but quick deadly action soon to follow. A being of youthful intelligence for a hutt, but ever thirsting for knowledge. As a healer his nature has become the reverse of most hutts his age in being caring and kind.
Personality: Calm and gentleness unlike most hutt mainly because of the Healer training. When in trouble Mal with draws into him self. If a being can anger him insteed of venting he just fails to talk to them or recognize that they are there. Always in want of doing what is right. Constantly rechecking his habits so as not to drift toward the dark side or old hutt nature.
Birth place: Nal Hutta
Faction: Jedi
Rank: Healer
Bio:
The huttling Mal is the Third spawn of Kalic of the area of Konti on Nal Hutta. His birth was a quick painless and stressfless. It was blessed birth in that his parent was going through recovery from a high level amount of poison in a assassination attempt, because of breeding with a failed business partner. Mal was the factor in saving their life for the force was with this one. It still did nothing to help the hatred the parent had for Mal.
It was a time though they were what hutts call broke. As the first few years went by Mal was not loved by his parent. Altho disliked Mal was still left to be seen wheither he would worthy of his parents name and way of life. The parent did not want to show favor so the parent even went so far as to acquire a female togruta slave, Nana, to watch over and teach him. This though was the first step toward their separation.
The slave was 30 years old. Taken from a little known family, she was taught how to care for and teach Mal. She was in charge of teaching Mal various languages, math, history and various other things for the parent had given them a vast holo-library for this use. She also was to keep him separated form his other siblings, because his brothers were becoming very cruel to any around. She on the other hand wanted to show Mal something that his brothers did not nor would ever get and the was true love. She her self had a loving family the rememberances of them is what kept her going now as a slave.
These half brothers were older and growing more hutt like, vicous, cruel, and greedy. This was because for whoever was chosen would be the sole heir of the business. They did not want a mix bred sitting in their place. So they had made various attempts to kill him, being the youngest and the weakest, but the force luck was a strong motivator in keeping Mal safe.
When Mal was four years old the status of the family changed. The trade in slaves took off and they luck out in that a competitor die for a mysterious death by poison. So the family future looked bright and profitable. But the future made them infamous and with that came the assassination attempts. So the family broke up and hid in various hidden locations around the hutt region, except for the oldest who had first rites of taking over the business.
The death threats and the already to numberous bounty hunters forced Mal's parent to choose who would be better suited to take over the business. As for Mal and Nana, they were sent to Tatooine with a squad of guards to watch over them and made sure they did not run off. His parent wanted to put Mal in a place that would be normally looked over first so that it would give a warning to the parent and a chance that his third rate guards might kill the hunter before they came for the older ones. The parent from very early on did not like Mal. For Mal was a cross breeding with another hutt of now very low rank. This is why his half brothers and his parent did not want Mal to live for very long.
Three long years Mal and his keeper lived a solitary life. Nana became his whole world his life focused around her and she to him. The love for each other was more like the love one would expect from a parent. So it hurt them both when once each year Mal had to return to Nal Hutta to visit it's paternal parent. At those times Mal's parent would talk over things like business and the way of the hutt. The response that was returned was a shocking one. Mal spoke of kindness and peace and a lack of intrest in the slave business.
So Mal did not have the normal emotional state and his growth seemed to be very slow. His parent thought that Mal was sick, but the tests came back clean. What the parent did not know was that the Doctor sent the data to the Jedi council showing the higher than normal levels of midichlorian count. He did this because he had been hired to run test on young ones by Jedi when he was on other planets. He thought that with the count so high and that of having seen the parents emotional disreguard that the Jedi taking this one to protect or what-ever would be best for all. The parent not seeing how Mal would measure up to his brother's levels Mal would be returned back to Nana. Mal would return from the trip to her loving embrace ready to learn and be loved.
On the seventh year Nana was sent a message. In it said that this year Mal was not going to come to Nal Hutta. Nana was suspicious about this. Never before had this happened. On a shopping trip to get food for that day did she finally find out. Some of the guards had told her that attempts at the lives of the other siblings had been made. So her hearing about it as a store keeper and a shopper talked was nothing new. What was new was the small detail of who it was that sent the hunters.
It was Raffa the oldest of the siblings. It was he who had issued the hit on his siblings. The middle sibling was dead and the last child Mal was next on the list. Raffa never did like to share anything with anyone. She even heard that Mal's parent was promotting the idea saying that Mal was geneticly difficent, a half-bred, and had to be removed from the hutt line. At once she left the store and headed back to Mal. All the time she felt that some one was watching her or following. So she ran down the street and rounded a corner to loose who ever it was. She though did not see the large cloaked figure hiding in the shadow of that alley way and crashed into it falling backward and hitting the ground.
When she opened her eyes all she could see was an imposing figure wrapped in a long flowing cloak. She was not frightened for she had heard and seen holo-vid of cloaks like this before. It was a Jedi. She crawled to the Jedi and begged for mercy for her and the child she was watching. The she got was one of relief, for he said in wookiee, 'don't worry your safe'. They quickly raced to Mal who was still safe though the guards had left. He was playing in the middle of the floor playing with repulser toys. She though paid no mind and ran by to gather their things. The Wookiee Jedi though stood there and watched Mal manipulate the toys. Firgan (the Jedi) watched as Mal played. Though Mal played his focus seemed to be else where. Mal looked from Firgan to where his keeper went too. Firgan saw this. The emotional connection was great with Nana. This would later be hindrance to Mal Firgan could see. That thought was short lived as Mal began to cry Firgan refocused for two rooms down Firgan sensed the death of the slave and the quick movement of the hunter. In one move Firgan picked Mal up and left there loosing the hunter in the alley ways. With Tatooine no longer safe for the huttling Firgan returned to the Jedi temple with Mal for the counsel would want to see and examine the new youngling.
Trembling not with fear or excitement but because he could sense the power of those around him. Mal could not hide it visibly. He recoiled from the stares of each of the council thinking that everyone here would act just like the Hutts would. One of the members though did not give him that over powering feeling in the force. In fact he would often move closer and closer to the Togruta council member still feeling that close bond he had with his keeper and she saw this. A few of the council was unsure about the new one before them having the thoughts of how hutt's behavior would lead to the dark side. The torguta council member finally spoke up and said what was related by Firgan, about the slave keeper and her teaching the young one goodness and showing him kindness.
Mal finally spoke up to them and said that though he may seem to look young he was indeed near ten years old and wanted to change his being. He had no desire for greed or power but to help like his keeper did for him. For he did not want to hurt any being. Nana's influence on him was very evident by his speech and demenior.
After the council had talked it over for about a two months they took Mal in as a young-ling. It was not with out constraints he would not be knighted until he was near 100 years of age. Mal lowered his head but Firgan placed his hairy hand on Mal's head. Even if 10 years of age would have been to old for any youngling Mal would trust in the force. For the force had seemed to slow Mal's physical and mental growth for this very reason. In that the masters would not accept any younger than five years old. So thus the force stunted his growth. What some even feared more was the thought that he would turn against them because of his possiblity in the force. The next two years Mal grew rapidly in the force and in mass. Mal found it very hard to use a stun saber and would often stun him self. He would grumble about his short arms and would be teased by the others for it but that did not last for very long.
Mal learned to roll and flop instead of spinning and twisting. His teacher even tried to help him to build new foot work for the first sword skill Shii-Cho, but Mal's progress was very slow just like his manuverability. So Mal had to focus on the force to help him fight and defend him self. Mal grew in the force abilities of telekineses and telepathy. The thought of what Mal would do came to his mind often but a young healer gave him hope and maybe a direction he could go. For she would teach Mal how to heal quicker giving Mal a faster recovery time.
As the years went by Mal grew stronger in the force. His skill in the stun sabers that still was lacking, but his ability to heal him self and sense impending strikes made up for it. Even he was able to start to see and read the moves before the attacker moved. Most times he would see it and save him self and be able to strike.
On one occasion a female student went in for a vital thrust. Mal saw it like she was in slow motion. He contorted and did his own thrust. She missed but he did not. All would have been fine if she had properly put her stun armor on right. Her failing to do so left a gap in her armor and Mal's saber went right for it. The shock of the saber made her scream in pain and receive a very nasty burn. When she hit the floor Mal saw what he had done. Well the previous months he had studied healing for his own wounds and talked to a Jedi healer, so the time he spent was not a waste. He knelled down and started to try to heal her burn. As he did he also stretched out his force ability to see the affect. This gave him an idea of some thing the Healer had told him on healing burns. As she gasped for breath, Mal tried to releave her pain by taking it onto him self. When she took her second breath that same Healer was next to her checking her over and giving Mal an approving smile.
At he ending of Mal's final Second ten he was still not able to complete Shii-cho. No longer looking like a hutt ling and weighing about 200 lbs Mal was on his way to getting a master, and becoming the oldest padawaan. His name was becoming more know and the council saw that someone of similar age length was needed to teach Mal. So Firgan was called and accepted Mal. Taking him everywhere they learned alot from each other.
For five years Firgan tested Mal by having him search kashyyyk for slavers and the like. The terrain was always a problem for Mal. This gave a work out for his telekineses. The quiet often they communicated by way through the force. Many times Mal missed what Firgan said but it improved as the years went by.
The slavers never was a problem to find. They always seemed to Mal as if they were using heavy construction equipment to move and hunt, his mind new better. Firgan had a plan once to have Mal
impersonate a slaver but when firgan found out whom the slavers worked for he switched the plan. Most of the slavers were coming from his parent's slave group. As for dealing with them Mal alone was all that was needed.
Firgan used the slavers as training tools for Mal to learn defense. Soresu and Shien / Djem So were perfect for Mal and his slow speed and mass. Firgan also started to teach the basics of some of the force skills. Force bariers helped when the slavers shot at him. Force wave was used often in flatting the targets to slow them down. Firgan did know that it would take many years before Mal was able to reach the full levels of these skills but saw no harm in start Mal on the long course that is Mal's nine hundred year training.
Firgan and Mal started to travel away from Kashyyyk, when near the end of Mal's Forth ten. Mal had grown strong enough that the dangers of Kashyyk's floor were easier to handle but still to dangerous for him to go alone. So Firgan saw it was time for Mal to face the Dark side of the force by searching out places of power in the darkness of the force. Thus ended Mal's third tenth.
The journey started off simply at first. Going to places with little or no dark side influence and activity for the concern that running afoul of dark Jedi or anyone that would claim them selves hunters looking for Mal's tail.
The first strong site that Mal had to deal with made him hurt as if he was being skinned alive, that is until Firgan showed him how to move the darkness so that it was not his core but orbiting his source of force light like the way the galaxy moves. In the darkness Mal became aware of feelings and emotions the thing that the Jedi were told to control. He made this comment to Firgan and was rewarded by Firgan telling about the dark sides areas of taping into for strength. But was told to that relying only on one's emotions would distort the light side direction of the will.
Firgan went on to talk of the two Wills of the Force. The point of all this was to give Mal a new long term direction to think in so that his force growth would not be slowed or come to a stop. Mal while at one of the stronger places tried this new thought. He mixed what he knew of battle mediation and the two wills and their constant struggle for balance and meditated deeply. Mal slowly lowered him self into the force and found lightness in the darkness.
A need to find out more made Mal delve deeper till he was nearly one with the force as if melding with it. His balance was not sure at this point and he started to fall into the force until that lightness pushed him away. It was not Frigan but it was the Jedi that had died defeating the Sith here. Both of their presences seemed to flow forever battling. A voice from there said, 'To purge the darkness the light must grow stronger. Let the lightness of the Will strengthen and guide forever.' This knowledge helped him grow in strength.
So Firgan saw the need for Mal to start putting his own saber to gather though Mal would not use it for major battles. Many of the places they went to had been visited before by other Jedi and broken sabers could be found. Mal collected the parts and went to work on building his saber. Mal knew that in time the saber would be the size of a tooth pick to him so he made the hilt two and a half feet long. This would work well when switching the blade into different hands for the hutt. The crystal that Mal found was in a geode that was surrounded by dark side power but to Mal it radiated light side force signature. When built Mal's double length blade would snap to life with a Orange-ish blade with a outer green shine. The blade still was not enough for Mal to protect him self. Firgan switched from saber skills to teaching Crucitorn. So that Mal could counter the pain and did not have to have Firgan protect Mal as much.
When returning to the Jedi temple, Firgan and Mal soon was given the assignment to go and make contact with Mandos watching them and reporting their behavior. Before they left for their mission Mal went to get counsil from the togruta Master. He had many times talked to her. It was not so much as asking for counsil but when he talked to her he was able to focus better and remember why he was trying change his path from hutt to Jedi. This was the ending of Mal's Fortieth Ten
Firgan's mission of dealing with mandos had been a reaccouring thing. Early on Firgan fought beside them and he fought with them but the council would often turn to Firgan to handle with mando problems. Now it was Mal's turn to help out. On route Firgan gave Mal infomation on resent mando activities and troubles hoping that this would give Mal some idea about what they were going to have to deal with.
The ten years spent watching mandos were not as easy as Mal had thought. Mal guessed that many of the mandos had not heard of the treaty. He soon found out that many just ignored it and them as well. Their demeanor was one of fight for survival not live in peace. Mal could relate to this thinking because many thought of him as greedy and fowl minded interested in lust for power and just lust.
A small band of mandos Firgan and Mal had been watching when a small band of pirates and slavers had got together to make a raid on the mando supply depot. The pirates had splintered the mandos with over whelming numbers and then rounded up the young and the women though the women gave them as much a fight as the men. The pirate started by stunning the more aggressive ones and piling them up as dead one. Though the hatred towards the Jedi by the mandos Firgan still went to free the young leaving Mal to free the women. Mainly because the spill over between the pirates and mandos would have started a localized war. Mal encountered ten pirates and three slavers standing around the bodies. Mal did not know that they were still alive. In a moment of unhindered feeling Mal released his force upon the slavers.
A shock wave of force repulse laid flat the thirteen. Mal quickly as he could with force enhanced speed moved into the middle next to the pile of women. He reached out feeling them in hopes to find one alive, but found that all were alive. A feeling of shame came over him he let slip the darkness but had no time to ponder any longer for the pirates started to rouse them selves. This time he was at the center of them all. Mal opened him self to the force in the attempt to do away with the threats in one blow. Mal started the Gathering of Wave/ Repulse force keeping the eye large enough to protect the women. Mal hoped the in this effort and tying into the battle mediation with Firgan that he could protect them all until help came.
Help came, not to Mal,but to the injured as twenty Mandos charging with Firgan running well in frontof the mandos to help Mal to escape from both mando and pirate forces. The thirteen pirate/slavers did not stand a chance. Firgan was pleased with Mal although he could sense Mal deviation into the darkness as they were able to get to their ship and depart from mando space. 'Fight for right with a righteous heart and you will find greater strength and the correct way in the light.' These words still echo in Mal's ears to this day. Continuing to watch the mandos and keeping the peace and space between them and other beginnings was how Mal's Fifth Ten ended along with his mastering Shii-Cho.
The beginning of Mal's Sixth Ten a quiet one Mal had not finished Soresu but started to work on the Sub-form Backhanded of Shien / Djem. Making holy new type of foot steps Mal tried even harder to block with his saber. Mal thought that this might off set the constant use of healing him self. As he started Firgan got word to return to the temple. Firgan did seem to be anxious about the message. What Mal did not know was that he was going to be checked for most of the council had changed.
The temple looked the same with the added adjustments of a wing or two and refreshing of the condition. As Mal entered the main hall all turned in turn to look at and check this force powered Hutt. Being with Firgan time seemed not to move but seeing new faces and races in the temple brought back to Mal how long it had been. Mal's body had changed during the time he was away. Longer, leaner, more agile then he was forty years ago. Mal moved with greater speed and grace then any hutt ever had. Others could see this in Mal and the word spread of this slim hutt.
Whispers started to grow the further Mal and Firgan went into the grand hall. It was not until a young-ling came up to Mal and asked to shake his hand then ran to his friends in aw. Mal saw this was like what a holo-star or a sports champ would receive. No ticker tape parade, but it was as close as Mal got. Firgan stopped at the bottom of the steps entering the grand council chambers. Here he stood and would stand until Mal reemerged whether for the good or the bad. Mal took the action as the first step for Mal's further growth in the force and ranking.
Upon his entrance Mal could sense the combined power of the masters and the grand master. This time Mal did not shrink back nor did he even try to search out the feeling of the masters. Calming years had left their mark on him. Also the training in the various areas of the force had made him more sure of what he could do. Looking around with eyes only Mal saw indeed the council had changed many of the human masters were gone and the longer lived beings were still there, but one he did know was still there. It was the togruta that had stood up for him. She now sat near the grand master. She did not smile until Mal bowed to her as a sign of respect. The other masters muttered about this the grand master just held up his hand and the room quieted.
The grand master said nothing just probed Mal's mind and body. Then finally ask what Mal's final goal would be when he would take his place here in the council of masters. Mal took a breath and answered slowly, 'Neither power, or rank is the goal but balance for those servants of the force is what I seek.' A few masters nodded and the togruta smiled. That is when she spoke up and asked if the darkness would be a part of this future. She had come to know his mind by the years of talk between them. Mal responded in kind he knew that in time darkness falls even on the largest gas planet, but it was not some thing to give into. For like night is followed by day so the Light side will is followed by the Dark will.
The masters started to mutter again. With that response the grand master stood and asked Mal to give him Mal's light saber and bow before him. Mal did not know what would happen next but trusted in the force. He unclipped the saber and levitated it toward the grand master. He then took it snapping it to life. Mal came forward and tried to bow on even the equivalent to kneeling. Then he said let the trials begin. Thus ended Mal Sixth Ten.
&
The Council Masters each wanted Firgan to see if he would break and what his limits are. Mal though held on with determination and relayed on the strength of the force.
The first Mal spoke by way of telepathy only. He was hard to under stand for Mal because he had such a thick mental accent that it was hard to distinguish between certain important words and phrases. For Mal to compensate, he just by-pasted the verbal and sought out the literal mental meaning. In a word Mal tied into Firgan's mind via battle mediation and saw the words and the feelings that they implied. They talked to each other like this so much that some times they failed to speak verbally to others when in a group. Firgan tried on various times to distort Mal by illusions and by making false battle visions, but Mal had never fell for them his connection to the master was to strong, so he saw through them.
The next Firgan focused on Mal's body though he thought him still to slow when they raced and he had to use force speed just to keep up to his slower speed. Mal tried to speed up many times find new ways to combine levitation and force jump to skip jump down the race course. He even used his hands to project mild force waves and repulsion to enhance that as well. But when it came to raw power Mal's level of physical training had to be put off because Mal had gotten so use to using his force abilities to enhance him self Mal simple became to hard on the equipment.
Another time Firgan sough Mal out for enhancing his senses. He took Mal to a very large storage room and had Mal to clean it. Though it was the size of a warehouse Mal did not flinch at the job until he was given the list of what was to be taken out by perfect order. Firgan even went so far as to post a robot at the entrance to make sure Mal stayed to the removal list. What would have taken about two to three months to the better part of a year. Mal searched out each and every item on the list stretching out his senses even to find 24 .00125 ball bearings for a droid that was no longer in production and of course they were scattered all over the warehouse. By the end Mal could sense a gnat buzzing around a piece of dropped fruit on the far side of the Jedi temple during the noon time. The thing that stood out to Mal was the first things were lost items by the various masters. This was because each of the items had a faint force signature to each one of them.
The next bit started his testing by having Mal watch over the young-lings for two years. What kind of test would you figure this would be? This was what many wondered. They found out right quick. Being children they loved to throw things and pick on Mal with toys guided by telekinetic powers. Mal did not want to hurt them he had the power, but the two master want to show him control and to build his sensitivity to protect him self. So for two years Mal endured being bombarded by blocks. Blocking and twisting the toys path to move or orbit around him became a game with the young-lings, for them to how much they could send to Mal before his ability failed. At first only a small amount would dislodged Mal protection area but near the end the young-lings would often run out of toys to use. Then they would laugh an cheer.
During the next testing Firgan never seemed to have any emotion toward Mal's destructive powers. He pushed Mal to so many extremes that he wondered how the master stayed from the dark side of the force. In the second year Mal was studying up on enhancing his Maelstrom ability when he chanced upon a holo-vid of Firgan. The power of this master was very startling to Mal knowing that he to could be that strong. As the vid played on Mal saw that this vid was about fifty years ago and it had a second title, 'Saving a Lost One from Darkness'. Firgan was once dark made him realize why his master had such a lock down of his emotions. The next time they trained Mal mimicked this master's emotional persona. To Mal's surprise it made the use of the destructive powers easier and for the first time Mal got to see this master give a faint smile.
Mal was chosen to deal with an unusual Dark Jedi. Firgam took Mal to a very swampy planet and had him search for this Dark Jedi. The only thing Mal knew about the Dark one was that it like mind tricks and illusions. While on planet, Mal had a flash back to a time at home on Nal Hutta. Large swamp trees, boggy terrain and various species of life flew and crawled around this planet. Mal could sense and over whelming pressonce of life in the force here. This would indeed hide any force user who came here. A perfect place to train and hold up in times of hard ship.
Mal searched more of the place stretching out in the force until a darkened pressonce hit Mal like a waiting trap spider going after prey. The darkness was greater than he had experianced before. Mal searched it out and finally able to locate the targeted area of force power it was not a cave or a building but it was a tree. A tree imbued with great power of the dark side. On closer inspection Mal noticed that the tree was not instilled with power like when a dying force use would do to lengthen their life but it was....alive in the sentient way. It was a thinking tree like he was a thinking slug. He finally found the Dark Jedi.
When he turned Mal's vision failed. His saw only the tree no matter where he looked. A force illusion, it had to be. Mal settle on the ground and started to stretch out in to the force searching for the tree to break it's hold on him. They struggled for what seemed like hours. Mal would search the other's limits looking for cracks and gaps. Mal pushed on weak spots in the Dark one's force. Nearing the end of his own strength Mal pushed him self once more by giving off a Maelstrom like force burst with in the illusion of their shared mind. Mal then audibly heard a sound. The sound of snapping wood like that of a branch breaking. Then the hold lifted off of Mal.
Coming to Mal blinked his massive eyes and saw the tree once again, but this time the top of the tree had been snapped off. Regretful Mal went back to his ship tired and very hungry on getting there Master Firgan was waiting. He came over to Mal and asked if every thing went well. The Dark Jedi tree was now dead and Firgan could see the effect it had on Mal. Mal never like killing any thing but to escape death was the only option.
The lastly Firgan took Mal to the healer who helped him long ago. This one furthered Mal under standing of healing and helped him to clarify the force skill of Crucitorn. During three years Mal helped out in healing the young-lings and any one else how needed help be they civilian to military man. Setting broken bones to healing saber burns was the norm of the day. Mal even was helpful in speeding healings of refugees. Poisins were never to hard for Mal was immune to most. Watching the healer restart the heart of a being by force lighting was a new thought for Mal.
On one occation Mal was set to a quariten planet to help in the cleansing of the people. A massive pleage had taken over the planet and now medics were sent to find and help out the survivors. Day after day Mal worked to try to save the survivors most did not live. This went on for three months and many of the medics left not because of being tired but they could not handle the death around them and their constant loss of patients. Mal though shook off the feelings and continued on focusing on one person at a time.
Another three more months went on and Mal was one of the few who started who had not left or kill them self because of the strain of loosing patients and the work load. It was around about this time that some one off planet found brought a healing agent to help with the situation. Firgan came and got Mal so that Mal could get some relief. Mal at first refused but after another month and the percentages of survivors increasing he left with Frigan to go back to Coruscant.
This was a quiet time of peace and healing though it ended in the passing of the togruta master that help him so many years ago. He had helped stave off the effects of a toxin that she had gotten when away on a event turning mission. The days of watching her getting sicker and sicker. For more than three years Mal tended to her condition. Many times Mal would push him self to the point of passing out from over exhurtion and lack of sleep and failing to eat because he did not want to fail the one person who had shown faith in his goals. Mal finally came to and impass. While sitting by her bed he fell into a deep Jedi trance searching for help only to find nothing but the knowledge that her passing would hurt but it would not be for not. Coming to he found her sitting up and smiling. She thanked him for his efforts to help her but the time had come for her to leave. As she faded Mal thanked her again for the chance to change. Thus ended Mal's seventh and eighth ten.
Meditating in the grand council chamber before the Grand Master and other Masters, Mal was drawn her and there by their influeance in a dream like state. He relived many pivital moments. Often he ws given the choice to be drawn out to use the darkness with in him. On one situation near the end of the dream he was back on Nar Shaddaa in the same house that he had lived in once before. This time though he was the rescuring Jedi. At his feet was a young huttling child crying he could sence two life pressonces in the other room. Rushing into the room he found the hunter breaking Nana's neck just as his imagination had predicted. Just as Mal was going to strike the hunter, he held up a holo-recorder that showed Nana agreeing to kill the child. He could not believe what he was hearing in raged he kills the hunter. Leaving the room he sees him self as the huttling with a light saber telling him self you should have saved her. Once again a rage being to build in side him. The huttling says again your just like your parent, but worse because you had the power to save her and you did nothing.
Mal turned from the huttling. Aa he raised his face, Mal saw not his face but of his parents full of hate and greed but with glowing yellow eyes of a Dark Jedi. Looking back he was surrounded by all the Jedi he had known. Each Jedi had a determination of Mal's defeat for turning to the dark side. Instead of running Mal lowered his head and waited for his death. Mal' head ached and his eyes began to focus. He was still with in the Grand Chamber. Each of the Masters were nodding to each other and let Mal go away to rest for a while.
A month later the grand master raised the blade and lowered it to the left shoulder and then to the right . Then he said, 'Rise Mal Konti Knight of the Order of the Jedi and go rejoice with your fellow knights. Mal did as he was told with an emotionless manner and mind. For on his mind was still the aged death of the togruta master. He had spent a full week talking to and healing where he could to give This loved master time to finalize things. In the end she simply thank Mal for all his help and faded back into the force. She simply did not just die but unlike most there Mal watched as she transcended into the Light of the force with other masters so that she to given the right time could come from time to time as a force ghost and give needed council to those that she was close to.
Firgan and a few other masters and even some of those that were young-lings but now knights themselves welcomed Mal with open arms. Mal though had wondered how many more would part from this life before him. He hoped for very few. Now with his knight hood he would do his best to see to that they to would grow old and live a long life like masters before.

Mal was off again searching for possible places to set up a training center. The Idea was not very good he thought for Firgan always kept them on the move. HIs thoughts were you never learn by setting still. The council thought otherwise . Mal had stumbled on this little back water planet landing was not easy. The auto-flight computer landed the ship in a sloopy mess of a pool of swill.
On exiting Mal had a flash back to time at home on Nal Hutta. Large swamp trees, boggy terrain and various species of life flew and crawled around this planet. Mal could sense and over whelming pressonce of life in the force here. This would indeed hide any young-ling and Master who came here.
The council had to be informed about the find, but on turning Mal's vision failed. His saw only the tree no matter where he looked. A force illusion, it had to be. Mal settle on the ground and started to stretch out in to the force searching for the tree to break it's hold on him. They struggled for what seemed like hours. Nearing the end of his own strength Mal pushed him self once more and audibly heard a sound. He came over to Mal and said,.....
We have worried about you Mal. When you did not contact us with in the week, I and some others came to look for you. So you finally broke free of that Sith Tree hmm?
Mal was in shock not because of his former masters concern but that it was a week since he last ate. He now said,......
Can we just go........... I'm hungry.
Bio:
The timing is after fifty years of pre-birth.
First Ten
Second Ten
Third Ten
Forth Ten
Fifth Ten
Sixth Ten
Seventh Ten
Tuning the Body
&
Eighth Ten
Tuning the Soul
Ninth Ten
Coping with loss and moving on
Meditating in the grand council chamber before the Grand Master and other Masters, Mal was drawn her and there by their influeance in a dream like state.

I'm hungry.
