Cho Wroth will follow Shard to the ends of the universe.
He has to pay that life debt back some how.

Updating team lineups.
I've also posted the planetary missions that Jenno typed up on the main page, adding a list of the players involved underneath.
Gang, I think one of these threads might end up getting a future thread of the month award. I hope so at least.

xD Regnier. Well, as dearly as Kirin would ENJOY going to a planet where fungal growth is through the roof... I'm gonna have to send her to saleucami. I'm just a fan of relatively unused and non-mainstream planets. xD
Anywho... I'm a massive fan of three sided fights. Not so much of forced alliances, and I can't say that Kirin will agree to fighting with our friends in black... but she will if ordered to. Begrudgingly, mind you. I dunno... two factions like the Jedi joining for anything just seems kind of ridiculous, imo. = / But I'll go with anything, so long as I can actually write with Kirin. >_> xD

I'm inclined to agree with Dire, in that the Jedi seem to me to be the short that would fight both sides simultaneously and get their butts kicked, rather than 'associate' with either group. xD The Jedi have a significant amount of pride concerning such things, and of course, there'd be the publicity! The Jedi order working with the Sith! Oh the Scandal! Oh the Compromise! Oh the horror!
It's different than, like, feuding families or warlords banding together... because the Jedi basically see the Sith -- and Dark Jedi, as evil incarnate. I mean, that's a generalization and a blanket statement, but an over-simplified summation of their public agenda...
But maybe they end up accidentally helping... I love the idea of the plot, so I am, by no means, shooting it down, merely presenting that there would have to be a very specific set of circumstances for the Jedi to work with the Sith... and most of them would rather die. ;P
BUT ENOUGH OUT OF ME. I'm rambling.

Fair points, both of you *nod*
in any event, I think I'll be signing Nieraan up for the plaent with the name I can't spell. Salucambvjgdvdaffguu.
Edit: Though I will say that -if- the Jedi/Sith end up working together (which I think everyone agreees would take some extraordinary circumstances) I, at least, never pictured it as a perfect thing. Far from it, actually. I figured it be more a 'put off killing each other and handle these dudes' truce than an actual alliance. A ceasefire, if you will. I'd imagine neither side would go much out of their way to help the other, and the Sith especially might try to sabotage the Jedi. Those are just my thoughts, though. Should be good stuff no matter what happens. (y)

We should, especially since we're putting together what we're going to need for each thread. Also, those of us who have characters in one thread could always play NPCs in another thread.

Planet: Cerea Location: Mid Rim Alignment: Independent Idea/Scenario: My idea for this comes from the information provided by wookiepedia. Essentially, this will deal with an internal issue regarding the Cerean. Primairly their culture is very low-tech as they see themselves more at one with nature. It’s for this reason they have not joined the Republic.
However, there are some Cerean who see this decision as preventing the growth and evolution of their race, preventing them from becoming something greater. Now, since outsiders aren’t allowed to easily just walk around the planet, I think it’s probably best to have this take place in an Outsider Citadel. Once again I feel the trigger for these events taking place can be down to recent publication of happenings on Cerean, so for example either a terrorist attack by the pro-tech group or a shoot out between the pro-tech group and the anit-tech (majority of Cereans/government) group (this way we avoid painting one group as stereotypically bad and the other as stereotypically good).
My thinking is that with the Outsider Citadels probably being the best place on the planet to purchase/come across tech, this particular citadel would be the pro-tech group’s main base. The Cerean ‘government’ as it is, would probably have some sort of policing group on the citadels, or if not they’d have some sort of group/unit/section of policing in their society they could send after these pro-tech folks who are causing such a fuss. So the Sith would of course see this as an opportunity to gain a foothold in the Mid Rim at some point in the future and so would get involved in order to establish relations and offer them a place in the tech-laden Empire once the planet is taken over. This would then essentially involve the Sith trying to set up the Cerean pro-tech group into a position where they can start making some real progress on the planet in terms of spreading their relief/growing so that when the Empire comes knocking their job of taking over the planet is made much easier.
Now, the Jedi/Republic would perhaps see this as an opportunity to improve relations with the Cerean peoples/government in order to start them along the stepping stones to joining the Republic. I don’t know if for this one you’d want the Jedi showing up first and the Sith coming in later or if there is any such specific order wanted for the arrival of the groups but I just quite like the idea. And like I said, this would probably be best staying within one of the Outsider Citadels.
So yes, discuss/tweak to your heart’s content.
And like I said, these rps are likely to involve a fair number of NPCs.

Shard/Cho for the Sith teams, unless Mara wants Looma to stay with her master. Then we're a threesome I guess.
As for the planet/mission... something challenging, at least. Shard and Cho are both high-level fighters, after all.

I guess that means I'll be sending Locke to Felucia
So I guess that takes care of my characters: Locke(with Jazen) to Felucia, Nieraan(with Silas, I think, though I'll have to ask 'im) to Saleuiaofndsaifrndasflkdasnl.

I'm liking the Cerea mission now for Alindra. I don't want to speak for Hotel or Mara, but if you'd like, we can go there and convince them that technology is a wonderful thing.
I've also updated the first post again, just to keep it on track.

Hrm, if Looma does ends up on Cerea, then I think Locke and Jazen may end up switching, since I think FZ and Mara have something set up for Looma/Jazen. I'll leave that to them, though, since I'm just getting dragged around in it.
I also believe Dire's said he wants Kirin to go to Saluhoweveryouspellit

Actually, nightender, before I saw your post, I was thinking Cerea, too... Since Novus/Caleb are probably going to Felucia, our group going would mean 5 Sith, and I think that's too many. And I don't know if the Saleucami mission would be up Looma's alley. In the end, I don't care either way, but I think Cerea would work out well for Looma/Alindra/Shandari.

I haz a Twi'lek Jedi Knight -Elav Ilarith- that I'd like to starting posting with again. And Cirith will be joining with his (Togruta) Jedi Knight Tey Shaak. He and I will most likely be teaming up, and we're up for just about anything, so give us a direction to head in and off we go... ...Like a herd of turtles. Oh, and here be Elav.

Okayyy!!! I'm here to officially volunteer my Togruta Jedi Knight, Tey Shaak. Like Elav said we're up for anything, just tell us where to go.
I also have Xerron Delzaren my Sithie Apocalyte that I could use, if there's room for him. Just thought I'd mention it because the thread on Rhen Varr, specifically Dark Tomb of Ice, is stalled for the moment.
It'd be awesome if we could team up with Rugs and Greed/FZKnight or Locke Nesmee and Jazen but, if not, that's cool.
Just lemme know what's what.

Felucia could use some Jedi. I suggest, of the Jedi teams we have, whoever speaks up first can lay claim to the Felucia mission.
Sith, we've got two teams/four players not currently listed with a mission. You guys have any preferences? I don't want to jam people in somewhere they don't want to go, nor do I want to boot anyone out of a mission.
Thanks to Rugs' recent Jedi recruitment, I think things are just about balanced. We could use a couple more Jedi, but with our most recent arrivals, I think we've taken a step in the right direction.
I updated the main post to show where each team is going. Let me know if I made any errors, since it's the most I've changed things around in a while.

Ok, I've talked it over with Cirith and we're game for the Felucia mission. An addendum however: -Neither Elav nor Tey have been Knights for that long, and so the task of abating a possible genocide and investigating the presence of the Sith might prove to be a little much for them. And if Novus/Caleb will indeed be on Felucia, well... ...all I have to say is: I'm too young to die! xD Not saying we wouldn't enjoy the challenge, but perhaps some reinforcements are in order? Since Roq/Vakkor have yet to pick a mission perhaps they would consider joining us on Felucia? Please excuse me if I've failed to pick up on some of the details, exhaustion tends to do that to me.
