Name: Bellinda Maskrr; Mei Lin (while operating on Republic Worlds); Lady Cassé (Sith Name)
Race: Miraluka
Age: 28
Birthplace: Coruscant
Allegiance: Sith Order
Status: Lady of the Sith
Rank: Lady; Public Relations for the Sith Order
Height/Weight: 5’2/ 97lbs
Appearance:
In a single word Bellinda is breakable. Incredibly frail and petite this once beautiful girl has wasted away. Her once creamy pale skin has taken on a greyish tinge stretched tight over her bones. Nearly every bump and groove of her ribs and spine are visible beneath the thin layer of tissue protecting her.
After one finished marveling over the incredibly frailty their eyes would be draw to her face, slightly angular with high cheekbones the youthful beauty of her past still lingers here, though the obvious wear of the last few years are apparent. Like all of her species Bellinda is lacking in eyes, the mere shadow of sockets all that are left of the evolutionary step her species had taken. These vestigial eye sockets with their tendency to unsettle other species are constantly covered by a silky textured scarf wrapped like bandages across them. Her hollow cheeks are delicately framed by slippery long vivid red hair, falling just past her shoulders.
Clad in robes of inconsequential color, she chooses them purely for comfort, for feel. The soft slippery texture of silk most appeals to her, though flowy breathable cottons are always an option. Set firmly in her right hand is a long plain wooden cane, the texture of the wood soft and smooth beneath Bellinda's fingers.
At first one would question the use of the cane but quickly they'd see from her gait that Bellinda walks with a pronounced limp. Beneath the fluttering robes her right leg is twisted and broken, disfigured beyond repair and riddled with scars. Left in constant pain the serious faced young woman rarely smiles, holding herself in constant restraint and focus.
Personality:
If there was one thing Bellinda most prided herself on, it would be her restraint. A reserved and generally private person, Bellinda is notoriously hard to get close to, despite the friendly words and soft smiles she is known for at various formal gatherings.
Intelligent and witty Bellinda, especially with a few drinks in her, can be quite charming, to make up for her off putting appearance. Her demeanor and keen memory makes ever client feel special, taken care of.
Forever a perfectionist she strives, quietly and without boasting to be the best, to do her job, no matter how tedious and worthless she might think it is, is well done. At the end of the day her clients are happy, the Sith remain well funded and Bellinda gets what she really wants, knowledge.
Thirsty for knowledge, Bellinda will absorb any and all information she get her hands on, her time not spent schmoozing the rich and social elite then spent listening to lectures, studying dark side techniques and questioning Master's on matters of philosophy and science.
Despite her associations with the Sith, Bellinda does not think she's a bad person and has a very intense and internal sense of justice. Through a process of self loathing guilt and delusion Bellinda is able to continue her work for the Sith, at the cost of her looks and health by convincing herself that all the wicked, cruel things she does are for the greater good. A twisted greater good decided by her.

Biography: Coruscant was bustling the day Bellinda Maskrr was born, a bright smiling newborn to her immigrant parents. Having traveled to the bustling city planet from Alpheridies where the pair had grown up as farmers and saved their pennies to move to the big city world, a land they hoped to be full of opportunity.
Sadly within their first year the young couple had discovered that city life was not as exciting or charming as they were expecting. The first year they struggled to find work, only being able to do odd jobs for merchants and living in a run down apartment. It was then that Myra Maskrr discovered she was pregnant. The couple, not willing to give up on their dreams of city life yet decided to look into adoption.
Finally, after many months of struggling to get by Myra went into labor. It took many hours, but finally a small hairless little girl was born. In the months leading up the pair hadn't found a family yet and were terrified of leaving the poor nameless child in the hands of the system. Coruscant though had funny rules, rules involving the testing of all children for the potential to become Jedi and the small pink Miraluka child was perfect for such. As soon as the parents were given the option they, relieved, took it. Without even giving her a name, they passed the baby on to a Kiffar woman clad in brown and white and in a swirl of robes they never saw her again.
The Kiffar woman, Ororo, who tended to the babies consulted her book of names for whenever a nameless child entered their ranks it was her responsibility to name them, in the most logical way, in alphabetical order. The night before she had brought over three children, named respectively Yiri, Zarkan and Aveline. Consulting her book she found the latest 'B' girls name she had scribbled down and dubbed the child from that day on, Bellinda.
The years passed and the happy pink little baby paled out, and grew into an active little red head. A bright, studious youngling Bellinda took everything about being a Jedi to heart, hanging on to Ororo's every word. Everything was of interest, botany, astronomy, philosophy she hungered to learn more and more about everything, finding in knowledge satisfaction and happiness. This hunger for knowledge would be something she'd carry on through her Padawan years.
Finding little interest in lightsaber combat, Bellinda only learned enough to be deemed competent, despite the interest and tutoring of her young friend Karon provided.
Karon Merritt came to the Jedi when Bellinda was five years of age, having known nothing but the Temple and the field trips Ororo took them on. Karon though knew of the world outside and its horrors, having been captured and imprisoned by pirates from a young age. Though the pair were incredibly similar, brought together by their species, Miraluka and their innate sense of justice, they couldn't have been more different. Karon struggled with his aggression while Bellinda developed in a formal, and rather reserved young woman drawn more and more into her studies while Karon tried to conquer his aggression through lightsaber training.
As time went on the pair, who has become close friends were seperated. Taken on by a Wookie Jedi Detective by the name of Germerak, Bellinda was chosen for her ability to be objective and her reserved demeanor, thinking she'd be suited for work as an investigator. Her work would be focused on the dark side of Coruscant, while Karon took a different path. Their parting was bittersweet, a single gift of a simple carved wooden necklace adorned with their initials passed between the two, but promised of future meetings and a continued friendship.
Bellinda took to her apprenticeship happily, relishing in her Master's ability to hunt down even the most elusive criminals. Working with CSF they solved several cases while Master Germerak taught her the basics of telepathy. Under his guidance she was able to extract crude amounts of information from accomplices and hide their meddling with a wave of her hand. It was difficult work, and took Bellinda years to learn, even under the extremely controlled situations set up by her master.
Her days were spent studying, thirsting for knowledge and to learn about the universe her dear friend was exploring, while her nights were spent sleepless, crawling the Coruscanti underbelly. Her training continued in his fashion for several years, before the Master and Apprentice were assigned on their toughest case yet.
A serial killer gripped Coruscant, its victims, elderly women and young children. CSF were being driven mad by the monster's taunts, cryptic messages and gruesome displays. But he was careful, he had killed nearly a dozen before CSF requested help from the Jedi. A task force of Coruscant's most prestigious investigators was formed, Master Germerak himself involved. He was hesitant at first to include Bellinda, who was 19 and nearing her trials. But time was short and Bellinda was adamant, her desire for justice burned within.
It had taken 4 months, after they had joined the investigation, before they finally tracked down the perp. The monster that was Jorah Wynters, a simple accountant, with a dark past. The final confrontation was after he had abducted a small girl, and the Jedi arrived just a moment too late to save her life. He surrendered immediately, and was taken into custody. Bellinda though demanding something swifter, harsher. She wanted justice, execution.
Master Germerak informed her, in his harsh growling tongue that they were not judges, they were enforcers and it was not their place to determine life or death. She accepted this answer, though something in the pit of her stomach nagged, writhing slowly and uncomfortably.
A few weeks before the trial, Jorah escaped and disappeared back into the Coruscanti underbelly. He didn't stay quiet though. His escape led to the deaths of five more children over the coming weeks before finally he took his life.
The Jedi Task Force took the news hard, but Bellinda took it the hardest. For the first time in her life, Bellinda couldn't control the anger and the rage in her heart How could the Jedi, her heroes, fail the people so? If they had listened, if they had merely acted and brought the justice they promised too, those children would still be alive.
The anger and even more so the guilt plagued her, and even the harsh truth delivered by her Master, that these things happen and the Force and the Universe worked in mysterious was, did little to calm to storm within her.
It was then that Belinda turned to her closest friend and confidante, Karon. Though he was off exploring the galaxy the two had the occasional holocall and it here that Belinda sought guidance. Karon agreed that justice had not been served that day, that inaction was to blame, but he begged her to reconsider her fantasy of running away to battle the Coruscanti underground with her own brand of justice, citing the idea as misguided and foolish. After a few hours of talking, Belinda relented and promised to stay, seemingly pleased that he'd be returning to the temple within a fortnight.
But sadly, torn by guilt and a sense of duty Belinda left the temple within the week, slipping away with a few choice words to her Master, before leaving the only home she had ever known, only a handful of possessions in her bag.
Like they had warned, the slums of Coruscant were harsh and Bellinda stuck out like a sore thumb. A young, masked Jedi who prowled the streets taking down muggers and other petty criminals. The going was slow though, Belinda soon found, forced to live off the streets she sought to clean up, left craving the connections and cases she had while working under Germerak. After 6 months of barely scraping by in the lower levels of Coruscant Belinda found herself the enemy of a particularly nasty small time drug ring, and was forced to leave the planet. Rather than return to the Jedi with her tail between her legs she used the last of her money to get to Nar Shaddaa. A young force user could get decent work there she heard.
Within a month of living on Nar Shaddaa, selling her services as a mercenary during the day, working the streets as vigilante known only as the Red Death by night, Bellinda was offered a permenant position. Kao Zall, a Dark Jedi who worked as the right hand man under Bieli the Hutt took her on, claiming the now twenty year old woman had moxie and praising her eagerness to learn, and oh how she learned. Belinda, who craved the instruction and mentorship she had back with the Jedi became Zall's prized employee teaching her the rough basics of mental brutality as well as destruction techniques.
But Belinda did not lose sight of her goal, the young Miralukan took every advantage of her position under the crime lord to take out various crime syndicates. The Red Death had not died, only moved and became more powerful than ever as she caught a swath of blood and justice through the Smuggler's moon.
Four years passed as Bellinda worked under Zall, carrying out missions in Bieli's name and despite her side work as a vigilante she found the guilt beginning to crack her cold aloofness. Food began to lose its taste, and she found herself going days at a time on only the bare minimum of food. It didn't seem like a problem at first, if anything the weight loss was welcome, normal for the lack of sleep and rest she was getting, tirelessly trying to make up for the deeds of her day job, justifying the lifestyle she had become accustomed to.
As time pressure and the hypocrisy began to wear on the young woman a new issue presented itself, Kao All's interests had taken a new turn, away from simple assassinations and smuggling deals and into a new layer. Prostitution. One day while escorting a particular set of goods Bellinda stumbled upon her mentor's new project, girls of many species and ranging in ages of 10 to late 20's all huddled together in an old brothel, awaiting instructions and customers.
Horrified Bellinda returned to Zall, seething that he could do something so monstrous to children of all people! In her fury she killed the other employees and challenged Zall himself. Sabers flashed, and in the end Bellinda emerged the victor, but less than whole.
In the confrontation with Kao Zall Bellinda was crippled, her leg crushed unceremoniously in his force grip, using her most rudimentary knowledge of healing she was able to seal the flesh and knit the bone back together, preventing death, but the limb would never be the same. Twisted and ugly, the mangled limb would create am pronounced limp that would follow Bellinda for the rest of her life, unable to walk at all if not aided by a small wooden cane.
Now crippled and utterly alone Bellinda was unable to continue her work as vigilante, and began to eat even less, wasting away in her own skin. The once happy, brilliant and beautiful woman reduced a shrivelled cripple within a few months time, perhaps she would have stayed that way if not for an interesting conversation in a bar.
The zabrak man, who went by the name of Miles, told her of an order of force users like them. There was structure, a goal, an empire and a war brewing, the Sith Order. At first Bellinda was horrified by the idea, the Sith of old were cruel and villainous, everyone knew the stories.
But slowly the idea made more and more sense. She was at the end of her rope here on Nar Shaddaa, a blind, half dead cripple. But with the Sith she could get stronger, she could learn again. And knowledge and power she could return to her goal, she could overcome the massive disability and destroy the wicked with a single sweep of her hand, it all made sense really.
And so Bellinda, now 26 and aged beyond her years moved to Korriban, joining the Sith Order as an initiate. As the months passed Bellinda was assigned an odd variety of work, though more often then not she was found entertaining investors, corrupt politicians and Sith Aristocrats, becoming something of a public relations specialist. In exchange for their vast knowledge and training Bellinda took on the tedious business of arranging contracts, attending grand parties and schmoozing the rich and social elite so that the Master's and more important Sith could fight the wars, while she found funding for them.
It was through this work Bellinda met and began the adventurous, and brilliant CEO of Adega Airships, Sebastian Monroe. A relationship that baffles most tabloids between the two continues to this day, though Bellinda hoped to soon become more than just the masked, gaunt face of the Empire.
Soon enough Bellinda proved herself, becoming the apprentice of Lady Renata of the Inner Sanctum. Under Renata’s tutelage Bellinda began to truly learn both the force and the ins and outs of the opulent class. She enhanced her telepathy and began to pluck the very fears from a person’s skull, to use the force not as a brutual weapon, but as a precise tool of manipulation. She and Renata’s other apprentice, Jessoin Zarander made an excellent team. The Dog and the Cripple.
Now, Bellinda, as is the tradition of the sith has taken on yet another face. Lady Cassé of the Sith Order. Though she finds the tradition of being reborn under a new name silly, and is more inclined to introduce herself as Bellinda all the same.
