Jerek Kahn sat, crossed-legged in the center of his ship, the Shade Slayer. His ship, however was docked with another. A Pirate Lord by the name of Rah Boralis. Jerek remembered the hollow he offered him. Jerek could have easily cut him down. He was after all only a Pirate. A Fringe of sociaty. But, sometimes the least likely people can be the most powerful allies. He took another deep breath. He felt the Shock Hammer buffeted slightly from the atmosphere of a planet. Korriban.
Jerek didn't bother to conceal his smile of glee at finally arriving. Here he would study into the depths of the Dark Side. Here he would become more powerful than before. He slipped his cloak on and proceeded to the cockpit where his pilot droid lay motionless, shut down. He spoke into the transmitter. "I thank you, Rah Boralis. It seems our journey has come to an end. This should be close enoguh for me to undock and fly my own course."
Jerek flicked the droid on and gave him his orders before exiting to the center lounge of the ship. He looked at the planetery map being projected by the hologenerator. He could land in the desert somwhere, search out a tomb of a dead Sith Lord. Yes, that sounded like a good plan. He felt the Shade Slayer undock from the Shock Hammer. The pilot droid flew the ship away from the much larger one and followed the course Jerek had just transmitted into him.

"You are trespassing in Sith airspace, deviate from your present course or you will be destroyed!" Rah glared at the transmitter as the voice of some Sith naval officer crackled over the line. If they identified the ship as the same one stolen from their shipyards, there would be hell to pay. The pirate glanced over at Jerek who was absently watching the proceeds from the navigational station.
Rah picked up the transmitter We do not wish any conflict. I am Arran Perseales, a privateer wishing to ally myself with the glory of the Sith Empire. My ship has been severely damaged by a run-in with a Republic task force. I wish to join you to make those miserable gurrecks pay for their insolence.
There was silence over the air. When the officer spoke again, Rah could tell by his tone that he wasn't buying all of this. Nonetheless, a pair of interceptors glided up alongside the Shock Hammer and proceeded to guide the craft towards the planet's surface. Jerek stood and walked back to the hanger. Rah nodded and opened up transmition with the fighter escort informing them on his friend's intention to depart from the craft in-flight.
The fighters gave their consent and one broke of to monitor the Shade Slayer. Good luck to you. Let us hope the next time we meet won't be at the tip of the other's blade. Rah chuckled and cut transmition. He watched the Freighter shrink into the distance then turned his attention to an issue he had been putting off for a while: landing.

Jerek's eyes flashed a little with yellow. He suddenly ran for the gunwell. He clambered down into the turret. He turned it on the escort fighter. Before the fighter could take evasive action, Jerek shot the cockpit, obliterating the entire fighter. He aime dat the one guiding Rah and blasted it as well. "Perhaps we will not meet at the end of each others' blades," Jerek chided the man. Leaping up to the lounge, Jerek returned to his previous duty. Charting out the desert. It showed some tombs, a few small setlements, a couple of compunds for observations made by the Sith Empire.

Rah swore loudly as the fighter escort burst into flames alongside his craft. Where they under attack?....The pirates face turned rock hard. The blast had come from the Shade Slayer. He grabbed the transmitter and roared into the headset at Jerek. YOU FOOL! You've doomed us all! Now the whole fleet will be after us!
Jerek only chuckled over the line and stated that the whole fleet would be after the Shock Hammer not him. Rah watched enraged as the Shade Slayer darted off towards the desert sand. Even assuming that the hyperdrive still worked, the ship was too damaged to make any sort of escape attempt; the Sith fleet was between him and flight into the stars. The ship was too large to hide effectively and Rah would not give up his prize so soon after acquiring it.
There was only one thing to be done. If the Dark Jedi was going to betray him, he would return the favor. Rah reconnected to the Sith fleet. Alright, I lied. My name is Rah Boralis. Rah couldn't help but smile at the murmuring he heard in the background. In case you haven't figured it out, this is the very same ship that was stolen from your precious shipyards and I am responsible for the EMP. However, this is not the greatest of your worries right now. I am not the ones who fired on those fighters. There was a rogue Dark Jedi aboard my craft who, until he decided it was against his best interests, was working with me. He was the one who shot down your fighter escort, not I.
Rah could tell these guys weren't buying any of it, and he didn't expect them to. However, Rah had a secret weapon to unveil that he hadn't used in years: the truth.
He is heading into the desert to study the Sith art. I do not know why he wishes to gain this knowledge nor what he plans to do with it, but do any of us really want to find out? I have lied to you and I will probably do so again, however this is the truth and I have proof. Dark Jedi aren't the only ones who don't trust anyone....

"Blue lead take Red, green, and your flights and intercept Bogey 22-Omega, Copy." Flight commander Rebilas Keal set up in his seat as his comm crackled to life. "Copy flight control, red lead, green lead follow blue flight in" he set his throttle to eighty-eight percent as he swept in towards the armed freighter drifting though the atmosphere. "Command I have visual, are we to shoot her down?" he asked as the small craft arched towards the ship. "Negative escort them down, we already have units en route to detain them once it reaches the ground."
"Copy, Red, Green, Blue, fall into escort pattern with the freighters." Keal glanced to his right as blue three peeled off to the right as he pulled his throttle back and slid along side the freighter. The escort looked to be simple for several minutes before a shock wave shook Keal's interceptor. "Blue lead, Bandit has destroyed red five you are orders are you are clear to engage." "Roger, red break off and prepare for for torpedo run green and blue flights lock S-foils in attack position and line up for your strafing runs!" he hollered orders out as he snapped his own fighter's wings out and slammed his throttle to full before banking a hard left. Rebilas strained as he fighter pulled a four G turn towards the shock hammer and let six blast from his medium laser cannons streak into the freighter's side before quickly rolling his fighter over the fighter he could see red flight's Terror assault fighters let torpedoes fly and fired their heavy laser cannons as he pulled his fighter around for another pass and letting off a stream or medium laser cannon bolts. "Blue lead pull off your attack command orders you to cease your attack!"
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Pirate Vessel your are ordered to exit the planet's atmosphere and move to this location." Captain Elise looked at admiral barj who nodded before transmitting the finale part of the coordinates "the fighters will escort you deviate from the path or fire on a sith vessel and you will be destroyed."

The pirate hadn't even noticed the other fighters until they opened fire on him. If he hadn't impaled the alarm box long ago, he probably would've gone deaf. Rah grasped the wheel tighter and Tssslk hopped onto the throttle though he knew it would be no good. The tulvaree looked up at Rah with an indifferent look on his face. Well, I sssupose thisss isss it then.
What are you talking about you oversized gecko? It isn't over til I stop drawing breath. Not a second after saying this, the deathly rattling of the Shock Hammer ceased and a voice came over the transmitter. It told him that he would be spared for now if he did exactly what he was told. Rah was tempted to tell him to jump in a sarlaac pit but instead responded calmly into the transmitter.
I'm afraid you ask the impossible. This ship was meant for a large crew to command it, now that that traitor has left I find myself the only one on board other than Tssslk who, though skilled for a tulvaree, just won't cut it. Then there's the fact that you've just taken a few more chunks out of this already badly damaged hulk. No, I'm afraid the only things I can do now is steer my decent and make a crash landing as smooth as possible.
The voice on the comlink didn't sound amused by the news. He instructed Rah to get the ship as high as he could into tractor beam range. Whoever this was, he sure seemed eager to talk to someone who has really caused nothing but trouble for the Sith Empire.
Rah answered that he would do his best and turned to Tssslk. Tssslk, reroute all working power sources and fuel to the boosters. Rah returned to the comlink, I'm going to spike the boosters, it should theoretically give me a short burst of speed sufficient to get this craft into the upper atmosphere. Have your tractor beams ready as there will only be a short window of opportunity before the engines cut out on me and I plummet to the surface along with enough explosives to evaporate a small city.....alright......HIT IT!
Tssslk rammed down the throttle and rah pulled up as hard as he could. The Shock Hammer creaked and groaned as it protested against the sudden change of speed and altitude. They had approximately 12 seconds of fuel tfor this feat. Rah had put his life into the hands of someone who had been shooting at him not minutes ago, what was this world coming to?

The massive bulk of the Victor shook and bucked as it skimmed across the atmosphere to snag the ship in there tractor. "In range in 2, 1....Got them captain." "On my mark rotate the projector and pull up.." the captain of the victor waited several minutes before giving the order to basically sling the shock hammer clear of the planet and deeper in to the Sith fleet.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"The Victor just sent the ship towards us, admiral" Barj nodded to Elise "Yes, thank you Illena, set us on a intercept course to catch it in our tractor beam and tell all the ships with in Oh, 44,000m to lock it into their targeting computers I don't want it to have the chance to fire a crippling weapon. I will be waiting in the fore hanger for our guest bring him there."
"Yes, sir"

Jakob's ship, The Red Dawn Slowly veared toward the small desolate planet until he could faintly seemed to see small skirmish off in the distance. "Damnit, that looks like a tractorbeam." He grunted to himself, but who could it be? He got closer until he realized it was small ship of the Sith Fleet. He knew he had already gotten to close to get by it without them noticing. His only option was to go at the thing head on, so he punched the throttle and neared the ship as fast as he could, praying things would go his way, but no. It turns out the beam was stronger than he thought, and he was caught in it as well. "Oh thats just ******' wonderful!" he yelled in anger. So he sat back and relaxed, knowing he could do nothing to escape the grasp of the powerful ship.

The Shock Hammer lurched as the tractor beam made connection. Not two seconds afterward, the engines wined to a halt: every bit of fuel and energy mercilessly drained to facilitate the demand of that last leap of faith. Now, the tractor beam held fast and Rah could feel the hulk being slowly lifted towards the Sith craft above.
There was another jerk and the ship threatened to drop suddenly before regaining its path. Tssslk glided up and perched on the rail in front of the bridge window. There isss another shhhip caught in the beam just above usss.
Rah glanced out, mildly interested before returning to the wheel and sitting down. Opening a small compartment in his cybernetic leg, the pirate removed a small wrench-like tool and began to adjust various nuts and nobs on the metal talon. The tool flew from his hands as the ship began to rumble violently once more. Rah felt pressed to his chair as the G's exerted their power on him. The Shock Hammer was being hurled at great velocity around the ship towards the Sith fleet waiting in orbit.
A small craft flitted by the window, apparently flung as well. Must be another captive. The Red Dawn...
Rah looked up inquisitively. You know of it?
No, I saw it painted on the side as it went by, just thought you might want to know.
Your senses never fail me Tssslk... He had adjusted to the sudden acceleration and stood up uneasily. Obviously they wish us to dock with one of their larger ships to discuss matters....or kill us, they both appeal about the same amount to me. I do hope they'll realize that we have insufficient fuel to adjust course or even stop by that matter.

"We have to contacts ma'am." Elisa looked quickly down at the sensor officer. "Two? I suppose it doesn't matter just tractor the large one. Comms dispatch two the the Seekers to run down the smaller one and destroy it."
"Ok, locking....got it."
"Seekers are running the ship down now, Ma'am."
"Good, comm down to the admiral that the ship he requested should be hooking into the clamps momentarily."

Dylan suddenlybecame more alert as in the corner of his eyes he saw 2 small fighters flying his way, wildly firing a spray of shots in effort to blow him out of the sky. He felt the jolt of movementas one hit his right wing and the other impacted on the hull. He new only one thing would work to save his life. He prayed that the weapon systems were still active as all of his other systems were shutting. He closed his eyes, pulled the trigger, and miraculously, it worked. Three shots fired off before the turrets shut down, one went right into the cockpit of one of the fighters, the second hit the other fighter in the wing, making it spiral out of control until it exploded. And finally the third hit the side of the capital ship. However the third did not do any damage due to the ships shields. Jakob sighed in relief, but knew if they were to send out anything else for him, hew was done...

Jerek sat in the cockpit beside the pilot droid, watching the whole thing unfold. The ships he had destroyed were acknowledged, the Shock Hammer was being taken captive and a third ship was caught as well, but had destroyed three small fighters. He smirked a little, then chuckled. Who knew by just destroying two escorts such chaos would occur? "Take us down here, Pilot," Jerek said, indicating a small cliffside. The droid obeyed, flying around a few outcropping of rocks to land on the small cliff-side, just big enough to hold the small, Dynamic-class freighter.
This spot would serve as a good enough hiding spot until the events overhead quelled a little. Jerek gave the droid the orders to stay put until further notice, then walked to his quarters aboard the ship. There, he sat in the center of the floor. His knees were touching the floor, his toes were bent to shift his balance, and his buttocks lay upon his heels. He rested both hands on his knees and began to stretch out with the Force, meditating.

(OOC: And finally the third hit the side of the capital ship. However the third did not do any damage due to the ships shields. I still have shields?! Incredible!) Rah was two concerned with preventing the shock Hammer with simply colliding with a bulky portion of a Sith fleet to pay much mind to the small dogfight taking place just outside. The emergency generator only supplied enough power to run life support and a few other necessary doo-dads but all forms of control were dead and even many of the scopes were down. The pirate picked up the transmitter only to find it nonoperational as well. The distance between the two large crafts was shrinking at an alarming rate, Rah estimated about 7 minutes until impact. The pirate lept up suddenly, his brow furrowed in the way it always was when he was faced with a new challenge. He strode across the bridge and picked the tool he had been using to adjust his cybernetic leg off the ground and immediately began to loosen a set of bolts along the "thigh". The panel fell off with a loud clatter and exposed a vast layout of wiring and a large power cell. Rah disconnected the power cord and jammed it into the input slot on the transmitter. The leg convulsed and threatened to give way underneath him, but he stumbled upright and braced himself up against one of the station tables. The transmitter crackled to life and Rah couldn't help but smile slightly and even Tssslk gave a sigh of relief. Now that communication could be re-established, Rah picked up the transmitter and connected with the ship getting closer every minute. This is the Shock Hammer, my systems are down. I'm on a collision course with your craft. I'd advise you to change your position immediately or both ships will sustain heavy damage. There was no answer over the line and Rah was right about to give up hope when the engines began to flare on the Sith warship. The craft began to move forward slowly.....too slowly.... It would not clear the vicinity before the Shock Hammer made impact. Rah glared out the window another moment before stumbling towards the large blast doors which he forced open with his vibroblade. Abandoning your possst are we? Tssslk's airy voice carried across the bridge but Rah just ignored him and kept going. His cybernetic leg barely supported his weight as he dragged himself down the corridors and into the hangar. His beloved Tear Runner looked a bit bedraggled as he had yet to repair it since the attack on the Jewel. The repulsors lifted the fighter from the hangar floor and swiveled Rah to face the large, disabled hangar door. Rah blasted the various control boxes around it with the ion cannon and the doors eventually short-circuited and opened. He would fix them later if he ever lived to make it to port. As the Tear Runner sped out through the hangar, Rah contemplated the option of just fleeing now. He could probably escape in all this commotion and start from scratch. The thought passed from his head as quickly as it had come. The Tear Runner pulled up alongside the Shock Hammer and matched speed with it. A large panel slid open on the bottom of the fighter and a long, complex docking claw emerged and latched onto the Shock Hammer's hull. It's time to haul some serious cargo. The Tear Runner swiveled about so it was facing the opposite direction as the host it has attached to and ignited it's engines to full propulsion.

"The big ship is thrusting away, Ma'am."
"Comm tell them to halt their burn and that we'll catch them, open the fore hanger and ready all the tractor beams to catch them."
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Are they in range for you light tubolasers yet?" The captain arched up in his chair as the Koshika streaked towards the small freighter her sister ship lagging a few hundred meters behind. "Almost sir, just a few more minutes, but sir at this speed we'll be hard pressed not to slip past them."
"I don't care helm keep us going full.."
"Sir, their in range"
"Finally! swivel the light turbo's around and open fire."

Jakob saw the massive warship begin to move again, coming right for him. Oh hell No He mashed every button and knob hoping that the ship would respond in some way. An then, as he was about to give up hope, the lights turned on, and then the engines violently came to life and shook uncontrollably until they stabalized. He felt a wave of relief engulf him. The communications systems came to life and as Jakob turned around, headed for the planet below, the Warship fired it's Turbolasers on him, he was hit multiple times on the left flank just as he was entering the atmosphere. The damage caused the ship to again shake violently and crash land onto the hard rocky world below.
___________________________________________________
Jakob lay unconcious in the cockpit until a small rodent like creature crawled onto him, waking him from his sleep. He jumped up in suprise, looked up around him to see his ship smashed into a rocky cliffside. The Red Dawn was damaged, but not unflyabble. He sat down, turned on the engines and they were on. He rose about 45 ft, fearing to go any higher because of the condition of the ship. He glided over the barren landscape for around an hour until he finally came upon a small cliff with a ship perched right upon the top. JAkob pulled around looking for a place to land until he found one, about 100 feet away. He pulled down ontop of the sandy ledge and came to a thunderous stop. He walked through the desert until he got to the other ship on the cliff. He took a deep breath, walked inside through the oddly open door, and saw the man meditating.
You. I've followed you around now ever since the whole little skirmish up in space. Your a Dark Jedi, I'm a Dark Jedi and I need your help.

Jerek heard turbo laser fire in the background, followed by the sound of a crashing ship. The Shock Hammer perhaps? Then, he heard the whine of repulsorlifts. A ship was taking off? He quelled his thoughts a little. Then, his senses flared as a small flickering red aura began to come closer. It walked into the Shade Slayer. It came through the halls, finding its way to Jerek’s quarters. It was outside of the door, then walked inside, finding Jerek. The man announced himself as a Dark Jedi. Jerek didn’t wait to tug his lightsaber from his belt and ignite it in the man’s face. The dark yellow blade was inches from his face. Should he kill him or spare him? He flicked his eyes downward. A lightsaber rest on this man’s belt as well.
How did this man even get into the Shade Slayer? The humming of his lightsaber seemed to be the only sound right now. Just these two locked eye-to-eye. Jerek let his thoughts of Rah Boralis slip away. His hand was steadily holding his lightsaber at the man’s face. If this man was indeed a Dark Jedi, then perhaps Jerek could use him. He wasn’t dressed as a Dark Jedi, however. The clothes he wore looked more of the politician type. Another reason Jerek could use him for?

Jakob chuckled a bit as the man jumped up and ignited his yellow lightsaber in Jakobs face. Before you kill me, think about this for a seccond. We're both Dark Jedi, If you want proof than here you go.
Jakob reached down and ignited his crimson blade.
We both obviously hate the Jedi and Republic, and I'm the Governor of Coruscant. Imagine what we could imagine playing both sides of the fence here. And if you think I'm not powerful enough, then remember that I could escape a sith fleet, safely crashland, track you down, and break into your ship.

Jerek swatted the crimson blade away from him. The crackling of the momentarily connected blades filled the air. "A lightsaber proves nothing. But, perhaps I could use you." This man could possibly play to the hidden Sith Lords' uprising when it was afoot. Jerek kept his lightsaber ignited. The dark yellow blade illuminated his face, showing the lines on it, acquired from years of using Dark Side energy.
His piercing yellow eyes bored deep into the man's eyes. Jerek could sense a connection with the force within this governor. But, how did this man hide his true nature? How did he hide form the Jedi stationed on Coruscant? Some sort of technique that Jerek never bothered to learn, most likely.
Jerek pondered on this whole matter. It didn't take a fool to escape a Sith fleet, crash-land, track, or break in. Or even find a lightsaber.

If a lightsaber proves nothing, perhaps this will..
Dylan raised his hand towards a large canister of supplies. He reached out with the force, llifting the canister into the air. His hand tensed up when he sent out an arc of lightning towards the canister. It smoked from the heat given off. And to finish the act, he condensed and smashed it upon itself, shrinking it to the size of a slice of pizza. He then lowered his hand , causing the canister to drop to the floor with a metallic clank
Is that good enough for ya? He said with a smirk on his face as he de-ignited his lightaber and reclipped it to his belt.

"Perhaps so." This man indeed had the force, but was he allied with the Dark Side? Or just a Jedi spy? Jerek rubbed his chin with his free hand, but kept his other hand firmly gripping his lightsaber's hilt.
