Subterrell, having been formed by asteroid collisions, had no core. Instead, there was a large empty space where a core should be. Only one other planet in the galaxy, Naboo, lacks a core, making this world very interesting to geologists. Or, rather, it would be very interesting if there was anything within the massive empty space, which there wasn't.
However, on the outer expanses of the Core, before one actually went into the inner core (It was still a few miles down before one made it to the inner core) there was a system of systems desinged to heat and power the rest of the planet in place of a molten core. This place was completely off-limits. And it was off-limits because of people just like Erem Dukar.
Dukar and Darkeye platoon found the security perameters fairly simple to circumvent, as all personell were attempting to repair quadrants 1 and 2. Perhaps if they had anticipated sabotage, they would have guarded this most vital area.
It was at this time that Dukar gave his orders to the rest of the platoon. Dukar's orders, given from the higher-ups, was to cripple this planet, and then make it easy for the Sith to uncripple it. The orders of Darkeye Platoon were to shut down these heating devices, which made the planet inhabitable, and then to turn them back on when the Sith showed up.
At the Military sector, Dukar had instructed Tero to use the consoles to find the munitions caches on the planet and then to keep the Jedi busy while the rest of the Platoon found them. It worked, apparently, as Darkeye platoon had over two hundred different incidniery devices, most of which were being wired to the heating devices.
A group of men tested a few of the unmarked ones (not knowing how powerful they might be) on a far wall of the chamber, causing explosion after explosion.
Dukar; however, stood at the entrance to the devices, and awaited the Jedi, should they come.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
The tapping sound that Vehem had been following had grown louder as he went down the chamber. It was now like drumming, almost primal in its sounding. Within the tunnel, there was a dead end, from behind which the drumming came from. Suddenly, and explosion came forth. Then another. And another. Each one rocked the tunnel in which he walked, until a shift came. The dead end collapsed, and the entire tunnel lurched to one side, revealing a continuation of the tunnel, down a much narrower and darker tunnel.
The drums called louder and louder.

Vehem walked down the tunnel in an almost catatonic state. As the tapping grew louder he felt more compelled to find its source. He came to a dead end, when an explosion shook him to his knees. A new passage had opend before him. He followed it and the drums of the deep...

Zul was lost, alone, and in the dark of a strange hall. He wondered where everyone is. Zul reached out with the force to find the other Jedi on the planet. His reach was extremely weak and he could not find anyone except one other Jedi he did not know. After a few seconds he sensed the dark eye platoon in the Outer Core. Zul thought about his options he could go back and try to find the others, or he could try to find out what the dark eye's are trying to do. Zul let out a deep sign and started to run down to the Outer Core.

No trace of them...
The young knight's footsteps droned out all other sounds as they rhythmically hit the ground one after another. Adrian continued running, he had to, there was no stop in sight. He continued to run noticing the scenery slowly changing into something besides the tunnels.
Suddenly he felt something, reaching out to him. Automatically Adrian took the unidentified enemy off the list seeing as how well they could mask their emotions. After a moment or so he realized that it was his own Padawan that was stretching out with his perceptions.
Sure enough Adrian came upon young Zul Ckar, without too much hesitation he came to a stop.
Come my Padawan, I can not keep you from harm's way in this matter. We must stop the enemy from destabilizing this planet. There isn't much time to spare...
With that Adrian continued again expecting his young Padawan to follow behind him.

Zul was surprised by Adrian, because he didnt sense him around here. Yes master lead on Zul followed Adrian wondering if they were going to win this battle.

He no longer ran, there was no need to. Slowly Adrian proceeded along the walkways as focused on what was ahead of him. All the while his perceptions reached out seeing the emptiness of the Outer Core for what it was. The young Knight no doubt knew something sinister was going to happen, and it would be the Sith's doing. Still he continued to walk, his strides just far enough so as to never be caught out of a stance. One of this two lightsabers were being held in his left hand. While being right handed Adrian could wield a saber in both hands with expertise. Adrian continued to walk, his hands gripped on his lightsaber as sweat slowly began to trickle down his forehead. It was no doubt hot seeing as how he still wore his thick cloak, but still Adrian pressed on with his Padawan who was hopefully following him through this.

(There is no molten core of Subterrel. Just a big empty space in the center of the planet. But we're not there. And, since I'm just sitting there waiting on you, I won't post as Dukar yet. And Vehem, I'll post for you once Axelpro gets to the Outer Core.)

(Since there is no molten core for geothermal heat, this place acts as the core. Basically, it's the engineering levels of the facility. Tons and tons of heating systems, boiler rooms, big industral areas. They've shut off most of them, but the big Master system is still up running most things, and it's pretty dangerous in there. Good place for a fight, I'd think.)

Adrian's feet slowly took him past the narrow walkway that separated the mining facility with its precious core. It became painfully obvious how unstable and easily tampered with this planet was. Simply cracking a code could practically destory the planet, and it was something Adrian would do everything in his power to prevent.
The thoughts screamed through his mind, but the young Jedi Knight continued to walk, his eyes observing the surroundings that consisted of towering machines and containers for heating components. The dials all had their red pointer in the safe zone as the chemicals and toxins bubbled inside the giant containers.
Not really focusing on any of this he walked past as steam shot out in front of him from one of these containers. Effectively avoiding the possibly dangerous steam Adrian continued down; his lightsaber was still in his hand.
It was generally silent as the eerie sound of steam being released and the churning of gears served as background noise to the scene. It was getting how for Adrian in his cloak, but he still fought the urge to discard the robe. More important things were at hand for him to dwell on trivial things like that.

At this point, an explosion rocked the area, and set off a steam vent early. Darkeye platoon was only a few dozen yards away now.
Dukar, however, was much closer. In fact, the only thing keeping him and the Jedi from meeting at this point was the very column of steam which had just sprung up, obscuring vision.
Dukar faced into the steam column thoughtfully. They were running behind schedule. The sith would be here soon. And if they didn't cool the planet, they would lose their prize.
(Ok... so axel, since this is your confrontation, I'll leave it to you.)

Adrian could only look, he could only observe the cold features of the man before him. The young knight only used one sense as he looked at this man who was accompanied by another handful of people. It was this single person who Adrian had labeled the leader or at least the main figure. His mind was focused on the one in front of him as his lightsaber slowly ignited. Adrian no doubt wanted to finish this person, but like Vex had said before.
Please stop what you are doing; the actions that you are about to take...whatever they are will no doubt endanger the innocents above. I can not risk putting those in danger...
Another steam column shot up shielding Adrian from seeing this man, and likewise it shielded the man from seeing Adrian or Zul. While it was happening Adrian hoped Zul was preparing himself because Adrian felt something about this would be inevitable. The cold look that the young knight could see told him that this man wouldn't surrender easily. As the steam column dissipated Adrian stood now with one blue saber and one green saber.

Zul sensed the Darkeye Platoon right behind the steam. Zul knew that there was no way to escape without being in a fight now so he unclipped his lightsaber and ignited it. Zul looked at his lightsaber for a second to admire it for it will save his life right now, then he focused his attention to the Darkeye platoon and got into position and waited for Adrian's move before he did any attacks.

The steam column fell. Dukar faced the two Jedi. This close up, there was something unnatural about the man. It lay in his eyes. They were as if shadows of natural eyes. Indeed, the word "shadow" was best to describe this man. Everything about him seemed dark and unnatural.
Everything but is voice. His voice was bold, clear, with a sound and pitch so pure that when Erem Dukar spoke, his words carried with them such truth, that they could not be ignored.
"You speak of dangers, and yet you can not see what true danger is."
A few more columns of steam fell as an exposion signaled the disabling of the secondary heating system, from which the steam vented. Dukar took a step onto the grate and towards the Jedi.
"True danger is in the unknowing. True danger is in blind obedience. True danger... is you, master Jedi."
From far off, a primal roar echoed throughout the chamber. It sounded as if it was getting closer.
"It is my duty to protect the innocent from true danger... from you."
Dukar said, before removing a short vibroblade from his waist and thrusting towards Adrian.

The Tunnel seemed to go on forever. There were odd noises, somethings that sounded like muffled explosions deep within the core. The Drums were still getting louder. He couldn't turn back now even if he tried, finding the source was now an obsession. The dark green glow of his saber was all that illuminated the dark passage in his descent.

While the darkeye leader and Adrian where fighting Zul watched for a couple seconds then remembered about why they came down here in the first place. Zul sneaked around and discovered some unguarded explosives. Zul started to tamper and disarm them so the darkeye platoon couldn't use them.

It wasn't to hard of an attack to deal with. Adrian stepped back at a slight angle while raising his blue saber vertically. A turn and quick swipe would serve to parry the attack. Following through with the turn Adrian came around full circle, a seemingly unnecessary maneuvar, but the young knight couldn't fight without his motions flowing from one to the next. As he spun he switched his stance just slightly so he was now on the offensive. The green saber swung in at a horizontal angle with heat.
It was something that was a part of Adrian's personality, he could never manage to spare someone in the heat of the battle. It was always straight for the kill. If Adrian ever won a duel while his opponent was still alive, that person could count themselves as lucky.

The Jedi weapon was met by the vibroblade easily. Uneccessary movements were openly spotted and fervently exploited by this professional. The clash sent an uncomfortable shudder through the weapons.
Erem took tight hold on his weapon and stepped forward, pushing himself towards the Knight by way of their weapons. He turned himself so that both is and the Jedi's backs were to the wall of the small passage they shared. He lifted his other hand, revealing the self same blaster he had used to lock down the quadrant earlier that day. Up close, it was impossible to tell what it was. Heavily modified, perhaps even custom built. But no doubt deadly.
The motion was quick, quick enough to avoid the Jedi's second weapon. At only a few feet, point-blank, Dukar fired a bolt directly at Adrian's upper torso.
