Sheeor was rudely awakened when the hull of the shuttle came to a halt on the Taris ground. He was hurried out by the pilot, and walked onto the planet.
The planet was alot like Coruscant, except more like a planet that you would want to call home. Amazingly, it was fixed thanks to an Ithorian team of exobiologists, similar to the work on Telos. The air was breathable, the land habitable, the ground fertile and tension was low. Originally, racism was a problem on this planet, as Sheeor had read, but since the bombardment and massive environmental reform, the citizens generally changed their minds about the alien "demons". Now walking with the pilot, the star this planet orbits was setting, and by the time the two reached the building Sheeor was to meet his new comrades in, it had already set.
Once Sheeor made it into the building, the pilot left. Now alone in the galaxy, Sheeor stepped up to the administration desk and got the attention of the receptionist. "Um, I'm here to meet with a... Dr. Hentroo?" Sheeor explained to the receptionist.
"Oh yes, his office is in the third room to your left." She explained.
Bowing to show thanks, the youngling walked down the barren and alien hallway and opened third door to the left. He walked in and called out for the man he was to spend the next few years with. "Dr. Hentroo?"
"Yes?" came a voice from behind some maps.
Sheeor walked over to the voice's hearth, and looked behind the maps to see a young human man plotting locations. "Um, I'm here from the Jedi Order. I'm supposed to be assisting you with a Rakghoul study." Sheeor explained.
"Ah, perfect. You're just the right size and weight for the job. It's going to be great. Trust me. You'll have more of a life here than on Coruscant. But rest up. Tomorrow will be a big day in your life." the doctor looked at him in the eyes. "Your room is upstairs. I know you're young, but this planet is dangerous. Aliens like yourself won't be accepted here."
"But I thought-" Sheeor said in disagreement.
"I know what you've heard. This planet still has racism problems. You won't have to worry about me and my team, which actually consists of some aliens as well, but the rest of the planet isn't as accepting as we are. Especially the Undercity. Good night, I'll wake you in the morning for debriefing."
Sheeor nodded. This is going to be a long night of meditation.
