Time period: Five years ago
Location: Jedi Temple
Participants: Iris Darko ; Elysia Chronostia
"Uhh.." Iris sank his chin into the table, he let out a puff of air. he had to complain "by the force, why did master Koth sent him to read datapad after datapad about diplomatic records?" Master Koth should know by now that this young Lorrdian wasn't the most diligent student when it came to reading and researching. That old Bothan should have figured by know that while Iris was smart he is the type that learns from talking, seeing and experiencing rather than reading and watching holograms of important diplomatic events. Sure Iris had seen a couple of body reactions from those long gone senators, but it wasn't enough to make him a better diplomat. If Koth wanted Iris to learn diplomacy then he should request to be part of a diplomatic envoy, not have Iris be stuck in the archives for the force knows how long.
"Uhh..." Iris rose up and look up at the pile of datapads that Koth had personally picked up for young Lorrdian. The boy hanged his shoulders again and just looked utterly defeated, he could have used Jamillia at this point... She was a bookworm and she always had a way to make the young Lorrdian understand thing related to theory. But sadly Jamillia was no longer a part of the order and she had been shipped off to the agricorps. Iris thoughts drifted back to that girl, she was a good friend and one Iris wasn't willing to loose, he should find a way to stay in contact with her.
Iris shook his head, now it was not the time to be thinking of something else, he had a more daunting task at the moment, he had to get through this pile of data... hopefully he would finish some day soon.
"Uhh..." The boy muttered again, he picked up one of the datapads but instead of reading it, he just carelessly stared to scroll down the text. He didn't want to be here... He rather be sparring and doing something than just waste his day stuck in archives. Iris was certainly not the type that enjoyed being stuck in the archives of the Jedi temple.
"Maybe I should get something to drink, I could use something sweet" The boy finally gave up and stood up, he left the pile of datapads and disk there on the table. There was no one around so he should be able to get something and then return to his reading.
The young Grey robed padawan left the archives and headed up to the mes shall, there was a vending machine that had a green sweet drink that Iris liked a lot, he could use that sweet and sour drink right now. Some time passed and Iris got his drink and lazily made his way back to the archives, back to his bane.
Iris entered the archives and found it as empty as it had been thirty minutes ago. He made his way to the far corner where the table he was using was. Iris was surprised to find another person in the table, that someone was picking up the mess of a pile of datapads.
"Excuse me... I'm reading those" He said as he got closer, a big yawn escaped Iris mouth soon after.
