The mention of Bomas elicited a wry chuckle from Zordon, and he shook his head. "Bomas...feh. Annoying little buggers." Gloved fingers ran over the leather straps of the massive backpack that was the ammunition box for his weapon. Memories jumped into the line of sight of his mind's eye, of fighting the Boma whose skin had provided that leather.

Lia's question brought him out of his reminiscing, and he mulled the prospect of sparring with her over in his head. A grin spread over his craggy green face and he stood, slipping on his backpack for ease of carrying and picking Go up in one hand. "Sure, I wouldn't mind having a go. How are you with staves?"

Part of her was still sore over the fact that the tusk necklace she’d made after that ‘little’ skirmish had been destroyed on Coruscant, but at least her ba’buir was safe from that…that was what was important after all. When he asked if she was game for using staves she shifted slightly as she attempted to decide how to answer that. Truth was…she absolutely sucked at most melee fighting. Sure she could handle her own if she needed to, but that was mainly with short swords.

”Well…I’ll be honest with you…I'm not great at melee weapons. I can do wonders with a regular rifle, blasters, a sniper rifle…I'm decent with hand to hand and close combat, but…give me anything other than a short sword and I'm not gonna last too long.”
