"Very well, Aunna. I do, however, suggest that you watch your back. Someone has the desire to do you harm and I cannot always manage to be there to keep you from harm. You had best think long and hard about who may potentially want you dead."
He drew his hand away from her touch, fingers briefly curling into a fist before he let it drop back to his side once more. He pulled away. The place was bare. One wouldn't even be able to tell that he had ever been here if it wasn't for the fact that he'd brought her here to keep her safe.
"Don't come back here, Aunna. I won't be here. There is too much risk now that someone else knows where I reside. I'll find you."

She gave a slight chuckle, which of course hurt her throat, and shook her head.
Don't worry. I rarely come looking for you...today, obviously, was out of the ordinary.
Aunna stood, thinking for a moment on which person it was that might be trying to kill her...this time. There was, of course, a list of people if could have been...not like she was the only one in the republic army to have such a list, far from it....but she had done quite a few things to make a good many people despise her. Narrowing her eyes slightly the major huffed slightly and put it from her mind at the moment. She had other things to deal with at the moment...like making sure the army wasn't about to pull the city apart trying to find her...if they'd even learned she wasn't in the rubble already.
Until next time Vex.
Aunna said, returning to her more formal self, her tough 'shell' coming up around her personality like a brick wall. Her mind buzzed slightly with questions as she left the room, but she didn't turn back to ask any of them.
Upon reaching the site of the explosion, those who had been searching the rubble looked up at the new comer, a few security guards coming over. Pulling her ID out of her uniform, she began helping with whatever she could, though to the others who knew her, she seemed more stoic than normal.
