For Anya there were few things in life that could be better to fly her ship. Sure, she loved sniping, in fact, she would often say that the way in which often took down targets were artistry in their most pure form. A poetry of a single instant that would be remember but never heard nor seen again as each one was distinct and unrepeatable. However flying was different, there was a sense of liberty as she flew her ship, as if she had being meant for that all along.
As she sat in the cockpit of her ship, the swirling image of space as the ship traversed hyperspace would fill the control room with a blueish hue. The control panels to her left chimed in, indicating the return to normal space, followed by the general rumble of the ship as swirl came to a halt and the view of a sea of star and a single world appeared on the viewport and with that a smile was drawn on her face.
"Home." She muttered at the sight of Mandalore. Setting her ship on course, the Pantoran kept her hand on the controls as the descent started, the dark hull of her ship kissing the atmosphere, surrounding the vessel with flames, fading away with time and as altitude decreased. A series of jovial chimes and whistles came behind her. Turning to see the expected source of the sound, she would find her droid, T7, rolling behind her.
"Yup, I'm going to visit mama, Parja and my nephew, but I thought we could go to Keldabe to get some supplies and a gift for Tor." Anya told the droid before turning back to the controls of the Lucky, the droid would respond again with a series of sarcastic chimes that only managed to bring a chuckle to her. "Well, yes, I might get a drink or two, but we will be at the Farm tomorrow."
Leaving the subject aside, she directed the ship towards Keldabe, within minutes being given the permit to touchdown on one of the landing pads. Carefully positioning the ship, the landing structs extended from the hull and whined as it's hydraulics supported the weight of the ship before the engine of the ship came to a halt. Stepping from the controls she turned around and traversed the narrow corridors of her vessel until she reached the boarding ramp, the warm weather that she had known as she grew on Mandalore caressing her skin, provoking another smile from her.
With T7 inside guarding the ship, she had little to worry about. Deciding what to do, she supposed that she could have some relaxation before doing the grocery shopping. Thankfully she didn't need to look very hard for a cantina. Moving towards the counter, she tapped the worn wood. "Give me some Kri'gee, would ya?"
