Official Weapon Name: Sigil Polearm Faction/Affiliation: Mandalorian Classification: Polearm Blade Stock/Custom Stock Manufacturer: Clan Darasuum'Aliike Weaponsmiths Dimensions:Length: 1.6m Weapon weight: 7kg Composition: Beskar Other:- Synth-leather wrapped staff
Description:(Do not own this image. Also, there is no spike at the end and the pole is wrapped in brown leather.) A polearm blade, the Sigil Polearm has been in use with Clan Darasuum'Aliike since it's inception. The weapon is quite difficult to use, and requires advanced training to utilize effectively. A traditionalist weapon, it is considered obsolete and ceremonial but still sees usage on the field of war by the clan that originally created it. Because of its specialty status, Mandalorian soldiers tend to carry a plethora of backup weapons even though the Sigil Polearm in itself is heavy. Good endurance and strength is preferable. The Sigil emblem is branded into the blade near the base.

You do realize an almost 90lb polearm is more or less unusable, right? I mean, unless someone else was using a 90lb polearm, you'd basically get danced around and cut to ribbons while you wore yourself out swinging it around two times.
Also, what's with all the different stuff? One magic metal not good enough?

I meant to say 20kg.
Once that's fixed, as I'm not at home right now, it should be fine.
I figured I didn't want the shaft getting severed easily by anything related to infantry weapons, but I'll remove Ultrachrome as well when I get home. I forgot about Duranium's special properties and thought it simply to be a lightweight and flexible metal.

Well beskar should suffice for your metal needs, I'd think.
And a 40 lb polearm is still very impractical. Even if it's heavy, it shouldn't weigh more than a few kilos.

Made the entire thing composed out of Beskar, still don't want that shaft getting severed by the Mando's traditional rivals.
Dropped the weight to 5kg, although I'm not sure it matches with the weight of a real polearm.

Tried looking around online, and between 5 and 10kg does sound about right for a guan dao.
It makes sense to just use one type of metal if that metal does what you need to the weapon to do. Adding more is just needless complexity and expense. Beskar by itself should be able to stand up to most Echani weapons.

Alright then, thanks. Upped the weight to 7kg, and Beskar it shall be then.
