It was amusing to hear something so wise coming from Theron…the togruta wasn’t entirely certain why it was, but it certainly was, earning him a snicker as she caught his returned smile. The second half of his reply to her, however, was…unexpected. Certainly she knew what he’d meant to say, but what he’d ACTUALLY said….well, that was a completely different story. Again, she was thankful she was red toned already as she felt herself blush. Unfortunately for her, it was deep enough that the white markings along the sides of her face flushed a light pink.
Though she kept her mind shielded, her thoughts also had wandered along the lines of his. Had he truly enjoyed their race and that kiss so much that he’d accidentally hinted to it? For a moment she was tempted to kiss him again to find out, but that jedi resolve won out and she kept herself in place. It wasn’t right to do…to allow her temptation to break the boundaries his lifestyle set out for him. She cared about him too much to do that to him. Already toeing the line, the last thing Theron needed was an excuse to step over…as she had. That was one reason she’d been glad that he hadn’t been there when Vex had fought her…when he’d won…it would have been a harsh push in the wrong direction for him. If it had brought her to the decision of leaving the Order…what would it have done to him? It was then that she realized…perhaps she hadn’t simply protected Makiro that night. His apology caught her off guard and she flicked a lekku at him incredulously as she turned to face him fully, one hand still placed against the railing
Don’t apologize, Theron. You were simply doing your job…I would have been disappointed in you had you put it off because of my own agendas. I’ll manage without…there will be other opportunities for me to get the parts I need, I’m sure.
That typical jedi confidence had come up at her words, adamant that he understand her view of the situation.
My life is no more difficult than it was previously...there’s just a temporary setback in one set of plans.

"No, but I have a tendency for bad timing. I was there when I should not have been. I was not there when I should have been." Whether or not she thought that she had saved him that day of her near-death, he felt otherwise. If he had been there, he felt that things could have been different. Fighting together, the Dark Jedi wouldn't have been able to gain the upper hand. Together, he would have been defeated. She would never have reached that point of questioning her path. He shook his head. "I should have been there, Sihara. I had felt that it wasn't right to split up. I....didn't want you getting in my way. I didn't think you were willing to do what needed to be done to stop Vex. I also didn't believe that they would possibly take the risk of visiting her parents if they were on Corellia. My shortcoming....your consequences. I was wrong and my mistakes were paid by you, brought you to this point."
It had bothered him. It still bothered him. He hadn't thought it would, given his preference for solitary existence and keeping people at arm's length or better. For better or worse, he had been made her partner...was to look out for her and her padawan. He had failed them. He took that personally.
Shaking his head, he looked away from her, turning back to stare out at the city. The beauty of that scene was lost on him now, in this moment. He was too caught up in his own thoughts and recriminations. His hands closed aroud that railing, gripping tight enough that his knuckles turned a pale, sky blue.

You’re blaming yourself for something that you shouldn’t be…TWO things you shouldn’t be. Things happened the way they were meant to happen and so you cannot…well, you SHOULD not…blame yourself. My decision…my ‘consequences’…were long in the coming and this end result was my making. If I did not wish to leave, I wouldn’t have. I was not forced to leave, Theron, no one made me…it was a choice of my own.
The fact that you appeared today wasn’t chance or bad timing either. It was meant to happen, for one reason or another, and so I trust that everything else will work out in due time.
She turned to gaze at him, his tense posture, the paling of his knuckles as he gripped that rail, the anger and frustration that radiated from him. With a sigh, she put a hand lightly on his shoulder. Stepping closer to him, she leaned in beside Theron and twisted her head to look up at him.
Theron…I’m fine…well and fit and healthy enough. Please don’t blame yourself.
Her hand moved from the railing and rested over one of his as she looked up at him quietly, pushing calming emotions toward him, extending her presence out to him cautiously, wanting to help sooth him, but not quite certain how.

"No...Sihara...it is my fault. I knew it. I knew I should not have split up with you that day. I felt it in the Force. I felt it and I ignored it. I was selfish." The disquiet, the anger, the disappointment in himself...it radiated from him. His impulsiveness...his tempter...his pride...so many personal defects, yet here he was. All that time and training, yet here he was...as flawed as ever.
"No, fit and healthy are not fine. I'm not a fool or self-deluding. I know what my problems are, Sihara. I do not act as I should...as befits a Jedi Knight. I...don't think I have for the longest time. Out of the two of us...you were the one that most epitomized the teachings of the Order. Still do in an infuriating way..." the corner of his mouth curls up a bit in a darkly mirthful grin. "But at least you had the strength of character to leave when you felt it was no longer the right path..."
He turned, though he didn't try to pull his shoulder from her touch. He turned back to face her...the motion drawing himself closer as he pivoted. Leaving the hand there that she held on the railing, the other moved, fingers pressing into the curve of her hip as those crimson eyes locked with hers, dark and troubled like bloody, roiling seas.

Those front lekku flicked at their ends once more as he continued his berating himself, a long sigh escaping her. Sihara remained silent, allowing him to speak his mind…to get this burden off of his chest. It seemed he needed it, for one reason or another, and if he was opening up to her, she wasn’t going to stop him and possibly have him clam up just because she wanted to say something. As he turned to face her, his hand finding her hip as he came closer, she gazed back at him through calm and understanding eyes. For a moment she was held almost spellbound, unwilling to move or say anything as they looked at each other. He was so close…only a few, perilous, inches away…and Sihara worried that if she moved…it would cause his wavering soul to fall over the edge, and she didn’t know if he wanted to or not.
Therrron…
That trill had found its way back into her voice, but it was different this time. Before it had been tense, more normal in pitch, high-strung and full of energy…this time it was low as she practically purred his name at him, her voice taking on a deeper, richer, and softer tone.
I could say that I forgive you…but you don’t need my forgiveness. You have it, if you want it, but you don’t need it. You need your own forgiveness. If you want to act as a jedi should…you need to accept your faults, your flaws, and then work to right them little by little. Jedi aren’t perfect beings, you know this, I know this. Don’t hold yourself to the misconceived standards the rest of the galaxy does. However, if you feel it’s time for you to leave, then you should leave before you fall.
Something I realized before I left…if you try to adhere to a path that you don’t think you can follow, then you’re simply setting yourself up to fail. You will become more angry, more frustrated…and if that path is the path of a jedi…you will become more dangerous. Then you will fall. I think that…for a force user, any force user, to keep themselves from falling into darkness…they need to live their life as happily as they can. I knew I wouldn’t be happy with the jedi because I would feel like I wasn’t free to question what was right and wrong…and so I left.
If you feel you aren’t happy as a jedi, if you feel it is too restrictive for you…then keep yourself with the light and leave them before you begin to truly regret your actions. If you are happy as a jedi, then stay with them and be more forgiving of yourself. You’re only mortal, Theron, and therefore…fallible.
She didn’t mean to tell him to leave, that wasn’t her intention, she simply wanted him to be happy, to be comfortable and not be so hard on himself. She wanted him to understand that she’d left because of her choices…so that she could be happy, and that it hadn’t been his fault in any way. Slowly she removed her hand from his and looped both arms about his neck, closing the distance between them and holding him lightly so that if he wished to move away he could. Red toned cheek brushed slightly against his as she spoke gently against his ear.
I want you to be happy, Therrron, and I want you to do what is rright forr you.

The low roll in her voice had the hair on the back of his neck stand up. The sound was similar, yet different to what he'd heard from her before and it affected him on a completely different level. He watched as she stood there, practically feeling the tense energy that was within her as she stood there so still. It wasn't like before...it was different, as though she was afraid of spooking him, like some wild animal.
He listened to her words, shaking his head. He wasn't ready for forgiveness. He didn't feel like he deserved it. Moreso...he didn't know what he wanted. That conflict was half the problem. It was compounded by the fact that he knew nothing else. In that respect, she was brave...branching out for success the moment she left the Temple. He didn't know anything beyond it. Certainly, he'd left, he'd worked, he'd even acted undercover in order to complete a few of his missions for the Order....but the Order was still all he knew.
He was fully capable of being on his own, on making decisions and acting out on them, but always knowing that, in the end, it was part of the Order's will. There was a certain safety net in that knowledge, something he hadn't even realized until now. He tensed as her arms wrapped aroun his shoulders and he felt her cheek brush against his. Once she began to speak there against his ear, he tensed some more before heat flowed from his shoulders and down into the rest of him.
His arms came up, slipping his touch around her waist, pulling that lithe, leather-clad form closer, pulling it against his own. His chin lowered, causing his own breath to brush against her throat and one of her lekku. Tilting his head he spoke once more, his mouth just about brushing against that crimson and white marked jawline.
"I don't know what is right....I don't know what is happy...I don't know what I want. What I think I do...I shouldn't..." He sighed, head dipping a bit more, his mouth brushing against her jaw this time, trailing over to tease against that lekku. The taste and feel of that smooth skin was damning.

Sihara felt him tense as she put her arms around his neck and she nearly pulled away as she felt him tense more at her words. Those hands of his brushed along her waist before pulling her to him, his head drooping slightly so that his breath washed warm and light against her throat and lekku. She listened quietly as he spoke, barely moving, barely daring to breathe as he held her like that. Those last words, however, echoed in her mind and through her own heart. If he knew it or not, he’d spoken for both of them. His light, teasing, kisses against her jaw and lekku had her closing her eyes and sighing heavily, wistfully.
You aren’t alone in that uncertainty, Theron…yet more reasons why I left.
Against her better judgment, warring within herself still, she shivered slightly and dipped her head to brush a tentative kiss against the corner of his jaw. One hand reached up to comb lightly through the ends of that mane of hair as she inwardly cursed herself for her own emotions, her own desires.
I’m…sorry, Theron…I…perhaps I’m simply a bad influence, but…
…But she just couldn’t seem to control herself around him, to act in a way that would help him along his path, to help keep him with the Order they both cared about…to allow him to act as a jedi should. She was a temptation for him, she could feel it, but she just couldn’t keep herself from reacting to him as a woman, and not just as a former jedi or his former partner.
I…I should go.
She pulled back, away from him, forcing herself to leave so she wouldn’t tempt either of them further.
It was good seeing you again, Therron…good bye.
With that she turned and started walking away, sharp incisors biting down on the inside of her lower lip as she wrestled herself to keep walking.

He felt...calmer...more clear headed...as she held him...as he felt her fingers comb through his hair. The brush of her lips burned against his skin in a pleasing manner. He'd felt her reaction...felt the reaction she caused in him. It..felt right. He swallowed heavily, looking up in surprise at her words as she pulled herself away. Her confusion and conflict radiated from her and engulfed him even as she pulled away and he knew that she was, at least, feeling just as he had.
Yet she pulled away, she tried to cut it off, break away, end this and run away. He stood there for a moment, watching her form move off...the darkness of the leather easily beginning to fade into the shadows...even her skin melting in with it save for those pale markings. She radiated brightly out in the Force, however...and right now she was like a beacon.
He moved.
She had just about reached the edge of the wall where she would have to round the bend. He came up from behind her, turning her swiftly. He wasn't thinking...he was simply reacting to feeling and desire. His motion was swift, but he was careful enough not to harm that wound she had as he pushed her back. One hand cradled the back of her head, slipping behind her nape and under her lekku. The other found her hip again, pulling her into him even as he pinned her to the wall. His mouth found hers, parting hers, opening it he explored, worrying on her lower lip before kissing her harshly as though in punishment for being willing to retreat so quickly in the face of the unknown.

For one of the few times in her life, Sihara was afraid. Certainly she wanted to help him, to guide him down the path that was right for him, but…she was also afraid. She couldn’t control her emotions around him as she should…he…caused her to react in ways she found…troubling. Sihara wasn’t used to feeling physical attraction to another, and even with Xander (that dratted zeltron), she’d tried to shied away or gotten angry if she felt even the slightest stirrings of desire, uncertain how to react because of it and because of her jedi lifestyle.
Theron…was worse.
She felt these emotions more strongly around him, found herself reacting more readily to his touch. The biggest problem was the fact that she didn’t WANT to get shy away, she COULDN’T get angry…and she just didn’t know WHY. Quite honestly, it had her spooked, and so she’d tried to do them both a favor and leave…to stop the temptation and uncontrollable, nearly uncomfortable, feelings.
It didn’t work.
He’d followed after her and she’d known it…in fact, she’d been about to round that corner and leap over the railing to the soon-to-be-passing speeder that could carry her further away more swiftly when he’d caught her and turned her around again. Hissing at him, those fangs glinted dangerously in the city lights as he’d carefully pushed her backward toward the wall. It was obvious to her that he was being gentle with her, being careful not to hurt her old injury or the new one as he moved her about. One hand slipped between her back lekku and her head, the other gripped her hip and pulled her to him once more as he trapped her there. In an instant he was kissing her, his teeth worrying her lower lip and then stopping to kiss her more completely.
The rush of emotions she felt, the heat that spread through her, had her mind fogged in such a way that she seemed unable to focus on anything but the chiss holding her. For the second time that day she found herself simply reacting, not thinking, as she wrapped slender arms around him and pulled him closer, fingers curling lightly into the back of his robes as she reached out for him with all of her being as she returned that kiss. Those silver and lavender lights seemed to bind together before her mind’s eye as her physical eyes slid closed.
--you are a dangerous man, Theron…--

Perhaps, in time, she would learn that baring her teeth and hissing at him wasn't going to have the effect that she might wish it to have. He...enjoyed...that dangerous, feral side to her. It was just one of the things that drew him to her. She was dangerous, not he. All her expression and sound did was make him kiss her that much harder.
It was akin to trying to tame the beast, after all.
As she wrapped her arms around him and returned that kiss, he felt her presence wrapping around his. He growled against her mouth, the sound low and deep as he gave into it as much as she did. Fingertips stroked along her lekku, gently and slowly, letting his senses in the Force help him pinpoint what she enjoyed the most.
Perhaps he was dangerous...but so was she...in a far more subtle manner.
Finally breaking the kiss, his jaw rested against hers once more, his breath hot against her ear before his mouth brushed against one of those sensitive appendages as he spoke lowly.
"Don't leave so soon, Sihara..."

That growl seemed to echo from him to her, the vibration the sound caused in his chest felt against her own and seeping into her senses. Those fingers of his slipping along the smooth and well tended skin of her lekku. Though not as prideful of them as most twi’lek, Sihara was rather fond of those slender appendages and took care to tend to them as any near human woman might their hair should they be proud of it. They were, after all, an integral part of her communication with twi’lek and togruta alike, and housed part of her brain just as the twi’leks did. So, as his fingers trailed along the smooth black and white skin, she shuddered slightly at the feather-light sensations.
Golden eyes opened once more as he broke that kiss, those twin orbs glinting slightly in the lights of the city. Catching her breath around him, it seemed, wasn’t about to happen any time soon as his jaw slipped against hers and she felt those warm lips brush against one of her front lekku causing another slight shiver to run along her spine and her eyes to close once more. The dull hum from her montral into her mind told her that the pedestrian traffic along the walkway had slowed to a stop in several places, though those places were still occupied by living beings. Grudgingly she disentangled a few of her senses from absorbing all she could of this perplexing man to find those beings…it seemed they were gaining some mild attention. His words brought her mind back to him once more and she sighed a bit.
Why?...Theron…I’ll only be a temptation for you. It would be better if I did leave…
She paused for half a heart-beat, debating if she should finish her thought…in the end, if felt right that she should.
…despite what my own desires might be.
Another, more resigned sigh, and she opened her eyes.
We should leave this place…we’re attracting far too much attention for my taste.

"You may be right, Sihara... but temptation though you might be... I find myself calmer and less troubled in your presence. Damned either way...I'll choose the lesser of two evils." He didn't have her extrasensory perceptions outside of the Force...and with his presence currently wrapped up in her own, it wasn't likely that he was going to get that drawn apart from hers any time soon.
Part of him was surprised to hear her own admission that she felt similarly. Clearly, her actions spoke truly, but that didn't mean that she necessarily followed her feelings. There was still a lot of Jedi left in her, coloring her actions in the way it should have his. When she spoke about an audience, however, he finally pulled his head back enough to glance those crimson eyes around. He nodded his head slowly, though he bared his teeth much as she had a few moments ago. Gripping her hand, he would draw her along with him, away from the spectators. Following the will of the Force, he spoke. "Your place is closer..."
Torment that she might be, he didn't want her leaving any time soon. He was truthful in stating that she helped calm him more. Even before the battle with Vex, spending time with her had gotten him a far more lucid view of the world, the galaxy and his tribulations than when he was a part from her. She was a desire and a dangerous one, but he felt that it was far less dangerous than not being around her. Moving with her, at length, they would eventually reach the walkway leading to the hotel building she was being put up in until her departure.

Sharp incisors nipped lightly along the inside of her lower lip as he spoke, a sharp intake of breath at the end of his statement punctuating the unintentionally painful bite she gave herself in her surprise and uncertainty. Sihara just wasn’t sure if she should be pleased with his answer, or concerned. As he glanced behind himself at the few people who had paused in their surprise at seeing a man dressed as a jedi kissing a woman, she sighed and lowered her eyes slightly. Feeling his hand take hold of hers, she automatically moved along with him as he spoke again, giving a slight nod to his observation.
It was true enough…the hotel room she’d been given for the evening was only a short distance away and it took them little more than ten minutes to reach the front walk for the building. Mr. Y’ril had been kind enough to set up her lodgings for the night…a bit more compensation for his refusal of her previous terms. Leading Theron into the building, she barely gave a glance around as she headed for the front desk. The mindsets of those other renters and what she could see from her trained gaze gave her enough information to know that the place was, perhaps, not the most high end hotel one could get, but it certainly wasn’t shabby or even for the regular working classes. This was for the comfortably well off individuals, the lower and middle ranked administrators, the middle range lawyers, businessmen on company trips…and now two force users it seemed.
Sihara Horula checking in. I believe the reservation was made by Mr. Y’ril?
“One moment please…and may I see your Ident-chip?”
The well dressed receptionist seemed pleasant enough…perhaps a bit bored at first, but that swiftly changed when she caught sight of Theron. Eying his robes, then his blue skin, and lastly his red eyes, she just didn’t know quite what to make of him. Professional as always, however, she had pushed the timid curiosity to the back of her mind and taken Sihara’s chip, scanning through the databank for her reservation. With a bright smile, she returned the chip and placed a card key on the counter as well.
“Yes, Miss. Horula, we received the payment earlier from Mr. Y’ril. Your room number is 1420. That’s the fourth floor. Please enjoy your stay.”
Thank you.
With a slight nod of her head, she took her chip and the key and headed to the lift. It didn’t take much to find the room in question and, as expected, the room was well kept…fresh and clean thanks to those employed there. With a flick of her wrist, she’d turned the lights to the room on from across the room as she moved in to allow Theron to enter.

He followed along behind her as she entered the hotel. Well...it certainly seemed that Mr. Y'ril was taking care of her...at least to the point of making sure she was copascetic and agreeable in her lay off. The place was nice...nicer than many Jedi were accustomed to, unless they were pulling a duty that required working with senators or other key members of the Republic.
He saw the look that the woman gave him. He tilted his head slightly, knowing the effect his look had on most. With the color of his skin...the crimson of his eyes...the dark band tattooed across his face...it could be an unsettling combination if one wasn't used to it. It probaly didn't help when one added the black Jedi robes. He quirked a brow, attempting something similar to a smile and only partially succeeding. It probably made him look more unsettling.
Nodding his head to the woman, he followed Sihara once more as she made her way to the lift and they found their way to the room. Once she'd entered, he would follow suit. "Very nice, Sihara. I doubt that many sentients have been released from their employment in such a comfortable fashion..."
He shrugged out of those outer robes, folding them up and setting them over the back of a chair. He entered further, moving to the window and looking out at the city around them. Turning back around and leaning against the sill, he'd hold out a hand, gesturing to her in order to get her to come to him. "When did you realize that you had desires, Sihara?"

She sighed a bit and shrugged at his statement.
No, I suppose they haven’t been…but I didn’t ask for this, nor did I expect it. Either way, it feels…wrong…to me. Perhaps it’s just the jedi in me?
She pulled that sheath off from over her head and settled the sword along the wall near the bed, his movements holding her attention, despite him being behind her. People likened her to someone who had ‘eyes in the back of their head’ and she supposed it was true to a degree…if one could consider simply feeling motion and being able to pinpoint around where it was. It didn’t mean she knew what he was doing, however. Sihara turned to look at him just as he paced toward the window and gazed out it for a few moments, then turned back to look at her. Holding out his hand, she moved toward him but halted suddenly at his question. Well, that was rather…forward. Shaking her head slightly, the sleek woman closed the rest of the distance and leaned against the wall beside him and gazing out the window from that angle.
I…well, assuming you’re asking when did I first realize I had desires about you…
She sighed slightly and turned those honey colored eyes back to him, mulling over her answer. When HAD she first realized?
Well…you aren’t bad looking Theron…so despite your attitude, I suppose I found you physically appealing when we first met. I’d only recently started to pinpoint my physical desires for what they actually were, and so I was far from comfortable with admitting any attraction to you. I suppose, however, that it was on Manaan that I truly began to notice…or admit…I had any feelings for you that were…more…than for a partner.
A light sigh escaped her and she shook her head, running a hand along one montral lightly.
Though…it was Corellia that sealed it…how you treated me there, when I was injured.

"My attitude? Now, what exactly is that supposed to mean? I have a perfectly fine attitude, as long as one doesn't do foolish things. I simply have no sufferance for idiocy. If I remember right...you desired a partner about as much as I did...but we were forced into it, at the time. Certainly, things changed and I accepted it...came to appreciate it...but I still held my reservations." He shrugged slightly, speaking plainly. He hadn't exactly made his original thoughts about the partnership a secret..or the fact that he hadn't liked having a padawan around. Given their mission, what they were after, he thought it put too much risk upon them all.
He shrugged. "I was used to total autonomy. I was, perhaps, a bit too set in my ways."
Shaking his head, he looked back over at her, watching as she idly stroked that appendage. "I...was too stubborn to realize what I was feeling. Part of the reason I separated from you on Corellia. I...didn't like that I liked you. I didn't know why I did. Went along with my pride. I didn't realize it until....I nearly lost you."
Pulling away from the wall, he moved to stand in front of her...a bit closer than arm's length, looking into those clover eyes. "The question is...what now?"

A light laugh was the response Theron received to his question about his attitude. She hadn’t meant to poke fun, but it had worked out that way wonderfully and she couldn’t help but grin at him, those sharp canines glinting slightly. She didn’t interrupt him, however, fully interested in what he had to say. Sihara did agree, however, when they’d been made to be partners, she hadn’t wanted one any more than he had…though she’d been considerably less confrontational about it. The tips of those black and white lekku flicked and curled at the memory as he continued on. At least they had both had come to appreciate and accept their forced partnership. It was likely less difficult for her…being togruta, she enjoyed company, partnerships. They just tended to make everything so much easier and after so much time alone she’d swiftly come to appreciate having others around.
“I was used to total autonomy. I was, perhaps, a bit too set in my ways.”
She could feel that deep red gaze upon her. Golden green orbs had turned back to the lights of the city beyond the window as he’d spoken, and for a few moments she stayed that way, even as he looked at her. His voice reached to her once more and she finally looked over at him and tried to keep her heart rate from rising too much. It seemed to do that around him…at least recently…and she reminded herself again that he was still Jedi. The thought seemed to work wonders for keeping her emotions under her control.
“I didn’t realize it until…I nearly lost you.”
Those words brought a flood of emotion into her as he reminded her of just how close to death she’d been. At the time she’d been quietly accepting of her fate, and that fact almost frightened her. Almost. There was also pain…the pain of knowing that she’d left the order. Finally, and not least, her skin heated in a mixture of embarrassment and subtle pleasure. Those words, combined with what she remembered of his actions (hazy as those memories were)….he did truly care for her. As he approached her, she gazed back at him quietly, thinking on his question.
We…have choices to make…that is what.
Sihara sighed slightly, eyes scanning over every detail of his face as she followed the trails of her thoughts.
We can end this now and go our separate ways…or we can see where this night takes us. If it is the latter…I have no consequences to face, but you…you might…even if we choose for this to only last one night.
I think, though, that the force has plans for us, Theron. Why else would we still run across each others paths?

He moved closer to her as he listened to her words. She was right. They did have choices to make. He wasn't so brash and foolhardy that he didn't understand that even a single night could have serious ramifications for him. Things likethis could lead to attachment...bonds that were considered against the tenets of the Order and a threat to maintaining the path on the Light Side. She held good counsel before, telling him they should have went their separate ways...but that just wasn't an option. For some reason he felt compelled to stay near her. Perhaps he didn't wish to take the chance that her life might come into danger as it had before. At this point, it was all too new for him to know just yet.
His hands came to rest on the window sill on either side of her. That all but enveloped her in his presence, his body close to hers as that crimson gaze stared into her clover ones. "I know well the consequences, Sihara, though, as of late I cannot be certain that they wouldn't simply happen one way or another, regardless of my intention."
He couldn't help but grin a bit though at her last words, leaning in closer so his mouth was close to her ear, his breath teasing along her lekku. He spoke with one of his rare moments of impish humor. "Why do we keep running across each other's path? Well, that's easy. You are infatuated by me and can't help but keep following on after me."

As he moved closer, settling his hands on either side of her and allowing the tumult of his aura, the mixture of emotion and the swirling tide of the force, turning to face him fully Sihara gazed intently at him. At one point, when she’d first met him, it had made her uncomfortable, but now it was welcome…something familiar, almost comforting even as it swirled around her. Those red eyes were so odd, but then…that was part of what made him so intriguing, she supposed. Well…there were a lot of things about him that intrigued her…that was part of the problem.
Maybe they would, and maybe they wouldn’t…that isn’t the thing in question, however.
She pulled her head back slightly, the movement almost appearing snakelike with her two front lekku trailing along the sides of her slender neck and curving along the center of her chest, nearly giving her the look of a cobra pulling back to strike. In a way she was. The predator in her…in her people…was showing as she recoiled from his warm breath on her lekku and the sudden (though not entirely unexpected) invasion of her close personal space by her chiss counterpart. The ends of those appendages curled and flicked a bit as the upper part of the one his breath had tickled twitched slightly. If his words hadn’t been so…so…well…she didn’t know what, but they made her want to laugh at him and hit him all at the same time.
I'm infatuated with you and keep following after you?! Theron, let’s be realistic about this…I'm the one that left the Order. If I had wanted to follow after you I would have stayed there. Easier to follow you when you’re my partner, after all.
She smirked slightly and chuckled, shaking her head slightly and straightening up more normally now that she’d had time to adjust to his close proximity. Resting her hands lightly against his chest, she pushed him back just a bit, her aura expanding slightly to press his back gently, just as she had done physically. The delicate lilac and silver coloring of her aura swirled, almost stormily, for a moment as she battled herself…her emotions…before that presence swept lightly against his, a touch of soft grasses and gentle wind, warmed by the sun…but a minor taste of the impact Shili truly had upon the woman’s life and personality. Pushing him back further, Sihara patted his chest lightly with one hand before smiling quietly and pacing away from him. Turning swiftly back to him once more, her lekku swung about her, coiling at the ends.
Theron, I…this…shouldn’t happen. Whatever this is between us…I just…it feels different…like…
She paused a moment, trying to describe it. It wasn’t just her emotions, her feelings, that she was sensing it was something else…something in the force but she couldn’t…she just couldn’t describe it, not easily.
…like…the only way I can semi-accurately describe this might sound a bit…odd. I can only describe it as how the life force of a seed feels that’s ready to germinate…it wants to grow, it wants to be more, you can feel it in the force that it does. This feels similarly…and…it isn’t just my emotions, it’s a pull, an urging or desire, in the force as well.
…I'm afraid that…that if we give it this chance…this one chance…it might be the one thing it needs to grow…to become more than what the Order will allow, even to the limits that you’ve pressed it before.
She sighed and shook her head, of course he must already know all of that...he must have known or felt something similar. She just didn't want to risk him going through the same kind of feeling of loss that she was currently feeling.
I just...don't want you to be punished for something like this...cast out...or even leave. It...it isn't something I want you to go through.

"You do know that you make no sense, Sihara Horula. You say that what you feel wants to grow...needs it, but that it isn't right. That is akin to saying that the growth of a plant, from the sprouting of the seed to the towering of the tree, is not right. What seems natural isn't right...that is what you are saying. It doesn't work." He pulled away from her. Exasperation rippled out from him, washing against the shores of her aura, but he didn't press for more. He pulled back and allowed her the room she wanted to pace away. As she whipped around to face him, his arms crossed over his chest as he arched a dark brow, crimson gaze looking at her dubiously.
"Do not try to justify it because of a concern for me or my well-being. It is not the truth. We both know it. I don't fear that loss, if it should come to it. It's drawn out for a long time...and I do not necessarily know that it is the wrong path to take. In many ways...it feels as though it is the way things should be. Do not make decisions for me, based on what you think I should or should not feel."
He shook his head, pulling his hood up over his head, shrouding those twilight features of his, leaving only the burning fire of his eyes. He looked every bit like the demon most thought he was. That he sometimes felt he might be. Shaking his head, he moved toward the door. "If you are scared...so be it. That is your choice and right to be. I will not press for anything. I respect your choice, so long as you respect me enough to be honest about it."
He moved toward the door to allow her the chance to be more comfortable...so that she wouldn't have to make a choice she didn't want to.
