Adrian froze for a minute when he saw Master Eitan look at him. The young knight had no idea what was going through the other Jedi's mind. Satisfied to sit and watch Master Eitan continue with his conversation with the other man, apparently named Vakkor. The night looked about at the cold metal surroundings of the Republic Base. Adrian opened his mouth to speak, but he had already assumed that Master Eitan's signals called for his silence so the young knight stopped himself short. Rather than speak he thought to himself briefly.
I wonder what brings them to a place like this...

"Doesn't matter either way. I saved a hard copy of all the data I collected. Didn't get too much footage, mostly bad shots of a giant fish attempting to eat me, but there's something else I think you should see out there. Something Dark." Regnier slumped against the wall and slid down onto a metal bench by the med station. It wasn't much of a station, unfortunately, and it only had a few bacta patches and basic items. Still, he wasn't complaining. At least it was something. He grabbed a few items and started working on himself. "Not to rush you or anything, but I'm feeling increasingly bad over here. Those suits don't work very well as body armor."
He muttered a curse when he realized he was out of bacta patches. He grabbed several small bandages and sealed the cut on his hairline. Lastly, he pulled a small sedative out from the station. "Listen, if you've got any questions...ask 'em now, because I'm about to pass out."

Kieran grimaced.
"Go into a healing trance. We'll get to you as soon as we can."
He grumbled as he tossed the Jedi Knight the comlink. Moving to the console he had indictated earlier, he shook his head.
"I wanted you to check and see if we had a feed...which we don't seem to have." The Jedi Master stared at computer terminal. Typing a few moments, he cursed as the Republic Firewall rejected his password. An urge shot through him. He suddenly felt like killing something. Typing in another phrase, he grumbled as the computer shut down.
"Come on, we need to get rid of this thing and figure out what happened to the crew of this place. I'm only getting scattered readings on the scanners."

He wasn't sure of what would come next. He had no idea how to work technology of this level, and the frustration on Master Eitan's face was apparent. Still Adrian stood up and look at the Master.
I'm not too sure of what course of action to take, but I'll do my best.
Adrian was being respectful, but just from the small contact he had with the Jedi Battlemaster he began thinking. He might just have been too respectful for the Master's tastes.

He's just a kid. Keep that in mind A voice seemed to say in the back of Kieran's head. He shook his head as he walked towards a door.
"Well you can either stand around and wait for the fishies to eat you, or you can come along with me and we can see if we can accomplish something other than setting off a dozen red flags at the republic embassy."
Kieran typed into a keypad, next to a blastdoor that led out of the room. The door opened and air flowed into the corridor beyond. The Jedi Master palmed a lightsaber in one hand, walking down the corridor cautiously. He opened himself to the force, increasing his readiness. He moved down the corridor, not slowing for the Jedi Knight who was quickly being left behind.

It was funny, at least to Adrian it was. When the Master Jedi made the comment he paused. The answer was so obvious yet Adrian still made a pause as if to weigh his options. An image of him being surrounded by Firaxan shark and evetually mauled by the hostile creatures even passed through his mind. Still after the pause he picked up his pace to a jog up until he reached Master Eitan at which point he slowed to a mere two steps behind the Battlemaster.
I would prefer the latter of the two choices...
Adrian still felt a little lost in the whole situation, but he followed nevertheless. It was better to follow a fellow Jedi who might know what he is doing blindly than walk around blindly by yourself. At least that was Adrian's logic in this at least.

Regnier stared at the sedative for a good second before the strength in his arm gave out and he slumped slightly back. And there it was. He could feel it, running through his blood, burning his veins. Poison. But...how? From the water, perhaps? Water the Selkath had bled into? Makes no difference...
This wasn't your average, run of the mill, premium wamp-rat strength poison, either. He could already feel the damage it was leaving behind. He keyed his comm' again as he blinked away the black that was starting to creep into his vision, though this time to record, rather than transmit. "If you hear this...whoever you are...then I am no longer alive...tell the Jedi Council they were wrong about me. I was never destined to be a Master, and they knew it as well as I. They just couldn't bring themselves to admit it. I...I can feel the poison burning me alive from the inside...the life fading from me...it won't be long now. Whatever it is, it's quite potent. If you find me...leave me to the sea."
He set the recorded file with the data he had collected from outside, and with what little strength he had left, he leaned forward...and pitched onto the floor in a heap as that strength vanished. He slowly rolled onto his back and closed his eyes as everything faded. "Kellick...I'm sorry." His eyes rolled back behind the lids as he forced the last essence of his will, his very being, into a Jedi trance. It would not keep him alive, of that he was sure, but it would give him...time. Not much, certainly, but perhaps enough.
Time was finally running out for the Knight, it seemed.

It took several minutes for the Jedi to find the airlock that Regnier had exited through. Consulting the datapad, Kieran looked at the map for a few moments before gesturing towards a diving suit that was hanging from the nearby wall.
He looked up at the Jedi Knight for a moment.
"Get yours on. Is your lightsaber waterproof or was I the only Jedi who thought of that? In the suits it'll be nearly impossible to use them, but it's better than letting a shark take a bite out of you."

Adrian heard "get yours on" and he went to the lockers. After rummaging through one of them he found a rather low quality sonic blaster.
Unfortunately I was one of the Jedi that didn't think of an underwater lightsaber, but seeing as these workers must have dealt with Firaxen it 's only normal that the ones going outside the most would carry a sonic weapon.
He was too bulky, rather his clothes were, for the environmental suit. Adrian had to discard his large robe before he could slip into the suit. Now with the bright yellow uniform on his body he gripped the gun somewhat loosely, but all that mattered was the fact that he could pull the trigger because the surrounding water would undoubtedly take the recoil from the weapon.
I am ready to follow Master Eitan...

"Alright. Uh...Don't try this at home...or ever really."
Kieran turned on his lightsaber, holding it in his bionic hand, he skimmed it along the back of his 'real' arm. The smell of burning flesh filled the room and Kieran grimaced and blinked away the pain. The blade sputtered, as if coughing. It shut down with a loud buzz and Kieran reached up with hand, channeling the energy. The air around him shimmered, as he pushed at the airlock controls. Water instantly flooded into the room, smashing into the Master and Knight.
Kieran shook his head, as if to clear it. The water had packed quite a punch, he had almost lost his hold. The continuing pressure all around his body kept him in close reminder of what a mistake could and would mean. He fingered his main lightsaber, resisting the urge to turn it on under water. It would survive for a time but it was hardly designed for the rigors of the feedback loop. He half expected it to explode when he DID turn it on.
"Follow." Kieran implanted the thought in the young Jedi's mind, before heading down a catwalk.

Did Adrian actually have a choice in the matter? The young Jedi had just arrived in the facility and was already being taken left and right. He didn't really know too much of current events on the planet or of his situation. His bulky suit barely allowed him to hold the sonic blaster. Sure the device would work undoubtedly well underwater against the Firaxen, but his problem wasn't the effectiveness of the weapon, now that he thought about it, it was the fact that inside the environmental suit he couldn't really use anything efficiently. He had fitted the gun on the hands of the suit expertly so that upon putting his hands inside Adrian was already set to fire. Though Adrian assumed that once he managed to pull the trigger, an action that would already be fairly tough, he wouldn't be able to let go and end up firing until the ammo let out or he managed to release his finger which would take a couple seconds undoubtedly. Just as the water hit him unexpectedly he headed towards the back of the older Jedi even before any command could have been given to him.

Darkness. Complete and utter, in every sense of the word. He couldn't even see his own hand when he brushed it across his face. It was eerily quiet, too; quiet enough that his footsteps sounded like hammers falling on compacted dirt.
"You're early. We have to stop meeting like this, you and I."
And suddenly, it was light, and Regnier was standing in the Room of a Thousand Fountains, alone save one; the ghostly-white Twi'lek standing across from him.
"I don't think I'll be going back this time."
"I know. Your infernal bad luck finally caught up with you, it seems."
Regnier turned his head slightly before sitting down on a bench.
"Am I dead yet?"
"Nearly, but no. It won't be long, though. I must say, this isn't what I expected. I envisioned you dying in a blaze of glory, charging a horde of foes, not quietly in a damp corner, alone."
"Not alone."
"Perhaps not, but you will find death alone. You're not done yet, booki, there is still something you must do."
The Knight glanced up in surprise. "What? I don't-"
"I know. You still have to save a few lives before I can let you follow me. Get up, Jedi Knight."
Regnier's face twisted in confusion. There was no way he could get up, he wasn't even conscious, let alone in any shape to move! "Now wait one-"
"Get up!" With a blindingly fast move, the Twi'lek shot forward and punched him square in the nose.
Darkness.
The gentle dripdripdrip of water pooling. The stench of stale air. The taste of copper. And pain. With a shudder, the Knight curled slightly and groaned as his eyes pried themselves open to the view of a blurry durasteel wall. For nearly a minute, he lay in the same position, his breathing ragged and faint at best, until something hit him. ...still have to save a few lives.... Memory hit him like a freighter. One of the Selkath that had attacked him had been carrying a demolitions case.
An empty demolitions case. Adrenaline burned through his veins like fire, backed by every ounce of will he had left, and a need, a need to not let his end be the end of someone else. He spat the blood that had pooled in his mouth and rolled onto his chest, before pushing himself up with everything he had left, and more. But it wasn't enough. No! I must! GET UP!
And so he let something else in, something he hadn't let in for a long time, something he'd fought tooth and nail against for many years.
It was hatred. All the self-loathing he felt, all the rage against the many that had wronged him, everything. With a snarl and a roar, he stood up, veins standing tall as blood ran down his body. He stumbled to the door and stopped, his face contorted into black rage, and listened. Not with his ears, but through the Force, until he felt the presence of Eitan and the other. They were still far enough away. Good. I still have time. He continued to listen until he felt the faintest oscillations of energy emanating from the next room over, to where he stumbled as quickly as possible. And there it was, sitting directly in front of the outer window, and tied to several others, which were linked to the airlocks. Last ditch effort to stop the intruders. And a pretty efficient one, to. There were enough explosives to tear off more than half the building, which would flood the other half. He smiled grimly as he collapsed against the main device and shakily set a bloodied hand on the control console.
"Guess...I get to...go out with... a bang...after all..." He wheezed a chuckle, coughed blood, and with an overwhelming feeling of satisfaction that neither Eitan nor the other Jedi were close enough to be affected much, pressed three keys and rested his head against the bomb, before unconsciously sliding off onto the floor in a bloody heap.
The explosion, quite literally, vaporised nearly half the small building, flooded the other half, and sent vibrations in the sea floor all the way back to the main facility.

[[I'm gonna save some time and free up this character and Axel's due to time restraints and me wanting to move on. so I'm making a moderator decision.]]
IC:
Regnier Vakkor perishes in an underwater explosion which nearly kills both remaining Jedi. It is discovered that the cause of the lack of Kolto was the disturbance caused by the Republic base underwater, which was mostly destroyed in the aftermath of the explosion [part of the complex colapsed off the edge of the trench it rested upon.
The two jedi return to Coruscant to report to the Jedi Council their findings.
Moving to Coruscant.
