The DS-08 Vibro-Ax, the signature weapon of Mandalorian Clan Awaud, is designed to deliver powerful strikes capable of crushing durasteel plating. The high-power vibrogenerator, located in the upper section of the haft, allows the head of the ax cutting power beyond the capabilities of any conventional vibrosword. The main drawback is of course it's weight and density, as well as it's shape. Being made almost entirely of beskar, the weapon requires significant strength training to wield properly and even then it is a very slow weapon, requiring precise timing. The shape of the weapon also means that attempting to parry is very difficult, especially against one wielding a shorter, faster weapon. As such, the primary strategy of such a weapon is 'kill on the first strike', prolonged battles put this weapon at a disadvantage.

Only complaint is that it should be a fair bit heavier than that (especially since it's beskar). Heavier weapons like axes aren't nearly as effective without momentum, and the more mass, the more momentum.
