The Sith was reacting quickly to anything those pesky jedi could bring to the table, although they were just as prepared for him. So the primary goal was to simply eliminate one, in doing so he could even the odds a bit. Lucky for the Zabrak Sith these two were rather rash, and simply took turns bum rushing Zanabar. This time the large hutt had chosen to charge Zan, who took a defense stance.
The moment the large hutt was within close range he struck the ground and sent a serge of force energy though the platform. As the ledge underneath the two shattered, Zanabar's only play was a rather risky one. Making a rather powerful force enhanced lunge at the large and open body of the hutt with his saber pointed,he slashed at the right arm of the beast and then followed up with a stabbing motion with hopes to impale the huttish Jedi.
He had fallen into the body of water just as the Hutt only to attempt to swim to a large exposed stone that lay within the dirty swamp water. This was like any other swim aside from the discussing smell. Zanabar may very well have a chance to escape this situation, he knew the woman would wait above, ready to strike Zan if he decided to climb back up the ledge. If he had managed to stab the large worm like creature he may remain within the lake with a rather serious injury. He knew one thing, he couldn't very well fight in water so, seeking dry land was priority number one.

Mal saw the blade fall to late to move his hand. The smell of burning hutt flesh filled his nose. The great pain coursed through his arm up into his shoulder. In a rage Mal lashed out toward the sith. His blast wasn't meant for hurting the sith but robing him of his prize, the sampling of the flesh rot. He'd hoped that the blast would either tear them free or crush the containers before he fell into the soupy muck that was his world. - Riding the cliff down Mal grabbed his saber with his left sword hand. The landing splash made a mucked wave that washed every thing for a hundred yards. The depth of the muck was very deep given the chunking out by the cliff. Mal held his breath and drew on the force as he laid deep in the muck. The force that he drew made the muck swirl and eddy as it grew in strength. Soon Mal's pain became manigable for him to move. - Slithering from the depth with the greatest ease Mal surfaced letting the mud and muck slide off him. The disturbing snap hiss of an angry saber sounded shortly before it increased in volume. Mal activated the second stage of his saber. Growing to five feet in length the blade crackled and snapped as Mal moved slowly toward the sith. A pain pulse arched up his arm due to the open wound. Raising the saber he let the heat of the blade carterize the stump. Mal never took his eyes off of the sith. - *In hutties.....'Evil shall not prevail without cost. Prepare to pay for your wicked ways sith. You shall not pass!'

The hutt's arm was stolen with one swift strike by Zanabar, although he proved unable to impale the large worm like creature before he would dominated by the force and tossed a considerable distance away. He landed in the water with a splash as expected, but lucky for him the contents of the container were still safely locked to Zan's back. The straps were tight and the bag sealed.
It required a much more destructive approach if the samples were to be damaged. As previously planed the Zabrak swam to a large rock standing in the runny muck that is a Nal Hutta swamp. In a fit of rage the Hutt spewed some vial sounding words spoken in a language Zanabar could not comprehend. As the Hutt's words to the Zabrak concluded Zan could only smirk and activate his weapon with the Hutt's.
"Whatever you say big guy..." Said the distant Zabrak with something of a mellow grin. He soon decided to gather force energy and focus it on a single large point of the cliff beside the Hutt. With a extreme rush of power the Zabrak used the force to crush the area of the cliff nearest the Hutt. Plotting to end this little party now with the hutts demise Zanabar caused the crushed stones in the cliffs lower body to eject, almost as if bursting forth to claim the Hutt's life.
Dust and rubble flew from the cliff with intent to pulverize the large creature, although that wouldn't prove the finisher. For the crushing of those stones had caused the cliff to cascade from above do to the lose of lower support. The Zabrak would see that as his remedy for this battle and decided once more that he wanted to attempt to flee to the opposite side of the lake. He would move though by jumping to every visible rock, and log floating in the marshy liquid. He only hoped he could make it across before the hutt or any other beastly thing that may lay deeper below the lake's surface.

Mal's anger was flaring to great heights, so much so that he did not notice the sith's force actions. What broke his anger and calmed his mind was when the released force from the sith was sent to the near-by cliff face. Bemoaning himself for his emotions he realised that his hatred was blinding his vision from the warning signs from the force as to the actions for the sith. Now he was going to have to deal with his lack of control. The rock, debrie, and the following cloud of dust came rushing toward him. As it did he sank into the muck and mire of the lake hoping to use it to slow the coming onslaught. - Sinking further down the liquid nature of the lake told him by the snapping and popping of the cliff face that more was coming and ha had to move. With the face hitting the lake, Mal half crawling/swimming, he moved as far as he could. The impact pressure moved Mal farther and deeper into the mire. Using the protective power of the force Mal worked hard to keep the bubble from popping and the mire from crushing him. Thoughts of his lab and the jedi temple were holding his focus and giving his force the power to develop and sustain the force bubble. He hoped that the force would right the wrong by making the samples taken invalid or asking more from the sith who was going to twist it for their own wishes.

Zanabar's assult worked and he was in the clear, he was sure that Hutt couldn't survive under their for long and if the woman chose to come after Zanabar and not save the large worm like creature, the Hutt's fate would be sealed. His enemies were Jedi, it seemed unlikely that Zan was still priority one while one of their own was knocking on deaths door...
Although that didn't mean much for Zanabar's salvation has come, a Sith transport bolted in from above, with its entry hatch open. It hovered only a few yards above the lake within jumping distance for Zan if Force leap was used. Everything had worked out well for what he had planned would be his final mission. he had half of the samples and his droid had delivered the other half already. Even if a few samples were damaged it would only slow the Sith's plans by weeks, if even that.
Plus if he told the order he had eliminated a Jedi he has Sith Agents to confirm. When he broke into a laugh he said " Well it was fun Jedi's give the Hutt a nice headstone okay!" Following he leaped into the ship as it took off, hopeful unhindered.
