Having finished their small meal of fruit, Looma and Cal stood in the back of the meeting room. The yellow Twi'lek glanced toward a nearby window and noted the position of Bakura's sun. It had been awhile since the dark Jedi had left the 'recruits' after introducing them to the possibilities of a new life. She had thought the woman had left to garner their transport off planet, but that could have been done much quicker than the time that had already lapsed.
A little confused, she looked briefly over at her companion, before looking to the Force for answers. Looma closed her eyes and opened her awareness to the energy that surrounded all beings, an energy that had gifted her with more power than most beings. She felt Caleb beside her, burning brightly. She smiled, moving on. All of the other workers in the room were there, warm beacons. The Twi'lek took a breath, her lekku slightly twitching as she extended her feelers farther out, stretching to feel anyone else. To figure out if this was all a hoax, that maybe they were never leaving this wretched life.
There it was, her answer. She felt the dark Jedi from earlier, the one who spoke to them, and also Zarene, the one who found her and Cal in the forest. She felt hostility, and it wasn't just from the presence of the dark side surrounding those two. No, she felt others... Jedi. Powerful Jedi. What was going on here? Perhaps it really was a trap, but not a trap for them, but for these fallen Jedi, these dark ones.
Looma opened her eyes and looked to Cal with a puzzled look. Was their new life going to be over before it could begin?

(Alright finishing post, and I phail for taking this long to make it. With this post the thread is officially over)
Oh how she longed to kill the fool, her body cried for blood. She would satiate its needs, this annoying Jedi's blood would paint the floor. The Echani female was in mid-charge as Tuljima's lightsaber raced towards her. Batting away the lightsaber with the lightsaber in her left hand, she suddenly realized she had left herself open. The fire of a blaster came moments later. She brought her right blade down as fast as possible, barely able to deflect the bolt away.
The Jedi had already dived off the side which Gabriella had also been forced to do. The Echani craved for this man's blood but her common sense was beginning to kick in through the bloodlust. Any moment now, the powerful Jedi and that pretty Kiffar girl would be back. Even Gabriella knew when she was totally outmatched. She would never surrender to a Jedi, but she wasn't ready to die either.
"Zarene!" the girl suddenly yelled
Gabriella turned towards the only exit and with a burst of speed shot forward. She just hoped that her partner would figure out the plan and get out of there. Either way, if she wasn't smart enough to run then she deserved to die. The Echani quickly pulled out a comm unit and handed out rapid instructions.
"We are leaving, get the children on the ship and prepare to get the hell out of here"
"Y-Y-Yes mam"
Cowardly fools
She was surprised that they hadn't run away by now. Then again, Gabriella had garnered herself somewhat of a reputation among the Sith troopers. They knew that getting on her bad side would almost certainly result in a very slow and extremely painful death. The young Echani sprinted through the hallways towards their ship.
Arriving a minute and half later, she found everything in order. Luckily for her, whoever was in charge had a head on his shoulders. She would reward him by keeping it that way. Sprinting up and onto the ramp she didn't slow as she went full speed towards the cockpit.
"Take off now!Make sure we aren't followed!"
She had forgotten to threaten the man but in retrospect she really didn't need to. The ship quickly ascended and burst forth from Bakura's atmosphere. She watched the co-pilot punch in the coordinates for the hyperdrive. The pilot nodded as streaks of blue appeared before them. She had completed the mission, and needed to report back to mistress Renata. Hopefully she could find someone on Korriban to toy with for awhile, she needed to relieve the stress.

((I know Jace said the thread is over... but there was the small matter of recovering lightsabers for Meira and Arichi that I felt important enough to add another post. Mara, Vreem, I hope you don't mind my mentioning your characters boarding the ship.))
Meira's advance back up through the complex was slowed by the soldiers and droids left in the Council woman's wake. The extent to their difference in skill was not lost on the young knight as she struggled against those the woman had left so easily behind her. Meira might have taken the easy route and blamed it on the less familiar lightsaber in her hand. But she was never one to shy away from criticism. As she deflected bolt after bolt, Meira saw the Council woman's performance as a mirror that she might work to reflect on her own abilities.
In any case, it didn't really matter. Even as they fought, the invading forces were moving in a general retreat pattern, so Meira pushed forward. When she finally returned to their previous location, all was rubble. The Dark Jedi had abandoned the room and were retreating back to a ship along with their forces and.... were those workers from the facility? Hostages?
It was the logical answer, that the invaders were taking hostages so that they might not shoot down the ship, but part of Meira rejected the word even as it came to mind. Those workers... former Jedi trainees... were not forced onto the vessel. Meira had seen a yellow Twi'lek move freely across the landing pad and up the ship ramp, a boy at her side. They seemed concerned, but not exactly afraid. And then the ship was rising off the ground and growing smaller as it sped to break free of the atmosphere. Meira watched it escape, a sinking feeling in her stomach telling her that something was just wrong.
There was nothing for it now, however, but to pick up the pieces left behind. Those agricorps workers who were still present were consoled and taken care of, communications were reestablished and the Republic was dispatching more troops to guard the facility. All that was left was to return to the Temple and report, though Meira wondered if her report could be of any real help. Nothing had been learned, only more questions raised.
The good news was that Meira did find the missing lightsabers. They were found amongst the rubble and debris under a fallen droid. Meira's had some scratches across the surface of the hilt, but functionality had not been lost. Arichi's were still in great condition, new as they were. When she found her padawan once again, Meira presented him with the twin blades, commending his stealth at hiding one. That act had most definitely saved their lives.
Once the extra troops arrived, it was time for the Jedi to leave. Meira led Arichi back to their ship after saying farewell to the Jedi who had come to their rescue. All would no doubt see each other again on Coruscant, and very shortly for sure. As the hatch sealed and Meira began the lift off sequence, she looked out over the green planet, still feeling that something was missing. She would perhaps speak about it to the Council, maybe even ask for guidance from Master Took. This conflict was now behind her, disappearing in streaks of light as the ship made the jump to hyperspace, but there was more to come. She was almost sure of it.
