Speaking of Cannon Fodder, I'm thinking it might be good to give the Sithies permission to work random NPC casualties in their posts, to up the stakes and such. I mean, not to go, 'and then teh siff keeled five ppl wif a pencil', but to thoughtfully include some deaths that aren't direct PCs or dedicated NPCs. The same could go for Republic members, and lower-level Sith cronies.
Also, I think I might be figuring in a Captain of the Guard for Naaden... He'd be reference indirectly in posts from Naaden's point of view, but I think it might add a good Civilian aspect to the higher-level combatant chars, or something.

Please, yes. Zarene will be bringing sniper rifles, blasters, and rockets. There will be splash damage.

Jazen go go go! I need to post before I leave on Sunday! D: So, I'd kindly like to reserve a spot after Jazen, please. If I don't post by Sunday, just skip me and I'll be last! The Jedi should probably post first anyway, just to set the stage. And then Kella should come up and give her speech, then followed by the Sith going -hehehehe we win hehehe-! That's my opinion at least. :3

Yep, I think NPC deaths are gewd, Kella (Y)
Speaking of which, though we might not be able to get too carried away with the deaths of Republic officials, wouldn't it make sense that some senators would be in attendance? If not, then certainly some important people from Druckenwell >.> Perhaps a few of them could be offed...
Also, as far as posting order goes, I don't think we really need one. I think threads like this are best handled in the way that Darkness Falls was, in that someone posts, and then waits until a relevant time to post again; obviously, we don't want people going crazy and flooding posts in, so some waiting needs to be done before posting again. But, if you've gone and are at a point where you can go again, and some other people have had a chance to go, I say go for it.
However, I think everyone (barring the elusive Jedi Master, unless we find one) needs to do an intro post to get established before we get to having people move on to their next posts, so yeah.
Now clearly, I don't have a problem with Jazen or Silas claiming spots, since they'll be gone/busy soon, but I think you guys can get the the gist of what I'm getting at, right? xDD
Also, the thread is up :3 The post was quite a bit larger than I set out to make it >.> I'msorryI'lltrynottodothatagain T_T

I'm figuring they'd be able to plant no more than a quarter of Naaden's personal security, which would be about 25 nameless soldiers. The rest of the security would be other layers, more removed, and something only a Sith sniper, like Zarene, would be interested in. Then you have the Force Users themselves, who hid themselves by various methods in the audience. I expect the job of these two dozen grunts would be to isolate the Chancellor from back-up or rescue in case the initial move doesn't go as planned.
As it were, that'd leave the Sith pretty well outnumbered, but as mentioned, this is an assassination, so they have surprise and stealth on their side.
Open to feedback on that, though, seeing as it's not really set in stone... But for ease of Math, we could just figure a max kill-count for each Jedi or something.

-will not kill, will aim to disable if he can- So, about 5 a Jedi then?
So, whos left to post? Sparrow and Neo, then Kella right?
As a suggestion; while we may not have an exact posting order, perhaps we could alternate between Jedi and Sith posters. For example, Rugs posts, then Sparrow, then Kagemusha, then Dire and so on. If a person is unable to post, then another member of their group posts instead.
EX - Rugs, Sparrow, Kagemusha, Dire, Greed, Neo, Kuhblam, Jackal, Silas, Kella, cycle repeats. If Dire is absent, Neo goes instead and Dire takes Neo's place.
Is it too out there?

Here are my thoughts, and I hope they make sense xD
Like I said, I'm wary on a strict order, since that can lead to things being held up if someone vanishes, for a number or reasons, which can be frustrating when you're in a situation elsewhere in the thread that doesn't really need them to keep going. However, what you're suggesting is probably going to have to come to play when the fighting breaks out, since you kinda need the other person to respond before you can post again. Though it might not be strictly Jedi Sith Jedi Sith.
For example, if Locke, with Jazen in tow, takes on Adara, our own little mini posting order will probably something like Rugs, FZ, Dire, Rugs, FZ, Dire, etc. In fact, since there's two Jedi involved in that scenario, we'd have to have a point where two Jedi went back-to-back in the order. Now, should we hold off posting in our own little microcosm of the fight to wait for someone on the opposite side to go? I don't think so, personally. Again, I'm not saying people should go crazy and flood the thread with posts for just a few characters. However, if, in that same little scenario, I've posted, but FZ has not, and Kuhblam's ready to post again with Ryke facing off against whoever he may be fighting or doing whatever he may be doing, and it's been a reasonable period since his last post, I say let him go. Should wait a good chunk, if not all, of the other people in the thread to go before going again, so no one's flooded with posts, but I'm not too terribly concerned about what order the posts fall in during the rounds. But that's just me.
Any other thoughts/opinions?

That's most certainly the best thing I can think of short of doing a posting order, rugs. Its actually what we did back in Tornado of Souls. (<3) I are approve.
Now, onto the issue of sith soldiers. I... don't see a purpose to actually having Sith Troopers, spec ops, or whatever actually jump into the stadium. I was thinking that Adara, Novus, and Grawn were either supposed to be used as something of a back up just in case Zarene failed or something of a way for the Sith divide security forces. One half fights off the Siff, the other goes after the shooter. Y'know?
While I do think that soldiers are necessary, they'd likely be used to cut off the Supreme Chancellor from an escape route... and likely a distraction for the planetary militia / military / police force elsewhere on the planet. Further dividing and delaying reactionary forces. Maybe even sabotage the aerial / land based vehicles while they're in the hangar. That would hardly take out all of the buggers... but it would certainly take out a good portion.
The only real reason I could see the Siff jump into the stadium is to cause further chaos and discord... maybe distract the security from the Siff. But.... that's hardly worth the risk of having them actually venture into the stadium proper. The secret service (or whatever Naadine would use) would see them (and/or detect them) coming from a mile away. I mean... they are fully armed and armored in Sith Garb, after all.
The notion of a platoon of guys dropping down into the stadium is just... ridiculous... is all. It feels far too invasion-y for me... xD
Edit: I'm not against the idea, seeing as the Jedai need some stuff to hack apart... just... dunno. xD

It was just an entertaining thought, that's all. Plus tactically it would be a massacre for the Sith troopers as they'd be caught in the center of an ensuing cross-fire from security forces with a handful of laser-sword wielding magic wizards right next to them.
How much longer should we wait for those of us who have posted?

At least until Neology and I have posted, and logistically, I'm wanting to let her go first, but I've a post-in-progress, so if I finish that, I'll go ahead and post it.
After that, I'm thinking it's best to figure that the sniper shot was the first attack, and then whatever follows logically from that. Once I post for the Chancellor, the Jedi could post in reaction to that, if nothing else.
