Shard watched as the others scattered, going off into the various tunnels and caverns that comprised Subterrel. The livable parts, at least. "That one is disconcerting," he said, referring to Cho Wroth. "More bestial than sentient. Part of me waits for the day he betrays all of us and succumbs to whatever bloodlust rules his actions." It was only a small part, however... he knew the Noghri represented another facet of the Dark Side, a more primal side as opposed to the Miraluka's thinly cultured madness.
He looked at Visari, then to Looma and the disguised Julius. "We shouldn't stand around," he mused aloud. "It would look bad to the rest of them. Come, Miss Looma, we join the fray. I expect Wroth will need help before too long." He waved imperiously for the young Twi'lek to follow, and set off in the Noghri's wake at a relatively sedate pace. "The rest of you should disperse as well," he called over his shoulder. "The Jedi have landed, and we must meet them head on."
Once they were out of earshot of the rest, Shard spoke to Looma. "This will be your chance, Miss Looma," he said. "Remember what I have taught you of combat and the Force. Do not hold back, either; these are Jedi we face, and they infringe on our territory. Remember why you hate them, and do not lose sight of that." There was more to be said, but Shard could smell Jedi drawing near. And a Jedi that yet drew breath was a Jedi he needed to kill personally.
For all his talk of restraint and dual-sidedness, when it came down to it Shard was just as bloodthirsty as any other fighter.
((Man, that was lame. But, it was a post.))

Looma quietly listened as her master talked with the other two Sith, Visari and this newcomer, Deceptus, about plans of attack. She only partially listened, though, as she kept getting distracted by things around her. That Echani had followed them to the headquarters, and she also was watching the Ubese soldiers that had come down in the shuttle with Deceptus. Though anxious to get going and get to some action, the young Twi'lek knew her place, and wasn't about to interrupt while the adults were talking, unless something immediately concerned her. No, she was content to idly absorb information as well as absorb the setting around her, her tie to the Force heightened to watch for any danger.
Hearing her name, she turned her full attention to Shard, hoping that it meant they were finally going to do something besides stand around and talk. If she just wanted to philosophize all day, she would have stayed back on Bakura with the Jedi. In fact... she probably wouldn't have been kicked out and would be on her way to her Trials to become a Knight right about now. But instead she was here on Subterrel with the Sith, as a Sith herself, preparing to bring war to the Jedi. To fight on the other side for the first time in her young life. How strange life could be.
With everything having been decided apparently, her master headed back the way they had come from to meet up with the Noghri. Looma nodded at Shard and followed, picking her way down the path, trying not to show how anxious she was at the prospect of being in Cho's company again. Her previous encounters hadn't gone well and had left her, well... a little frightened of the creature. At least this time her master would be with her. And they would all be working for the same cause, on the same side of the battlefield. Or so she hoped. One could never tell with that Noghri; he was unstable, Looma thought.
They walked along in relative silence for a few moments as they left Visari, Deceptus and the Echani behind, the other Sith with them having disappeared off already upon their landing. The more angles they hit the Jedi from, the better. Despite her unwillingness to be with the Noghri, Looma knew it was best that she and her master divide and conquer and not spend all their time among Deceptus and Visari, obviously two of the strongest Sith in their group. The powerful ones needed to disperse, divide their attentions. She only hoped that she would soon get her own chance.
She had been following behind her master, but when he spoke up, she hurried ahead to walk by his side so she could hear his words more easily. A quick nod was all she needed in response to what Shard told her. Reflexively, her hand went back to her lightsaber hilt, a weapon she was still rather green with but had enough confidence to be sure she would wield it with precision. And she didn't need to be reminded of her hatred for the Jedi; that was always boiling inside of her, mostly unbidden. Today she would be able to let it free and loose it on those who were now her enemy.
He stopped short then, and a glance told her that Shard had felt something. Looma had the feeling that he wanted to give her more instructions, better prepare her for what was to come, but now there was something more immediate that needed his attention, their attention. They hadn't yet come upon the Noghi--she would have recognized his presence--so it must be Jedi. She let out her own awareness of the Force, careful not to let it extend too far as to alert the Jedi to where they were, feeling around for murmurs of the Force she didn't recognize. But she felt nothing.
Nonetheless, she unclipped her weapon from her belt, trusting her master's intuition and knowledge. A deep breath, and she felt she was ready to deal with whatever came their way. Looma would not let anything strike fear in her. She would be the utmost example of confidence and power. Anything less could be deadly.
* * * *
However, he did something unexpected. He had commed some of his Dominion soldiers to meet them. On its own, not that strange of an event to Looma, but paired with what Shard did next, then the Twi'lek began to wonder at her master's decisions. He had apparently felt the presence of Jedi somewhere else in the caves and then proceeded to instruct her to stay on the current mission: find and help Cho. Giving her a bag as a gift, as well as the half dozen soldiers, he had sent her on her way and taken off in the other direction.
Part of Looma wanted to be proud that he trusted her with this mission alone. But another part of her was scared that she might fail her master. Overall, though, she felt a lot of confidence, something that overlapped and destroyed her fear almost right away. She may be young, but if her master thought her ready for this task, then she must be ready. With her yellow head held high, she waved to the soldiers and kept on the path to find the Noghri Sith.
Whatever lay before her, she knew it would be memorable.
