Kiala eye's Arwyn. She listens calmly, her eye's both void of any emotion. She waits until the entire little speech is done, and then says her peice. "Insult my honor again, and I will get up off this bed and put your head through a wall, am I clear on that! You do not say you accept someone then threaten in the same sentence"
Turning to gaze at the large male she states clearly, " I have been working with a resistance group on Dantooine, supplies are short so I decided to get some. I have plenty of creds I'm not using. I had to run a blockade and took a hit to my engines before I could hit hyper space. I had nearly zero power so instead of landing on Onderan like I planned I crash landed here....as soon as I am healed I am going to get my ship running, go to Onderan get my supplies then go back to Dantooine"
Turning back to Arwyn, "I would appreciate all my gear back as soon as is convienyant for you"

If Thel had any eyebrows, he probably would have perked one up at the revelation that this woman was truly one of them. It was true that she had spoken in their language, something one did not learn easily without the assistance of one who already spoke it. It was also true that she was about as defensive as any Mando would be when she was being held for unknown reasons. Still, this did not get Thel to lessen his stance. However unlikely it was, someone could learn these things without becoming a true mando. It would just be very very hard. So until Thel saw the information with his own eyes, he would remain slightly weary.
As Arywn mentioned that for now, the doctors word would be good enough, Thel grumbled his agreement. And then he had to stifle a laugh when Arywn threatened the woman in quick succession. Now that was what Thel would have done had he been speaking. Expect he would have done so from the get go. Even more entertaining was Kia's reaction, as she threatened to get up from the table and put Arywn's head through a wall. No matter how entertaining it was though, it was a threat towards someone he knew was a fellow Mando and Thel's next growl was deeper and more tuned to threatening itself. He actually wished she would try so he could show her just how bad a position she was in.
Since she didn't take any immediate action, Thel settled again to listen to her answer to his inquires. She said she had come from Dantooine, where her services would given to a resistance group there. This confirmed Thel's suspicions that she was involved with the group, known as the DLA. Not much was known about them, nor who was involved with the group; this could prove a good opportunity to find out. The rest of her story had no clear other significance, just a simple run to try and gather supplies. Thel grunted that he was satisfied with that explanation for now, if only because it fit with the situation the ship had been found in. Thel moved to ask his next question, but before he did, he removed his helmet so that his appearance could be seen. He doubted it would work, seeing how tough a show she was putting on, but it was worth a try. He clicked his mandibles once with his helmet gone, then hovered over her.
"That will suffice for now I suppose. But know this; try anything resembling violence while I'm in present company and you'll find "your" head through the wall, that I can promise you. And don't think otherwise; you don't look like much of a threat normally and your injured to boot. So mind your attitude.
Now then. Your equipment will be returned to you when we confirm what for the moment only attributes to one's word. Till then, it will remain safety stored away. And since we're on the topic, tell me more about this group you worked for. I'm quite interested to learn about something so elusive. Unless you have anymore questions, Arywn?"

"This isn't about your honor, though I am impressed at how seriously you take it, and that wasn't a threat, it was a warning and a promise. As a fellow Mandalorian you should know that as a group, we hand out alot of those and we generally keep the promises we make" Arwyn said immediatly after Kiala had finished, though she had to admit that from all appearances, Kiala did indeed seem to be a fellow Mandalorian but, appearances could be decieving and Arwyn wasn't quite ready to put her trust in Kiala just yet.
So far, she'd been confirmed a Mando by the Doctor, and that usually was enough, but, there was the question of Kiala's armor. Her story seemed simple enough as to why she crashed on Dxun but, that didn't discount her entirely.
Arwyn hadn't spotted any clan markings on her armor, so either she'd missed the markings entirely, which was realistically possible, Kiala had been newly adopted into the culture, which was unlikely considering how fluently she spoke Mando'a, she didn't have a clan, which was also unlikely, or she was the imposter Arwyn was beginning to think she was. Arwyn listened to Thel as he spoke, and was momentarily grateful for the back-up he provided. When he asked if she had any questions she just shrugged "Listen, from all appearances you appear to be a vode but, we all know appearances can be decieving, and no outsiders would be caught dead just taking appearances into consideration, let alone a fellow vode. The only question I have is why I didn't see any clan markings on your armor".

The doctor stepped forward before Kiala could open her mouth to either Thel or Arwyn, "Are the both of you calling me a liar? I said she was adopted by me cousin. I vouch for the girl and that should be good enough for the likes of a couple 'verd'. Because its good enough for the base comander, who I might add, opinion has more weight than either of yours"
Kiala sighs and glancing at the male, a slight blush coming to her tanned cheeks lifts her hospital gown up to show a Clan Fett tattoo on her rib's. "And if you look at my gun belt, the emblem is there as well, now once again. I want my gear, and I want it as soon as it can be brought to me."
There is no comprimise in her tone. She wants her armor and weaons, and she wants them now. She tries to adjust herself more comfortably on the bed, and glares at the straps. Taking one in her cybernetic hand she yanks once and snaps it, and procedes to do the same to the rest. "Much beter"
Kiala turns her attention to thel, and snorts, "I am not going to tell you or anyone about them. They are my friends, and trust me. I gave my word...'My Word' to a man I held in the highest regard never to speak of the DLA to anyone outside of the group. So no, I'm not telling you a fracking thing. Not you, not her, and not Mandalore himself, so forget it."

One of the many things that Mandalorian people had that Thel admired was their steadfast courage in almost all situations. Even now, with her body broken, weaponless and strapped down, the woman known as Kia still openly challenged Thel with her words. His hand drifted dangerously close to the grip of his sword, his fingers looping around it suddenly when Kia snapped her restraints. Every instinct in his body told him to snap his blade to life and put the woman back down, but he resisted his more primal instincts, instead settling for a low growl.
His dark eyes darted to the doctor as well, a sound like a snake hiss mixed with a dog's growl emitting from his snarling mouth. To his internal pleasure, she flinched a little at this, although her face still managed to hold its composure. Carefully, he removed his fingers from their tightened grip on his blade, although his hand continued to hover around it just in case.
Clicking his mandibles together twice, Thel snorted at her request, although it sounded more like an order to him. Even if the base commander had given them his pass, Thel could find the little ways to ignore the woman's demands. Until he directly received an order to do so from the base's commander, her weapons would remain locked carefully away. No amount of word from them would change this. Even if the clan marking she showed them was real, Thel did not like being ordered around by someone probably no higher in standing than he was....or in such a high and mighty tone either.
"Watch your tongue, Atin one. You would do well not to forget that your body is not yet fully healed; although it would make no difference.
I don't care what you say, or what the base commander says, or what anyone says about you for that matter. You could tell me the Mandalore is the greatest warrior ever known, but until I see it with my own eyes, it is nothing more than words. And while I do agree that most promises we make are kept, it is still only words. Actions and valid proof are what will sway me to your story and nothing else.
And as I said before, you will acquire your equipment when it is deemed fit to do so. And now, I have no more questions for the moment, so I'll let Arywn take her turn. And phrase that request the same way again; I need a reason to re strap you to that table."

Arwyn smiled as Kiala demanded her armor and weapons yet again. She would've done the same thing herself, if their roles had been switched. A look of surprise briefly crossed her face as Kiala snapped the restraints that held her but, she quickly hid it. She noticed Thel's reaction more than anything, he looked as if he was restraining himself from taking her head off.
The doctor came in a moment later, defending his relative with customary Mando grit, and reminding them that the base commander had accepted Kiala as one of them. Arwyn raised her hands in defeat, the doctor had a point after all, if the base commander accepted the word of the doctor then they probably should too. "Alright, I give. You got the confidence of the base commander and the good doctor, so that's enough for me. You'll pardon my earlier words I hope. You can never be too careful in this galaxy, am I right?" Arwyn said as she lowered her hands. She looked to Thel with a smile and said with an expression somewhere between jokingly and serious "Besides, if she does start anything we can always shoot her."
Arwyn looked back to the doctor and said "So Doc, how's the patient? Would it be alright if I brought her stuff to her? or does she need a couple days yet to heal?"

Kiala eyed Thel. Not only did he doubt her word, and her cousins…but the base commander’s as well. The woman, Arwyn believed her and her cousin. Then again Kiala acted as a Mando’ad, and if the fool would listen for half a second he would know she was.
“Listen Ori'buyce, kih'kovid, and listen carefully to my words, that way there is no misunderstanding what I am saying.” She then repeats the one thing no one outside the culture would know about. She quotes the Resol'nare verbatim, and then goes on to Canons of Honor. “Now, is that good enough for you, if not, to bad and get out of my fracken room.”
The doctor looked at Kiala and nodded, “bring her gear, she wont stop until she gets it.”
“In my ship, same room I got my armor and weapons from, there is a chest that has my Kama and cloak.” Kiala lays back and grits her teeth as her cracked ribs protest the very movement, “I’ll be up and about in a couple days. I’m not exactly normal.”

Since not many Levianeili left their homeworld to venture to other planets, expect ones they were trying to occupy or colonize, not many knew how violent they could get when their patience was worn out. Luckily, Thel's patience had been hardened by his years in the military, both his own and the Mando's. So despite the deep growl that rumbled from his throat, Thel maintained his posture.
With a snort, Thel grumbled under his breath as she recited the Resol'nare in its entirety, giving him the solid proof he wanted. She was one of them.....but that didn't mean Thel had to like it. His eyes darted to the doctor, who he waved off with a shrug of his shoulders. A bit of his building anger, however, was displaced by the comments Arywn made about what they could do should she prove to become a nuisance. He had to admit, he would enjoy doing that very much. So much that he wished she actually would find a way to give him a reason. But that he would keep to himself.
For now, he had to surrender. As much as he hated it, the proof was solid now and he had no more arguments he could make that could defeat that proof. Still, an idea ticked into his mind and one that forced him to keep from chuckling at the thought. Logically, the idea was sound and if it worked, it would ease more of that growing tension.
"Fine. I'll accept the fact that you are one of us. For now.
But again, I think we should keep your equipment out of arm's reach for now. Not because we don't trust you, but because giving you access to it might make you try and perform before your body has healed. As the straps prove, we take making sure our warriors are one hundred percent before they enter the field again very seriously.
If in two days you shall be well, then in two days your gear will be given to you. We can provide you with the base needs from it should you need them, but the majority of it will be kept....in Arywn's hands. She took your side from the start, therefore I'm sure she can be trusted to keep your gear safe. There should be no problem with that."

Arwyn actually grinned as Kiala actually recited the Resol'nare verbatim. She looked over to Thel and thought she actually saw him glower more. Arwyn had to cover her mouth to stifle her laughter when she heard the low growl he emitted from his mandables. From the way Kiala had been acting and the proof given therein by her fluency in Mando'a, she hadn't been surprised when Kiala recited the 6 guildlines that bound the Mandalorians together.
She'd managed to pull herself together as Thel spoke to her about healing first and then getting her armor and weapons back. It made sense to Arwyn. "Heal first, then fight, it might sound cowardly but, you'll live longer than just rushing out into battle like a mad Boma, trying to prove something that doesn't need proven. Conquering in battle does gain you honor but, the most honorable is to live a full life with a history of battles under your belt. Warriors need rest too y'know, we're not robots" her father's words, when they were on Empress Teta together, rang clear in her mind.
"That sounds reasonable to me, however. If I bring your armor and weapons, you have to stay in that bed and heal, you took quite a beating after all. Even I wouldn't be able to move after the beating you took" Arwyn said as she brought herself over to Kiala's side "Besides, Thel will want to find your kama and cloak. There's not much to do outside of this base anyway" she whispered to Kiala with a wink.
Arwyn walked over to Thel and grabbed his arm, pulling him roughly towards the door "Come on aden'ika, let's give Kiala some peace and quiet, while we go find her kama. The boys here can look after her."

Kiala couldn’t help but smirk as Thel was forced to concede the point. It seemed that her time with the DLA had eroded that cold emotionless shell and now the true Kiala could finally show through. She lay back in the bed, and frowned at Thel when he said they would keep her armor until she was fully healed. “That is not for you to decide ‘verde’.” She had carefully put infuses on the word ’verde’ as a reminder that he didn’t outrank her…Mandalorians had no true ranking. “It is my armor, and you hold no rank over me. I take orders from no one but myself, or if Lord Mandalore calls upon me. I don’t belong to the military. Then there is the fact that Arwyn is the one holding my gear.”
Kiala smirked as Arwyn said she would return her gear, “I’ll stay here until I can walk without help…you have my word on that.” The funny thing was Kiala could probably walk on her own right then. However, Kiala was no fool and wouldn’t push herself. Also, the less people know about her genetic alterations, the better. She had been used as a weapon once before in her life and she never wanted to be one again. Let them assume she is some sort of near human if they wished. “After that, I give no promises…how’s my ship? I know she took a bit of a beating on the landing, but she is tough.” There was a note of pride and affection for ‘The Sparrow’ in her voice as she spoke. Kiala smirked slightly, “besides, if she is wrecked, I know two mechanics back on Dantooine that are going to kill me.”
Kiala laughed, but then grimaced and placed a hand over her ribs on her right side.

After all the trouble this stubborn woman had given him, Thel was this close to howling his rage before stomping off to busy himself with something less of a pain to him. But he stilled his anger and frustration and instead turned his attention to a different way of looking at the woman. No matter what he had thrown her way, she had always threatened him back in kind. Despite the fact that she was injured and that he stood a good foot or two above her, she didn't once seem to be afraid of him. Stupid as that may be, it was rather impressive, her undaunted courage.
For that alone, she had some measure of respect from the giant warrior. He made a mental note to find her when she was fully healed, both so he could truly test that courage and put a slight fear of him in her. He would have to overlook the doctors reports as well as any information about the parts of her that weren't organic. Those would be a nuisance if he actually managed to get her to fight. Still, he found no reason to believe that he couldn't take her; it just might not be an easy a fight as he first thought.
At the mention of her ship, Thel shrugged his shoulders, turning to give Arywn a nod. As much as he hated dealing with her, this was something he had checked out thoroughly while she was being attended too. As Arywn tried to remove him from the room, he gave her a slight grunt, then indicated that he was going to stay.
" Go check on her equipment. I'll brief her the details about her ship's condition and then find her the items you requested. And I promise not to do anything else aside from that.
Your ship, atin one, is heavily damaged. Most, if not all of the onboard computers must be replaced. The hyperdrive is cracked and leaking and its engines are shot. The structural damage is also fairly negative, though it should be salvageable. All in all, even working at maximum capacity, your ship will take at least a month to repair.
If it were any other ship, I would suggest taking what you can and replacing it with a new one. However, from your concern for it, I can assume that it holds some significance to you and therefore, you'll want to repair it as best you can. Either way is afforded to you. And by way of apology for my earlier actions, should you choose to repair the craft, I will do everything in my power to assist you in this endeavor. I, Thel Valamdaee, swear this upon my name and life."

Arwyn got maybe an inch, if that, trying to force the big bug to move, she didn't want to hurt him after all. So, when he gave a grunt and indicated that he was going to stay and debrief her about her ship's condition, Arwyn just sighed and said "Alright but try not to kill each other while I'm gone. I don't save damsels in destress everyday y'know" then made a quick exit before Kiala could make a retort.
Arwyn placed her helmet back on her head and walked down the long hallway, the matter of Kiala's truthfullness out of her mind for the moment. As she passed the hospital staff she gave a curt nod to each one. Without these people our culture wouldn't survive for long. Same can be said for the farmers and hunters. They're the backbone of everyone, whether we like it or not Arwyn thought as she headed outside and into the rain, the small tink, tink of the rain drops making their own music as they hit against her armor. She made her way to her ship and requested permission to depart from the control tower, telling them in advance that she'd be returning sometime later. "Rodger that Arwyn, permission granted for departure" she heard come over her com "Thanks tower, Arwyn An'Gol signing out." With that she lifted the ship into the air and made for the crash point of Kiala's ship.
