I'll try to get a post out shortly. I am sorry I havent yet, but there has been problems going on with my mom lately and I found that more important.

Curious though, was it already decided the Sith would fail?

Nope, the outcome is fluid. Whoever gives the better reason/more convincing case to the Cereans will 'win', as far as I know.

I don't mean to sound rude then, but why is there a thread then that states the Jedi made the Sith leave, if it hasn't already been decided? Just curious.

Well, since I left the results for what happens in the thread unspoken, since we don't know what will happen

- Both parties managed to escape with their lives intact, but it seemed that (at least for now) Cerea was clean of the vermin

So Tal doesn't state that the Sith left; its all assumptions. And none of us alluded to whos goal was accomplished(wait, maybe I did? Crap. Well, ignore those from me, once Cerea really gets going and such, Ill make some better edits.)

But Rugs is right. The thread can still go either way; and its at least expected that injuries will occur but no one will die, so we ain't stepping on any toes there. Basically; don't mind the other Cerea thread, thats something in its own right. Focus on *points wildly at thread title* this mission.

Edit: I went through Jazen's post and made sure that nothing alluded to who won or what was accomplished.

By the sounds of it, both allude to the Jedi making the Sith retreat, and does this mean the mission will be carried over into multiple threads then? *is very confused*

Like I said, ignore the stuff in Tal's thread. It is not going to be related to the Sith matter.

Another point; its not like the Jedi are just going to leave even if the Sith managed to win and get their goals accomplished. Jedi(being stubborn as we are) would probably pull back and try to figure out what to do next. It isn't like just winning one fight is gonna turn the whole planet against one party or the other. *shrugs* Can't really say much more than that.

Also, to answer why that thread is up already is because Tal planned to do it after we finished this one, but as you say, RL can suck sometimes, so this one wasn't going anywhere really fast. And its a thread she wanted to do for a while so we just went with "we'll start that thread and try to avoid alluding to the other Cerea thread as much as possible". That's all.

Just to remind you, the Cerea is about an underground movement within the government. It's simply about trying to gain the movement's support/subduing them.

No matter who wins the overall alignment of the planet will not shift. But have the support could potentially mean planet-side help for invading Sith in the future, etc etc.

1) Our has nothing to do with the sith, as stated in the thread Tal is simply looking for her brother

2) because the mission thread WITH the sith is going so slowly and the one I put up is supposed to happen post, I had to put SOMETHING. I made it as vague as humanly possible while still connecting to the fact that they went straight from one thing into another. Obviously, since we're playing jedi, the hope that the sith were driven off (even if it's only appears that way) is going to be the prime choice of things to 'see' happening. You can't tell me that you woudn't do the same if you were playing a sith in the same role. "we drove the jedi back, at least for now (it seems)" Why? because that's simply the way the character would prefer things to happen.

Also, apologies for my attitude, but you must understand, asking the same (more or less) question several times and having the same thing said to you was rather irksome to me....especially after a long day and concerning a thread that really has nothing to do with this one. That doesn't entirely excuse my words, but at least it will hopefully help explain them.

FYI, I've been ultra busy trying to finish off the book I'm currently working on. I know I need to post to the Cerea thread badly, especially since I was one of the people who started talking about this in the first place.

As Jenno said, setting up a faction is the idea there, not taking over the planet with a small group to work with.

So... what's up with the Jedi side for Felucia? Haven't started doing anything yet, and most of the members for the team seem to be gone: Cirith's on hiatus, I haven't seen Elav in a while, and Reg's gone off to who knows where (probably blowing up who knows what). So are the Jedi still going to do anything for this particular mission?

I was requested to step in and help NPC in Cerea, if those in Cerea are down with it, I'll be writing up my post here in the near future.

Well, the Sith side is also a bit slow... we really just need a liaison/contact NPC to get things rolling before we collide with the Jedi.

Yea, so, I'd quite like to actually have some Jedi opposition. I look forward to the Nieraan/Caleb team against the two Jedi Knights as it'll be a little different (what with Caleb not actually being skilled enough to physically fight).

This leaves us with Eurachis and Silas for the Sith (assuming Elav and Cirith will be able to partake) and just Roq for the Jedi. Given Reg's MIA-ness it's probably best we get another Master/HCM to fill his position in this. I can start asking people if you'd like, unless someone wants to to that themselves.
