Alrighty then, let's keep this ball rolling.
-Official name is the official class name the individual craft is modified from. For example, the Millennium Falcon's official name is "YT-1300" (a ship that, incidentally, sprung from a line that the above-mentioned YG-4210 prognosticated--over 3,500 years from now. Is the design similarity merely coincidental?)
-You'll need to list at least some form of sensor equipment under "Other" or have some other explanation regarding the ship's role to have an above-average sensors rating.
-As there is no picture, a slightly more in-depth physical description would be appreciated. There are a number of excellent sights that can provide many good starship images.

I see no need for an official name change since this was make in koda's head from scratch and yes it is coincidental that it is similar to the YG-4210.
any suggestions on the sensor equipment and a manufacturer?

Uh
Unless he runs a starship manufacturer, then this wasn't your character's idea. It's just a ship he happened to take. Which means it would have an official designation.

I'm exhausted. Please refer to my other reviews. IF you glean anything from them, you'll know what you need to know to make this approvable.

why can't koda submit his design and have it built from a different manufacturer?

Okay, let me run an analogy by you.
Do you go to a car company and submit a design so that they build you a custom car?

that depends on a great many of factors how much money you offer, maybe the manufacturer excepts personal requests, the company could need money bad.
You know what forget that tell me exactly why I can't walk up to a car company and submit a design so that they build me a custom car?

There is so much wrong with that.
First of all, the more a company is hurting for money, the less likely they are to be able to spend resources on custom orders. Secondly, a 19 year old smuggler is not going to have enough money for that unless he was born into a REALLY rich family. And by rich, I mean child of the CEO of Czerka (that position is filled, by the way). Or if he won the space lottery. 10 times in a row.
And finally, the analogy was very generous because CARS ARE NOT OUTFITTED WITH MILITARY GRADE WEAPONRY.
It's not that a custom order is impossible, but it would cost SO VERY MUCH and is SO VERY IMPRACTICAL when you could just get a stock vessel and modify it to match your specific needs.
EDIT: Custom still doesn't have an e in it

Alright, I've read through your bio and I can assure you that even a galaxy-renowned family of artists wouldn't be able to provide the fortune needed to complete an undertaking like this, and here's why:
-In order for the business to be on a scale significant enough to even approach having the funds to order a custom fleet for one person, it would no longer be a private business. At that point, you would have investors that would be pretty cross with your character as what he's doing is essentially embezzlement. You said yourself that his own works of art didn't sell so either he is the last of his family with no means of continuing a successful business, or he has stolen his remaining family's entire livelihood out from under them for his own selfish desires. Either way, on a private scale you would at most be able to commission the smallest of these vessels and maybe the Land Ostrich.
-A much more simple alternative would be to design a truly cutting-edge craft and sell the design to a manufacturer. They would then create stock versions of the ships which would be sold to everyone including your character at a significantly lower price than commissioning a one-of-a-kind design that requires resetting an assembly line twice. Not to mention the money made from selling the design could go towards the ship's purchase. Would it be enough to buy his own capital ship, hire a crew, and register for the training and licenses required to operate a heavily-armed vessel? I sincerely doubt it. It could, however, easily be enough for this ship and the Land Ostrich.
-There are just so many limitations on a character of your age and background that these costs unfortunately tend to come out of the woodwork like this, and I hate to essentially review your character in a tech app but it does directly affect whether or not I can approve them. So please, take what I've said into consideration so we can get this over and done with without any further hassle, misunderstanding, or murder charges on a young superhero's record.

I will sort everything out eventually but regardless of whether or not my character can have this ship or not I will still want to use it later, in what I do not know yet.

Then make it a stock vessel created by a ship manufacturer. Sure, then ANYBODY could have one like it, but you're an anybody, so that includes you.
