Dancing beams of every color. Another Plane. Another world. Hyperspace. Grizzelda was alone with her thoughts.
The swirling beams became streaks of white, the streaks of white spots like pin-pricks, the pin-pricks individual stars, and the blur ahead, the city-moon of Nar-Shadaa. A wasp's-nest of villany.
Little Coruscant, they called it. Surely, the similarity was obvious. A city-moon, kin to the city-planet. But Nar Shadaa was less of a little brother as a shriveled uncle. For it had been dipped in darkness, until the con-men grew thick and choking as ivy, and one couldn't pause to think, for fear a shadow would sneak along and steal one's most precious belongings. Ships, gold, daughters, sanity... all things stolen or lost on the streets of Nar Shadaa. A fitting place for a Hutt to make his home, certainly. And right around the corner from all his cousin's upon the Moon's satellite planet. Accursed back-up.
Grizzelda guided her ship into the one hangar she trusted. The owner was decent... at least, when paid the right amount. Honesty was not cheap on Nar Shadaa. And it could be as false as the fake-elixers the con-men were so fond of selling. Youth, Beauty, Wisdom, they peddled. Grizzelda scoffed as she thought of that. Three things in such high demand... one could loose all three searching for one of them.
Her footsteps echoed through the hangar; it was empty. She'd sent out a quick ping... Strae and her crew could find the hangar if they'd liked. No doubt they had their own favorite; every fringer carved their niche on Nar Shadaa. Even so, if they were to rendez-vouz, it would be at this particular hangar. Grizzelda had arrived first, after all.
She watched with interest as a young Twi'Lek boy scurried by. His face was soft with youth; he still hadn't grown into the repulsive look so many of his gender and race bore. He was the son of a slave, no doubt. Which would make him a slave as well. Running errands, for a Hutt, most likely. Silently, Grizzelda wondered where he was going, what was his story? ... but it mattered little, now, and she payed him no further mind.

Faster, faster! He had to run faster! Left turn, around the bend, Duck! Don't drop the parcel. From the hangar-man. To the Hutt. He and his friends called the slug 'Beetle'. Mamma told him to call him 'Scarat'. Name calling, bad.
Ah! Duck again! Watch the foot! Around the Wookie! Noble-Man, bow your eyes. Quick feet, quick! Beetle doesn't like to wait. Not for packages. Around the corner, quicker now! Until you see the Tavern! There it is!
The young Twi'Lek looked up. There was the sign blaring ahead, "Gent's Holiday", the sickly Neon lights casting pale shadows. The shadows reached to the Tavern's neighbor, a weapon's shop, dim and silent in the night. Just like every other Nar Shadaa business had to be; impossible to steal from. But still, the thieves found a way.
The Twi'Lek ducked between them, moving down a narrow stair-case. It looked like those which led to the hidden night-clubs, with its rusty-pipe railing and heavy, iron door. It had been a club, at one point. But no more. Now it was a Beetle's lair. The little Twi'Lek lowered his head as he approached the door. There, in the darkness, was the guard. A Gamorrean, tall, Ugly. He reeked. He liked to kick the messengers.
The Gamorrean let him through, same as always. The Twi'Lek boy pinched his face and tried to dash through the door, but he was too slow. The kick came sharp and painful, and the boy felt tears well in his eyes, but he was used to them by now.
The halls were dark as pitch, and there was a branch immediately after the entrance. This was not the way for guests. Only Servants.
And thieves.
But the dark tunnels soon branched off into the main of the hive. The Twi'Lek boy scurried into the room like a frightened hare, as fast as his little feet could carry him. There sat the slug, upon his 'throne'. He had a self-satisfied look upon his face, as if that was the only expression he ever bore.
Three Twi'Lek stood on each side of the Hutt, each a different hue. They were all dancers, and the boy's mother was among them. She could offer not even a smile for her son. They were chained, held like frightened songbirds, wanting only to bring beauty to the world. The floor was dark and hard, and the cold stung the boy's feet. The room was an even rectangle, the Hutt's throne on a short side, flanked by two bubbling fountains. Columns ran the length of the room, each proudly displaying a different mural, each depicting a different way to live-- or die.
The floor was adorned similarly, a rainbow mosaic of a lush forest; obviously lavishly expensive, obviously from some foreign world. Hidden in the shadows, where only the slaves knew, were a row of hidden guards. There was one for every Pillar. They were cloaked, and silent, and not even the slaves knew what species they were. But they had clawed fingers, and shiny, cruel eyes, like a crow's, and the boy shuddered every time he thought of them.
The boy glanced longingly at the other end of the room. It was the door. The door to the outside... where the guests came in... maybe, one day he could--
That vile voice, like the screeching of a thousand dying banthas. The boy didn't need a translation to know what that voice meant. He quickly dashed to hand over the parcel, and so he did. And then he dashed away again before the Hutt could summon another Gammorean to kick him.
Quick feet, quick! Back to bed, back to bed! Until he summons you again! Quick feet! You fear the kick!

The space outside of the atmosphere of Nar Shddaa was always crowded. When the Shadow Ark appeared, they took care to move out of the open air quickly, before any other ships could arrive...That would have been most devastating. Strae shook her head and blinked her eyes a few times. How she hated going into hyperspace. "Ridiculous..." She muttered. "The target has already landed in Nar Shaddaa!" The pilot told her, "and very close to Scarat. Not in any of our territories though." Strae nodded, the territories he was talking about were a few low profile hangars that had made lucrative business deals with Upezza Keeza in order to keep a free hangar open at all times, and to keep a detailed and accurate log of anybody that arrived at the hangar. They'd also give the spy network much needed hints. Almost every other Hangar on the damnable planet was worked by wealthy noblemen to whom her underlings had connections; all rumors went to the noble men via their servants or their connections. All rumors made their way to Upezza Keeza. "Then prepare the low-profiles dropship for immediate departure. I will be with you in thirty or so minutes." A few minutes later, Strae was in the shower, quickly washing her body off, and releiving the tension in it. The tight knots that came over her skin in the more strained area's, like the shoulders and neck, back and abdomen, legs and arms. It was a meager annoyance, and nothing hindering, but she was a bit worried. Strae wasn't young, and she feared that soon her days of sneaking would be over. The thoughts truly scared her to death. Drying herself out and wrapping a towel around her body she went into her private chambers. It was very luxurious, with a bed in the middle for maximum comfort, built for the noblest of people. Next to that was her hammock, much preferred to the bed. She smiled, thinking about how well deserved her rest would be after the quick meeting with Scarat. She moved to her closet and opened it up. As she gathered her clothes, another thought struck her. Graffion Maruhuey. The cocky mutt was falling into her plans perfectly, but she didn't yet know whether or she desired to go through with the Slug's plan to kill him yet. Not yet at least. She needed to know where his alliances were, what his skills were, and what he desired. Perhaps with a bit more information, she could play her cards just right so that she got paid for the information requested, and the Assassin could do a few favors for them...Then wind up on the opposite end of Upezza Keeza's silent blade. A laugh came from her at the thought as she gathered her knewest of clothes, a particular gaudy piece. ~*~ Only about twenty minutes later, Strae was walking down the ramp of a small ship, with four men flanking her, and a nasty looking female Kaleesh right in front of her, wearing a flowing robe and a skull mask on her face. In her hand was a long staff with a grip in the center. Just looking at it, you knew that the sides of the staff had extra functions, and a close observer would realize that it would pulse electricity, numbing anyone it touched and severely hurting them. As of now it was off. The Kaleesh was more for intimidation than actual defense; but she would be a deadly weapon in battle to be sure. ( A Kaleesh looks sort of like this; but this one has black tinged clothing and is female; images2.wikia.nocookie.net/starwars/images/1/14/Kaleesh_NEGAS.jpg ) Strae herself wore a bright Orange robe that seemed to fit her perfectly, its design had the same functions and general addornments of her normal attire, but this was more stand-out ish. Certainly, beneath it Strae had a better outfit if she needed to sink into the shadows, but for a simple bartering task, this was good. The amulets and boots clicked and clinked loudly as the spies and Strae's personal body guard moved in. Her hands swept out wide, "Ah, you made it safely!" She proclaimed, her hat tilted back to show her full smile. Strae removed the hat by the brim and dipped low in a sweeping, mock bow. "Lead the way, unless you wish to wait for the...Less profitable two, in which I will have to take off without you!" She replied, a not so serious tone giving way. Grinning wide, she shook her blonde hair, and placed her outrageously plumed hat on. ( Lol, Go around the Wookie! Hell yeah go around the Wookie...Far, far around. ) |

Zeth felt a jolt go through the ship as it left hyperspace. He finished washing the dirt off his face, then walked to the cockpit. "We have arrived," the droid announced. "I noticed," Zeth grunted, staring out the viewport at the Smuggler's Moon. It was a strange place. From space, it looked like Coruscant, yet when you got to the surface, though it had it's similarities-- The cloudcutters, the busy traffic lanes, pedestrians walking about every which way-- it was much more filthy and dangerous. The whole moon was a recreation of Coruscant's underworld. One could not walk very far alone without being attacked. Unless you were a Mandalorian with a lightsaber hanging on your belt. Nobody would be stupid enough-- or at least, nobody had been so far-- to attack a Jedi-killing Mandalorian, which was what it usually meant when a Mando carried a lightsaber on his belt-- it was a trophy. Zeth picked up his comm. Whenever he needed to go to the Vertical City, there was only one place he would trust to let him land and not strip the ship for parts-- the Eclipse Shadow Army's building, a rather tall cloudcutter, with a roof built to hold starships. Hykor, the man in charge of the ESA, owed Zeth, so he let him land on their roof whenever he needed. "This is Lieutenant Colonel Kor of the Mandalorian Special Forces, requesting to speak with Dak Hykor of the ESA," he said into the comm, on a frequency that only the Secretarial desk would pick up. A few moments passed, and then a computerized female voice-- as usual-- answered. "Commander Hykor is unavailable. However, I have been told to inform you that you have permission to land." It was rare to get Hykor himself to answer, or even the secretary. No matter, at least he could land now. "Droid, take us down on top of the ESA's HQ. Nice and easy, though. The few top apartments are rented out by them, and we don't want to disturb the guests, now, do we?" He didn't wait for the droid to reply, he just headed back to his room. He took a quick shower, then slipped on some new clothes. He donned his Beskar'gam once again, and his newly-repaired jetpack. ~~~ Zeth trekked through the crowd, most of which parted for him. He was heading for the location the ping had come from, which was most likely either Grizzelda or Strae. He walked around a wookie-- even a Mandalorian with a lightsaber on his belt wasn't enough to scare one of those ferocious beasts-- and nearly tripped over a young twi'lek boy running in the other direction. Zeth looked around, but he saw no pursuers. Most likely a slave running an errand for a Hutt. Zeth shook his head, disgusted. How he would love to rid the galaxy of those evil creatures, but trying to do such would be nearly impossible. They were like air. Stinky air, but air nonetheless. If you removed some of it from a place, more would simply move in to take it's place. Zeth pushed the wonderful thought of a Hutt-free galaxy from his mind, and pushed forward through the crowd again. He reached the area where the ping had come from, a large hangar. He simply walked up to one of the doors, and knocked. They probably hadn't expected him to show up, and the ping might've even been meant for Strae or Grizzelda only. They probably hadn't even known he would pick it up, but he had the latest and the greatest Mandalorian Military tech on that shuttle. Of course, he wouldn't have been able to tell if he was indeed supposed to pick it up. No matter now. He waited for someone to come to the door, ICE-CAR at the ready in case it was the wrong hangar after all... |

Grizzelda looked up from where she stood, leaning back against the brushed metal of her ship. She watched with mild amusement as Strae produced her retinue. Her expression was apathetic, like a panther upon a bough, watching the elephants parade below. She was, to put it simply, unimpressed.
In her opinion, the shade of orange Strae had chosen was quite ghastly. It was definitely conspicuous. Of course, she herself preferred safer, darker shades; her favorite being black. There was no way of predicting when or where a spot of stealth might be required. Then again, with a retinue like Strae's, stealth really didn't seem like a primary objective.
Grizzelda was wearing her bandoleer again. Black canvas, the same color as everything else she wore. There was another slim dagger sewn into the band. Detonators of all types lined its length, painted black, distinguishable only by a single spot of color on each. There was no doubt Grizzelda, and Grizzelda alone, knew which was which. Many other weapons lurked in the shadows of her garb, mysterious in origin. Most obvious was the blaster still in its thigh holster, though it had been joined by another weapon on her hip. It was an odd device, but those with the proper knowledge might identify it as a Verpine Shatter Gun. Magnet-driven, silent, deadly. But a prototype. It held only two shots... but Grizzelda was the only one who knew that.
"Enjoy the trip?" she asked, smile smug, obviously unconcerned about the answer. It was a rhetorical question. "Lead I shall. Though--" Whatever Grizzelda had been about to say was lost. She fell perfectly silent, and raised a hand, gaze distant, as if she was listening to something. The acoustics of this particular hangar were peculiar, and they carried sounds in the strangest of ways.
Foot-falls. Coming closer. "Now who could that be?" The foot-falls stopped. A knock. Grizzelda's grin widened. She made her way along the hangar floor, toward the door. Her feet fell upon an expansion joint, and made no sound. "My money is on one of the 'less-profitable'." She turned around to look at Strae, ignoring the Kaleesh. (Really, was that necessary?) "Shall we let him in?" Her expression was smug, like a cat gazes upon a mouse, deciding if it's worth the trouble of chasing.

2. Yes, it certainly was. Because I needed something to make up for Strae's lack of fighting prowess. Plus, isn't it obvious by now that overdoing it Strae's thing? )
Strae crossed her left leg over, leaning on the very tip of her toe, with her chin resting upon her palm, after a few moments she said, "Alright, since he's come all this way and such...And also since he's got more sample of the root." She replied. She waved to one her spies, who moved over to the door. He was a human of no elaborate description, with a short, buzz hair-cut and simple, common black clothes. He opened up the door, and motioned for the Mandalorian to move in.
Strae did another bow to Zeth, smiling broadly and saying, "Ah, welcome to the party, shall you be a player or a pawn?"

Strae cocked her head to one side, "Is it now?" She asked. "What's best is being a Pawn who secretly plays the player!" A quick laugh, and she made a gesture that basically told somebody to lead on. There was a mischevious grin, almost like a shadow beneath her smile, and her eyes seemed to twinkle in anxious delight.
She wanted her two companions to be put off, on their guard, and nervous. She was slowly concocting a plan to get them involved in the massacre that would follow, the pieces slowly fitting together in her mind. However, she was trying to think up of a way without paying them. Free help= always good. If not a tad unreliable, at least they usually had personal reasons to do what they needed, and hence could be given a large portion of the work without prodding.

At long last Sinvrick finally arrived. He drifted in space for several moments before proceeding to make his final approach. He sat in his chair staring down at the planet, all its lights gleaming like star. Ironic he thought, a planet of such evil, could never look so innocent. He prepped the ship to land.
Upon landing, Sinvrick was welcomed with open arms in a sense, he felt welcome here, among the rest of the scum of the galaxy. They weren't really saying anything to him, but the voices throughout the crowded streets spoke to him, they say, "welcome brother." A chill ran down Sinvrick's spine. He kept his helmet on, rifle in hand, and package sealed tight in his jet pack storage compartment. The only way anyone could get their hands on his package was from his cold dead fingers, which didn't seem likely.
The building where Sinvrick was to meet Scarat stood in front of him tall but a certain presence that Sinvrick was all to familiar with took hold, he knew something was about to happen. This was not his time to die however, their wouldn't be enough people to kill for him to be satisfied with a glorious death. Thus he entered. The doors opened and the slug was the first thing that he noticed, just sitting there all gross like, yet feeling high and mighty, which was clear and visible from the look on its hideous face.
Sinvrick sat down at a table in front of the slug, and withdrew the cargo. He said,"I have what you want."

Grizzelda looked from Strae, to Zeth, then back again, an indecypherable expression upon her face.
"What the hell are we waiting around for?"
Grizzelda cocked a half-smile. Not only could she talk, but she could walk, and her feet were soon carrying her through the festering streets of Nar Shadaa, swiftly moving toward Scarat's residence. She could feel the presence of Strae's retinue behind her, ever present, like a glow at the periphery of her vision, even whens he could see none of them.
Grizzelda herself faded in and out of view, through the crouds, just another fixture of urban sludge. But Strae could follow her; of that Grizzelda was certain.

It was not long before a dark, run-down store front gave way to the imposing entrance to Scarat's abode. Grizzelda had entered through the servant's entrance several times before; she knew the underbelly of the place wasn't as nearly as impressive as its front. It struck Grizzelda just how many people were like that; only putting on a brave face.
Too callous to be disgusted, Grizzelda made her way through the broad front door. She was not unnoticed of course; that was impossible when taking the front door to a Hutt's home, but it couldn't be helped. Strae's retinue would be quickly behind.
And this is where Grizzelda would slip away... She had previously given Strae the root; insurance, for Upezza Keeza. Both she and the organization knew not to cross each other. At first chance, she ducked into a servant's entrance. She earned several glowers from slaves as she wove through the shadows, but none of them had anything to loose by Scarat's death or embarrassment, so they said nothing. Finally, she made her way to the shadows behind the slug's 'throne'. Those shadows swallowed her, until nothing but her pale face gave a ghostly shadow of her presence. She was nigh on invisible. Scarat's bodyguard whispered something to the Hutt, do doubt warning of her presence. But the Hutt did not flinch. He'd worked with the rogue before... And so left her unbothered.
Though, Grizzelda swore silently as she watched Sinvrick enter, just before Strae and her retinue came into view. He would get to the Hutt first.

Scarat's yellow eyes narrowed as he looked upon the newcomer. Ah, yes, it was the Sinvrick fellow. The one who wasn't quite right in the head. He'd been promising. And he had delivered. Or so it seemed.
"Let me see... what it is... you have brought."
Scarat's thick tongue curled around the syllables of Basic, many of the sounds coming deep and guttural from the depth of his throat. Scarat distrusted translators greatly, and only employed them when absolutely necessary, and those were always paid highly enough to ensure honesty. But that was not the case here, for the Mandolorian obviously spoke the standard tongue, as did nearly all of his race.
And so Scarat awaited his answer, still aware of the woman that lurked behind his chair. Odd, that she would take interest in what she had. Scarat's eyes remained upon Sinvrick...

Strae almost cursed as she saw Sinvrick. Her group had just turned the corner, just about to arrive upon Scarat's audience chamber, when she saw him. Guards were immediately before her and her spies, telling them to stop. Strae narrowed her eyes at the first guard, and when someone like Strae did that it wasn't good. The guard, knowing her reputation, visibly shivered, and seemed about to give up, but bolstered by the others, he maintained his position, "You'll have to wait until the meeting is over."
Strae's body guard stood tall and proud, suddenly flexing her muscles. Scarat's main guard trembled again, and actually lowered his warning weapon, a long shock stick, to try appear less threatening to the bodyguard. A small smile curled onto Strae's lips, and she bowed, signaling that she would wait. Perhaps this would go over well. Perhaps not. Either way, Strae knew it would be amusing, and knew she would turn whatever curve ball Sinvrick threw against him. Reaching up to her ear, she flipped her now repaired Ear Wig on and listened intently to the conversation ahead. For now, Upezza Keeza would stand aside, and watch, if only for the simple sake of amusement. After all, Ten Thousand Credits wasn't much to them, and they didn't have an aweful lot of stake in this whole thing.
( Never goes as planned these days. >_< )

Hud: "Scanners indicate previous encountered sentient from Felucia in area"
Sinvrick didn't care, they were here, performing their usual what ever they please duties to their spy organizations, he had a bigger agenda. Not matter, he no longer wanted revenge, in any case a thank you would be much more appropriate, if it weren't for the Scarat and his men, Sinvrick wouldn't be the way he was. Curse the others. "Here take your damn plant, I have no use, I'll simply take the credits and go." He spoke, yet under the table, his most concealed weapon, a small laser cannon, extended from his left for arm armor piece.
A man walked over and gave Sinvrick his credits and took the plant from him. He took the credits retracted the cannon into his armor before they noticed and walked over to the bar and bought a drink. The bartender gave him his drink and he removed his helmet. He turned and leaned against the bar. Knowing full well that a spectacle to remember would enfold before his eyes. He looked over in the direction of the others and nodded his head, and gestured with his hands as to signal a go on with a slight grin.

Strae continued on, disappointed in Sinvrick. Strae was beginning to doubt Sinvrick's intentions. If this went oft plan, she didn't plan on attacking. Besides, here, now, it was simply too soon. No, she'd not do anything, as planned. Too many things had already happened off plan.
Instead she produced the root. "The gift of immortality..." She crooned, bringing it close to her and taking a great sniff. "Smells like bantha fodder, if you ask me."

Utterly joyed in the fact that the others were probably very confused at what Sinvrick was thinking and what happened to his plan. He grinned, they still haven't got it. He muttered under his breath, " Strea I know you can hear what I am saying, I understand you are probably very confused about what you just saw me do, but think about it, I'm still here aren't I, I just want to keep the element of surprise on our side, if your still helping that is?" He took a large gulp of his drink.
Sinvrick looked over to the Hutt and wispered, "Your move."

Strae didn't turn to him, she just licked her lips once, a nervous and frustrated tick that she rarely ever, ever showed. "Its your show." She said to the slug, though it was more to Sinvrick, which she hoped he caught on to. In other words, she currently wouldn't make the first move. "And its your place, so how much do you want, Scarat. And know that there are a few unexpected outcomes that Uppeza Keeza isn't happy about, my friend. Us, and our new found associates, would like to ask for some compensation if that is alright with you." She spoke so honestly and innocently, that she seemed to actually believe that perhaps the slug would be generous and kind enough to do that. Of course, only the most naive would do that, and Strae wasn't naive. She didn't expect Scarat to believe her so naive either.

((Gar, same thing happened to me. Except, I thought I'd posted said post several days ago, and am just now realizing that was not the case... drat, what was I gonna say? ...))
While Sinvrick and Strae were exchanging less-than-kind words, Scarat called over one of his guards, the same one who had tended to Sinvrick. He was an Arkanian offshoot; military-cut hair the color of snow, electric green eyes, and a sixth finger on his right hand. He was tall and densely muscled, with a look on his face that said he'd just as soon strangle you as ask you the time. And in this particular case, looks were not deceiving.
A sound like a ladle scraping the bottom of a stone cauldron raked at Grizzelda's ears; the Scarat was saying something to the guard in Huttese. Grizzelda, who had long ago decided the language was one of the most important to comprehend due to the infamy of Hutts, understood perfectly.
"Perhaps I shall spring the trap. Perhaps not. Depending on the conversation I have with this woman here," He obviously meant Strae, "I may give the signal. Do not hesitate. But do not act unless I tell you. Sinvrick may be of more value alive than dead..."
So that's what the Hutt was discussing... Sinvrick. Grizzelda knew the subject of the conversation would be none-the-wiser. Even if he had understood Huttese, he would not have been able to hear, and he was no doubt somewhat distracted by his toying with Strae. No, Sinvrick would be caught by surprise.
The man nodded to Scarat and took his post, hiding in the shadows behind the Hutt's throne.... Opposite Grizzelda, not seven feet away. He looked directly at her. Grizzelda didn't even flinch; she'd been in similar situations a thousand times before. She winked. What did surprise her, however, was the man's response; A flash of a smile flickered across his face, gone as quickly as it had come. Grizzelda smiled slowly, for allies can be found in the most unassuming of places.
While she would have spent longer considering this, Scarat had begun to speak again, this time in Basic. Grizzelda quickly stopped to listen...

"Ah, Mistress Strae Arhst. Welcome to my humble abode." It was obvious in the Hutt's tone of irony that he thought his 'abode' was far from humble. "I am honored to have such a... prestigeous representative of Upezza Keeza in my presence. Your retinue is... impressive. You humans can be quite entertaining. But you are not here to listen to an old Hutt ramble, are you? No, you are here about business. Regrettable. You spied never stop to smell the Chardonnay, always to the point, aren't you? Always about Chardonnay. But I am an... honest Hutt." Again, the previous irony in tone was present. "You will be given the payment as promised. Whether said 'unexpected' arrangements ruffled your feathers is not my concern. Unless you have more to say, I direct you to my servant," He gestured to a subservient Rodian, "And you may choose either the 3,000 credits, or the certain... rare artifact." Scarat settled back, a self-satisfied look on his face. He would fetch much more than 3,000 credits for that root... because he had the connections. It was great business for him. What did he care if they were offended to be sent at the same time? The window of opportunity was small, and so he'd had to... multi-task. That was the ostensible reason, anyway...
But you know what they say. Never trust a Hutt.

Strae listened to the Hutt, picking every word he spoke apart, and thinking on her feet. "White wine is not to my liking." She replied, "I prefer Red." She laughed, "But of course, your measly pay hardly covers the costs. In fact, I couldn't hope to celebrate our new found friendship with a bottle of Chardonnay if I wanted to." She stood up and said, "Reconsider, be you friend or foe, because Upezza Keeza is the best at what we do, and we certainly would like a long and fruitful relationship." She suddenly considered something. Slowly, she started to look down to see if there was a trap door below her. Never trust a Hutt. Either way, she made certain to articulate her points by standing up, and walking off to the side, moving in a casual manner toward the Rodian. All the while, her, and her retinue, fingered flash bombs in their palms or pockets, taking care to hide them from prying eyes.
All the while, he bodyguards eyes were glancing from floor to the sides of the room, checking for traps.

The Hutt licked his maw while gesturing at a Gammorean who looked like he wanted to greedily devour every bit of flesh in sight. ~ What a ball of slime. Grizzelda thought, smiling at the accuracy of her description. She silently hoped Strae would attempt to bargain... Scarat was no coward, but even he appreciated the value of repeat business. His prices were never fixed. She might even be temped to take care of things herself... but she found watching Strae much, much more amusing.

Zeth decided now was as good a time as any. He stepped out of the shadows from in between two pillars, and he was almost certain that something had shifted on either side of him.... "The original deal was ten thousand credits, not three thousand. And you also said that it would cost another thousand to make it usable in this..." he hefted his ICE-CAR as he talked, "But it won't work in there, will it? Not that it really matters. I want ten thousand." as he said this, he pulled the foot-long section of root out of his pouch. Somehow, it seemed as if it had grown an inch, despite being... dead. Well, it didn't even seem dead. It still seemed alive, somehow. "The problem with hiring more than one person to get you something, is when they all bring it back, they all want the money. I thought that a Hutt would be smart enough to know that."

Sinvrick didn't notice Zeth enter. The others did get their cash, that was a bit of surprise, Sinvrick wasn't expecting the Hutt would keep his word. Sinvrick looked down to the other side of the bar with a disapointed look on his face. Wondering what the others were thinking about doing now. As it stands, with all the group here, taking the Hutt down plus his guards as will, maybe even a few bistandards in the proccess.
Sinvrick's intent for this building was burning down to the ground with the Hutt still breathing on the inside to burn to death, but that was Sinvrick just being himself. So he continued sitting at the bar watching the others get just that much richer. One thing was for sure he wasn't leaving Nar-Shadaa with out a smile of accomplshment on stapled to his face. The only thing that could put that smile there however was violence his hobby, his favourite pass time, his own personal reward. He'd let the others act first if any thing would go down. Sinvrick let out a large yawn of boredom. His patience was wearing thin.
